    This Tuesday on The POP! Network, Danger and Violence Extreme presents the most unmissable 90 minutes of action.

    Tonight we get answers to the questions. Who will be the 4th man in The Elimination Chamber? Will Titan join Goldworthy Talent? How will Dr Love. respond to his beatdown at the hands of The Canadian Animals? Will Sammy Bach even be able to respond to his attacker Eddie Peak after the brutal car door attack? As well as these answers we see a new character debut and two stars already in the Chamber will be forced to work together...

    Welcome to the Dangerzone!

    </div>

    Main Event

    Guide vs Bart Biggins

    Neither man is a veteran of the main event stage. It's a huge opportunity for both not just to prove they belong closing shows but also inside the demonic structure that is The Elimination Chamber!

    'The Last True Cowboy' Ricky Dale Johnson & 'The Speedball' Marc Speed vs BUFF and Titan

    Floyd has helped create this match to give Titan a feel of what it's like to be on Team Goldworthy Talent. But the two men already have history fighting each other so it's not clear whether they will gladly join forces. Their opponents have a similar problem though, with both men looking to go in the Chamber with the most momentum it's not clear whether they can trust each other either.

    'Dr Love' Danny Fonzarelli vs Jeremie Courtney

    The head of The Lovely People looks to train himself before his qualifying match next week. Jeremie always puts his all in but surely the muscular heavyweight is too much for him to handle?

Enjoyed Vibert's Vlog a lot, and the first two episodes have established some good stuff. The visuals of the WWE game work so well and there's plenty going on from the get go. Really like the look of Goldworthy and Buff together, and I feel like there's a lot of great fits for the new DAVE on the roster. The booking and aftermath of the first main event worked well, and Ricky is a perfect for the role he's in. Looking forward to more, the format of this throughout has been brilliant so far.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks for the comments, as you can see this episode the aftermath from the first main event is still being felt. I didn't intend on Bach/Peak being a main storyline from the beginning but I think they will always be semi-feuding. The two main DAVE alumni stars, very different characters, Bach's perhaps more popular and seen as the face of the brand in a way, but Peak's the one who is a former Unified champion... it just makes sense that they would clash.</p><p> </p><p> I do like the idea of TNW getting a shot, fingers crossed for Guide next week. XMG is right though about the trouble that creates with the tag titles. One could pull double duty though I suppose.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="XMultiGames" data-cite="XMultiGames" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46782" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Main Event<p> Scout vs <strong>Marc Speed</strong></p><p> </p><p> <em>As much as I love The New Wave, we all know they are stronger as a team and no so much as individuals, also we have the fact that The New Wave are the tag team champions already, so it wouldnt make the most sense for them to be inside the elimination chamber if they have to defend their titles earlier in the night as is expected that the elimination chamber will happen in a DAVE PPV, so it wouldnt make sense to have a PPV without interesting matches, so a title defense most be on the cards, so The New Wave need to be available to fight whoever they fight, so no elimination chamber for them, also right now there only faces in the elimination chamber, so Marc Speed being one of your top heels which you brought over to DAVE even if less popular than some of the main eventers, is one of the wrestlers with most actual potential in your roster, in no too long we could reallistically see him in a Main Event feud with Sammy Bach as an actual contender to him.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Canadian Animals</strong> vs Elliot Thomas & Jeremie Courtney</p><p> </p><p> <em>The Canadian Animals have two defeats as they lost the tag title match to the new wave, and edd stone was fed to Eddie Peak, and they lost both their managers, they need to win to get back some momentum as they are one of the few teams you have in here so they need to be kept strong and they will win this one their opponents are totally a jobber team.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Titan</strong> vs Dazzling Dave Diamond</p><p> </p><p> <em>I feel that Goldworthy words are going to be kind of profetic, and in no time I see him alligning with buff and godworthy being a force to be feared, and he is the one with most potential within the two but i still hope this transition to dave can be the thing that saves Diamond career after a lackluster TCW run, tonight he has to lose, but hopfully this doesnt mean he is a jobber, he can be a really reliable midcarder face for TCW.</em></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You've kept up the perfect record! And your reasoning was all pretty much spot on with mine too. I wouldn't worry too much about Triple D, I would be surprised if he ever gets very high up the card but he will at least get a minor storyline starting soon. </p><p> </p><p> 3 more shows before the PPV. 3 more spots in the Chamber. 5. Gimmick skills would be replaced by attributes, as Adam said, like "Master Comedian".... these would likely be in two tiers for each, with a positive version and a negative version of each gimmick type while assuming that having neither assigned would be neutral. No need to guess on a 0 to 100 scale how good someone is at something, just far more streamlined. :) The gimmick effects will be more varied than they are now, with each one potentially getting all kinds of attributes attached.... so a cool gimmick could have it's more rapid rise and fall of momentum/popularity, but may get many other things too. Giving far more scope for gimmicks being able to accomplish a lot. :)

