It's a cool roster, will be especially strange to see a single young buck alone in the world. </p><p> </p><p>

I can't make my mind up on TYB, I sort of share BHK1978's opinion, at least I used to. But they have started to win me over. I'd say I like THEM but aren't really a fan of their style. I must admit I liked OC's spot on All Out but I can imagine him getting old fast.</p>

  3. <p>I love how you've made a poll to see which option is preferred and they are currently tied! I suppose it's still useful though to know that either way plenty of people will be happy. Of course I'd say go with what you'd like, although one thing I'd say is I got the impression you maybe wanted to change things up because you weren't sure if people were enjoying the WWE/WCW/ECW thing. Hopefully the poll shows this not to be the case. </p><p> </p><p>

I agree with Kijar that 205 could be cool. But again I'd just be worried that 4 shows could be too much.</p>

  5. <p>NOTBPW Television Title Match: </p><p>

'The Amazing' Jacob Jett [vs] 'Notorious' Sayeed Ali © [vs] <strong>Seeker</strong></p><p>

Comments: Hard to call as I can very much see the C2CC keeping the title on Ali. But I'd also imagine Jett & Seeker's feud got plenty of time to have propel at least one of them to something, so perhaps it's this.</p><p> </p><p>

    Grudge Match: </p><p>

<strong>Dan DaLay, Robin DaLay & Sonny Wildside</strong> [vs] Logan DeColt & The CanAm Blondes</p><p>

Comments: I've been enjoying the DaLay's recently, CamAm blondes must also be getting mighty old so losing on the biggest stages seem more likely for them.</p><p> </p><p>

    NOTBPW Canadian Title Match: </p><p>

'Magnificent' Gino Montero © [vs]<strong> 'Mainstream' James Hernandez</strong></p><p>

Comments: Perhaps a surprise here, especially as I know you have enjoyed being able to rely on Gino for good grades. </p><p> </p><p>

    Bonus: </p><p>

1). Which Match will be the Match of the Night?: Main event</p><p>

2). What will the Overall Rating of the show be?: 94(within 5 is a point. Spot on is 2 points)</p><p>

3). Who will interfere in the Gino Montero/James Hernandez Title Match?: Spencer Spade, thinking maybe it was Jimmy he was on the phone to.</p>

Looking forward to seeing what kind of grade Punk can pull out of Siaki. Who knows perhaps this is all your fault for not switching his gimmick, maybe this is just his 'die Rocky die' phase and once you change his gimmick they'll be no limit to who the Siakolypse can destroy!</p>

  7. I realise it’s a big change from the original concept, but when there’s not much of a response, it’s difficult to gauge what people like and dislike about the product. Also, I always stand by the fact that I need to make any adjustments to my writing as necessary if it means I personally enjoy it more, which I feel I will, and hopefully in turn others will too.

It’s a change, but in terms of production and future plans, one that will be for the better.

I respect the decision, I definitely agree that you got to go with whatever would help you enjoy the writing process the most. I think you differentiated the products really well so I will be sad to see them go. That said I got faith that NXT/205 live will also feel like their own products.

Not going to lie I'm surprised myself at the amount of response this is getting. I mean it is getting plenty but WWE diaries normally get the most and this is definitely one of the best in a long time any way you measure it. You might just have loads of lurkers but I understand without direct feedback it's hard to know what's going down well or not.

I suppose my only feedback with your future plans is I'd make sure to keep NXT/205 and maybe even the main shows short. Just because 16 shows in between PPVs can feel like a lot to read and I'm sure feels like a lot to write!

This Tuesday on The POP! Network, Danger and Violence Extreme presents the most unmissable 90 minutes of action.

Just 48 hours removed from The Elimination Chamber, the fallout is here. After the punishment suffered at the PPV it's likely plenty of stars will be unable to compete, that said it is still shaping up to be an intriguing show. Will we hear why Floyd decided to screw BUFF? How will Freddy be without his long term friend and tag partner? There are plenty of other questions that we'll hopefully get answers too but none more important than those surrounding DAVE's newest acquisition, Marat Khoklov.

