  1. First FTR “Class” Revealed; TCW Legend Confirmed As “Head of Development” First FTR “Class” Revealed; TCW Legend Confirmed As “Head of Development” USPW FTR to air on USPW Plus; more details on USPW’s “Developmental Program”... Just over a week after the announcement of USPW’s “FTR Development Programme”, the company has today confirmed the first “class” of competitors who have signed “development deals” with them. USPW also announced that a number of retired wrestlers had signed with the company, serving as the trainers for the young talent that would be joining the promotion. Heading up that group, would be TCW Legend, and now “FTR Head of Development”, Ricky Dale Johnson! Having spent the vast majority of his career loyal to Total Championship Wrestling, the announcement of RDJ’s signing with USPW has shocked many within the industry, with one insider saying “seeing Ricky anywhere other than TCW, is like watching hell freeze over!” Speaking to sources within USPW earlier today, those who have spoken with Ricky Dale Johnson said that the former TCW Champion had “grown tired of waiting” for a promised role within TCW after his retirement, and took up a big money offer from USPW, despite having turned them down twice during his wrestling career. Like the Pablo Rodriguez signing, the company is said to have heavily pursued RDJ for some time, seeing him as the “only candidate” for the role. As far as having somebody who can pass down knowledge to others, there are very few better than RDJ, which makes TCW’s lack of action somewhat surprising. Ricky Dale Johnson will work with retired Canadian wrestler Eric Tyler, who will be “Head Trainer” and “Head Booker” of FTR. Tyler is known as something of a traditionalist, but is widely regarded for having a great mind for the business, and a propensity towards passing on his knowledge to the younger generation. The company has also confirmed the signing of Joanne Rodriguez, who will work as part of the company’s new “recruitment team”, reporting to “Director of Pro-Wrestling Operations” Pablo Rodriguez. She has also been brought on board as the other “Head Trainer” for the USPW: FTR program, and will mostly work with the female side of the roster. USPW.com today posted a full list of signed talents, which will be listed below, with additional notes from several of TotalExtremeWrestling.com’s “key contributors”. Various experts have added some background information, beyond that which USPW has provided on their new signees, each in regards to wrestlers from their particular fields of knowledge. TEW.com Note: Trask has barely been seen on USPW Television over the last 6-9 months, and having spent only half a year on the independent scene with PSW, he is seen as a prime example of USPW stockpiling talent. He will at least get the opportunity to showcase himself on this new show, and if the rumours of a “brand split” in USPW are true, he will return to the big time having learned from some of the greatest wrestling minds.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: BISON is a huge get for USPW, and this is somewhat surprising given how highly regarded he is by PGHW. It would be easy to put this move purely down to the money he could potentially make as a member of the USPW roster, but a deeper look reveals another reason. Just last week, the Japanese wrestling scene was shocked by news that Brute Kikuchi (BISON’s career long partner) would be joining BHOTWG from PGHW, breaking up the Glory Tag Crown Champions for the first time in over a decade. Surprisingly, BISON was not offered a deal by BHOTWG, with the promotion interested in Brute as a singles competitor only. PGHW were reportedly intending to give BISON Yano a push as a singles competitors once the team dropped the titles, but he has obviously decided it was time to step out of his comfort zone. A huge risk for a fairly established name in Japan, BISON has all the tools required to be a huge success in USPW.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Well established in his home nation, it seems unlikely that Captain Wrestling II will be happy to work in what is essentially a “development territory” for too long. Like a number of the other signings (BISON Yano for instance), it seems likely that these guys will work in FTR for a short period of time, to grow accustomed to the “USPW Style” and familiarise themselves with their new home country, before moving up to the main USPW roster. When he does get to USPW, it will be interesting to see how a patriotic foreigner goes over with the company’s fans. However, as USPW continues to become more of a global presence, having proven ratings draws from around the world is certainly an astute move. <hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Captain USA seems to have a job for life with USPW, and given he seems to have little else to offer, the “mascot” of FTR seems like the ideal role. While he was never the most talented in the ring, Lou can certainly teach the new talents a thing or two about commitment to a gimmick, and how to engage an audience.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Formerly of AAA, Christy Higgins was a big prospect for the promotion, and was one of the performers most affected by their closure in 2017. A former AAA Tag Team Champion with Sarah Taylor, it is great to see Higgins land on her feet. She has spent two years working very hard and reportedly greatly improving, while looking for her next big break in the business. She will be a great addition to the USPW roster, and her former partner joining the company in the future would not be a great surprise, given her success as “Little Miss Perfect” in QAW.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Drebin is a pretty new face in the wrestling scene, but did make waves quite quickly due to his incredible look. Heavily protected in EWA, the company is said to be very upset to lose him, and the perception of USPW over in Berlin is not a positive one. The price of USPW’s expansion has already been felt by the US independent promotions, but there is a concern in Europe (and I guess the world over) that this is just the start of what they have planned.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: A former CGC World Champion, and a record 5-time DAVE Unified Champion, USPW haven’t had to exaggerate too much when putting across what a great mind for the business Eric Tyler has. His work with Sean Deeley in CGC is seen as the best example of him turning a midcard competitor into a main event star, and seeing where “The Shooter” is today, little more testimony is needed. His work in PSW has similarly helped shape the careers of a number of guys who have passed through their doors, and it’s no surprise that a number of PSW alumni have also joined USPW FTR with him.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: The only surprise about Ernest Youngman signing a big contract is that it hasn’t come sooner. “The Assassin of the Squared Circle” has been one of the indie scene’s most talked about talents for quite a few years now, but has kicked on recently and became the PSW Champion this past summer. SWF and TCW had both apparently been keeping tabs on him for quite some time, but USPW are once again first to the punch.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Another name heavily linked with big-money contracts in recent years, it is surprising that USPW is the company who made the move for Fro Sure. Smaller than the average USPW performer, this move could limit Fro Sure’s ability to move up the card, but is much deserved for the solid all round performer. His main selling point is his charisma and star quality, and whether he ever makes it to the main event level or not, Fro Sure will be a popular addition to the USPW roster. As far as the company he is leaving, the hardcore GSW fans are said to be very unhappy with Fro Sure “selling out”, and with him still advertised for next month’s “Anarchy” show, it is unlikely to be a happy ending, to what has been a great career out on the West Coast.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: While he has never pulled up any trees in his appearances on American Wrestling, Fedora is very young, and was highly thought of before being lost in the USPW shuffle. FTR could be his chance to break out, and with experience of working the USPW TV style, he may have an advantage over the majority of the other roster members.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: USPW’s description of Higa actually downplays her ability, and suggesting she isn’t at the level of Alicia is fairly laughable. This move is pretty surprising, and given many saw this as a breakout year for Higa, fairly disappointing. Alicia Strong is forever going to be the centerpiece of the USPW Women’s Division, but if Higa is happy to pick up a cheque and play second fiddle, more power to her. Fans will miss her, but from reports about her attitude, she won’t be missed by her fellow competitors.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Hellcat is another interesting signing, given the reputation she has for rubbing people up the wrong way and being difficult to work with. Despite her attitude, she is clearly a strong performer, and is a great natural heel. If the security of a big-money contract manages to curb her temper, she could do very good things in USPW.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: While Apollo has his weaknesses, and lacks finesse in-terms of his technique in the ring, he is exactly the type of performer you’d expect to see USPW bring in. His team with Kid San Juan has been very successful in FCW, but long-term you’d think the company sees more in Island Boy Apollo.