  1. <p>I assume, Jeff Jarrett will be the 1st inductee. </p><p> </p><p> Cage was only in TNA for 2 years. </p><p> AJ is still active and full time.</p><p> Ron Killings would be a good one, but maybe not yet.</p><p> </p><p> Who else would even qualify?</p>
  2. I would argue that Miz and Morrison were that sort of team, and they were much more recent than NAO.
  3. Road Warriors/LoD Doom The Steiner Brothers The Dudley Boys Harlem Heat Demolition The New Age Outlaws What do these have in common? They were ALL better as a team than their individual parts. Most of these teams ended up with 1 legit singles wrestler and 1 really bad one, but together they were seen as legendary teams. Any of these teams could have faced 2 Main Event stars in a tag match and no one would bat an eyelash when the established team won. When a tag team is done right, you elevate both stars beyond what they can do by themselves.
  4. You would be crying like a baby after any ONE of these 3 things. And he didn't just lose to those 3 moves. He lost to those 3 moves AFTER exhausting himself for 15 minutes.
  5. I just wanted to mention that Christopher Daniels did USED to use the 'Fallen Angel' gimmick more liberally during his earlier days in TNA. I remember seeing him on some of the early weekly PPVs and he did some great promos with that character. I guess he just got so well known that he no longer needed to use something so 'gimmicky' to use a TEW term and just got by on his wrestling skill and charisma.
  6. Eddie's death was heart related too. But it was clear that the years of drugs was what caused the eventual heart failure to happen. Eddie had been clean for a few years when his death happened. Drugs don't always kill you right away.
  7. See the WWE '12 thread for my reply to the Tensai debate. I didn't realize when I wrote it that he wrote the same thing in this thread and you guys had already ripped him one.
  8. Umm, am I the only person who read this and was flabbergasted? Other than Hardy, how are ANY of the other guys in this list stale in the Main Event? Roode and Storm worked their asses off in TNA for several years in the midcard and just recently have gotten the chance to take the ball and run with it. IMO they are the 2 best guys in TNA right now and their match at the next PPV is going to be great (and I see Storm getting a a legit title run this time). And Bully Ray was one of the top tag team guys in the world for a couple decades and just recently was put into the Main Event as a singles wrestler (and is doing an excellent job of it, to mine and alot of other ppl's surprise). Sting isn't in the Main Event anymore (for now). Flair isn't there. Angle isn't doing as much. Jarret is in Mexico. Hogan is just GM'ing for now. HOW is the Main Event stale?? Please tell me!
  9. I really like this idea. I hope something like this happens (but it won't) On a related note, I wonder if this is the end of AJ's turn in the spotlight now. Can she find another storyline on Raw/SD or will she be exclusive to Superstars again.
  10. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="milamber" data-cite="milamber" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Coolest match ever: Kenny Omega v 9-year-old Haruka in Japan.<p> </p><p> <a href="http://bleacherreport.com/articles/790106-wrestling-news-watch-former-roh-star-kenny-omega-wrestle-9-year-old-haruka" rel="external nofollow">http://bleacherreport.com/articles/790106-wrestling-news-watch-former-roh-star-kenny-omega-wrestle-9-year-old-haruka</a></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I saw that match several months ago. It's funny and the end was predictable but still good. Kenny Omega is awesome. He can have a stellar 20 minute match with a love doll (and has)</p><p> </p><p> This isn't WWE related though. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  11. Say what you will about WWE Creative but they have a knack for finding the perfect gimmick for people. When Cena first came in, he was a bland 'blue-chipper', but eventually someone discovered that he liked to rap and BINGO, a star was born. Santino Marella had a similar bland gimmick at first, but eventually he struck comedy gold and he has been a crowd favorite ever since. Daniel Bryan had the same beginning but now he has a character that truly shines on Smackdown and has him as the #1 heel on the brand. I could go on really, from Rocky Miavia becomes The Rock to The Ringmaster becoming Stone Cold Steve Austin, sometimes it just takes a poke in the right direction.
  12. I disagree with this. I've known people who don't know anything about wrestling but know the "WOO!"
  13. Umm no. Undertaker spent the last year healing up from last year's WM. He didn't leave the business. And HHH has been on Raw on a semi-consistant basis. First as COO, and now as Taker's WM opponent. How in the slightest does this relate to The Rock leaving the business all-together for 7 years, telling the fans he is back and will NEVER leave, and then leaving again? Sure he has done a few satalite promos. And he has and will do a couple more promos on Raw until WM. But after WM is over, he will leave the business again. Maybe until next year's WM. Maybe for good.
  14. I've been saying since WM last year that The Rock didn't deserve to be in the main event of WM this year. That he is nothing but a sell out. And I am SO glad that Cena brings up constantly the fact that The Crock said he was never going to leave again and then left again. I was a big fan of The Rock back in the late 90's back when his passion was for wrestling and not for paychecks. He WAS in fact the best promo guy in the business. However, the business has changed. The Rock doing the same type of promos he did back then (catch phrase, crowd pop, catch phrase, crowd pop, etc) doesn't fit in anymore. Today's WWE superstars do promos that are much better written now. The Rock is just too cartoony. And it doesn't help that he is just going to leave again after WM. Why should I give a crap about whether he wins or loses against Cena?
  15. It looked to me like they tried to re-create the scene when Taker and HHH silently agreed to do the WM match last year, only THIS time HHH silently said no.
  16. John Cena vs Kane (full heel turn for Cena here or at Raw tomorrow) Daniel Bryan © vs Big Show vs Mark Henry CM Punk © vs Dolph Zigger (guest referee: John Lauranitis) RUMBLE MATCH Winner: Dolph Ziggler Longest Time in Match: Mark Henry Shortest Time in Match: Chris Jericho (I think he'll take forever walking to the ring, and then jump over the top rope on his own) Most Eliminations: Big Show
  17. I'm wondering if the "everyone is elegible" part means that EVERY superstar on the roster will be in the Rumble? Cuz that could be interesting.
  18. I guess no one has noticed that Cena is not in the main event right now. His only iMPACT (haha) on Raw lately has been to support Ryder and be turned heel by Kane. Back on topic, I have always been a fan of Anderson (Still randomly do the KENNEDY..... KENNEDY sometimes). I wouldn't mind seeing him back as soon as possible.
  19. They do this sort of thing once a year or so, to promote the 'fact' that anything can happen in the WWE. And also to drum up ticket sales to meaningless house shows.
  20. Anyone who thinks WWE is too predictable, the end to Smackdown was surreal. I don't even know what to think about it having just seen it.
  21. Has anyone else thought that maybe Jericho isn't even going to return at all? Like these skits are just an elaborate ruse? It wouldn't surprise me if after a couple more of these that he finally speaks only to say that he is not going to wrestle and he just wanted to put one over on the sheep.
  22. I know they were using The Cat's music but Brodius actually reminded me more of A-Train when he was the Hip Hop Hippo.
  23. Even though I knew what DB was going to do 5 secs before he did it, I still loved it! lol He is definitely going down the heel route. But not in the usual way. He is morphing into the ultimate weasel.
