  1. Jan. 2004 In shocking news, Dixie Carter had been removed of all power in TNA Wrestling. She and her family were brought in to help out Jeff and Jerry Jarrett, who were in trouble financially. But it was clear from the beginning Dixie Carter had no mind for the wrestling business, thusly earning the nickname "Ditsy Carter" around the backstage area. Daddy Carter had enough, and banned Dixie from being involved with the company at all. He kept the Carter money in the company and put Jeff Jarrett back into power as the owner. Who was the head booker though? Well, the problem is nobody new. Jarrett kept it a secret from everybody involved, acting as mediator between the head booker and the roster. Nobody but Jeff Jarrett knew who actually had the book now in TNA, but one thing was for sure, things were about to change. For now, the head booker will be known as Mr. X. Roster coming soon. Prediction contests will happen. I hope to get many of you involved.
  2. Scrap this dynasty, I've changed my mind and will be starting something different soon.
  3. I have created Pure Pro Wrestling using the 2004 mod. The focus of the shows will be almost all matches, with the occasional interview. I want to see if I can build up a fed where the focus is based on in-ring work. Not to mention this is a good start to my TEW 2020 journey so I can try out all the new changes. For those of you that were invested in my TEW 2016 MLW dynasty, the format for this one will be much the same, with graphics, prediction contests, and a few other things. I'm pretty much leaving everything turned on, but I'm not worrying about segment ratings at this time, just final show ratings. I'm not using a face/heel divide at this time, but of course things can change. Initial roster upcoming, hope to see some friendly faces here, as this is definitely going to be an interesting dynasty.
  4. <p>Guys, as much as it pains me to do this, as I was really invested in this dynasty, I'm going to shut it down</p><p> My reasons are twofold.. #1, with me being away for so long, all the momentum I had on this dynasty is gone and I can't get back into it with the same passion I had.</p><p> </p><p> #2, and the more pressing reason is simply TEW 2020. I finally had a chance to download the demo and even though it has some issues still, overall I'm amazed with it! So I'm going to start fresh with a dynasty on there, once I play around with it a little more and find a real world mod that I'm smart enough to download lol.</p><p> </p><p> I will still have a prediction contest so I really hope those that were predicting continue to do so. I really want my first dynasty on TEW 2020 to be very lengthy with as much support and predictors as some of the other dynasties on here. Stay tuned!</p>
  5. More time to get your predictions in. KOTM is postponed until next week, hopefully Monday. I'm losing my battle with depression this week and it's killing my motivation to get anything done. Hoping next week is better. Confident it will be.
  6. I will be running the KOTM show Friday for sure, so please get those predictions in!
  7. I am planning on running the King of the Mountain show on Tuesday so please get your predictions in
  8. Breaking News! MLW Owner Jeff Jarrett announces Fan Challenge Series In an effort to get more people involved in following the company, Jeff Jarrett has added something to the prediction contest that is currently running from January to June. After the June event, he will take the top 4 or 6 point totals (depending on how many people predict regularly), and he will reach out to those people, setting up a draft. The top point getter will get the 1st pick and so on. Each person will draft 4 people from the roster. They can draft 4 singles wrestlers, 2 tag teams, or 2 singles wrestlers and a tag team. The only stipulation is that at least 1 of the wrestlers must be at mid-card status or below. After the draft is complete, the bracket will be set up. On episodes of MLW Fusion and on the big events for July-December, these matches will take place. The format will be as follows: 2 singles matches, 1 tag team match, 2 more singles matches (the singles participants will face the singles participant that they didn't face in the first match). All 5 matches will take place no matter what, but the first team to win 3 matches wins the round. Much like the Davis Cup, if we have any tennis fans in here. It will be up to the team managers to decide who will be the singles participants for each team and who will be the tag team. It will also be up to the team managers to decide in what order they want their singles wrestlers to participate. This may sound confusing, but once the January-June prediction contest is over, I will get in touch with those that have qualified and break it down further. This is in an effort to get more of you predicting regularly, as I have seen this done in other dynasties with great success. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to let me know. Thanks.