    I'm not sure some of the people are quite getting how much this potentially ties in with attributes too and how much more you'll have to think about booking decisions. But that's why the discussion is out here. To get a feel for it, to see what other potential ideas there could be to get better and to help give more knowledge on what could be there. In theory there could be all kinds of new gimmick categories added, all kinds of new effects added and so much more....

    So the more inspiration there is out there, the better. :)

    That does make a lot of sense, I'm sort of picturing the system in 2016 whereas in reality it will work a lot better with other new features. I think as long as the list of possible attributes is long as to not over simplify everything then it sounds great.

    Onto today's ones, disposition strictness is actually one of my favourite changes so far. I strongly disliked that strong/weak divide was gotten rid of and this sounds perfect. I basically always want to play as a company with a weak divide and have had to pick no divide to best replicate it but means I miss out on turns and other fun features.

  6. I initially responded positively about the change, and I think I stick by that.

    But would this mean the end of gimmick types and their affect in popularity changes? I.E A comedy gimmick takes less of a hit from losing but can't be too high up the card.

    Also would it then mean the end of gimmick rating stats? I like the idea of gimmicks being a lot more free and open but hopefully it's doesn't strip the mechanic too bare bones. I could be completely misunderstanding the changes but I'd hope if you want a cocky gimmick (which off the top of my head I think gains pop faster with wins but also loses it faster with loses) then there's still some limit as to who can successfully play it. Especially with other types like comedy or brute it's obvious that some people could simply never successfully play it.

    This Tuesday on The POP! Network, Danger and Violence Extreme presents the most unmissable 90 minutes of action.

    The third spot in the Elimination Chamber is up for grabs this week and we'll hear from one of the two men who have already qualified for the match; Sammy Bach.

    Welcome to the Dangerzone!

    </div>

    Main Event

    Scout vs Marc Speed

    Neither member of The New Wave have ever held a singles title. An amazing stat considering their dominance of every tag division they have step foot in. Tonight Scout has a chance to earn himself a Unified Title shot at Elimination Chamber but his opponent is fresh off a win last week and equally determined to earn a spot.

    The Canadian Animals vs Elliot Thomas & Jeremie Courtney

    Freddy Huggins and Edd Stone haven't had the best of time so far in DAVE, taking beatings and having their Sister and manager 'stolen' by Dr Love. This match is hopefully a chance to gain some positive momentum.

    Titan vs Dazzling Dave Diamond

    A debut this week for Triple D. Fist fly when this 'Good ol' Southern Boy' hits the ring but he faces stiff competition in the form of the massive powerhouse Titan.

