I would love to see the consistency rating effect all of a worker’s ratings outside of wrestling skills (in this case for angles, acting and mic) and even have a “agent” for angles (like a road agent for matches) to throw another variable into the formula. Some of the biggest stars were made by accident.<p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Also love today’s entry. That was fast! Thanks for listening.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I think that's a really good point by you/Questlove. Something like consistency could work, or even just gimmicks having a bigger impact. As gimmick ratings at least to me feel more random. Especially when it comes to just angles, I think an average worker with an amazing gimmick should find it MUCH easier to gain popularity/get higher ratings than a great talker stuck with an awful gimmick. </p><p> </p><p> Of course there are examples of great workers getting awful gimmicks to work, I guess you could use Undertaker as an one, but I'd like TEW to be able to reflect characters just catching on fire suddenly with a particular gimmick. I'm not sure something like Becky Lynches fairly sudden raise could happen in TEW. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Anyway I'm also real happy to see the change today, it's been said already but it is impressive and exciting to see our opinions help shape it.</p>
  2. <p>Yeah I'm pretty torn on this new one too. </p><p> </p><p>

Regional ones makes sense to me just because I think it sounds more natural, smaller promotion puts on good shows > gets more buzz around them than competitors > more people go to their shows > they make more money. </p><p> </p><p>

It also makes money more important in the sense that if you are rich, losing the battles isn't the end of the world for you, which is probably true. A small indie can be putting on average shows but if they have plenty of money to not be affected by the loss in the battles then it doesn't affect them too much, whereas a poor promotion now desperately needs to win the battle in order to get more people to their shows. </p><p> </p><p>

But as others have said I'm unsure of the national changes. I really liked the 2016 system, although Darkraiders and others comments have made me rethink it. One thing is I don't think the Khoklov matter is an important point because it makes sense, it just so happened that 2016 database started at such a time. If the you have 2/3 promotions pretty level in a national battle and you have this free agent who is one of the biggest stars in the world, it makes perfect sense that hiring him is the obvious choice for anyone wanting to play that way and win the battle at any cost. I agree that seeing it happen in every game gets a bit old but I think it's impossible to have a starting database without issues like that. If there are no obvious and easy signings then that basically just means everyone already has the best people and there's nothing interesting in that. </p><p> </p><p>

I don't even know what I'm suggesting because I agree that show quality should be important in a battle but I just think the whole needing to create big stars who drive viewership/ticket sales is at least equally important. </p><p> </p><p>

Put it this way, I think most people, myself included, don't think RAW is the best weekly wrestling program and yet lots of people who also think that will still be watching RAW over other programs. Now you might say that's just silly then, but I think it's testament to the fact that star power is that important. Even if the show he is on isn't great, I'd prefer to watch my favourites like Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles over lesser known wrestlers who are on technically better shows. So yeah I think if you had to have a simple method of working out national battles I think the 2016 system was great.</p>

  3. I agree with both Taker and Logan, I would like it if there was more to them than setting them up how you like them when starting the game and then just getting rare emails from them.

You could definitely argue that it's only supposed to be a small feature and so shouldn't be overcomplicated, but I like the idea of events such as scandals. Say you have a real tough wrestler you send to be trainer because he's got great skills for it, but he's too much of a hard ass and news breaks out he's been hazing/beating students. Especially with performance centers being sort of half way towards a child company (if I'm understanding correctly), there's a lot possibilities for this stuff.

  4. I can imagine this being one of the bigger journal entries in terms of differentiating 2020 from previous games. Definitely feels like a risk (in a good way) as I love the idea in general but I think it has to be implemented well to ensure good balance. Makes me interested to hear how this affects things like written contracts/tv requirements and other things that were linked to the previous cult/national dynamic.
  5. I'm creating a mod using TV characters and want to have female characters but I'm not sure how many I'm going to be able to get.

    So three questions really;

1: If I was to create women divisions but with a low amount could I just create 1 womens weight class? Would this have any negative effects? I assume I would need to make them all a similar weight? If I still wanted to have some weight difference between the women but wanted to keep them in one division how big could the range be for 1 single division?