    Welcome to the Dangerzone!

    </div>

    Main Event

    Marat Khoklov vs ???

Khoklov shocked the world with his debut, and wasted no time making an impact. With some brutal ground and pound he busted open the newly crowned champion and ended the show the sole man stood after the events of the chamber.

    Titan vs Bulldozer

Fresh from a huge, career defining victory over BUFF, Titan has a big match against fellow heavyweight Bulldozer. The C.O.N.T.R.A man lost his debut match against The New Wave but the appearance of the mysterious masked woman hinted that there is more than meets the eye to this team.

    Freddy Huggins vs Elliot Thomas

Freddy has earned a future Unified Title show but did so at the expense of his partners DAVE career. Will this hang heavy on his shoulders or will he use this as a stepping stone to launch the next step in his own career?

  9. I will answer today later, sorry for the delay I simply havent had internet connection this few days

Don't worry take your time! I can be write up the next show before having to go forward and book ot in game.

Predictions for that should be up soon.

I also forgot to address Edd, I know he's a favourite of a lot of people (myself included) but I've got a story for Freddy I want to tell that needed that.

In a perfect world Edd will go to TCW, work hard, finally rise up the card and return to DAVE in the future.

A main reason I love your diaries is the announcer can state that just as a matter of fact, almost throwaway line and yet it completely fits in! </p><p> </p><p>

I agree than an episode mostly centered around Bobby Thomas sounds bland in theory but it honestly did sell me on him... not that I think he should ever get your world title, but enough that it made that episode interesting. I'm also enjoying Grease Hogg... which is weird to say. I'll still always pop for the BACKFIST ever since it was built up really early on in your last CGC.</p><p> </p><p>

Promo time I'd vote for Sayed Ali. Or if you weren't planning on him having on the show yet, I'd go Skip before his title match.</p><p> </p><p>

