Yeah this was me, I was about to post this too Here's a link to the alt thread, where I pretty much changed all retired guys, and some close to retirement guys too. They're mostly on the first few pages.

Oh wow, that's pretty cool about Chuck! I will for sure be trying this with someone. Dane Rowley's been slowly improving for me, going from 67-70 in 7-8 months as a colour commentator. He's only 24 and I love his character/gimmick (Accidental Spoonerisms when he gets excited!!) I had him as a manager in my 21CW Diary back in the day, but his colour stats are improving so well he'll be higher than Jeff in no time! All the 21CW announcers are young enough to still improve. Des Greeves, Steve Smith, and I brought Martin Bloydell in too. Maybe I'll give Konrad a whirl, see whether he works out. He's got 67, 56 and 63 across his entertainment stats, and hasn't improved since the save began. But he's working for UEW who expect 95% matches and 5% angles, so he's hardly had a chance to cut a promo if ever. I've offered him a deal. He seems like he'd be a good fit, and at 29 can still improve.

Nice. See, Tommy's contract came up, and inevitably I was in a four way battle to keep him. I am paying through the nose to have him stay (thank goodness nobody has 'Wage matching' in their deal!! I've managed to get some more guys to Major Star, and when Buff/J-B pays off I'm almost certain Buff will be MS too. Sebastian Koller and Roly Muckletruck are real stand-outs for me as guys I didn't expect to rise so quickly. Konrad's a funny one. His look/selling/athleticism are world class, but I'm looking for entertainment skills from guys I bring in with no pop. He'd just be a jobber sadly in my set up. How do you mean about Chuck's mic stat turning into his colour stat??

I'm currently working on a full brand split as a way to solve a number of issues they have:</p><p> </p><p> - A Cornell on each show will keep them separate for a long time.</p><p> - A lot of regular/familiar names as upper mid card solo acts can be spread across two shows (Cool, Cooper, Jones, Stones, Francis to name a few)</p><p> - The monster heels can be spread better too (Beast, War Machine, Brickhouse, The Hellbound Stable, Doomsday, Badberry etc)</p><p> - The excellent tag division can split in half, and take on some younger teams like Boulder and Flynn, Valence and Herring, and a couple of signings like Future X.</p><p> </p><p> I've brought in Landon Mallory and built his overness up quickly. Joey Beauchamp is a personal favourite of mine and he's my Avatar. I also took the opportunity to sign Rogue when his contract came up. He's 43 (Like Joey) and I put them together as a tag team. Future X, The X Force, Chuck Frisby, Cain Carlisle and Dylan Drama have all come in as enhancement talent.</p><p> </p><p> The two brands will be called 'Mayhem' and 'Fight Club'.</p><p> </p><p> It's been an interesting few months. Managed to get Leigh Burton and Sebastian Koller to join The Cornells and Matravers as 'Major Stars', and Koller just beat Ed for the Title. Then out of nowhere, and with just 71 pop, Roly made it to Major Star too (Faust 81, Orson 77, Hot Stuff 74 are all 'Stars' and way more over than him. Interesting development.</p><p> </p><p> Going forward, I'll be doing the following:</p><p> </p><p> - Focusing Ed Cornell's Stable on getting Burton to the top. Essentially, BW Eddie and Doomsday are bad in non-wrestling segments. Iliakov is too, but he and Beskov come as a package for now. So I've split the stable up within the brand split, and Ed is going to take on Burton as a protege. Eventually it'll lead to some kind of power struggle. Think HHH/Orton in Evolution.</p><p> - Splitting Hot Stuff. Boltinho mentioned it before, but having two of your most reliable guys in a tag team is a waste. They can't win the Belts, because eventually they'd have to drop them and lose a ton of pop. So splitting them makes sense. I like the idea of Kathleen Lee leaving them both to it too as she is mega talented.</p><p> - Bringing along more enhancement 'characters'. Dylan Drama, Chuck Frisby, Cain Carlisle, Alfonso D'Angelo, they all have built in gimmicks. </p><p> - Continue to push Landon Mallory. He's one of my best talkers now, and an all round good egg. I like the look of Marcello Ricci too if I decide to dip further into Europe. They all come in with 0 pop in the UK though, which is a fun challenge. Mallory's up to 60 now in just six months.</p>