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Another guy who has been “sent down” from the main roster, he - like a few others - had a huge amount of buzz before being lost in the USPW shuffle. From what he showed during his short spell on the indies, this could be a great move for Jackson, and the increased spotlight could see him realise the potential that has been wasted so far in USPW.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: This names come a little bit out of nowhere, and not much footage exists of Patterson. Taking his age and ability into account, this feels like USPW looking to get in there before anybody else, in order to completely shape the performer. Like a few other names they’ve picked up, it appears that alongside established indie names, the company also want to build some stars from scratch.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Previously known as James Chester on the indies, and Jimmy Chipolata in USPW, this name change interestingly sees Rich Money’s protege take on his mentor’s real life surname. A plucky underdog when featured sparingly on USPW American Wrestling, it looks like a character change will accompany the change of scenery for Jimmy, who is expected to have a hugely successful USPW career.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Given the lack of female competitors brought into FTR, Joanna Silver being one of the first hires is a pretty surprising move. While she has a good look, and works hard, there are a number of other women on the independent scene who are much more capable than Joanna.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Given the major success of her podcast, most thought that J-Ro was done with day-to-day work within the wrestling industry, and with raising a child on top of that, she had said as much on “Behind The Curtain”. USPW were said to be very keen to get her to sign on the dotted line, and have obviously made an offer that was too good to refuse. The highly respected former AAA Femme Fetale Champion’s podcast proves that she very much still has her finger on the pulse, and along with the trainer’s role in FTR, she is also the first confirmed member of Pablo Rodriguez’s “Recruitment Team”. Her influence in USPW is clearly going to be pretty strong, and she will obviously be making the money to match it!<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Jones has been signed for one obvious reason, and his look does set him apart from almost everybody working today. A huge man with a great athletic background, his work with FCW was bound to get him noticed. If he has any natural ability for wrestling, he’s undoubtedly going to make a lot of money in that company, and of all the signings they’ve made, I’d bet USPW management are most excited about this one.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: The description itself says a lot about how the company sees Kid San Juan, and while his past as a backyarder is something of a meme online, he is a talented performer. In USPW, he’ll likely be there to keep Island Boy Apollo company, before the big man moves on up the card. Nonetheless, considering his background and how much improvement he has made, Kid San Juan signing a USPW contract of any description is pretty remarkable on its own.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: This is a unsurprising move, another indie guy who has been talked about within SWF, TCW and USPW circles for a long-time. His runs in IPW and then FCW have seen him come on leaps and bounds, and he’ll fit right in at USPW. He’s slightly smaller than you’d expect from an USPW wrestler, but is in really good shape and has the workrate required to be a huge success. Dedicated and affable, Kip Keenan is a future star in the making… provided he doesn’t get lost in the familiar “USPW shuffle”.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: La Estrella has been on EILL’s radar for some time, and initial reports have suggested they’re very disappointed to miss out on his signature. Another example of EILL taking their influence in Mexico for granted, one or two of USPW’s new signings will certainly serve as a wake up call for the biggest promotion in the country. This is another sign of Pablo Rodriguez’s international influence, and he’s going to have particular pull when bringing stars “destined” for EILL to the United States. This is unlikely to improve his relationship with Jorge Ibanez Jr, but nothing will be further from his mind as he continues to build the USPW FTR roster.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: This one is a big hit for VWA, who have built their company around Landon for quite a few years now. Of course it must be difficult to turn down a move to the biggest company in the world, but that won’t sweeten the pill for Albert Thorpe, who has invested a lot into Mallory and will be bitterly disappointed to lose him.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Leaf is an unspectacular performer at this point in his career, but is very young and could develop. At the moment, he lacks something that makes him stand out, and was a fairly puzzling acquisition when USPW brought him in last summer.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> <hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Logan Wolfsbane has been a huge star for PSW over the last couple of years, and it was a matter of time before he signed up with one of the big boys. He is everything that the USPW.com biography says he is, and is one of the signings who has the best chance of success in FTR and beyond. A solid get for USPW.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Perhaps a signing to keep Captain Wrestling II company, Monday Next was a standout performer in RAW’s early years, but struggled as the show grew larger. His heat with Vincent Victory was a huge story in Australian wrestling a couple of years back, and it's quite surprising to see him land on his feet in USPW. Nonetheless, he’s pretty well known all over the country, and that seems to be USPW’s priority with this “global expansion” they’ve got going on.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Another one of the USPW signings from the last year that initially seemed pretty pointless, but now make sense. It’s clear that USPW has been preparing to establish this development program for some time, and with those names already on the books, the transition will be a little bit easier. Malone was a big deal in 4C before they closed down, but it’d still be pretty surprising if he becomes anything major in USPW.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Having left the country within the last year, it's clear that a big part of Pablo’s recruitment strategy has been bringing in those names from his home nation who would have been on his radar when booking EILL. It’s another surprising name that EILL have passed up on over the years, but with the question marks over OLLIE’s future, it’s probably the best time for Mr. Lucha III to make the move. USPW appears to be looking to diversify their roster with this program, so while skeptical about where he fits in with the company long-term, there is a feeling that guys like Mr. Lucha can be the driving force behind a change in the company’s priorities.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: As they said, not much is known about this kid, and it’s fairly surprising that he’s made it onto USPW’s radar with such little experience.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Like Pepper, Jack is pretty new on the scene, and as such there is little more to add. TEW.com Note: Considered the weakest of the USPW referees, some will be glad that he will no longer be seen on Wednesday nights. However, his multilingual talents will no doubt be of great use to the FTR roster. It seems “referee and official translator” may better describe his role.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: One of USPW’s go to “enhancement talents” when running shows in the midwest over the last few years, Roger has clearly earned enough trust as a solid hand to get a chance in FTR. Again, his size is likely to hold him back from becoming a huge star, but this is a great opportunity for somebody who has worked extremely hard to make a name for himself on the independent scene.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: One of the major casualties of AAA going out of business, Sabrina was one half of the company’s last Tag Team Champions, and looked set for big things had the company survived. Having worked hard since then, and improved by a great deal, Sabrina Wells has the tools required to be a valuable asset to the USPW roster.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Texas Hangman is a really limited performer, but that hasn’t ever stopped someone getting over in USPW. He is the perfect project for them, and at just 21 years old he’s certain to become one of the next generation of monster heels in USPW.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: This one will hurt Sam Keith, coming just weeks after he publicly spoke out against USPW’s practises. His views obviously haven’t spread to his roster, as one of his “pet projects” departs to USPW. Another smaller guy, The Architect has recently put on some muscle mass, and looks ready to take the next step in his career.