  8. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="XMultiGames" data-cite="XMultiGames" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46782" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> <em>Ricky Dale Johnson is debuting [today and he is the secondary face of TCW so I would expect him to qualify for the title match and this is the correct way to continue his feud with BUFF, I expect him to qualify later, but you can see Goldworthy blow up if BUFF fails to qualify.</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <em>Is Marc Speed still the International Champion? I would think Kyle Rhodes would want to keep all the titles in Total Wrestling, and last show you talked about Titan and Killer Shark losing the TCW World Tag Team Championship </em></p><p><em> so I assume Speed isnt International Champion anymore, either way Elliot Thomas is a jobber, and today his job is to put Marc Speed over, that can be a serious contender for the main event.</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <em>Eddie Peak needs to get him momentum back up after the defeat last week so Edd Stone is going to be the sacrificial lamb for Him, I dont know if this is to qualify for the title match but either way this match is for Eddie Peak.</em></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I think you're 6 for 6 at the moment! Although it surprise me really, especially early as I have a pretty clear cut divide between main eventers and others at the moment but hopefully that line will be blurred soon.</p><p> </p><p> Marc Speed has lost his title yes (although I don't think I mention it in the episode, I sort of regret pointing it out with Titan, the brands are separate so why bring up a loss for a debuting wrestler was my thinking). Normally I would never start a save and quickly change all the default champions. But TCW is going through quite a transition at the moment so it does at least fit the narrative in my head. </p><p> </p><p> Speaking of TCW I have the 3rd DAVE show coming up, then the end of the month recaps where I'll give a bit of a glimpse into what's going on with them and the rest of the world (includng ELITE as don't forget they are still fully in the database trying to survive with the god awful roster I left them). I probably spend 90% of my time booking DAVE, 10% TCW, so I'll only post real short recaps of what's going on. I want to post something every so often though because what happens in TCW will inevitably sometimes affect DAVE.</p><p> </p><p> There is also some behind the scenes/Vibert's Vlog style posts I'd like to do, however I'm eager to get properly into DAVE so I want to give most my time to getting shows out faster. Will post the odd thing every now and then... For example...</p><p> </p><p> <a href="https://docdro.id/TrHiQZI" rel="external nofollow"><strong>Updated Roster and Title Histories</strong></a></p>
  9. Yeah I'd definitely be a fan of the gimmick change. I create a new gimmick each time I change one (or at least 80% of the time) but this does often feel a little tedious.

    The whole playing it safe/taking a risk is great. How the difficulty/subtlety works at the moment isn't too intuitive so this definitely sounds like an improvement. Also the idea that some gimmicks are safe but can last many years whilst others might catch fire but burn out and only feel relevant for a smaller time sounds great.

    I feel like as long as there is a list of examples like previously mentioned then I struggle to see any real downside.

  11. I'm sure everyone has different opinions on this but mine align very closely with what Self put and I'd use his CGC diary as the perfect example. As soon as I see massive walls of texts for matches I got into skim mode (again I'm sure plenty of people love the detailed matches). Self's matches I loved because it was all storyline/character development, sure sometimes this means a match is just 1 sentence or two. If there's a lower card match where really all that matters is that one guy stood out and and you want to get his finish over then why fluff it out with other details.

    I think all that matters to me is the diary does have a story/something worth reading. So for example Historians match ups are very short and rarely have any detail, but I'm reading The Climb to follow the company direction as a whole and he's able to add depth through promos both in shows and behind the scenes. I care about the direction of the booking and how the characters careers plot out, not the individual matches. I think as long as there is something interesting SOMEWHERE, it doesn't matter if it's in the matches at all.

    Product definitely affects it in my eyes, it's why even though I play perf>pop promotions in game I usually don't opt for those in diaries as I feel like the actual in ring stuff needs details. Whereas pop>perf it feels more natural to let angles do the talking. Although again even this you can get around, perhaps the detail comes from how workers are developing, or trying to get better match ratings, reasoning for booking decisions etc.

    Basically I 100% think you can have short/essentially non existent even match write ups and still have an engaging diary, as long as there's other aspects to draw you in.

    Updated roster and title page.

    <div style=" border: 2px solid black";">
    6p1pHnZ.gif

    This Tuesday on The POP! Network, Danger and Violence Extreme presents the most unmissable 90 minutes of action.

    Last week saw Sammy Bach put his body on the line to secure a spot in the 6-way fight for the Unified Title. Who will step forward to claim the second spot this week?

