1. I loved Miz saying he was only 17 wins from equaling Taker's streak.
 2. That may be the most random pairing of manager and wrestler(s) that I've ever seen.
 3. I was pretty young as well, so there may be others who have a better grasp of the situation. But, as far as I can remember, I don't think Shawn was significantly more over than Marty at the time. I'm with you on The Miz. I figured he'd fall by the wayside after he and Morrison split, but I'd say he's done at least as well for himself as Morrison. His developing feud with Bryan Da...err, Daniel Bryan may be the most interesting thing going on right now IMO, beyond HBK/Taker. I could see Miz developing into a legit main event heel within a year or two, which isn't something I ever thought I'd say.
 4. Is that really what happened with the Rockers, though? I don't remember Shawn being appreciably more over than Marty at the time of the split. I'm with you on the Hardys and Miz & Morrison, but I don't think the Rockers fit your example, at least as far as I can remember.
 5. I can't decide what was worse: that terrible ending, or the fact that Jeff Hardy, RVD and Sting were all MIA. Seriously, how are none of those guys on the show?
 6.

HBK isn't going to win. He really doesn't need the rub and a second loss to UT isn't going to hurt his reputation any. I'm sure he'll enjoy his few months off before they decide to bring him back.

I stand by my prediction that a young guy's going to pin him dirty at a WM within a few years. If they pick up some Lesnar-esque super rookie he might pin him clean (probably not.)

I agree. I don't think HBK is going to win, nor do I think we'll see HBK/Taker 3 at Mania next year. I was just saying that the only way I could logically see them doing a third match would be for Michaels to win this one, leaving Taker wanting to make up for that one and only blemish.

 7.

I don't know about not being bothered with it, but I do recall/heard he offered Orton to end it and Orton respectfully declined.

Either way, booking HBK/Taker three Manias in a row would just be bad form, I mean there is some sort of substance with this one as they've put something huge on the line and it's some sort of do or die scenario, but the third time.. career vs. career isn't that big a step up, especially if Shawn manages to come back. Why would Shawn challenge Taker a third time anyway?

I really hoped Cena vs. Taker would take place this year.

Well, if they wrestled again at Mania next year, the logical way to go would be having Taker issue the challenge this time around, to try and avenge his one and only loss at Mania.

 8. ...Really? That's rather shocking to me. Did he explain why?
 9. I would LOVE that. Never gonna happen, of course, but, Danielson mark that I am, I would probably order Wrestlemania (something I haven't done since WM20 for Benoit's title win) to see that.
 10. Absolutely. And it makes perfect sense within the story they're telling with he and Miz. Still doesn't mean I liked seeing Danielson lose to that lumbering oaf. I think I would have preferred it if he had been wrestling Big Show instead. Accomplishes the same thing, except I wouldn't have had to watch Khali stink up my TV.
 11. An excerpt from an interview Haas did for Monday Night Mayhem: Looks like we may get our wish.
 12. I actually mentioned wanting to see Haas in ROH to a friend of mine yesterday. I think he'd be a good fit, just as Jamie Noble was when he wrestled in ROH as James Gibson in between his WWE stints. I imagine he'll probably wind up in TNA, though--where he will promptly get lost in the shuffle on their ridiculously overcrowded roster. Daivari alongside Nana in The Embassy? That would be fantastic.
 13. Danielson's 0-3, but I'd say he's made a better impression than any other rookie on the show. His storyline with The Miz is the highlight of the show, in my opinion. Of course, I might be biased.
 14. That is a ridiculous argument to make. Last year, the Vikings were a playoff team without Favre. Without Favre, they still would've been a good team. I doubt they'd have made the NFC title game, but they would have been competitive. Where would the Colts be without Peyton Manning? I do think the writers can be biased at times, though. I'm at least partially with you on your first point. You just used what I think was a terrible example.
 15. There is so much I'd like to say in response to this, but it's mostly opinion and personal preference, so I'll refrain from that. But what spots did he screw up? I didn't notice anything.
 16. Nope, Punk won the title from Aries, and lost it to James Gibson, who lost it to Danielson.
 17. I'm not sure, but I'd think he wrestled in front of some pretty big crowds when he was in NJPW.
 18. Yeah, that was awesome... ...and did Michael Cole REALLY just diss someone for a lack of personality? Pot, kettle?
 19. Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho? Too bad it pretty much has to be a squash, considering Bryan's just coming in and Jericho just won the title. If they were both established, that could be an awesome match.
 20. I don't see any way Nomar is getting in the hall. As for Jeter, he's an obvious lock, but I don't know or care whether he's a "first ballot" inductee. I find the whole "first ballot" thing to be contrived and stupid. You're either a Hall of Famer, or you're not. The whole point of the HOF is to recognize the best of the best, and I don't see the point of adding another layer of separation. It's not like a guy's numbers get any better in his 2nd year of eligibility.
 21. Ditto. I like that they are acknowledging the fact that he's not actually a "rookie", and has considerable experience. The Miz/Danielson interaction seems like it's going to be the focal point of the show. I'm very interested in seeing how it plays out, which is more than I can say for the bulk of the stuff they'll be hyping leading into Mania, aside from Jericho/Edge and, possibly, HBK/Taker.
 22. Is it pathetic that I seriously marked out seeing him on for like 5-10 seconds?
 23. I'm not allowed to disagree with the decision just because it is a recent one? If his title run turns out to be a success, hey, that's great. As I said, I like Tyler, and I'd be perfectly fine with him surpassing my expectations as champ. But at this moment, I don't think it made sense to take the title off of Aries and put it on Tyler. I just feel like Aries is the most complete guy on the ROH roster. I know that, whenever I see him on the ROH TV show, he comes across to me as the biggest star they have. And even with the praise I just threw out for him, I'm going to disagree with you on Aries getting the belt back any time soon. I wanted him to keep the belt, but now that he's lost it, I don't want him to win it back in the immediate future. Down the road, maybe. I'm guessing it'll be Davey who takes the belt off of Tyler, whenever that may be.
 24. BOO. I like Tyler just fine, but I don't see him as world champion material. I hope his reign is short-lived.