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Known throughout his career as El Toro De Oro Jr., USPW’s decision to change his name is somewhat strange, given the lineage his mask has, but as a signing it is an astute bit of business. EILL and OLLIE will likely be kicking themselves for not acting sooner, and if he adapts well to life north of the border, his “Gore” finishing move, and accompanying theatrics alone, may be enough to get him over with the USPW crowd. There are question marks about his ability on the microphone, but his charisma and in-ring style should carry him to some success.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> TEW.com Note: Another signing out of left-field, that shows the depth of USPW’s scouting, Yuta Isono has only recently begun to make a name for himself in Japan. Getting him into the FTR roster before he signed with any Japanese promotion may be a smart decision, but Yuta Isono has plenty of developing left to do, and may have been better served “discovering himself” in his home nation, before making a big move.<hr color=red><hr color=blue>So all in all, a pretty comprehensive swoop of available independent talent from USPW, and not only from the United States. There’s no question that this is only the beginning of what the company have planned, and with the strength of the rumours behind them potentially having a brand split in the near future, the independent promotions had better be ready for even more of a raid from the Reverie owned company. This has of course opened up the debate once again, about the growing influence that USPW has in the wrestling industry. While more wrestlers being signed to guaranteed money, long-term contracts is a good thing, many feel this is “good for wrestlers, bad for wrestling”. At the moment, there is still a thriving independent scene in the United States, and with new talent popping up all over the place, it can feel like new stars will always emerge where spots have been vacated. However, it would be naive to believe this was a sustainable process, and there will come a tipping point. Whether more companies take the stance of the COTT remains to be seen, but reports this week that the world’s oldest promotion OLLIE will now serve partly as a development territory for EILL, shows the growing gap between the large promotions and the smaller ones. OLLIE is an iconic promotion with great history, but their struggles are not unique within the business. The choice of relying on the big companies or going out of business, could be an issue facing more promotions in the future. However, with USPW, it’s unlikely Reverie will outwardly extend the hand of support to any promotion in that situation. What we know for sure, is that USPW FTR will begin airing from the beginning of next month, exclusively on Reverie’s add-on subscription service “USPW+”. The tapings for the shows will take place on the first Monday of every month, with four episodes recorded per day.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> Thanks, Lloyd yeah it's a huge roster, and a brand split is definitely in my mind. I have a time frame and general roster and brand styles kind of laid out, but it's about 6 months off (I'm thinking after Independence Day Slam, to give a nice fresh start after the Season Finale). I think adding a decent amount of women would be ideal before then, but as you say, there's already a good foundation. Developmental felt necessary too, and hopefully I can keep poaching all the up and coming names from around the world and have a conveyor belt of indie darlings to get lost in the USPW midcard shuffle Cheers, I think Alicia is my favourite to book at the moment. I was a little put off by her being heel when I saw the new database, but I think the parallel between her and Charlotte has helped, even though I'm not sure they're being booked too similar. It's at least a good base to work off for her as a heel. Champion being back will definitely help ratings, and having lost pop from every show I think, we've needed him!
  2. Another great episode, very unique and I can't remember seeing anything like it before. Without spoiling anything, I loved how it all came together and had a good arch for the hour. Wasn't where I expected Swoop's story to go at all, but felt like the type of thing you could only see in RAW. No other company could have done something like that, but it worked really well!
  3. Just catching up with the last two, Steele is an excellent psycho. "George keeps on dancing, but sobs." "Oh so does that explain how we can all be here drinking into the night after only just being in that tag match." Loved the whole segment at the bar. Intriguing ending. Big win for the WorldStar. Swoop's abduction was a great cliff hanger. Glad I could go straight into the next one. Don't think I've mentioned yet, but I like the match write ups. Furthering stories all the time, even if just of the individuals. Having set up Swoop as the main event everpresent, his absence felt like a big deal. The Cluesome Twosome are great, catchy song and that segment was brilliant. It felt like a gta cut scene or something. Such a great story developing, and I can't wait to see what comes next with it. Liked how you worked Frogue accepting the challenge with the other roster members commenting on him being a coward. Really liking Rod Sullivan, the speed dating was well done too. Such a great idea. Might be an out there prediction, but I'm wondering if the Swoop & Croft storylines might cross paths. I guess we'll find out soon
  4. <p>Yeah, that's what I was hoping, but if it's working as intended I don't know.</p><p> </p><p> I think at the very least there should be a block on signing an exclusive deal shorter than their current non-exclusive deal. I don't see how I can sign an exclusive contract with somebody who will <em>never</em> be exclusive with me. Hopefully that is a fix that can be implemented, and ideally I'd like to see there be a block on signing an exclusive contract with anybody with a non-exclusive deal that is iron-clad.</p><p> </p><p> By signing an iron clad contract (meaning a contract they can't get out of) that is non-exclusive, that working is saying "for a period of 9 months, I will not be exclusive to anybody". But can they can sign an exclusive deal at any time during that deal. The initial replies last night threw me off, but I do think this is something that isn't working correctly.</p>
  5. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Teh_Showtime" data-cite="Teh_Showtime" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49761" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>What happens if you were to sign them on an exclusive, but when you’re at war with the other promotion?<p> </p><p> Would he seriously work for both for years until the first deal ran out?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I just declared war on ROH and then offered a contract to someone with the same deal as above but this person had one year left on the contract. They've signed the exclusive written with me and was available to work immediately, but will stay with ROH on the non-exclusive written for the full year. So yeah, he'll spend a year working for both warring promotions I think.</p><p> </p><p> Just added a user with ROH to double check. He won't resign beyond the 11 months obviously because the other deal prevents it, but still has the time left on his deal.</p>
  6. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Remianen" data-cite="Remianen" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49761" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>You are misunderstanding the mechanic.<p> </p><p> All ironclad does is lock him in for the duration of the contract. That's it. He can sign an exclusive deal with whoever he wants,<span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong> but he won't be able to join them until the written ironclad contract expires</strong></span>. He has prior commitments he has to fulfill and when that's done, <strong><em>then</em></strong> he'll be exclusive to you.</p></div></blockquote><p> I assume by this you mean he won't be exclusive to me until the written contract expires? Because as far as I can tell he can work for me right away.</p><p> </p><p> I thought in the trial version it worked differently, and I'd been blocked from negotiating in the same circumstances. I must be misremembering.</p><p> </p><p> So I guess not a bug, just a shame I won't be able to recreate the type of contracts I'd like to.</p><p> </p><p> Does anyone know if there is any way I could set up a contract to stop WWE/TNa from signing him to an exclusive deal within the first 9 months, but also allow him to work elsewhere (such as PWG)?</p>
  7. <p>I have no problem with the person working multiple promotions, but it just seems odd to me that they can sign an exclusive contract with me, and then stay in ROH for the next 8 months. I've signed him on an exclusive contract, but it isn't exclusive.</p><p> </p><p> I thought the idea of iron-cladding a contract was to stop them signing exclusive deals elsewhere? I know he'll work out the rest of his deal with ROH then leave, but it just seems strange he'll have this contract with me from January until September that isn't accurate. Theoretically I could sign him to a six month exclusive written deal that would never be exclusive.</p>
  8. Patch 1.02 Before starting a new game and I set this as someone's contract in the database: Despite it being ironclad and written, I can sign him to an exclusive written contract with TNA from the start of the game (the contract in the image is ROH). Shouldn't I be unable to do this since he has an iron clad contract elsewhere? Upon signing the deal, his other deal (PWG) went to 28 days, but he'll see out the 8 months 3 weeks ROH contract. Meaning I'll have him on an "exclusive" written contract until then, but he won't be exclusive for 9 months.