    Welcome to the Dangerzone!

    </div>

    Main Event

    Ricky Dale Johnson vs BUFF

    BUFF's brutal attack of RDJ months back in TCW put 'The Last Real Cowboy' out of action, but the TCW legend has vowed to find revenge. Perhaps BUFF thought he was save from Ricky in DAVE but the 3x TCW World Heavyweight Champion is entering the Dangerzone!

    Marc Speed vs Elliot Thomas

    'The Speedball' takes on 'Super Flight' in what promises to be an exciting match up. Marc is the much more experienced fighter but Elliot will surely be hoping to make an impact too on his DAVE debut.

    Edd Stone vs Eddie Peak

    Despite losing in last week's main event, Peak reportedly demanded fresh meat to enjoy. Edd Stone, who also lost requested a holiday. Only 1 man got what they wanted but which will come away with a momentum shifting victory?

  14. Oh poor Acid II that sounds a pretty nasty way to go!

    Glory was great, I feel like I got most my predictions right which hopefully means I've followed it long enough now not to be making awful choices, although I was expecting Tom and not Garg which hurt me.

    Surprised to see Trent in the main event but perhaps I've missed some of his biggest pushes. Hopefully even if Gino's reign is short he's able to establish himself higher up the card.

  15. Main Event

    Eddie Peak vs Sammy Bach

    This first DAVE has to serve to establish Sammy Bach as the most the DAVE Figurehead, and although I think this match would serve better as the World Title Match, I think is the perfect way to begin this new chapter of DAVE, but I think this match wont end cleanly so we can get a rematch.

    I was a little wary of putting such a huge match up on the weekly show. My thinking was A) with it being the first show it has to have something special and b) because this is an A show I'm sort of forced to put on some big matches early on. Hopefully in time I can build people up or learn to rely on angles for grades, but at the moment there aren't too many people who I can rely on to give be at least a B-/B match main event which I really need every week.

    DAVE Tag Team Titles

    The New Wave vs The Canadian Animals

    Technically, The New Wave are the tag champions because they never lost this titles, but even if they arent considered tag champs, it just makes the most sense for them to win, as the classic DAVE team of excellence, should be the ones to bring back the tag champions instead of some TCW Guys.

    I appreciate the DAVE knowledge! I did debate whether to even call it a new reign or simply have them debut on the show with the tag titles, it would perhaps just seem out of character for Vibert to gift them the belts or anything like that.

    American Buffalo vs Titan

    This one is the most curious match, as this is a Heel vs Heel match, so I dont know if this is a usual DAVE thing and Disposition wont be that big of an issue or one of them is turning face, that between this two has to be american buffalo, so Im excited to see where this leads.

    Yes I didn't want to change TCW product too much but if I'm honest I rarely enjoy playing with the face/heel divide on. I always liked the option to have a soft divide as that's exactly what I like. I want there to be good guys and bad guys but most people in between. I like keeping small rosters and it just stops things getting repetitive.

    Excellent. Cant wait for you to explore characters more and add some more depth to DAVE but the episode episode was great. I really do think that this has potential to be a fantastic dynasty, particular as you adapt to changes. Can't wait until Eddie Peak becomes flabby in TEW, I would like to see if you make that change in 2K too, haha.

    Good stuff.

    Thanks for the comments. I think trying to add depth whilst keeping the actual writing fairly brief is the main challenge I have really, hopefully in time it comes.

    100% the ability to adapt is one of the reasons I've gone with 2k. I have actually asked a couple of people already to change size so if that goes bad we could have plenty of flabby people around. But even little stuff like people changing their attire or haircuts every so often I'm hoping will just make it all feel more real. I know there is one gimmick change in particular I'm really looking forward although it's a while ahead.

    Predictions for the next shows will be up soon. I'm not certain exactly what it will be but there will be prizes for the most correct. In fact what I said above has given me a few ideas, maybe something like being able to pick a new outfit or haircut for someone. I'm not sure if that just sounds awful?!