2: If having just 1 womens division isn't possible, could i just make the women characters actually men? With it being TV characters I don't mind inter-gender fights (I'd actually prefer that than them being separate) but again is there any negative effects of doing this? The only one I can think of is unless I just make everybody gay then there would be no new relationships between anybody.

3: How small do you think a weight division can realistically be? I'm hoping to create just 2 or 3 promotions but then some unemployed fighters to fill out the database. How many fighters would you say I need in each weight class?

Thanks for any help I've only really just started with WMMA and so I'm throwing myself into the deep end a bit by starting with this mod.

  6. Is there a way to have more strikes in a fight? I’ve noticed a five round fight will end with 10 strikes for each fighter and no takedowns but still be regarded as a great fight. Is there a way to make more strikes but still keep the KOs down?

I'm not experienced enough to answer this fully, but one idea you could try is to edit to fight engine (technically I think you have to copy the default one to create your own), this could get a little detailed but especially if you're happy to play around with it I'm sure you could get the results you want. For example you could decrease the effectiveness of head movement, or perhaps increase the effect of punching technique. I'd assume this would result it more strikes and if you wanted to counteract this to make sure it didn't lead to too many KO's you could increase chin strength or something like that.

Does chin strength go down from absorbing strikes but not getting KO’d?

That looks correct according to the help file it gets worn down during the fight 'i.e if a fighter takes multiple shots to the head' it says this makes him more likely to get stunned or knocked out so implies that it goes down from just usual strikes.

(I think Nobby's 'Pro Wrestling.. but not as you know it' does this). I imagine it would only really work well for match/performance heavy promotions though.</p>

  11. Although I've not really been active enough to properly follow it, it would be a shame if it's the end of USWL but I do like NOTBPW and the bits of Canadian Classic I remember. I know even in 2013 they had the same problems as your post talks about and so now 3 years on they are in a pretty desperate state. I'm 18 months into my current save and they are still putting on good shows but using the same old people so surely it can't last. So the whole focusing on building up a loyal new era is interesting.

Makes me think it's a shame the loyalty system is only in Japan. Obviously the current system only really suits Japan but you could still have a stricter criteria where every so often Western workers gain loyalty

Would like to see it played out in full, even if just for a "pilot" episode.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Well thanks for reading. I doubt I will but I've kept the save file and notes in case it's a future thing. It always felt more like a 20LE diary to be honest what with it being sort of similiar to that one from a while ago (NOW I think it was called) and being USPW! Must have planned too many with you that I'm starting to think of similiar stuff. </p><p> </p><p> WK11 has gotten me back into my old GCG save with I love. I just could never do a diary that needed proper match write ups and I feel GCG does.</p>
  13. <p><em>Disclaimer: This isn't really a diary preview as there is pretty much 0 chance I will decide to run with this and start a diary, it just felt weird working on it and just deleting it so thought I'd might as well post it. I know it's pretty much the opposite of what this thread is for but I didn't want to bump up one of my old threads to use for it.</em></p><p> </p><p>

The general idea behind it was that my user character was put in charge of a B show for USPW. It was more of an entertainment show loosely based around USPW, using it's characters as opposed to an actual wrestling show. The plan was for it start out as a B show that nobody wanted to be on but slowly build it up to the point where USPW pretty much existed just to create characters for this hit show. USPW would slowly change it product to like 20% angles and it would be more producing athletic athletes instead of wrestlers. Anyway I got the initial stuff written up but sort of went off the idea. If I was ever going to have posted it the format would have a bit more to it and some pictures but anyway here is what would have been the first 4 posts or so.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

You know Jack, it feels like a long time ago you first walked into this office. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    It had been a long time. And a lot had changed.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

"Do you know what often bothers me… People call me a visionary, even a genius. Pretty much all people with my sort of money and power get this. But I can tell you now there is a hell of a lot of millionaires, even billionaires who are blind and stupid. I’ve been fortunate to have my wealth since a very young age, I’ve spent my entire adult life around them. No not many of them are visionaries or geniuses, and I’m no different. You want to know what we all have in common? We bet on the right horse. And I’ve got to admit Jack, you… well you’re my favourite horse!" </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