  10. Really liked the segment with ODB & HBICs and the follow up on Impact, and Poison being banned from ringside <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I can see Scarlet Envy taking the titles at Sacrifice. Mickie vs. Flash is going to be great too <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> another really good couple of shows
  11. USPW American Wrestling - Week 3, January 2020 USPW American Wrestling “From The United States… To The World!” Date: Wednesday, Week 3, January 2020 - Location: Isaak Road Arena in Baltimore, Maryland - Attendance: 15,000 [American Wrestling begins with a video package, looking back at Nicky Champion’s return to USPW last week, his first appearance since Thanksgiving Thunder. Champion returned as he was confirmed as the USPW “Male Wrestler of the Decade”, and confronted the man previously believed to have ended his career. Champion had already thanked the fans for voting him as the winner, but ended the show with the same two words to the man who was the other half of “Rivalry of the Decade”, Steve Frehley. Going nose to nose with “The Destroyer”, Nicky Champion curiously told the man who defeated him at USPW’s biggest show of the year, “thank you”.]<hr color=red><hr color=blue>[Out of that video package, the music of Nicky Champion hit, with “Hawkeye” making his first full entrance since that night in November that many feared was his last. The commentators welcomed viewers to the show, but the focus and attention was all on Nicky as he returned to a USPW ring.] [Champion was handed a microphone, but took the chance to take in his surroundings. From the ring to the reaction to the camera pointed at him, it was as if he was experiencing them all again for the first time. Before he spoke, Champion took a deep breath. Belle Bryden noted it was extremely rare to see him show any sign of nerves.] Nicky Champion (humbled): Thank you… from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Each and every single one of you… thank you. [Nicky composes himself, taking a moment to look around once again. Brock Cornish encourages Champion on commentary, saying “they’re all here for you, Hawkeye!”] Nicky Champion (emotionally overwhelmed): Thank you for being here, when I wasn’t. Thank you for watching this show, when I couldn’t. Thank you for picking me up, when I didn’t think I could get up! [Nicky once again pauses to compose himself.] Nicky Champion (with a tremor in his voice): Because I thought Thanksgiving Thunder was the end. (Nicky pauses for several seconds.) When I got back from the hospital, I thought that was it. I told my wife that I couldn’t do it anymore, and for the first time since this show debuted I missed an episode. Not only was I not with my brothers and sisters in the back, I didn’t even watch the show on Reverie. Since Thanksgiving Thunder, I haven’t seen one single second of USPW American Wrestling. I just couldn’t do it… [While bearing his soul to the fans, Nicky Champion becomes angry with himself, perhaps feeling that he was letting people down by avoiding USPW.] Nicky Champion: And maybe I should have dusted myself down, got back on the horse and came back to work. If I had, maybe Running Wolf could be Champ now like he deserves to be! But I just couldn’t. Because of one man. Steve Frehley. [Even saying the name appears to cause Nicky Champion physical pain. He once more takes a moment to compose himself.] Nicky Champion: Every time I thought about coming back. Every time I thought about lacing up the boots. The voice in my head told me, “you can’t beat him, Nicky”. I sat under the learning tree of Sam Strong for over a decade, and despite everything he taught me, I gave up. And the cycle continued… Until I got a phone call. From James Justice. And as Justice told me about the USPW Decade Awards, a light bulb went off. A eureka moment where I realised that one match doesn’t define me… one man doesn’t define me! The only thing that defines me, is that when I get knocked down… I get up and fight until I overcome that obstacle! The Sneer Corporation. Bruce The Giant. Peter Valentine. Tyson Baine. Rich Money. Jumbo Jackson. Joss Thompson. Every single one of them stood in front of me, and every single one of them eventually… eventually, went down! So I came home. For one thing. Steve Frehley. For one simple challenge that I know The Destroyer won’t be able to reject. Stars, Stripes & Slams. One more time, Frehley vs. Champion. And if I can’t beat you Steve. If you prove to be the one obstacle I can’t get past… I will leave USPW! [Nicky puts the microphone down, and put his head down with it. Having dropped a bombshell, Nicky daren’t look up to see the reaction of the USPW audience. Instead, without raising his head once, Champion walks back up the ramp, and out of sight.]<hr color=red><hr color=blue>[Following Nicky Champion’s heartfelt speech, and the shocking challenge he laid down to Steve Frehley, the commentators got the chance to welcome viewers to the show properly. Brock and Belle were taken aback by the proposal made by Nicky.] Brock Cornish (uncharacteristically unfocussed): Welcome back everybody to USPW American Wrestling, and well… that was one way to kick off the show! Belle Bryden (concerned): That’s right, Brock, Nicky Champion is back… but for how long? Nicky Champion vs. Steve Frehley at Stars, Stripes & Slams, and if Nicky doesn’t win - he leaves USPW! Emily McQueen: Chalk another one up to “The Career Destroyer”. Steve Frehley has done it again! It’s been a… Brock Cornish (interrupting): Hold on, Emily, I’m hearing that there’s something going down in the back… (pausing to listen to his headset) we’ve got a camera back there, lets see what’s happening...<hr color=red><hr color=blue>[in the back, we see Steve Frehley stood over Nicky Champion, just a few inches away from the curtain on the other side of the entranceway.] [“The Career Destroyer” has wasted no time in taking Nicky Champion down, and despite understandably feeble attempts to stop him by staff members, Steve Frehley continues to lay his boots into the midsection of “Hawkeye”. Frehley shows no sign of letting up until Running Wolf burst on the scene, and gets between them.] [While Frehley is by no means afraid of Running Wolf, he has no intention of getting into anything with him at this time. Wolf stands stoic, guarding his best friend, who is in a fair amount of discomfort on the ground. Frehley is unsure how to react, and eventually backs off. He does have word parting words for Wolf though.] Steve Frehley: When your boy finally wakes up, tell him I accept the challenge!<hr color=red><hr color=blue> <hr color=red><hr color=blue>[Cutting to the back, Running Wolf is shown entering the office of James Justice. The Commissioner shakes hands with Wolf, but he is keen to get down to business.] [Running Wolf tells James Justice that the planned Main Event of tonight’s show between him and Sterling Whitlock, he wants it changed. In fact, he demands that The Commissioner gives him Steve Frehley in the Main Event. Justice is unsure about Wolf’s desire to fight Frehley this close to a World Championship match at Stars, Stripes & Slam, but Wolf won’t back down. Justice asks him if he’s 100% sure about this, and Wolf insists he is. In that case, Justice thinks it sounds like a great Main Event, and makes the match!]<hr color=red><hr color=blue> <hr color=red><hr color=blue>[Enygma is once again shown in a dark, mysterious location. Having been absent from American Wrestling for a while, we continue to gain insight into his current mindstate.] [This time we see that Enygma is in a place of fire and brimstone, despite being trapped within the four walls of the room. Flames surround the former USPW World Champion, who appears to be in his own personal hell. Unable to compete, or even see the light of day, Enygma appears to have lost all sense of his personal identity.]