We kicked off the show in the same way as we did last week... With SWF Owner Jerry Eisen, his Brother Eric Eisen, and Eric's fiancée Emma Chase all stood in the ring... Jerry had a microphone, while Eric and Emma stood behind him, holding hands... Looking like they knew what Jerry was about to say... Jerry Eisen: “Ladies and Gentlemen... As I said last week, the time has come for Supreme TV shows, and Pay-Per-Views, to be managed by a 'General Manager'... I wanted someone who knows this company very, very, well... I wanted someone I could trust... And I wanted someone with charisma, and that kind of 'wrestling mind'... to make this show the best it can possibly be each week... but also to APPEAR on the show from time to time!!” Every time Jerry mentioned a skill or attribute he was looking for, Eric seemed to grow in stature... Emma patted him on the back each time, as if they expected Eric to be the man named as the new General Manager...!! Jerry Eisen: “So... Ladies and Gentlemen... it gives me great pleasure to announce... That with the backing of the Board of Directors... a former SWF World Heavyweight Champion will take over the running of the shows... So please... give a warm welcome... to a man who retired from in-ring competition a little while ago... JACK... BRUCE!!” The former 7-time SWF World Heavyweight Champion came through the curtain to a huge ovation... the likes of which this company hasn't seen for over six months (when Bruce retired)... Bruce shook Jerry's hand, but Eric and Emma didn't stick around for the formalities... looking extremely upset by Jack's appointment... But the 'Rock Star' didn't care... After six months out of the spotlight, this was his moment... He was quick to say that he's not returning to wrestle though... Jack Bruce: “My career was... It was the perfect journey, for me... I will respect the fact that Rocky Golden beat me, and my in-ring career is over... Tonight's not about me... I'm here to help... I'm here to make the shows amazing, with all the amazing talent this company has at its disposal... Starting with, Nothing To Lose... A very important Pay-Per-View... particularly with the Number One Contender for the SWF World Heavyweight Title: The Crippler, out injured...!!” Bruce booked two matches for tonight: Valiant versus Remo Richardson for the NEW Number One Contender for the SWF World Heavyweight Title... and ZWB versus Jimmy Hernandez for a shot at the SWF North American Title... He then made mention of a Six-Way Ladder Match scheduled for Nothing To Lose... called 'Everything To Gain'... and said he'd be periodically naming the six competitors over the next couple of weeks!! (more on that later)... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #fafbff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Joey Morgan [vs] 'The Radioactive Wrecking Machine' Atom Smasher Two excellent in-ring performers here, but the match turned into more of a fight than anything. Atom Smasher has so far taken out Steven Parker and Angry Gilmore (two of Joey Morgan's stable-mates), and American Machine this year, and Morgan was determined to make sure he didn't become Smasher's fourth victim of his 2020 path of destruction. Morgan started on the front foot, going after Smasher in the corner, but the referee intervened and it allowed Smasher to gain an unfair advantage with a low looking kick! The match was a short but furious one, with Smasher winning it in the end with his 'Mushroom Cloud'. 74 Winner: 'The Radioactive Wrecking Machine' Atom Smasher Finish: 'Mushroom Cloud' (Piledriver) </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Back And Angry After the match was done, it quickly became clear that Arom Smasher wasn't... He slid out of the ring, and began stripping the announce table... Ready to send Joey Morgan THROUGH the table!! Morgan tried to fight Smasher off of him, but having just wrestled a fast-paced match, not to mention the 'Mushroom Cloud' he just took courtesy of Smasher, meant that he had nothing left to give... It quickly became clear that he was going to go through the table if nobody helped him... Luckily for Morgan... Angry Gilmore was BACK tonight...!! Gilmore sprinted to the ring, and Atom Smasher got out of there as quickly as he could...!! Morgan was saved from going through the announce table, this time... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Slap Stick Comedy The Rat Pack were sitting in their usual drinking spot – a cocktail bar... Monty Trescarde, Paul Huntingdon and Justin Sensitive were laughing at a story Hollywood Bret Starr was in the midst of telling... Hollywood Bret Starr “And then I said... You think that's impressive... Hold my Vodka Cranberry...!!” Trescarde and Huntingdon were smart enough to laugh at their leader's joke... But Justin Sensitive didn't... A fact that Bret took personal offence to...!! So much so, that he SLAPPED his stable-mate around the back of his head, causing him to spit out the small sip of drink he'd just taken... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #fafbff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Masked Patriot & Matty Faith [vs] Sammy Smoke and Makutsi Last week, Sammy Smoke slapped Matty Faith, and he beat Masked Patriot two weeks ago too. He refused to reveal his partner for this match until he made his way to the ring. The Vicious Makutsi came out, and he dominated the fan favourites. In the end, 'The African Assassin' hit the 'Out Of Africa' cutter on Faith. 52 Winners: Sammy Smoke and Makutsi Finish: 'Out Of Africa' Cutter </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Dragon Dollars We cut to the Men's Locker room next, where Mikey Lau and Brandon James were talking... There was a large amount of mutual respect between the two fan favourites... Mikey asked 'Big Money' about his continuing feud with Randy Unleashed and co... and Brandon responded by saying he's going to teach all three of those little punks some valuable lessons... But as they were talking, in walked Jack Bruce!! Jack Bruce: “Boys... I saw what you did at When Hell Freezes Over, and I gotta say... you make a great team... But I see you both as potential SWF World Heavyweight Champions... 'Big Cat'... You've been a loyal servant to the Supreme Wrestling Federation, and have only had one reign in 13 years... 'Dragon'... 5 years here, and you're reaching your prime... To take the 'next step', I'm entering you BOTH into the Six-Man, Everything To Gain, Ladder Match for the Nothing To Lose Pay-Per-View... Good luck!!” We're going to have a full explanation of the rules for the Ladder Match next week...!! </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #fafbff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> #1 Contenders Match: 'The Show Stealer' ZWB [vs] 'Mainstream' Jimmy Hernandez SWF North American Champion Des Davids joined the announce team for this one, hoping to scout his future opponent from the best seat in the house. He was lucky enough to witness a superb bout, featuring two future megastars of the Supreme Wrestling Federation. ZWB and Hernandez fought hard, both wanting to go on to Nothing To Lose and fight Davids, but in the end, things broke down on the outside of the ring. Right in front of Davids, ZWB hit a beautiful springboard moonsault from the apron to the floor, and Davids was in awe. Unfortunately for ZWB though, the referee's count was already at 8 as he landed the move, and he couldn't get in to the ring in time to break the count, meaning both men were counted out!! Davids smirked as he walked off with his Title Belt over his shoulder. 81 Winner: DRAW Finish: 'Double Count-Out' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Supreme Conversation Backstage, Squeaky McClean was standing by for an interview with both Spencer Spade and Dulce Moreno... Rogue: “I... Crippled... The Crippler...” Clip: Hannah leaving Valiant in the trainer's room last week... telling him she's moving on from managing him... Rogue: “I made sure the man who calls himself 'Every Woman's Dream' is all alone... No Hannah backing him up any more...” Clip: Rogue winning the SWF World Heavyweight Championship three times (once from Valiant, and twice from Jack Bruce)... Rogue: “Nobody has ever beaten Jack Bruce for TWO World Championships... except for ME... Call me a 'Scoundrel'... Call me 'Player'... Call me a 'Rat'... Call me whatever you want... I have PEDIGREE... and I... Crippler... Valiant and Remo... Rogue is the biggest name on the SWF Roster... He's just one win away from that kind of a spot... Maybe he fights whoever doesn't win tonight, and gets to a Title shot that way...?!” Franklin Fumier: “All I know is, Valiant, and Crippler when he's back, will be gunning for Rogue... He is playing a dangerous game, and making a LOT of enemies...” Duane Fry: “We don't know for sure how long Crippler is gonna be out for guys... At least two months we're being told... They controlled the pace of the match, but they were up against a well-oiled machine in Hawaiian Crush. High Flyin' Hawaiian absorbed a lot of the punishment, and then made the hot tag to Ekuma. Something was different tonight though, as Valiant came to the ring alone. No Hannah in his corner, for the first time for over ten years!! He looked to her for support a couple of times, but she wasn't there. She was shown watching the action backstage on a monitor though, looking like she wished she was still out there. Val was dominated for most of the match, by big Remo, who was determined to destroy his rival, and go on to face Rocky Golden at Nothing To Lose. He did just that, hitting the aptly named 'Destroyer' to finish Val off!! Rocky Golden: “Alright... Remo... I know you've been anticipating this as much as I have... to find out who keeps messing with the lights during my matches... I've given whoever it was a week to come out and face me...!! So... Whoever you are... Get out here... NOW!!” Remo stood up behind Rocky, eager to hear from the person or people responsible... But nobody showed up... Rocky turned to Remo, and