We both let out a small laugh but in reality I couldn’t help but feel proud. I mean this is the man who made my life what it is. I first met him a 22 year old rookie with no job, but now I’m not only a multiple time champion, the head booker of the biggest wrestling company in the world but I’ve been able to do exactly what I came here to do, change the business. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

"I often think about all those complaints I’d get, all the boys who outright refused to be a part of your plans. A lot of people thought we were ruining the business you know! "</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

He was right. People still think it. Allen doesn’t like to surround himself with negative people. Don’t get me wrong he can take constructive criticism but he also has a great knack at being oblivious to a lot of the hate. But hey when you’re on top of the world and only going up do you really need to hear it all. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

"Do you take any pleasure in that Jack? I don’t think there is anything wrong with that. Do you know the amount of people who laughed at the idea of Dream? Swear to God laughed me out of the building. I sometimes wonder where they are now but the truth is I don’t have a clue. I’m sure they know how I’M doing though. A lot of people laughed you off at first. Now the same people practically beg to be on your show. "</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

I laughed off his question but the truth is… I think I do take pleasure in it. The difference between me and my boss is he is motivated by his own determination to be the best, whereas I’m motivated by everybody else's insistence that I CAN’T be the best. I’m not as relaxed as Allen. I still read all the comments online, I still hear the naysayers who think I’ve ruined the very business I love. And I know my detractors still exist but I think it’s pretty clear that I’ve come out on top. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The conversation soon moved on from our shared past to the plans we’re setting in motion for the future. But my mind was stuck on memory lane. Thinking about the journey that I’ve taken, the impact we have had. But I should be more like Allen and focus on the positives and not worry about what my legacy will be. After all you know what they say, history is written by the victors. No I shouldn’t worry about the past, I should get busy writing it.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

"Ok Jack I feel like we’re ready to give this whole thing the green light. Get some adverts made up and start drumming up some interest. I can’t promise you the world. But I’ll provide the platform for you to test the waters." </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

I still couldn’t really believe it. ME, the head writer of a USPW weekly tv show. And not just any TV show, we had a lot of ideas to make sure this stood out. This was never going to be your standard wrestling show. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

"Now I’m sure you’ve heard the rumours. Let’s just say plenty of people aren’t too keen on your idea. Don’t let that worry you, on the contrary, I have a list of people here who have volunteered to be your guinea pigs. Their words not mine." </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

I took the list from the desk and gave it a quick scan. It was positive. Some big names. Mostly people currently struggling to get a good spot on American Wrestling but that made sense. Allen made it clear from the get go that this was to be a little side experiment until we got some proper ratings, with that in mind the list was great. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

"Now as we talked about yesterday I can only give you 30 minutes but I’ve got plenty of hope we’ll get some eyes on it. Have you thought anymore about the problem we talked about?"</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The show was planned to be set within the world of USPW without necessarily being a wrestling show. Using Titanic Productions we’re taking the larger than life characters in USPW and getting a bit more creative with them. Problem was, we still wanted some of it to be set in front of the fans in the arenas. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

"I think I might have, as long as we limit ourselves to only having live matches as the last thing on the episodes. What we do is film and edit the on-location stuff throughout the week. Then on Wednesdays when we’re already at arenas for American Wrestling we take advantage of that crowd. We call it a special screening of the episode or something like that. So before American Wrestling kick offs we get the crowd in 30 minutes earlier put Reverie up on the Jumbotron. We air the episode and if we want it to end with an in ring match then we do that live in between the screening and American Wrestling. "</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Allen sat back in his chair. I know my plan sounded convoluted. After all I’m still not certain myself how everything is going to come together. But it meant we could do everything we had planned but still have some of the show filmed live in front of the USPW audience. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

"Well… I’ll pass the idea on to the boys at Titanic, if they say they can work with that. It’s got my approval." </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