I completely get the idea that the chamber was an opportunity for them to fight but neither pin the other but because that's already happened a few times now, I wanted to story to move on. So Bach gets the pin, although not exactly in a dominant fashion)</strong></span></em><em> which the top title never should, so I feel that for now Peak and Bach are doing better without it, so that leaves me with Ricky Dale Johnson and Danny Fonzarelli, and I was so close to picking Fonzarelli predicting a swerve, and I actually believe he will hold the title before the year is over, </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>(that's interesting, certainly possible it depends a lot on the grades he pulls in upcoming months)</strong></span></em><em> but for right now he falls under the same problem as Speed, a little bit easier than with speed but still the same problem, also he is still in some kind of feud with Huggins and Stone, first lets finish that feud and let him move to bigger and better thing, then we can speak about a title run, but for now he falls short, so I that leaves RDJ, who I think he is winning, because firstly out of character he is the most over member of your roster, second he isnt really inside a feud so once he wins you have a clean slate on choosing who he works with, now on character, third he is a veteran, who is in his last run, he deserves a last world title to his name, and this might be his last ever chance, also I can see Vibert giving it to him as a kind of thank you for voluntering to go to DAVE, and to show this new side of DAVE different to that of 2007 and that would be easier to convey if the champion isnt a DAVE alumni, or I can see Kyle Rhodes moving some strings and pressuring Vibert to put the title on RDJ. </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>(Pretty much all these reasons, it's like people are giving AEW flak for Jericho being first champion, and I get it completely, perhaps the new era of DAVE needs a young future star at the top, but I also like the idea of an established veteran being the only one who I can really trust at this early stage, especially grades wise, because I'm an A show and on a big tv deal now, my minumum requirements are so high that it limits who I can put in main event spots, at least for now. The main reason I went with RDJ though will become much more apparent over the next 2 or 3 weekly shows.)</strong></span></em></p><p> </p><p> DAVE Tag Team Titles</p><p> <strong>The New Wave</strong> vs C.O.N.T.R.A</p><p> </p><p> <em>Now in this match you put me in a very difficult situation, because there are cases to be made for both teams to win the tag titles, firstly The New Wave, it makes more sense for them to win, because they are the most popular team in this match and in your roster (not counting the L.A. Connection that are an inactive team), they just won the titles in the revival, and are the most iconic DAVE team, as much as I talk of this new side of DAVE, Phil still needs something for the classic DAVE fans who maybe arent trusting of this version of DAVE to hang on to, to show them the DAVE they loved is still part of it, and with the acheivement of this being their 10th tag title reign (fifth of DAVE) it would feel disrespectful to end this milestone title reign so soon, but theres also a case to be made for C.O.N.T.R.A. firstly they come with all this hype behind them, they are supposed to be long term threats for The New Wave, and winning the title on their first match would give them instant credibility and could get them over fast, and for a promotion like DAVE even if you have no actual divide, is more common to have the "heel" champions with the "face" challengers, as even with no divide, you know that the fans are all going to be behind the new wave, but here is the thing there are some downsides for both winning, first if C.O.N.T.R.A. wins, it makes the new wave seem weak and like some wimps that cant manage one title defense and maybe even as some has beens, and it would give them a hit to their popularity and their momentum gain from returning home, as the challengers arent that built up or known, but if they new wave wins it makes C.O.N.T.R.A. seem like they are all bark no bite, that they only can win with behind attacks but that in a fair match they are no rival for the champs, also it takes away from this mysterious aura of them, and takes away from their momentum for this kind of debut, also it might be hotshoting them because they dont have a good level of popularity, on the DAVE roster, they might be only be over Courtney and Thomas but I dont see them being more popular than anyone else, they need to be built up, before being actual threats also is a risk because they are untested in a week to week environment only working in the independents and in japan, they might not be as good as you expect or they could flounder in this new environment with all this expectation, but if I choose the New Wave is because I found a way around it, have The New Wave win by DQ, after C.O.N.T.R.A. purposely DQ themselves, it keeps the titles on the new wave, and doesnt make them take a popularity hit, but it also protects C.O.N.T.R.A., because they end the match with the upper hand, you show them as deciding not to take the titles but they could if they want, maybe with a promo after the match or on the next TV you can introduce them as not looking for the titles, but only looking to hurt people, maybe have them beat the new wave with weapons and take them off tv to prove their point, and makes them not have to be beat cleanly so their momentum stands, and the mysterious aura grows larger, this might be the way for everyone to come out of this unscathed. </em><em><span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong> (Yeah you're definitely right that my dilemma was how to keep C.O.N.T.R.A strong as they essentially couldn't win. I wouldn't want to make New Wave weak champs, and pop wise they would have kicked off in game. The introduction of the 3rd mask and the whole hand imprint thing I'd like to think is a creative way around it. Some might think it's a bit too supernatural/'out there' for DAVE but it was one of the first storylines I had planned and I'm hoping I can make it fit well.)