they shrugged... Valiant had waited long enough at this point, and began to walk to the back... and that's when Remo struck!! He shoved Rocky into the ropes, and hit his 'Destroyer' finisher as he came back!! The crowd booed, and urged Valiant to turn around and head back, but he was through the curtain and gone... Remo had his way with Rocky, stomping on every body part, and hitting him with his own Championship Belt...!! Rocky was knocked out, as the boos got louder and louder... Remo grabbed a microphone... <p><em>Yeah it sucks, and I had to re-plan a LOT of the Main Event scene, and bring someone in I thought I wasn't going to sign... (you'll see who shortly)... But I'm happy with where things are going! </em><img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> As for 'Crippler's Comeback', I'm torn on it. On one hand, I can just pick up where I had planned for his story to go, and make it start after Supreme Challenge instead of before. But on the other hand, he's let me down with the drugs thing. Do I trust him to hold the Main Title in my company? To carry us, and take us to the next level. To battle USPW and become the undisputed #1 guy in the US?!</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> For a short run in early 2020, yeah. Not a problem. But for him to come back from rehab and get a run as World Champion when I've established a large number of potential Title winners, I'm not so sure.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> There's also the option to bring back Lobster Warrior!! But I'm not sure I'm confident enough in my character-writing abilities to do that. He's pretty unique and special, and I'd want to do him justice.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> I could be just saying all of this of course, and have already made plans to bring him back and win the Title as Lobby. You'll have to read on to find out...</em></p>

It would actually have been his FIRST run as World Champion in SWF, in almost 18 years, and he hasn't held a Belt of any description for 11!! I hadn't thought about the logistics of riding to the ring on horseback. In my head they each had their own horse. I had an idea for them to both have names for their horses. Thinking about it, they're both over 300lbs!! Poor horses. Absolutely! The Tag Team Division in general is something I feel needs building up a little. Hence putting Gilmore and Morgan together. Right now, they're working a feud with Atom Smasher, but eventually they'll be unleashed on the division and will be hard to stop. I also do something interesting with a couple of stables soon too to help grow it.

I'm not ruling out bringing back Lobby for one more run, but the plan is (was) to build Crippler as a major threat to Rocky Golden... He's never been SWF World Heavyweight Champion, in the near 18 year run he's had with the company. He's good enough both in the ring, and on camera, to carry the Belt. If the likes of Remo, Rogue and Valiant are, then so is he! And at 46, with his best years behind him, I wanted to tell that story. Unfortunately, things change for Old Cripps in the coming weeks... You'll see... When I wrote that Squeaky McClean/Rocky Golden interview segment, I felt that Rocky came across really heel like. And again, I won't rule it out one day, despite the amount of merch he brings in as a babyface and (future) figurehead. Is there another player involved with the lights situation? Smasher's size and power gave him a huge advantage in a battle to try to put each other through the announce table, and he overcame Gilmore by waiting for the perfect opportunity. The referee's count was high as Smasher laid prone on the table, so Gilmore had to slide into the ring to break it. When he got back out, Smasher raked his eyes, and then dropped him through the table with a 'Chokeslam'! From that point on it was all Smasher. For the start of the match, Valiant and Remo Richardson paired off in the ring, while Rocky Golden and Rogue took it to the outside and brawled around the ringside area. With Remo in control inside the ring, it wasn't long before Rogue climbed back in to help his former tag team partner Valiant!! Rogue and Valiant assaulted Remo, completely mugging him and keeping him down. The Champion Rocky slid in under the bottom rope moments later, but he too was put down by Val and Rogue – now showing signs of continuity, the likes of which we haven't seen for ten years between the two. Valiant knew not to trust Rogue, but there was a glint in his eye every time they double-teamed one of the big men that made him seem like he was coming around to the idea. He should have kept his eye on Rocky Golden though, because out of nowhere, the big World Heavyweight Champion barrelled into him, sending him out through the ropes. He then proceeded to deliver punches and forearms to Rocky's lower back and kidney area, leaving the World Heavyweight Champion down and in pain. Rogue and Valiant were back up now, and they grabbed Remo, and took him over to the announce desk – recently repaired after Angry Gilmore found himself slammed through it by Atom Smasher earlier in the show! Remo fought them both off though, and managed to hit a big powerbomb on Valiant, through the table! And that was the end of Valiant's night! Rogue looked shocked, but he was soon running for his life to get away from Remo. In a brilliant moment, Rogue fled 'The Beast' by getting into the ring, but then realised what was waiting for him. Rocky Golden grabbed Rogue, and threw him back out to Remo, who caught him in a 'Bear Hug'!! Waiting for a couple of guys who've predicted on both TV shows, so will wait a few hours before posting the show In a roster that is STACKED with talent, including veterans, youngsters, and talent in their prime, Lenny Brown and Des Davids are two very good workers who are behind a lot of names in their respective pecking orders. I make them both something like 7th or 8th most important face or heel for their respective disposition. Too good to be jobbed down, but not good enough to really get that big push. They're both kind of, 'there'. What works in Brown's favour is that he's only 27. Davids is 35 now, so is unlikely to improve much. Jungle's got some talent, right across the board, but at 44, and as low down the card as he is, he's unlikely to be an important name in this diary. Spencer Spade is the ace up my sleeve. 29 years old, and the most charismatic active worker on the roster. He's also more talented than most in most other areas too. I've got an idea and a plan for him, which I don't think many people will have done before with such a talent, so I hope you enjoy it

This is nice thread, with some great thoughts in it. As a long-time diary writer, who mostly plays sports entertainment feds, this is how I do it... Let's say, I just booked and wrote a PPV like, Backlash... and Judgement Day is next... I'll set my Judgement Day card in stone right after I finish writing Backlash. Things happen on the show and in the game, to 'set up' the following month. Injuries, turns, wins, losses, fun little trivial things etc. The RAW or Smackdown after Backlash, I might already have talked about a match coming up 'next week' while booking the previous week. So The Godfather and Test finally have their big match, but there's not enough room for it on Backlash, so it's NEXT WEEK on RAW... I might have also mentioned that The Rock returns from injury, NEXT WEEK on RAW... That's a match and the opening segment booked already, from things that happened previously. While I'm writing Backlash, I'm constantly adding angles and matches to the next TV show too. So Edge and Christian beat The Hardyz by cheating. So on RAW, The Hardyz are going to demand a re-match, that kind of thing. Keep in mind, you have a lot more wrestlers than you do spots on the card. Someone mentioned 7 matches per TV show (I do 6, just because it's quicker to write a diary with 6). I do 7 or 8 at the PPV. So if you have a standard TV show with say, 4 singles, and 3 tags, you end up using 20 wrestlers by my maths? That's an incredible low amount of guys and girls, when a WWE roster can be what, 60? More? So finding creative ways to use people is a must. Rather than just spamming six-mans and eight-mans on TV. They suck! On TV, I like to make sure I have one incredible Main Event (two top guys, not feuding with each other). Maybe you have plans to push Eddie Guerrero to the next level, and he's an upper mid carder. Maybe you're thinking 'Mania next year, he might face The Rock for the Title... So that can be a TV Main Event six months before it, where Rock wins, but Eddie looks amazing. After that, the rest of the TV show can feature lower card guys. I like using tag wrestlers in singles matches on TV. And singles guys in tags too. I almost always have the other partner as the manager (so Edge is Christian's manager and visa versa. Why wouldn't he be?). Two feuds combining into one tag match. Angle and Big Show are in a feud, so are Undertaker and Kane... So Kane and Big Show vs Angle and Undertaker. You can do a segment where Kane's stable takes Undertaker out before the match), then you've got a handicap match, or a limited involvement from Taker. Creativity is the key to keep it fun. As I said, with using 20 guys in matches you've then got 40 guys to find a home for. Unimportant or Recognisable people don't need to be on TV every week for me, so that maybe leaves 20? I think I use 30-40 guys for a TV show. You can do segments where Rikishi cuts a promo on Bradshaw, telling him he'll see him in the ring next week! Rikishi is on screen, Bradshaw isn't. But he doesn't then need to be in any other segment, because he's been talked about. It keeps him fresh, it gives him a rest, it stops him being over exposed. Once you're nearly done booking the show, if you need a tag match to fill a hole, you can always add the APA vs Too Cool, and have Rikishi's promo be post-match and in the ring, saving Too Cool from a beatdown. That kind of thing. Sorry, I've just rambled on there