  9. MLW King of the Mountain Preview I'm going to keep this short and sweet and get to the match card. As you can see, I'm no longer doing individual segment ratings, but I will continue to give a final show rating. It's going to be a fun card, with a few surprises in the KOTM tournament. I had to alter the results since I decided to do a quick end to all the storylines here. There is a reason for that. Starting in February, the weekly shows will be moving to YouTube as my contract with Twitch ran out. However I still have 4 more events that I have to broadcast on Twitch, so the events will still be on Twitch for now. I wanted to go to the weekly shows on YouTube with a fresh batch of storylines. Anyhow, enough of that, it's time to lay out the match card: Match Card King of the Mountain Semifinal Match Fred Yehi vs. "Filthy" Tom Lawlor Comments: King of the Mountain Semifinal Match Darby Allin vs. Matt Riddle Comments: King of the Mountain Finals Winner also becomes inaugural MLW American Openweight Champion. Yehi/Lawler vs. Allin/Riddle Comments: MLW World Heavyweight Title Match Jeff Cobb © vs. Tommy Mercer Comments: MLW World Middleweight Title Match MJF © vs. Brian Pillman Jr. Comments: MLW World Tag Team Title Match The Lucha Brothers © vs. Rich Swann and Shane Strickland Comments: Street Fight Joey Janela vs. MVP Comments: Bonus Question: How many titles will change hands? (2 points) General Dynasty Comments: I wanted another bonus question, I like to have at least 2 bonus questions per event, but since I've done away with individual segment ratings, I'm struggling to think of a second bonus question. So we'll go with that for this time. If anybody has ideas for bonus questions, feel free to message me. It'll be next week before I run this show. Probably Monday, but definitely by Tuesday so you have plenty of time to get your predictions in.
  10. MLW Fusion Monday, Week 4, January 2019 Soundstage 19 Universal Studio - Orlando, FL Show Attendance: 1,345 Shown On: Twitch Show Announcers: and Tony Schiavone and Matt Striker Final Show Rating: 53
  11. I am getting ready to run the next episode of MLW Fusion, which will be the KOTM Quarterfinals. I do have several storylines going, but they will be concluding with matches at the KOTM event, only because I'm ready to get a fresh start with a new batch of storylines. I appreciate you all predicting and your patience. I know with the COVID going around it's a tough time, and hopefully those that were following and predicting will still be able to. Thanks again for your patience.
  12. Sorry guys, I planned on getting this going again sooner rather than later, but depression got in the way. I'm back now, and I promise I will be running my next show either tomorrow or Thursday. If you guys want to give me a shout and let me know you're still following and plan on being in the prediction contest, please do so. I'm finalizing plans for a Team Challenge Contest so to speak, so the more people I have predicting my shows regularly, the better.
  13. <p>I'm baaaacckk! I gave it a lot of thought, and while I'm really looking forward to playing TEW 2020 when it comes out, I have a really good thing going with this MLW dynasty. I have a lot of followers, people predict my shows, and I have prediction contests going. So I think I'm going to continue this dynasty, especially since in my latest poll, continuing my MLW dynasty won the vote.</p><p> </p><p> I'm gonna be making some changes though. I'm eliminating the hardcore division. Hardcore is fun to watch, but tough for me to book, so I'm done with it. Those guys I had signed for the hardcore division, I'll find something else to do with them, if I want to use them. </p><p> </p><p> I'm actually considering adding a 2nd set of tag team titles, but not sure. Either way, my next show will run tomorrow. That includes the KOTM quarterfinals, so if you haven't gotten your predictions in for the KOTM (Kijar, brianc2008, and BHK1978 already have) do so before tomorrow. Thanks and hope you all are still on board with this dynasty.</p>
  14. Wasn't really sure what forum to put this in. Been away for a while and getting ready to slowly jump back into things. Looking at 3 options: Continue my MLW dynasty, start fresh with something new, wait until TEW 2020 and some mods come out and start a dynasty there. I see pros and cons to all 3, what do you guys think? I'll leave the voting open for a few days, until Thursday, then make a decision based off results. Thanks.
  15. Without reading through all the threads, I'm just gonna ask this: Is there an ETA for TEW 2020 to be released? And based on past versions of TEW, how long would it reasonably be before we could expect to see some real world mods? Thanks.
  16. <p>Just an update guys, I know some of you are eagerly anticipating how the KOTM tournament plays out, unfortunately you'll have to wait a couple weeks. </p><p> </p><p> I've just made the decision to go back to school as an adult student and work on a degree. I'm taking a full course load this semester and want to get off to a great start. Classes started yesterday, and of my 5 classes, 4 of them are 8 week courses, meaning the workload is pretty much doubled. So as you can expect, my workload is intense. Not to mention my current job is going to be taking me out of town a lot these next 2 weeks, and it doesn't leave time for much else. </p><p> </p><p> I am not aborting this project, not by a long shot, but it is on hold until at least next week, maybe the week after. Thanks for your patience.</p>
  17. If anybody else wants to get their KOTM predictions in before I run the Quarterfinals, do so today, because if all goes well, I'll be running that show tonight.