</strong></span></em></p><p> </p><p> Street Fight</p><p> <strong>BUFF</strong> vs Titan</p><p> </p><p> <em>It hasnt been one month since their last match, I dont feel Titan has grown enough it that time to make him ready for a win, I feel this feud is mostly to continue builiding BUFF, as he is one of your top talents and maybe even have him be the first rival of the new champ, as he is going to be the only one on that rank to come out of the PPV with a win, while the rest lost, I see good things in the future of Titan with Goldworthy at his side, but tonight he does the honours for the more established BUFF, and Titan can return to the midcard while BUFF competes in the main event.</em> <span style="color:#FF0000;"><strong>I knew this decision might be more divisive. But I've always known the plan is for BUFF/Floyd to part ways (there's the odd small hint early on I seem to remember). My thinking is BUFF winning essentially keeps everything the same. BUFF with Floyd in the upper midcard, Titan someone lower down. I wanted to progress things, so now BUFF is still in the upper midcard as he only lost through being screwed out, but now he's finally got some character development, whereas Titan has now been thrusted from low card rookie right up to Floyd's one and only client which in kayfabe is a pretty big spot. I'd still say I consider BUFF higher up the card, but now both have storylines going forward.</strong></span> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> Hope people enjoy the show, definitely the single post I've spent longest on ever. You don't know how frustrating it is to try and get 6 people in the Elimination Chamber to 'pose' in the right positions for photos! Just as an insight into the stuff I have to deal with... so you can only have an Elimination Chamber match in the Elimination Chamber arena on WWE2k19, so this meant two things first I had to create a new arena for the other matches so that it matched as close as possible the main event, and then in the main event I had to avoid the 10+ massive 'WWE' signs all over the place (in the rafters, on the titantron, on the turnbuckles, on the referee etc) as having the WWE logo in the background would annoy me. I THINK I managed to avoid it. Anyway although I'm venting it was actually fun. </p><p> </p><p> Should get back to posting shows quicker now. I imagine it will probably stay like this. Weekly shows posted fairly often and quick, but then a longer gap to give me chance to do the PPV slowly. </p><p> </p><p> One thing in game I really loved... I made the chamber have a high injury risk as I wanted it to be not just dangerous in kayfabe but to have a real aura around it that the wrestlers push themselves to their limits inside it. But this resulted in two injuries... one of which was Noughty Boy blowing an eardrum... I don't want to spoil anything but this fits so perfectly into where his story is going. Peak also broke his wrist so it's definitely going to be remembered as a dangerous event. </p><p> </p><p> Looking forward to the next few weeks as there is quite a few important moments both for storylines and character development. I feel like the first few weeks I was restricted to write most wrestlers as they would act in TCW, but now I'm giving myself more freedom and it will soon hopefully feel a lot more unique. </p><p> </p><p> So <strong>Neslo</strong> picked out the Spike Piledriver and Dominator as the finishers for C.O.N.T.R.A. Unfortunately I don't have the DLC (I'm a real idiot as when I bought WWE2k19 I could have gotten the season pass for like an extra pound as it was all massively discounted, but didn't notice until after the sale). So I've had to pick moves that were as close to Nelslo's choices as possible. Because that makes it a pretty crappy prize I'm also letting him choose Khoklov's finisher (I'm sure he has a cannon one, I've stuck to cannon finishers for most wrestlers, getting them from WreSpi, but I feel like if Neslo thinks it's appropriate it's realistic that Khoklov would debut a new move in a company he has never been before).</p><p> </p><p> Congrats to Multigames for winning both the PPV prediction and the full month one. <strong>For the PPV win you can name the 3rd mask </strong>(the lady who effectively controls C.O.N.T.R.A). In game this is actually Little Miss Sunshine... I basically just wanted anyone without a big name that has sex appeal. My thinking is the less popular they are the most willing they would be to dye their hair and wear a creepy mask. BTW I have gone with your suggestions for Bulldozer and Bruiser but for now I've left out the nationality bit.</p><p> </p><p> And for winning the monthly prediction contest you get to make a fairly big decision regarding the roster...</p><p> </p><p> So TCW alumni Rick Law's contract has run down at USPW. He has accepted my contract offer but I've not yet finalised the deal. So you get to decide whether to...</p><p> </p><p> A) Leave him to focus on new starts</p><p> B) Sign him but send him to TCW for now</p><p> C) Sign him and bring him to DAVE (if you do this it could mean a need to send someone back to TCW to balance the roster)</p><p> </p><p> You're also more than welcome to decide any gimmick changes for him, any motivation for him joining TCW/DAVE, starting storylines etc. </p><p> </p><p> To give you some background for the decision...</p><p> </p><p> Rick Law is a 33 year old USPW main eventer. At B- popularity he would come in straight into our main event although wouldn't be quite at the level of Golden/Hawkins/RDJ/Bach/Vessey. </p><p> </p><p> He works the style of an 'entertainer' which perhaps doesn't fit TCW or DAVE but he does have good entertainment and brawling skills. He's also 56 at hardcore which would put him in the top 7 or 8 on the roster. </p><p> </p><p> He's never won a world title but did win the hardcore, international and tag titles in his TCW run. Since joining USPW he has won their National title twice and had a run with their tag belts. </p><p> </p><p> A major downside to this though is that because he was wanted by SWF, USPW, NOTBPW and I think SOTBPW too to get him to accept our offer I've had to offer him 32,000 a month. This would actually make him my 2nd highest paid wrestler after Rocky Golden. Which to say he's only at a B- in US is probably over paying. I like to keep my finances in check, although with the new tv deals we are making good money. </p><p> </p><p> If you decide NOT to sign Law, I'll still give you the chance to decide how the next person debuts (unless I've already got major plans for them). </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>SPOILERS FOR THE PPV ABOVE</strong></p>
  12. You're from Lancaster? I was born in Oldham so I knew I wanted him to be a Lancastrian and The Lancaster Bomber sounded like such a cool nickname.