We’d past most formalities by now but we still shook hands at the end of our meetings. I got up ready to get to work. I couldn’t help but feel excited about what was to come.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    </div> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    <div style=" border: 2px solid black";"></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

I was warming up for my match on the pre show of American Wrestling when I first properly met James. They say wrestlers are often most believable when their character is simply their own personality turned up to 11. Well James Justice is a walking example of this. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    ‘Hey man… I’ve heard this thing you got planned is a go, I think that’s really groovy yeah,I think it will be a lot of fun’. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As a young boy I watched this man tear it up in TCW as Liberty. Nowadays his spot on the card is starting to be questioned, but he’s still undeniably great. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

I got a lot of ideas about where we can take everything with you. I want you to be focal point of the show. I’m thinking maybe we..</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Whatever works for you Jack, they say the times are changing fast around here. So I’m happy to go with the flow. If this is the next big thing then consider me in 100 and 10 percent. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    That means a lot man thanks. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Justice was opening the show tonight, losing against the young talent has become somewhat typical for his character which I think is a shame, the man can still go at the top level so that’s where he still belongs in my eyes. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As James left I pulled my new mask out of my bag. Lil Mexico was my new gimmick. Terrible if you ask me, after all there’s plenty of actual Mexicans who could play the role. But hey I don’t write the A show stuff. My in-ring career wasn’t going so well but I’m perfectly fine paying my dues first. Especially when it lets me focus on the new show. I’d been in talks with Titanic all week about the advert that was airing next month. We didn’t have any actual footage of the show filmed yet so it’s quick and to the point let's just say, it won’t give too much away but hopefully it gets some talking.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    <div style=" border: 2px solid black";"></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

All that can be seen on the screen is a small TV showing highlights of James Justice’s career. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Flashing between championship wins, big moments and important promos, the camera pans out to show the TV is one of many in a shop window. A small child is watching intently in the bitter cold outside, punching the air along with his the fighting. The child is pulled away by his Mum as the camera pans back in to show an old clip of Justice on the turnbuckle with the USPW title. The camera pans out for a second time, this time to reveal James himself in a modest but beautiful home. He smiles at the memory, grabs his motorbike keys and exits. As the revving up of the bike can be heard in the background the camera zooms back into the screen. It’s showing James being crowded by USPW fans at signing event. The camera pans out slowly one last time. The sound of James’s bike is replaced with the crackling of fire. All that can be seen are walls of flames. A fireball flies from behind the camera into the TV, causing it too to burst into flames. The camera continues to pan out to reveal a large throne occupied by an imposing figure. It’s Tyson Baine. He cackles deeply. The camera turns around to properly reveal his face. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    He stares at the camera with intensity. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

He continues to cackle as the camera turns back to the TV, still on flames, with the vision of James celebrating just about visible beneath the flames.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

While only having casually played TEW's 2005, 2010, and 2013, all of the new and updated features in 2016 have me hooked. By casually I mean I havent really looked at forums past mods and never even thought of posting a diary... Now, however, I really have an urging to do so. I have NEVER done such a thing, public gaming in general. If anybody has any tips for presentation that would be great! Anyway I plan on posting a Mid Atlantic Wrestling Diary starting with default rosters and database. Again any tips would be extremely helpful, mostly out of TEW programs, such as formating a show card in GoogleDocs or Word, etc.... Thanks so much in advance!</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I think best advice is just to get going and see what works for you. If there is any part of other people's presentations that you like ask them how they do it, I know that's what helped me when I first started. There's a lot of different ways to format the show I suppose so it really depends how in depth you want it to be but I think MAW are a really good promotion to start with.</p>
  15. <p>I don't know of a way you can turn off the penalty. But you could always change their risk levels in the in-game editor. (options> edit data).</p><p> </p><p>

Question myself that got lost a bit earlier or perhaps nobody knows- If you are on your own subscription network, what is the difference between a TV Show and a weekly event? I know product wise they could use different match/angle ratios and other differences like that. But in terms of financial and popularity gains is there one that is inherently better than the other? I would assume TV is somehow better, but if an event is shown to the exact same audience on the same network to the same attendance then I'm not sure how.</p>