<hr color=red><hr color=blue> <hr color=red><hr color=blue> USPW American Wrestling - Reverie Exclusive - “From The United States… To The World!” <hr color=red><hr color=blue>[beginning the second hour of the show, Rich Money is shown in the back, with Lionel Greenwood holding a microphone to his face.] Rich Money: Ladies and Gentlemen, tonight it was my intention - as World Champion of United States Pro Wrestling - to address my Stars, Stripes & Slams challenger in the middle of the ring. Earlier tonight, circumstances changed, when Running Wolf pulled out of a scheduled match with Sterling Whitlock, to challenge Steve Frehley. James Justice allowed this last minute change to be made, which not only punishes Sterling Whitlock for circumstances out of his control, but undermines the USPW World Championship match set for Stars, Stripes & Slams. Suppose I were to “demand” to face Regular Joe at that event, would our Commissioner allow that? This is of course just one example of major missteps made by James Justice within two weeks of his new role, and I will continue to shed light on these shortcomings until USPW management takes action against him. I am however, committed to my scheduled appearance, and as such, Rich Money will appear following tonight’s Main Event. I will address Running Wolf later tonight… what’s left of him, at least.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> <hr color=red><hr color=blue>[in the back, Danny Jillefski spoke to the Womens Champion Jaime Quine, to get her thoughts on Melody & Sara Marie both receiving title shots at Stars, Stripes & Slams.] [Jaime Quine said that she didn’t agree with the call, but she understands that it’s because she is the hottest trending topic on everybody's lips right now. Everybody would love to get a piece of “The Influencer”, but next Sunday, Melody & Sara are going to have to share the suffering… and they’re going to have to like it!]<hr color=red><hr color=blue> <hr color=red><hr color=blue>[A video package recapped the segment we saw recapped earlier, once again putting over Nicky Champion’s return to USPW American Wrestling last week. This time, the commentators spoke over additional footage, including parts of Nicky Champion’s emotional promo earlier tonight, and the attack he suffered at the hands of Steve Frehley. The segment promotes the Main Event of tonight’s show, as Running Wolf later challenged Steve Frehley to a one on one match. While Wolf has a Stars, Stripes & Slams match to focus on himself, he wants revenge for his best friend, against “The Career Destroyer”.]<hr color=red><hr color=blue>[Heading to the back, Rich Money is seen addressing the rest of “The Business”, who are in the group’s private locker room.] [Rich Money says that he’s sure that Steve Frehley is going to deal with Running Wolf tonight, but if he doesn’t, the Champion has a trick up his sleeve. Tonight, he’s just going to talk to Wolf, and for that, he doesn’t need them to be here. Rich hands Sterling his car keys, and tells the group to take the rest of the night off, as a reward for their good work recently. The group head off, but Rich tells Elizabeth Cartier to stay. He apologises to Dusty DuCont, who he says is going to have to wait to see her tonight, because she’s staying with him.]<hr color=red><hr color=blue>[While it had been mentioned throughout the night, the official “launch trailer” for Reverie’s “USPW Plus” add-on subscription aired before the Main Event.] [The video package put over the price of the service, the “Full USPW Library” that was available, and the USPW FTR “original content” that would be coming very soon. The trailer featured a number of iconic moments from USPW history, with clips featuring Sam Strong, Nicky Champion, Bruce The Giant, Rich Money and more used to promote the service.]<hr color=red><hr color=blue>

Glad you're enjoying Team 3D & Rhino, it's kind of a case of me not knowing 100% what to do with them, and letting that play out and see what comes of it. I do have a bit of direction for them, but that could change at any point. http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=545504 They do feel too good to just bin off, especially when they're so much better than everybody else in certain aspects. I think as long as the focus stays with the youngsters, there is no harm in maybe keeping them around. I have ideas for both Sting and Foley, but wasn't 100% sold on doing them. The consensus seem to be to make the most of them, while I can, so I'm thinking I'll go ahead. I quite like that and will keep it in mind if/when I do decide to bring Sting back on screen. They pretty much did middle aged and crazy Sting during the Hogan Era, so it might not be too far off of a comparison

  15. Monday, February Week 4, 2020 - Episode #8 of “Tomorrow’s Stars… Tonight!” Monday, February Week 4, 2020 - Episode #8 of “Tomorrow’s Stars… Tonight!” Having shown a little concern about the issue in recent weeks, Forrest Ratzloff officially signed a two year extension to his SWF development contract this week, and will remain down here in Rhode Island for the time being. This is great news for our Champion, only topped by the roster’s delight when Lucinda Lush brought her new puppy in to show everyone. I’m not sure this would have gone down quite as well with Christian Faith and Skull DeBones back in our day. That said, Jack Bruce would have probably taken it home with him. Times change, and of course, even stubborn old timers like myself must move with them.<hr color=black> <hr color=black> Segment #1: Having made their entrances for the opening match, Bryan Jewett and Zap Powerson appeared to be having issues before the bell had even rung. With the referee struggling to control them, RIPW Champion Forrest Ratzloff intervened. He told both men to calm down, and to settle it in the ring. Lisa Bowen didn’t appreciate Forrest’s input. Rating: 43 Booker’s Note: This storyline continues to develop, and we further wanted to push Forrest Ratzloff as a figurehead of the roster and a leader of the locker room. His decision to step in on behalf of the struggling referee reflects this, and shows the respect Bryan and Zap have for him. Similarly, we hope that by establishing Forrest in this role, we maximise the potential heat on whoever it was who took him out. Forrest did a great job putting this over, and is one of the few people we wholly trust to put his own spin on things.<hr color=black> Match #1: Bryan Jewett bt. Zap Powerson in 9:19 with a Fisherman’s Suplex. While the match was heated, it was contested in a completely fair manner. Rating: 18 Segment #2: Despite their apparent personal issues, Bryan and Zap shook hands after the match. Powerson was initially reluctant, but did accept the gesture after looking to Bowen on the outside for guidance. Rating: 13 Booker’s Note: Lisa did some good work at ringside, and helped mask the fact that the action wasn’t great. Thankfully, the crowd were pretty into the match, and they seem to like both of these guys. The face vs. face dynamic was a little bit different, but the post-match segment cleared up any animosity between the two. For now.<hr color=black> Segment #3: Heading to the back, after the announcers hear of an “incident”, we see Deever Arnold found out cold. Whether this is the same attacker as the one that got Forrest Ratzloff is unclear, but interestingly Deever’s heated rival Warwick Good is first on the scene. Good feigns concern for Arnold, and half-heartedly called for medical assistance. Rating: 27 Booker’s Note: Having crossed most of our storylines with this major Ratzloff attack angle (to varying degrees), there is an intentional attempt to create confusion with the storyline, although hopefully not too much that it is difficult to follow. Various open ended questions have been asked (such as “was Hellion actually the guy who attacked Ratzloff?”) during the storyline, and this is another one. By the end, a large portion of the roster will be considered “suspects”, and this will hopefully engage fans before the eventual reveal.<hr color=black> Match #2: All Night Party bt. The Wrecking Balls in 7:52 when Simmons pinned Crusher following a Crazy Driver. Rating: 23 Segment #4: All Night Party celebrated in their unique way, getting the fans involved as much as they could, as they went all around the ringside area. Rating: 15 Booker’s Note: Four decent performances in this one, and pretty much as you’d expect from the workers involved. Stevie and Clubber had a couple of missteps here and there, but not too much to hurt the match. The crowd got into this more as it went on, and were happy with the victory for All Night Party.