Thanks for reading. I've been playing this save for at least four years so I wanted to tell some of the stories I came up with. Hopefully Hawke Jr. can make some impact in the wrestling world before the new game comes out and I start again with Hawke Sr.

Any predictions for the first Mighty Cup winner?

That's right. There is also an ale called Lancaster Bomber but never tried it actually. It's a better name for a wrestler than an ale anyway!

I'll go with Barenhaft as that's a badass render.

Ever since DAVE's revival, every man on every show has had one clear focus... winning a spot in this historic match that will crown the first DAVE Unified Champion of the new era. Essentially every fight and rivalry has been centered around this one single match. 6 men enter, but which one will leave the champion?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;">The Masked Men effectively answered the champions challenge by attacking them both during the last DAVE main event. We now have a name for these intimidating men, but no words, no motives. They seem to hope their actions will do the talking but do they realise they are stepping into the ring with who many now believe to be the most dominant tag team on the globe?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Pure disaster for Floyd Goldworthy, his two clients are being pitted against one another and both will be more than happy with this development. Noughty Boy is a really great use of Biggins, he was the one guy I was a bit skeptical of being in DAVE, but his introduction under the new gimmick has been great. I think I've said it before, but using the WWE game is such a good addition. All the character are being fleshed out really well, and the game helps with that greatly.<p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks! I loved the TCW roster in TEW 2013 and in 2016 Biggins and Speed were two people (actually along with DDD) that I never really used just because I guess I 'knew' and felt loyal to people on the 2013 roster like The Machines, Benson, New Wave etc. So it's a little ironic that these people, along with Fonz who I also never cared for have ended up being fairly big characters in this. I suppose that's the beauty of running a promotion like this. (Much like your ECW one I'd say). </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> I don't like to post in between shows too much to bump the thread but just an update, back from holiday. Actually a day early because who knew camping in a hot field with a bunch of 16 year olds isn't as fun as it was when you were actually 16! (no offense to any 16 year olds reading). Was at Leeds festival and although it in general it was a fun weekend shit REALLY hit the fan on the Sunday night so we all noped out of there and came home early. Anyway this means I'll be getting the show posted in the next few days so predictions will be up tomorrow. </p><p> </p><p> Reason I'm posting now though is Neslo has come up with some good choices for The Masked Men's new finishers, but has given the choice of name over to you all. I realised I wanted to get the names sorted before I actually do the show in game just to avoid the tiny immersion breaker when I post the in game grades and it has their normal C-verse names. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>So any suggestions for names would be appreciated! </strong>Just to remind people it's for Findlay O'Farraday and Bulldozer Brandon Smith. At the moment their characters are essentially two big men with weird masks who like to cause problems for The New Wave, I'd love to give you more info on their backstory to help influence the names but I'd prefer to avoid spoilers. And by names I mean both/either their individual names and/or their tag team names. </p><p> </p><p> If I get no suggestions I'll just make a poll with whatever awful stuff I can think up.</p>
  16. <p>Really enjoyed catching up on this, once again the narratives really stand out as brilliant. Can we get a post of you singing the entirety of 'Even the Devil gets the blues' please?</p><p> </p><p>

In all seriousness though it would be cool if the album caught off in the c-verse and CWL suddenly had a bona fide music star on the roster. Although I imagine he'd then chose music full time over wrestling.</p>

  17. Main Event

I think speed has big things ahead of him in DAVE. He has that Eric Tyler school of tradition vibe given his skill set.

