1. I'm with you, definitely. Raw is the more loaded show as far as star power goes, but Smackdown remains far more interesting, IMO.
2. I didn't see any promo from Bryan...guess it happened later on in the show?
3. Thank you, WWE. Now I can finally stop watching this terrible show. He'll obviously show up again in some form or another, be it on NXT or one of the other shows. But for now, it's the Canucks game for me.
4. That's not as shocking as Daniel Bryan scoring his FIRST WIN! ....and over SANTINO MARELLA, NO LESS! Best in the World! Best in the World! Best in the World!
5. Well put. My taste in wrestling is far closer to Jim Cornette's than Vince Russo's. I think Russo is an absolutely dreadful booker/writer who doesn't belong anywhere near a wrestling promotion. But what Cornette wrote in that e-mail was way over the rope, whether he has a penchant for hyperbole or not. And sending it to Taylor, a TNA employee, was stupid. On the (extremely unlikely) chance that Cornette had actually done something to Russo, what do you think would have happened to Taylor if they'd found that e-mail and he'd never passed it on?
6. How would you like to see it handled, then? I think we can all agree that JaMarcus was a colossal flop--so, in your ideal NFL, what would happen next? Would JaMarcus be forced to give back money the Raiders already gave him?
7. If a guy underperforms, the team can simply cut him loose--see Russell, JaMarcus.
8. So is this current poll for next week? If so...didn't they already tape next week's show?
9. Yeah, Vince was pretty bad. I think I'd still take him over Michael Cole, though.
10. I don't remember Lawler and Ross announcing together all that much in the period of time I'm talking about. Not by themselves, at least. I'm talking pre-Attitude era.
11. Yeah, it's pretty jarring to think about how good a commentator he was for most of the 90's, and how terrible he's been for the last 12 years or so.
12. The more likely scenario: he wins every week, and the matches get shorter and more decisive every week.
13. Michael Tarver? Really? He can't even beat the guy most likely to be eliminated first? I am pretty close to done with this show.
14. I'm finally getting caught back up with the TV show, thanks to my new DVR, which solves the problem of the show being on at a terrible time for me. Just watched the show with the Steen/Eddie Edwards Semifinal match. I am LOVING Steen right now. So much better as a heel.
15. I never thought much of Kennedy/Anderson when he was in WWE, but he's quickly become maybe the most interesting guy in TNA. His rivalry with Angle was gold, and he doesn't seem to be missing a beat with his attacks on Pope. If he were the guy to eventually dethrone RVD, I would not object in the least.
16. Yeah, I really like the fact that they didn't turn Orton into a pandering face, or really change him at all. Pretty much the only thing that's changed is who he's fighting, which is exactly how they should be handling face Orton.
17. Not as scary as the fact that he's gone from putting on MOTYCs with Kurt Angle to looking like less of a threat than Daniel friggin' Bryan. Thank you for refraining from that vicious assault on my dignity. It really was. He had his mannerisms and speech patterns down perfectly. And I loved the knee drop on the jacket.
18. Indeed. Whoever came up with the idea of a Jericho/Miz association is a genius.
19. I am smart. Except Daniel Bryan actually looked BETTER than Nigel tonight.
20. They actually let Bryan last longer than a minute and a half?! *GASP*
21. I thought Angle was taking time off? Why would he be in the poll?
22.
I'd go and vote for Nigel, but I'm sure if he gets voted in, he'll just lose in 5 minutes anyway.

Daniel Bryan would lose in 15 seconds, but that's neither here nor there.