<hr color=black> Match #3: Rocky Weatherfield bt. Barron Royal in 7:17 following an Implant DDT. Rating: 24 Booker’s Note: As usual, Rocky delivered here and Drew Danson was good at ringside offering support to his partner. The match was decent, but really happened to set up the post-match angle. Segment #5: As Drew Danson joined Rocky in the ring to celebrate, Southern Comfort came down to the ring, and laid them out. The RIPW Tag Team Champions were left down in the ring, outnumbered by a group who clearly have their eyes on the titles currently held by The Sunshine Connection. Rating: 21 Booker’s Note: Southern Comfort and particularly Hoss & Samson, haven’t been booked particularly strongly in the first two months of the year, but recent weeks have looked to change that. A win last week, in a six man tag involving Drew & Rocky, followed by this dominant attack hopefully gets them back towards where they need to be. The trio will always be a threat with their numbers advantage over much of the roster, but there’s still work ahead in terms of presenting them as a reasonable threat to the Champions.<hr color=black> Segment #6: The commentators send to the back, and having seen Deever Arnold laid out earlier in the night, we now see that Bryan Jewett has been attacked too! While nobody saw who took him down, Bryan is being checked on by the backstage Doctor. Rating: 15 Booker’s Note: Making it clear that the “attacks” are now an on-going issue, this segment slightly leans into the theory of Zap Powerson being involved, despite the two men seemingly making up earlier. It also confirms a clear pattern to the assaults, with the company’s top babyfaces all being targeted.<hr color=black> The Main Event: Deever Arnold bt. Willie LaRoux in 10:30 by DQ as a result of Son of Vengeance getting involved in the match. Therefore, Willie LaRoux is still the RIPW USA Champion. The Magic Boys had also come out to cause a distraction, but when the plan crumbled, Willie ordered the easiest route to retaining his title, an intentional DQ! Rating: 32 Segment #7: After the match, as the commentators put over a terrible night for Deever Arnold, Infamous headed to the back having got the job done. Forrest Ratzloff came down to check on his friend, and had some words for Willie & co. as they crossed paths on the ramp. Rating: 17 Booker’s Note: This was a really good match from two of the strongest performers on our roster. They worked really well together, and this programme between the two definitely has legs as a result. The disqualification allows us to extend the rivalry, while hopefully putting some heat on the weasley Willie LaRoux. Forrest’s appearance at the end of the show, once again puts over his unique position on the roster, and shows him to be a “true Champion” who is interested in more than just his own career. This is a direction we will continue to take with Forrest Ratzloff, despite it not necessarily being one he can take to the big leagues with him.<hr color=black> Overall Rating: 31Attendance: 64 (-87) The show increased our popularity in Rhode Island <hr color=black>Final Thoughts: Despite a severe drop off in attendance for this show, we were happy with how it came out overall. The main event particularly stood out as one of the better matches we’ve seen since I came down to Rhode Island. Storylines are finding their feet, and Ratzloff is doing well in his role at the top of the card. All in all, there are plenty of reasons to be positive, at the end of my second month as a part of the RIPW development system.
  16. Seems to be the case for the majority of people, yeah.
  17. <p>Playing as USPW, I can only sign a deal for a new show on Reverie as On Demand, but for the show I already have I can adjust the time slot from On Demand to Prime Time. Is that a bug I should report, or is there a reason it is only showing On Demand when negotiating, but allowing me to switch to Prime Time immedietely after?</p><p> </p><p> Should Reverie be only On Demand, and therefore adjust timeslot not be available. Or should I be able to negotiate a time slot on the initial negotiation? 18. USPW Announce “FTR” Development Programme, Huge Investment Expected USPW Announce “FTR” Development Programme, Huge Investment Expected Reverie launch “USPW+”, an add-on subscription featuring the company’s entire back catalogue! Immediately following USPW American Wrestling going off the air tonight, Reverie held a “USPW Decade Awards Show: Afterparty”, having promoted a huge announcement set to take place on the 15 minute broadcast. James Justice addressed viewers to open up the show, and spoke about how USPW had tonight looked back at the last 10 years of the company, but they had done so in order to look towards the future right now. Justice would then go on to announce the USPW “FTR Development Programme”, with Reverie making huge investments in securing the future of United States Pro Wrestling. TotalExtremeWrestling.com understands that this would function similarly to SWF’s RIPW, but would be run centrally by USPW, and not as its own entity as SWF has allowed RIPW to be. As well as the “child promotion”, the announcement heavily implied that USPW would be working on creating “home-grown” stars, with the ill-fated USPW “Training Camp” perhaps set to reopen after 16 years of inactivity. While the programme famously only produced two competitors who would go on to appear on USPW TV, it was responsible for nurturing the talents of Nicky Champion, and has paid back the company’s investment in it ten fold as a result. Details on this are at the moment unclear, but a further announcement is expected over the next week. It was also announced during the show that Reverie were launching “USPW+”, an add-on subscription service available to their worldwide audience, that would not only feature all content produced by “USPW FTR”, but also the entire USPW back catalogue. Until now, “collections” were cycled in and out of availability, with the on-demand service providing limited “Classic USPW Content” at any one time. Now, USPW fans will be able to relive any event in the history of the company, at an additional cost of $5.99 per month. While huge news for USPW and their fans, this move once again raises questions and concerns around the increasing influence and growth shown by the company, which continues at a rate not in line with the rest of the industry. “FTR” may be USPW’s first foray into the “talent farming” system, but some fear that they are merely “dipping their toes in the water”, and could realistically set up similar programmes all around the world. Reverie is one of the largest broadcasting platforms on the planet, and their global presence has moved USPW into territory that no Pro Wrestling company in history has ever stepped into. A large audience in every major wrestling market gives them unprecedented coverage, and with reports they’ve already reached out to a number of major international names about joining USPW FTR, talks of a desired “Global Monopoly” may not be far from the truth. Earlier this month Sam Keith and The Confederation of the Territories spoke out against the practises of USPW’s parent company, and if the apparent invasion into foreign territories continues, it won’t be long before promotions around the world share those sentiments. Reverie have continued to distance themselves from the rest of the industry, and show no sign of being deterred in their goal of making the USPW brand synonymous with Pro-Wrestling. TotalExtremeWrestling.com will be first with any update on USPW’s FTR “Development Programme”, with a number of major updates expected over the next seven days.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> Pablo is such a good guy, I almost feel bad for him working for USPW. But here we are They're just trying to provide the most entertaining product for the fans. What's so bad about that? Thankfully, I have a fair bit of time on my hands at the minute And Reverie most certainly the villain Thanks, I feel like with the overwhelming nature of the roster, it is going to take me a while to find my feet with all the different characters, but I'm glad a few are sticking out already. Alicia is the most important member of the roster (along with Nicky) to get right I think. Everything on both the men's and women's side of the rosters are built around them (or will be, when Nicky is back to his old self ) so they're the main focus when making any plans going forward.

