1. OK, I think we can all agree that the "I think the lightning bolt chose you." line is really, really dumb. But I want to give the show the benefit of the doubt, because Flash was one of my favorite characters in Justice League. I just worry, since these are the same writers that made Deathstroke and Slade Wilson two different characters and gave Deathstroke...Deathstroke the name Billy Wintergreen. In other DC (well, more Vertigo) news, Hellblazer is getting a second chance, and it looks like this time, the creators actually care: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPE2oBnzROY
 2. How is it cartoony? I don't recall any Looney Tunes-ish antics. It's a serious, well-told story that's drawn seriously and IMO beautifully. Have we really reached a point where we refer to everything that is drawn, or looks like it's drawn, as cartoony? Crap like this is why animation is shown no respect outside of Japan, and even then it's still a minority.

Maybe they think no one cares about Puro stars in America?

They've done just as much in the wrestling industry as Inoki has. Misawa has influenced countless people.

Because it's the WWE Hall of Fame, not the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame. It doesn't matter who Baba or Misawa influenced, the fact of the matter is that they never had anything meaningful to do with WWE. Meanwhile, Inoki was a regular co-promoter with WWE whenever they went to Japan.

 6. Creative seems to have a real hard time with internal consistency.
 7. Anyone else starting to chuckle at how Bryan keeps falling for Kane's sneak attacks?

I don't care if you brace yourself or not, if you use it, you're going to go down either the Dynamite or (God forbid) the Benoit road.

 9. I'm starting to get a little sick of Paige retaining through luck. Seriously, what's the point of watching NXT if nothing that's established on there carries over to the main shows?
 10. Speaking of Jack Kirby, I wish there was a more concerted effort by Marvel to help teach mainstream moviegoers how important he was to their heroes.
 11. I miss Lefort's gaudy jacket. And why can't we have French wrestlers who aren't arrogantly patriotic?
 12.
So (assuming this is true), alongside riding the open world trend, Crytek also took out the Roman settling? I guess to them, the medieval setting hasn't been done to death yet. Here's an idea, if you have to set it in the middle ages, go with a place with different architecture like Hungary or Russia, not another damn trip to England or France (or fictional versions thereof).

To be honest, a new Crackdown is the only thing in that whole list that piqued my interest.

 13.
I like the way Wyatt is booked too. He reminds me of villains like Lex Luthor and The Joker, men who aren't stronger than the hero, but are crafty and underhanded enough to make up for it. The only thing I thought was dumb was the kid's voice, my brother and I broke out laughing the second Cena had to sell that as terrifying.

Harper and Rowan holding hands with the kid was adorable though.

 14. I honestly don't understand how this gives New Japan any more exposure than just running their own shows. ROH doesn't exactly have more fans in America, considering most ROH fans are New Japan fans as well. If anything, running shows with ROH hurts their chances for exposure since the show is at the Hammerstein, a place better for preaching to the choir than reaching a new audience.
 15. Anyone else like to pretend that Ziggler is Curt's son instead?

Tanahashi and now Okada in smaller matches, which I don't expect to be classics. Liger and Kushida challenging for the ROH titles instead of bigger names. Seems Nakamura is the only NJ big name that may be putting on a big match against Steen (or Cole).

And how does Roderick Strong not get a match against someone from NJPW?

Bizarre booking.

Why should they? This is an event that I doubt anyone in Japan will even see. ROH may be the #3 promotion in America, but that means next to nothing these days. Even with declining attendance, Wrestling Dontaku still drew more than double ROH's average. I would be surprised if New Japan sees this as anything other than stupid gaijin promoters willing to shell out ridiculous amounts of money for men no one in America, outside hardcore smarks, even know about.

"why Borderlands?" IMO, it doesn't really have enough 'flesh' to it to make a game that isn't Borderlands (not as per the games, anyway, there might be novels or comics and stuff that I haven't seen/read/cared about). I don't really see what makes Borderlands so special that they couldn't just do whatever story they wanted to do in their own universe. I guess Borderlands would sell more than "Death Gun Robots" (though I'd totally buy a game called Death Gun Robots).

I have nothing at all against the BL games, I liked them both and screwing around in co-op with a friend is still fun. But the actual universe itself doesn't seem to have a lot going for it for a TellTale game, other than the fact that the art style is already similar. When I think of evocative, fun game universes that would be cool to explore in different genres to the original games, I don't immediately think Borderlands (instead I think Dishonored, Mass Effect and Warhammer 40k).

Well, we're in agreement on 40k, but I personally still find the Borderlands universe interesting enough to warrant someone else's take. For crap's sake, if Plants vs Zombies can get a shooter, Borderlands can get an adventure game. And considering that it's called Tales from the Borderlands, I wouldn't be surprised if it's more of an anthology series, which would fit into the manic nature of the other games. Remember, 40k started life as just a parody of Warhammer Fantasy and the Sci-Fi craze of the 80's, but through talented writers and devoted fans, it was turned into one of the most iconic game universes.

I can't really see what they can add to the Borderlands universe, though. Seems like a strange choice of universe for that sort of game.

The Borderlands universe has a lot of room to move, in terms of both story and gameplay. I imagine Telltale's take will be like Sam and Max, silly, but still capable of dropping the drama bomb hard.

It seems to me Wyatt is not completely natural when speaks. Probably it's the character he portrays that limits his promo abilities.

Really? He comes off as an amazingly natural speaker to me. His promos have been some of the best moments since I started watching wrestling again.

 21. I haven't played much of State of Decay, but what I have is pretty good. It seems to be along the lines of what people were hoping Dead Island would be. Finally got Dark Souls II and it's just as awesome as the first. I am kind of annoyed about how the obnoxious fandom has turned a lot of people off from trying the game. It's not "LOL so hard gaiz!" like these idiots will say, because I can actually advance in Dark Souls, and I'm not that good at most games. It's tough and frustrating, but it's fair. The enemies all have to abide by the same rules as you, and the bosses have exploitable patterns like in old NES games. And it's a slow paced game, so when you die, nine times out of ten it's your fault for not being careful (the other one is your first fight with a boss). Essentially, Dark Souls is about the satisfaction of getting past something difficult, than just about making you feel "so much more hardcore than the filthy casuals".
 22. I have some very harsh opinions of Christopher Paolini that are probably better left unsaid, but honestly, if you like any kind of fantasy story, you should watch or read at least some of Lord of the Rings. It did establish the foundation of all fantasy in the last 60 years after all.