  16. <p>Does anybody know the difference between a TV show shown exclusively on a subscription network and a weekly event shown on the network? I assume a monthly event will still bring in more revenue (at least from ticket sales) from a tv show even if the two are just shown on the network. But I can't see how a weekly event would go. Both in terms of financially and for any popularity gains/losses.</p><p> </p><p>

Running a test with USPW I can see a weekly event gets 10,000 attendance. A tv show gets 10,000 and a monthly event gets like 40,000. But I assume there must be SOME difference between tv and weekly event?</p><p> </p><p>

Edit: During my tests I also keep getting an issue where after my B show it goes to the next day without running my A show (on the same night). Is this common bug?</p>

Will the dev talents gain any skills/pop? Any negatives like affecting their pop losing on the main roster?</p><p> </p><p> I'm trying to cut down on using the same people to job to my more focused stars. I use locals, but also wanted to know is it beneficial to use dev talents too?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Popularity and skill changes happen just as they would normally I believe. So yes in theory if you kept using say Finn Balor to job out on RAW it would affect his popularity (I say affect and not lose because often losing to good people in good matches can increase pop).</p><p> </p><p> I do use dev talents to job on the main roster, but mostly just use people who I know will be in developmental for a long time. Most my people are in developmental to get better not popular, so to come and lose to big stars will only help this. It also has the bonus of being able to scout for chemistry to use in the future. </p><p> </p><p> One thing I'm not sure about is momentum, for example if dev talent lose on main roster I'm not sure if it affects their momentum in developmental. I'd guess it doesn't but not certain.</p>

One thing that concerns is me the number of TV shows back then, and how they were pretty much all B shows filled with squash matches and a handful of stars. Power Hour, Worldwide, Pro and Main Event were all B shows, more or less. Only Saturday Night seems to have been used to advance major storylines on a consistent basis.<p> </p><p> So, I'd either scrap/consolidate them all, or as a different idea, post a screenshot/bullet points of the results with written highlights ("Steve Austin had this to say about the Great Muta...") for key segments, a format that could also be used for Saturday Night and even PPVs with a bit more detail to it.</p><p> </p><p> Has anyone tried a similar format for their shows?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I use screenshots in my diary. For the B show I just post the post show summary. It's real quick and easy but you can edit the angles to get plenty of detail across. Only problems is if things happen in the match it still just comes up as X defeated Y. But post match angles can be used to explain things like that.</p>

There's two for this diary (5 for the latest WWE one)</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Well now I feel silly for reasking this on my thread. Cool I will try this.</p><p> </p><p> It's a shame if the forum has changed this as it never had a problem with the long images before, but this sounds like a way around it. thanks!</p>
  21. <p>Less of a preview, as my diary has just started, more of a general question...</p><p> </p><p>

    Previously I have liked to post my shows like <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1960665&postcount=213" rel="external nofollow">this</a>. </p><p> </p><p>

I just use snipping tool and paint, nothing special but it's quick and easy. I then upload it to photobucket and just post the image. But now when I'm trying to do it, the picture won't keep it size. I've tried uploading it to photobucket, imgur and tinypic but every time when I view picture it's only a small version. </p><p> </p><p>

Does anybody know a way around this? I have over a dozen shows written up in this format and don't like the idea of posting them small. In a worst case scenario people will just have to zoom in... but that's just a pain for everyone.</p>

  22. Golden has bad chemistry with Khoklov, Hawkins and Andrews and only 2 months in, would've started a new save if it weren't for the fact I'd spent 30 minutes setting up a dev fed etc. :(

Anyone have any stories on broadcaster changes? Both I feel are a tad to small but I've got 2 years left with Pop Network.

yeah like jwt13 I've gone with ACE. I wanted a B show at first but a 2nd A show on a huge network is too tempting. You could either bring back Saturday Night Showcase or if you still wanted Total Wrestling to be the flagship show you could just swap the names and logo. Means I have to wait 3 months to get get a B show but my plan is to have keep both A shows until I can leave POP and then just have an A and B on ACE.