Yeah I see what you mean there, in a way he doesn't fit in at DAVE but that's half his appeal. Hopefully he can live up to your big things expectations!

I think the men are big bruiser findlay and bulldozer brandon smith. Decent hardcore, brawling and mic skills from the start.

    Correct!

    Main Event

Eddie Peak vs BUFF vs Scout vs Guide vs Freddy Huggins

Reallistically there are only two possibilities to win, Eddie Peak or BUFF, honestly Im actually surprised one of them isnt in the chamber but hey I get it you cant always put everyone in one match you also need some other matches for the PPV, and I think the other 3 dont have actual chances because The New Wave has already a match on PPV defending their tag team championships against the unknown team and I doubt they will pull double duty in the end, the other is freddy huggins and I dont see him entering the match since the canadian animals very clearly are being depushed mostly with the new wrestlers coming in, they obviously arent jobbers mostly because you are short on tag teams but I dont think they will stay on the spotlight, they are only here as bodies to use as needed to further the feuds, so we are left with BUFF and Peak, and I predict Peak will enter the chamber for two reasons first his rival is in there and it would make sense for Peak and Bach to be on the Cell given their feud and they are two of your top 3 guys, and the second reason is because i predict BUFF will have an important match on the PPV agaisnt Titan, in a feud of their own to have more interesting matches, so it seems logical because everything fits.

Whilst Huggins was considered, just because Dr Love is in the chamber, you're right about most of this!

'The Last True Cowboy' Ricky Dale Johnson & 'Dr Love' Danny Fonzarelli vs 'The Speedball' Marc Speed & Noughty Boy

This one its more difficult mostly because I dont see it making a difference on the result of the chamber so Im simply going with the most popular and pushable guys, while making the midcarders lose.

Dazzling Dave Diamond vs DAVE Alumni

I think DDD should be winning this one, first because it seems he is getting pushed very early on as someone who could be a big deal and this could be a way for Phil Vibert to send a message, that the fans of TCW shouldn fear DAVE, that now DAVE is an ally of them and that is a place where workers can go to go with their careers in a different approach and be succesful as the fear could be that Vibert would bring the DAVE originals in with his new money and job the former tcw workers to them and just be again the show it was in 2007, Vibert needs to show this new version of DAVE has a way and an objective and that it isnt just a nostalgia show, Hardcore has changed in 9 years and Vibert wants to show something unique his own new version of DAVE than can evolve and last where the old version could not. An interest reason, makes a lot of sense. If I were to do more Viberts Vlog (which I hopefully am at some point) this dynamic about TCW guys vs Former/New DAVE guys makes sense for something to create drama backstage.

Currently revealed clues for the mystery men prediction contest

    -Both White Americans

    -Both above Middleweight

-They have experience teaming up but have never won titles together

I know is American Demolition as my research has led me to them with the parameters makes them the most sensible choice, but someone else already predicted that before me so it makes no sense for me to pick the same as if they have it right only they have the prices and if they are wrong I also predicted wrong, so my only choice is pick another team hoping the other comment is wrong, so the only other team that fills the parameters is: Painful Procedure (Randall Hopkirk and Ronnie V. Pain {Man Mountain Cahill})

It's a shame you just weren't quick enough! If it's any consolation you have definitely won the monthly prediction contest so you'll be getting that prize soon!

    Congratulations to Neslo!

For guessing correct you can pick both of their finishers. If it isn't a move that is in WWE2k19 I'll have to just pick something close to it (as I sort of need it to be in the game for pictures).

Also they aren't supposed to be called simply 'The Masked Men' for long. So if you like you can also name them. Feel free to PM or just respond on here as it's not exactly a spoiler you'd be giving away.

Other people feel free to suggest finishers/names, perhaps some inspirations and options might help Neslo decide.

So that was the last show before the PPV. Card will be posted soon for predictions but the show itself might be a good week away, perhaps a little more. Mostly because I'm not away until Monday, and also because I want to make sure it's done well and I don't rush it.