  21. USPW American Wrestling - Week 2, January 2020 USPW American Wrestling “From The United States… To The World!” Date: Wednesday, Week 2, January 2020 - Location: The Dust Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee - Attendance: 15,000 [American Wrestling begins in the office of James Justice. The new Commissioner sits behind his desk, with a briefcase open so that its contents are visible to the viewer.] James Justice: When I got to work today this (points to Briefcase) was on my desk. Courtesy of our honourable World Champion… Rich Money. Now I don’t know if I made myself clear last week, but this isn’t going to work. I’ve put in the hours in that ring, I’ve earned my money legit throughout my career! (Getting fired up) So if you think I’m going to disrespect my brothers and sisters in the locker room, myself or the USPW fans… you’ve got another thing coming! But Rich, I don’t want your money to go to waste… so I made a call earlier, and USPW are going to match every single dollar on this table, and we’re making a huge donation to the “Create-A-Dream Foundation”! [James Justice nods his head, delighted to make the announcement and perhaps a little pleased to get one over on the famously uncharitable World Champion.] James Justice: But you’re not the only one who is trying to work outside of the law, Rich. (Speaking to someone off camera) Send her in… alone. [After James says that Alicia Strong walks into the office. Having won last week’s Main Event, Alicia became the Number One Contender to the USPW Womens Championship. However, she broke a pre-match stipulation that now sees her called into James’ office.] Alicia Strong (tightly wound): Now listen to me James, my father… James Justice (interrupting): Don’t give me that Alicia, I’ve spoken with your father this week, and he’s disgusted with your actions. Alicia Strong (highly strung): Well... tonight is my big night… and I am not going to let you spoil it! I am named Wrestler of the Decade tonight, and then I am going to Stars, Stripes and Slams and I’m becoming the 8-time Womens Champion! James Justice: Maybe… (smirks). Maybe you will win that award tonight, and maybe you will go on to the Stars, Stripes & Slams… but we won’t know either answer, until later tonight. See, Wrestler of the Decade is down to the great USPW fans… but the Number One Contendership, that’s in the hands of those “Muscle Monsters” of yours. [Alicia doesn’t understand, she throws up her hands. Before she can ask any more questions, Justice has an answer.] James Justice: You seemed to think that Gloria & Julliette were part of that match last week, so tonight when they face Melody & Sara Marie… your title shot is on the line. If your girls win, you’re going to Stars, Stripes & Slams. If not, you’ll be in the back watching Melody & Sara Marie challenge Jaime Quine instead... Alicia Strong (furious): You’re not going to get away with this Justice! [Alicia then storms out of the room, slamming the door behind her. James Justice looks satisfied with his first two orders of business for the night, as the opening sequence to the show begins...]<hr color=red><hr color=blue>[Following the title sequence, the commentators welcome viewers to the USPW Decade Awards “Special” of American Wrestling...] Belle Bryden: … that’s right, Brock - and I can’t wait! And not only because I’m up for two awards tonight! Emily McQueen: As if you weren’t insufferable enough already… Brock Cornish: We’ve got four awards to give out tonight, but that is just the tip of the iceberg! Rick Law will go one on one with Steve Frehley in a Last Man Standing match… and Running Wolf will face Rich Money’s bodyguard Charlie Thatcher, as he continues to chase the devious World Champion! Belle Bryden: But first it’s time for the American Dream Battle Royal! I haven’t seen some of these faces in years, but I know our fans will give them a nostalgic “welcome home” to American Wrestling!<hr color=red><hr color=blue>[Once 14 of the 15 USPW alumni had made their entrances for the Battle Royal (to varying pops and occasional bemusement), Joss Thompson came out as seemingly the final entrant. “The Complete Package” had a microphone, and something to say before the match began.] Joss Thompson (arrogant): First things first… I just wanna clear the air. Everybody is thinking it, and no… I’m not like any of these guys. For one, I actually have a job here. (Laughs uncontrollably). And I have both of my original hips… [Joss taps both of his hips and doubles over, laughing at his own “jokes”. Joss then sees somebody in the ring, and puts an apologetic hand up.] Joss Thompson: Oh wait… I didn’t see you there, Paddy Cool… or is it Happy Elwood these days? My apologies, you’ve got both your hips… after all, you haven’t been booked anywhere for the last decade. But unlike you, one of these old farts had to pull out at the last minute. So I’m here, and I’m going to throw every single one of you back to the free agents pool. [The talent in the ring grow frustrated at Thompson’s mocking of them. He isn’t done however, despite being the only person finding his “routine” remotely humorous.] Joss Thompson: What ever happened to your buddy Tom E. Hawk anyway, Elwood? (Slapping his head at his sudden “realisation”) I remember, he lost his title and then quit like a coward! [Joss laughs at himself once more and puts the microphone down. He enters the ring, to a baying group of angry USPW alumni...]<hr color=red><hr color=blue> <hr color=red><hr color=blue>[The first award to be given out on the night was “Rivalry of the Decade”, and Peter Valentine and Freddie Datsun made their way to the podium that had been set up beside the entranceway. Despite their years as rivals in the company, the two men managed to remain cordial as they introduced the “nominees”.] [Footage aired of the various nominated rivalries, with a number of iconic USPW clips aired during the course of the video package. Returning to the podium, Freddie Datsun opened the envelope with the winner’s names inside.] Peter Valentine: (jumping the gun): … and the winner is, Nicky Champion vs. Steve Frehley! [The commentators noted that despite being up for two awards, Nicky Champion has not been seen at the building during the day. Even Belle Bryden was beginning to lose hope. Steve Frehley is in the building however, and comes out to “accept” the awards.] Steve Frehley (grabbing the award): So I guess this is mine… (Frehley looks unimpressed, until he feels the weight of the statuette) I guess I could find a use for this. [steve Frehley then gets in the face of Freddie Datsun, who steps out of the way. Peter Valentine got himself out of the way too, before Frehley even came near him.] Steve Frehley: But I guess this is it. Confirmation. Nicky Champion is done. Rivalry of the Decade… and I finished him at the biggest show of 2019! A fitting final chapter, don’t you think. But this is another big night, right? And y’all know what I do when the pressure is on. Rick Law… Last Man Standing… enjoy your last night in USPW! [steve Frehley then left to the back, with the commentators promoting that Main Event match between Rick Law and Steve Frehley!]<hr color=red><hr color=blue>[Heading to the back, Roger Cage is seen preparing for his match later in the evening. One of his opponents approaches him, with Zeus appearing without the rest of The Olympus Order.] Roger Cage (looking up from tying his boots): Let me guess, Bad Intention are behind that door, waiting for the signal to come and kick my ass again? Zeus: Oh come on now, Roger. It is nothing like that. I just want to know what went wrong? Last week, you wanted to face us 3-on-1… but now, I hear you’ve got some former Champions in your corner? Roger Cage (standing up): Yeah well what worked for me, didn’t work for the Commissioner. So tonight, it’s 3-on-3… and I think you’re going to love my partners. Zeus, it’s going to be savage! [Roger Cage smirks at Zeus, who storms off in a huff. As Zeus heads out of the door, Cage calls him back...] Zeus: What? Roger Cage (self-assured, and with a wink to his rival): You’ll never beat me.<hr color=red><hr color=blue> <hr color=red><hr color=blue>[Heading back to the office of Commissioner James Justice, the man in charge is seen talking to Running Wolf about tonight’s Main Event, when Rich Money storms into the office.] Rich Money (incensed): Hey, Justice! You can stop this crap right now! Give me my money back, or believe me… I’ll make sure you aren’t here next week! [Running Wolf steps between James Justice and the World Champion, standing up for the Commissioner.] Running Wolf (stoic): You’d better step down, Rich… or Justice will kick your ass before I get the chance to! [Rich brushes Wolf off, and makes it clear his issue is with Justice.] James Justice (glib): You don’t have to be modest, Rich. That donation is going to do a whole world of good. Not only has USPW matched it, but I have too… and so has your opponent for Stars, Stripes & Slams, Running Wolf! [Rich is now unsure what to be most mad about, Wolf getting another shot at his title, or his money being “wasted” on charitable causes.] Rich Money: You’ve loving this aren’t you, Justice?! (Trying to maintain some composure) This little honeymoon period of yours isn’t going to last very long, and you’re going to be on your knees begging for my help. You might not know it now, but when you’re at your very lowest… you’ll realise The Business doesn’t owe you anything. And we’ll kick you to the curb with the rest of ‘em… I am the USPW World Champion, and no matter what stupid little title they give you, I have the Championship, I have the money. And that means that I have the power!