One thing is really bothering me though and it's the design of the Titans. They are so silly and goofy looking and don't fit the dark themes of the show. I legitimately laughed out loud and they're really taking away some enjoyment. The Colossal Titan and the Armor Titan look okay, but the rest are just...silly. I guess it's a good thing the rest of the aspects of the show are as entertaining as they are because if not the Titans would really ruin the show.

I'm with you there. The ridiculous designs are what have kept me from having much interest in the show. There's no way that those things were made to be scary.

Was the ending so godawful that it killed any joy you got from the previous games? It says I've put an hour into so far and a good chunk of that was just waiting for the freaking inventory screen to pop up(took almost a minute a few times). In conversations the characters' mouths move, but no words are being said and I'm not getting any audio or subtitles(even though I have them turned on). I browsed the internet looking to see if it's just a PS3 issue or not, but apparently quite a bit of PC users had the same issues in non English speaking countries, but I doubt that's my issue since it's a North American PS3.

The combat and running around and whatnot works fine, but anytime Death has a conversation with anyone, I don't get anything. They didn't have the newest games or anything, but they had a pretty good selection of PS3, PS2, Wii, and XBox 360 games to choose from. I grabbed Darksiders and to my surprise, it's free for a week. I figured since it was a game, there'd be some sort of fee. I played Darksiders back when it came out and I never got too far into it for some reason. I don't even remember why, but I'm having a blast. It's pretty much God of War with Christian Mythology instead of Greek, but I love the story. I also love that Mark Hamill is in it.

They also had Darksiders 2, so when I finish this one, I'll pick that one up to play as Death.

I CAN FINALLY USE THIS!

But yeah, Darksiders is awesome. I haven't really played much of 2 though. I was kind of thrown off by how it feels more like a more action-y Elder Scrolls than Zelda and GoW (Zelda of War?) like the first one.

Yes, I've read the reviews... but I got it at a good price, and even if it's not their best game, I still expect it to be entertaining. After all, it's Jurassic Park! And Telltale! Win!

I like Telltale.

Just a warning, Walking Dead Season 2 is even more depressing than the first season. The first episode is among the most unpleasant gaming experiences I've had in my life.

But even with Telltale's bastardly manipulation of all our feels, it's hard to find people who don't like them.

But two things: When you only have four (at least their site claims King Mo is still there) of a certain race on your roster, and then you place three of them together as a group, it's going to raise some eyebrows. Especially when it's a group of black men in a southern-based promotion, there are a lot of stigmas on both sides and it can be a very sensitive thing. Not saying either side is right, it's just how it is around here.

Second of all, there are music fans who go on crusades against music they don't like, they call themselves metalheads. They're actually just as destructively negative about their passion as well, I say this as a man who always says metal is his favorite genre.

 17. If you dislike platforming, what made you want to play Prince of Persia? The whole series is like, 70% platforming.

 21.

CK2 is great, I've put a lot of play time into it, but maaaan I hated that PoP game. I enjoyed aspects of all the PS2 games and loved Sands of Time, but I absolutely couldn't stand that re-make. And I found the princess incredibly annoying and both of them were like the next gen dumbed-down versions of the Sands of Time characters I liked, so for me at least, it definitely didn't have anything resembling likable characters. And somehow the combat was even worse than Sands of Time? I really didn't enjoy anything about it, and pretty much gave up on the franchise, since Assassin's Creed games seemed to have a better feel for what I wanted and didn't want in a "running around on walls" game.

So I get not liking the game, but how does one installment ruin an entire franchise for anyone? I've never been able to grasp that. Like how Empire Earth III killed an awesome strategy series. It was one game! Franchises are supposed to recover from slumps, that's why they're franchises.

I will agree that Assassin's Creed is awesome, barring the modern parts not involving John de Lancie. For some reason though, I have yet to play IV, despite the fact that, from what I can tell, it's basically Ubi Meier's Pirates! Creed.

The only Prince of Persia I've ever played is the original (like, the ORIGINAL original). Am I missing much?

Only about a metric ton.

 22.
I have one simple question to people who are on the fence about the CK2 deal. Have you ever wished there was a game that simulated the medieval politics like in Game of Thrones? If so, pay the 20 bucks now! Crusader Kings 2 is one of the best strategy games ever made and the DLC only makes it better.

On another note, anyone else here a fan of the '08 Prince of Persia? I think it gets too much crap for being "easy", it's not like the Sands of Time games were much harder to begin with. And besides, the story is still great and the characters are still likable, which is more important for a PoP game than difficulty IMO.

 23.

Talking of VAs, Corinne Kempa should do more video games. ¬_¬

Big time, Leliana is one of my favorite Dragon Age characters. Anime VAs like Travis Willingham need more video game work too.

 24.
I've been on a big Prince of Persia kick and wound up watching the movie last night, and I did not like it. Don't get me wrong, it's a solid movie on almost every level, the action sequences are great, even including several clever references to the games and Ben Kingsley provides his unholy acting talent. But it lacks real heart, it feels like it was made by people who enjoyed the games, but didn't understand why they were good.

The "political intrigue has forced me to clear my name" plot feels more like it would be at home in an Assassin's Creed movie (which Sands of Time does reference) than a Prince of Persia movie, there's almost no narration, which is strange, as I thought that was one of the key narrative aspects of the Sands of Time game, and the romantic chemistry is so barely there, you need an electron microscope to see it. In fact, Dastan (Hate that they named him) and Tamina are the most dull, uncharismatic characters in the film and are out-acted by the rest of the cast, including the ostriches. The most bizarre thing is that the script itself is good, as proven every time Ben Kingsley, Alfred Molina or Toby Kebbell step on-screen, Gyllenhaal and Arterton were just clearly incapable of pulling off their roles.

I do hope that this doesn't convince Disney to give up on PoP films though. Because this one did prove you can pull of the action of the games in live-action, you just need more talented actors for the leads and a director who actually understands what made the Sands of Time trilogy work.

 25.
I suppose I should at least watch some of the show before condemning it.

Also just a random weird thought, in 50 years time the Punsher will be a vet of a war that hasn't happened yet.

I'm more curious if, after all Garth Ennis and his warped mind have devised, there will be anything left for the Punisher to do in 50 years.
