  1. I was trying to avoid green for Boston but seeing as its a special circumstance
  2. Do you mean a mid-80s version specifically or did you miss the ones on the previous page?
  3. and i guess heres a mid-80s sports entertainment / family friendly option
  4. "The American Pro Wrestling Federation was the last major territorial promotion to open on the East Coast.. ..in late 1972, another entity with significant financial backing emerged- Richard Eisen's Supreme Wrestling Federation, going to war with APWF immediately, stealing Micky Starr and in the process revolutionizing the contract system used in wrestling from informal agreements to... ..were outdone by SWF at every turn.. ..a series of poor business decisions.. ..now a shell of what they were and bleeding cash, APWF is in the hands of youngster Terry Lambert." APWF / AWF American Pro Wrestling Federation / American Wrestling Federation 1969-1977 Semi-Mainstream Tradition Classic Balanced
  5. Ive only sorted the named ones so far and they're a bit closer cut which is my preference but heres what i have (sorry for any other renderers if ive inadvertently mixed any or your work in here, trying to work back through a large folder of saved pngs): https://www.mediafire.com/file/ry8w1ban03837zm/WomenRenders1.zip/file
  6. While im in the area of the topic of puro animal roundels, an error i think i caused a long while back that weighs heavily on my conscious: GCG's origin animal was (i believe) a tiger and not a lion. BCG's origin animal was a lion. I think my intention being that youd have Tigers v Lions, but then someone asked hey can you do a quick relabelling of that design for GCG (because BCG was just a request and not an official company in the gameworld at that point) and then several years later i totally forgot GCG was meant to be a tiger and went ahead and did another lion design and that compounded the issue. I'm sorry GCG.
  7. Yeah, i do like when its possible to offer a choice. The Cverse 70s US promotions especially where at game start 1977 many are facing going out of business within 6-24 months, and the enticement for players to play as them is "can you pull them out of their tailspin and survive into the 80s" its fun to try and think of design options for like 'staunch traditional' versus 'evolving with the times'.
  8. "Amongst the legendary names from CWB's past are: Ed Henson, Iron Michael Milligan, The Boston Bomber and Wild Man Sullivan."
  9. What can i say, people do be loving an animal head in a roundel (its me, i'm people) "Championship Wrestling from Boston was opened by Italian immigrant Gene Plumelli in 1960, making it the 1st full-time organized wrestling promotion in the United States. It was almost 8 years before any other territory became organized into a promotion, and so most of the big names of the 60's & 70's got their start in CWB- they were unquestionably the most prestigious promotion in the U.S. until around 1970." CWB Championship Wrestling from Boston 1960-1978 Brawler-Friendly Traditional Silver Age Pro-Wrestling
  10. "Their style is basically an Americanized version of those promotions and they run a similar touring schedule. They are very youth-oriented, hoping to acquire a loyal group of youngsters to build around."
  11. It's part of the CVerse 1977 mod (not sure if it was introduced in the latest Beta or had been there in the 75/76 versions, so i tend to consider it part of the wider canon. I think theres like two small handfuls of tiny promotions across the world that are set to crop up through the 80s to populate things to counter the big US territory promotions dying out quickly leaving SWF standing tall. PAW is the only US one i think (starting in 1981) so i wanted to give it some love.
  12. "...a tiny start-up promotion based in the Carolinas that is heavily influenced by the heavy hitters in Japan, BHOTWG and GCG." PAW 1981 - ??? Americanized Puro Wrestling as a Sport
  13. "Chapter 2" TCW In which the designer realises she should probably return to more designs given them a second run. Still gonna do a blue version but thought this was too fun a option to pass by
  14. Yeah, i might give a play around to revamp it to a blue to save people the headache since i used some pinks and purples to give it an almost 80s red glow which may not translate well with a simple colour shift.
  15. Ok good to know its not just me. got bit by the bug and im now attempting to get a stable stop-gap version together until an official release comes along. Trying to keep changes minor but i think ultimately the fix will have to be about bringing down the super high pops of the territory promotion stars (at least in the areas they wont have had visibility yet), while still keeping the game dynamic as intended.
  16. Its normally done with photoshop, most of the suited wrestler images were done that way. Generally the only characters who got actually rendered with suits on are owners/managers/commentators - except for the rare occasion someones photoshopped suit alt in got so iconic in its usage that it ended up being part of what rerenderers consider necessary canon. There should be enough suited worker renders out there that finding one that lines up with the render you're looking to suit isnt too time consuming. The only hard part tends to be if the original person has long hair or other props/hands in the way of their face/body. If you want to get really fancy you can also go looking for actual IRL suit model photos, cut those out and run a filter or two over it so it looks more 3d rendered and work with that.
  17. god damnit London, all these great renders and the fact you're working through the women and then the OTHER fact that you're doing 97 women too has got me doing all the VinceMcahonInterested.gif faces.
  18. Done some sims of this to get a tweaked version of this running but by end of year one ive got CICW out of business, HWA and APWF about to shut and CWB in haf a mil and AAFW in a mil and a half debt sure to follow even tho both CAN and US economies are at a good level.. those last three suggest to me ive done something wrong. so im wondering if people who play this mod might advise if theres a setting i may have blundered or option i need to uncheck. Does small roster penalty need to be turned off perhaps? Or is it that TEW patches have thrown off this mods balance? EDIT: did some deeper poking around and i think its the latter. Seems a lot of the promotions may be scheduled to run more shows than they can afford in a pre-PPV era? gonna switch a few to slightly more conservative setups and run some more tests. EDIT2: ah no absolutely wrong direction, they need to run more events because they all have a lot of written contracts and the game seems intent on booking tv shows all at once?
  19. "It's time for TOTAL WRESTLING!" Total Championship Wrestling
  20. yeah, i didnt want to attribute anything to CTV because its design is too painful even though i felt they may be the closer fit for CBN. Originally ICtv was Global and CBN as CityTV but it there was no real way to make that latter pairing work without using creative license and rebranding it as CBNtv so ultimately i flipped the two round. Also why do all the big Canadian TV networks have logos like they're early 2000s digital solutions companies? I feel like they're all competing to sell me printer paper or something
  21. How much reach does beIN have in Europe do you know?
  22. Ah sorry miscommunication, Setanta was never a good fit for ESN since they're meant to be a Big european network primarily and only Small UK secondarily. Dont think Premier Sports of Freesports run in Europe in that way? The closest i can figure is Eleven Sports?
  23. "..but it could be something further afield." UKB Prime / Secondary / Digital