<hr color=red><hr color=blue> <hr color=red><hr color=blue> USPW American Wrestling - Reverie Exclusive - “From The United States… To The World!” <hr color=red><hr color=blue>[Returning for the second hour of the show, the commentators introduced a video package which replayed footage from last week’s show. During a “statement” made by Rich Money at the top of the ramp, the USPW World Champion was confronted by Running Wolf. Wolf would then be attacked from behind by Rich Money’s “bodyguard” Charlie Thatcher, who threw him head first into the LED set, resulting in the match up next being made...]<hr color=red><hr color=blue> <hr color=red><hr color=blue>[Heading to the back, Lionel Greenwood promotes the Main Event match, before introducing his guest at this time, Rick Law.] [Rick Law talked about the Last Man Standing challenge he made to Steve Frehley last week, and the fact some people have been questioning the wisdom behind it. Rick Law said he understands just how dangerous Frehley is, and that’s why it’s so important that somebody stops him. He doesn’t see anybody else stepping into the line of duty, so he has to. As the interview appears to end, Chris Caulfield walks in.] [The two men shook hands and had a short catch up, before Chris Caulfield got down to serious business.] Chris Caulfield: … but Rick, I just wanted to wish you luck tonight. I know you don’t need me to tell you what Frehley is capable of, but from somebody who has had more Last Man Standing, Hardcore, Flaming Table, First Blood, Steel Cage, Deathmatches that anybody else… and from somebody who feels the effects of those matches every day… these fights are 90% mental. So I need you to remember something Rick, when you’re in the ring with Frehley tonight… you’re one of the toughest S.O.Bs I’ve ever stepped in the ring with. And USPW needs you to take down Frehley tonight! [Chris then offers his hand to Rick Law, who accepts. Law is inspired by the words of “The Hardcore American”.] Rick Law: Chris, I’m not going to let anybody down tonight!<hr color=red><hr color=blue>[Returning to ringside, it was time for the Tag Team of the Decade award to be given out, and to present this one, one half of each of the first two teams to hold USPW’s World Tag Team titles made their returns to American Wrestling.] [Captain USA and Corporal Doom played up to their personas to a comical degree, the contrast between the two resulting in The Captain getting under The Corporal’s skin pretty quickly. After a brief shoutout to the man he held the titles with back in 2002, Rick Law, The Captain introduced the nominees.] Corporal Doom: And the winners are… [before Doom could announce the Tag Team of The Decade, The Towers of Powers came out from the back, confident that they’d been voted as the winners.] Danny Rushmore: First of all, we want to thank Shane Sneer… [Captain USA taps Danny on the shoulder and shows both him and Mick Muscles the actual result.] Mick Muscles (outraged): NATURAL STORM?! [The actual winners came out after that belated announcement, and shook hands with Captain USA. Eddie Howard took the award, but as The Towers of Power left, another team emerged.] [The Cold Warriors hadn’t been seen together on American Wrestling for some time before tonight, but were making their impact by attacking the Tag Team of the Decade. Captain USA II could do nothing as Karloff & Novak laid out Howard & Rayne, throwing them into, and knocking over, the podium. Whether bitter losers, or opportunistic attackers, The Cold Warriors stood over Natural Storm, significantly souring a celebratory moment for the 6 time World Tag Team Champions!]<hr color=red><hr color=blue> <hr color=red><hr color=blue>[in the back, James Justice is putting the finishing touches on the USPW Decade Awards post-show party, when he is joined in the room by former enemy Peter Valentine, and his nephew Casey.] Peter Valentine (very loudly): So you’re the man in charge around here now, huh, Justice? James Justice: That’s right, Petey. And if you don’t mind, I’ve got a pretty big announcement to make in about (checks watch) 30 minutes… Peter Valentine (assertive): Well we need to talk. You’ve got the second coming of Peter Valentine on your hands with my nephew Casey, and you’d better start giving him the shots he deserves. [Rekindling their old rivalry, the already on-edge James Justice squares up to Peter Valentine. Neither man is willing to back down, but Casey Valentine’s actions draws the attention of both men. Flipping a table, which had all the food for the Decade Awards afterparty on it, Casey Valentine was in the mood to cause chaos. Peter Valentine soon joined him, pulling down decorations and popping balloons. Security were on the scene and removed the two trouble makers, but the damage appeared to be done. At this moment, James Justice received a call. Whatever he was told, took his mind off the mess that had just been made. Justice turned to the staff members who had put it all together.] James Justice: I need to leave this with you, buddy. I’ve got to go and present this final award after the Main Event… and from the phone call I’ve just received, it’s going to be huge! [James Justice then left the room, as we returned to ringside for the Main Event...]<hr color=red><hr color=blue>
  22. Really like the nickname WorldStar for Maurice. Love the MEM dynamic, they all feel unique rather than three big tough guys thrown together to be scary. The Brat Pack's transformation is fantastic. Really funny segment with Mac. Poor Rod Sullivan, nice way to promote the tag speed dating, which is a great idea (don't know if I mentioned it first time round). I notice there's a lot of playground gossip around the locker room too, which suits how I'd like to imagine backstage at a RAW show. Lie Detector was done really well. Liked the red and green. Reminded me a little of Moe in the Simpsons, and of course the Vince lie detector. another very good segment. The Gimmick Doctor this show gets more ridiculous by the week... Looking forward to the MJ/Swoop blow off, though I think there's plenty of legs in the storyline yet.

Captain Wrestling II’s contract details are currently unknown, as the major international signing’s arrival had been kept under pretty tight wraps.</span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> “The Captain” is a former RAW Television Champion (the promotion’s top title), and was ranked #54 in TEW’s Power 500 for the previous year. The signing is seen as a hugely significant deal for USPW to complete, with rumours that they’d sounded out a number of RAW’s stars before getting positive feedback from Captain Wrestling II. Looking for a new challenge, having been usurped by a number of younger competitors as the “face of RAW”, Captain Wrestling II gave notice at the beginning of 2020 that he would not be re-signing with the company for a new “season” of their Attitude show on the Australian Sports Network. He is however staying to close out his current storylines, before relocating to the United States later this month.</span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> This once again signals USPW’s intention to become a powerhouse in all major wrestling markets, with their ever growing presence in Australia likely to be boosted by the arrival of Captain Wrestling II. RAW officials are said to be concerned that more talent may be tempted to join the world’s largest promotion, and are scrambling to secure long-term deals for their top talents. USPW’s finanacial might dwarfs any other promotion in Pro Wrestling, and is widely considered to be the major reason behind their success. This approach has of course, made them no friends within the wider wrestling community, but Reverie are said to be intent on making the USPW brand synonymous with Pro Wrestling, and hold no regard for other promotions.</span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> The signing of Debbie Rose & Kate Lilly adds another duo to the growing women’s tag team division, and appears to be part of a long-term strategy to introduce Women’s Tag Team titles to the promotion. The AAA Hall of Famers were reportedly recommended to Pablo Rodriguez by commentator and former USPW Womens Champion, Belle Bryden, who trained Debbie Rose and briefly worked with both members of the team in AAA. Belle Bryden is expected to work closely with Pablo Rodriguez in the short-term, with the company apparently interested in Joanne Rodriguez as the full-time “Head of Recruitment” for female competitors. Initial contact has been made with “J-Ro”, but a formal approach is not yet on the table.</span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> USPW are also expected to make a “huge announcement” after next week’s USPW Decade Awards special episode of American Wrestling, but details have not yet been shared with employees of the company.