  18. <p>As we get ready to start the 2019 King of the Mountain Tournament, I wanted to run down the entire bracket.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Quarterfinals</span></p><p> </p><p> MVP vs. Fred Yehi</p><p> Joey Janela vs. "Filthy" Tom Lawlor</p><p> Matt Riddle vs. Low-Ki</p><p> Darby Allin vs. Brian Pillman Jr.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Semifinals</span></p><p> </p><p> MVP or Yehi vs. Janela or Lawlor</p><p> Riddle or Low-Ki vs. Allin or Pillman Jr.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Finals</span></p><p> </p><p> MVP, Yehi, Janela, or Lawlor vs. Riddle, Low-Ki, Allin, or Pillman Jr.</p><p> </p><p> The reason I wanted to present the whole bracket with possible semifinals and finals match-ups is because I'm getting a jumpstart on the January-June prediction contest. As a special bonus, I am asking you guys to predict the following:</p><p> </p><p> KOTM winner (6 points)</p><p> KOTM finals participants (2 points per correct answer)</p><p> </p><p> So there's 10 possible bonus points available, besides the bonus points for every show. However, here is the catch:</p><p> </p><p> To get full bonus points, you MUST get your predictions in before I run the next episode of MLW Fusion, which will be either late tomorrow afternoon or evening. So you have some time. </p><p> </p><p> You can still make your predictions after the fact, but if you make them late, you only get half the bonus points (3 for the KOTM winner and 1 each for the KOTM finals participants). The reason I'm doing that is because for those that predict late, knowing half the choices are gone and making it a little easier, it's not fair for the ones that did predict early and have to choose between all 8 men. Make sense? Alright, so get those bonus predictions in.</p><p> </p><p> Also, a format question, I'm thinking about no longer showing the match and segment ratings. The reason is because it's not a concern to me. I'm more interested in the writing and the booking, not the ratings. I'm capping MLW as a regional company anyways. What do you guys think?</p>

  20. I'm having a bit of a problem with keeping everyone on my roster booked properly. By that I mean that I have wrestlers wanting to be booked to have some success. Unfortunately, there are wrestlers on my roster that I just wanted to use as jobbers, and others that I want to push heavily. I'm not worried about losing my top talent to other promotions because my fed is small sized and I'm capping it at regional. Any suggestions? I feel like this is a problem most everyone has at one point or another.
  21. So the 8 man field for the 2019 King of the Mountain Tournament is set, and there are some surprises. To recap, here is the field: Matt Riddle "Filthy" Tom Lawlor Brian Pillman Jr. MVP Fred Yehi Darby Allin Joey Janela Low-Ki A very interesting field indeed. MVP and Low-Ki are the odds on favorites to win, and Fred Yehi, Darby Allin, and Brian Pillman Jr. seem like longshots. But we've seen stranger things happen. The bracket will be drawn on the next episode of MLW Fusion, which I plan on having up later this afternoon. I hope you all are enjoying this dynasty. Oh, one last note, in case you didn't see, I hired Scorpio Sky, and I have recently hired 4 more wrestlers. 3 of them are here because of prize winners, and 1 has come back to the wrestling business after a long absence. 2 of those 4 will be in the mystery partner tag match. Just a few teasers here lol. Unless something crazy happens, I'll have the next episode of MLW Fusion up today.
  22. MLW Fusion Monday, Week 2, January 2019 Soundstage 19 Universal Studio - Orlando, FL Show Attendance: 1,223 Shown On: Twitch Show Announcers: and Tony Schiavone and Matt Striker Final Show Rating: 51
  23. I'm loving this concept. I tried to book WWE Evolution in that particular mod, but didn't have much success. Here's hoping you have better success with this idea. Booking an all women's show is hard! What are you doing as far as the rest of TNA goes? Are you autobooking Impact? Either way, you can't do any worse of a job than Hogan and Bischoff did. That was awful, they damn near killed TNA.

  25. The 8 participants in the first ever King of the Mountain Tournament have been selected. 2 by me, and 6 by the 3 winners in the prediction contest. I will start running qualifying matches next, and I plan on getting an episode of MLW Fusion posted tomorrow. There are definitely going to be some surprises in the tournament, so I hope you'll all enjoy.