But The Rock also came out, and with the referee distracted, he was able to hit 'Rock Bottom' on his rival Undertaker. Austin got into the ring, and Rock 'Rock Bottomed' him too! It wasn't long after that that Triple H would hit his 'Pedigree', which looked awkward as he essentially attempted it one handed! They feel it's the one weak division in their roster, and there are a number of options available to them to improve things. After the Champion Marty Jannetty and his challenger Jerry Lynn battle again at Survivor Series, WWF Fans can expect to see some new faces in the division. Rumours are that current roster members like X-Pac, Spike Dudley and Too Cool could potentially move into the division. Crash Holly has mentioned on television that he could shed the weight needed (around 200lbs) to qualify for a Light Heavyweight Title shot too! Crash was LHW Champion early in 2001, in a pretty forgettable reign. But he's returning to his 400+lb gimmick with his cousins. Will there be new faces from signings, or promotions from developmental to help bolster the roster? Stay tuned on that one, but we're hearing that yes there will be! </div>

Wayne got cocky, and Beaumont capitalised. Now, he was up against a monster in Manhunter – the second Croft Enterprises member across the ring from him. Manhunter dominated proceedings in this match, just like he had in his First Round and Semi Final Matches. However, Beaumont just wouldn't stay down. He kicked out of everything, and ducked the 'Big Foot' (Big Boot) a total of three times, angering the giant beast that he was fighting. On the third Foot avoidance, Manhunter got angry. So angry that he pulled the turnbuckle pad off in one of the corners, and threw it at the referee, earning a stern warning from the official. When he turned around, Beaumont ducked a lariat, and dropkicked the monster in the back, sending him face first into the exposed buckle! Beaumont rolled him up, and he powered out at one, but the Sensational youngster delivered a knee to his opponent's chest! He then hopped up to the top rope, and landed a 'Sensational Splash'!! Undertaker plans to make Jake Roberts famous... but Roberts has said he's already famous, and he's going to take Undertaker to school... 'The Ego-Maniac' waited for the perfect moment to strike, and he slid into the ring when Test and Hardy were down. He started taking them both on and was in total control. There's no denying that with 16 years experience under his belt, and at the age of 36, Undertaker is in his prime right now. Jake is ten years his senior, and moves a lot slower than he used to. 'Taker kicks, and punches, harder than anyone else on the roster, but the rest of his offence is hard to plan for or block. 'Snake Eyes', 'Old School', and a leg drop across the edge of the apron were all used to good effect. Jake fought back well towards the end. He even had 'Taker in position for the DDT, but the big man wriggled free and delivered a big boot to Jake's face. For the finish, 'The American Badass' hit a chokeslam, but it only garnered a two count. Moments later though, a 'Tombstone Piledriver' did for Jake in a compelling match. 'Taker crossed Jake's arms in the pin, and stuck his tongue out for good measure. Eddie Guerrero likes to work in a Lucha Libre style, and 'Latino Heat' openly admits that he cheats to win, and will do whatever it takes to pick up a victory. Razor Ramon is a viscous competitor, and he cheats and does whatever it takes too, but the difference is he wouldn't ever admit it. In another world, they'd be friends, maybe even tag team partners. But here, and now, they are on two sides of a war. As the match wore on, we were reminded of Eddie's actions at the contract signing and weigh-in, where he poked Ramon in the eye! Late on in this match, Ramon returned the favour, and stuck his thumb deep into Eddie's eye. He actually went for the cover while Eddie was struggling to see, but got a 2 count only. Jim Ross: “What the hell was Razor Ramon thinking there gentlemen?! He was never going to win it with a poke to the eye!!” Michael Cole: “I don't think I've ever seen a respectable Main Event level match end with any kind of poke J.R...!” Tazz: “Yeah Eddie's too good to lose to an eye poke... Next you'll tell me Mankind is gonna win the WWF Championship again!!” Eddie was temporarily blinded by the poke, and struggled to gain any momentum from that point onwards. Ramon is a well-travelled veteran, having worked for NJPW most recently, and he used all of his experience to stay in control of the match, albeit a lot of his offence was illegal. Hair pulls, using the ropes for leverage, and even a mule-kick low blow. Nothing was off-limits for 'The Bad Guy'. In the end, Eddie regained his sight, and his composure, and he began to fly around the ring. 'Latino Heat' used the ropes for extra leverage to springboard onto Ramon a number of times, and had his rival on the back foot. For the finish though, Ramon hit a brilliant lariat that flattened Eddie, and flattened the crowd. 'Kishi told Perfect to say what he had to say... but the veteran laid the microphone down and backed away slowly... They all hate each other, but they all have one thing in common; wanting to be WWF Heavyweight Champion! Rock and Triple H have been asked by WWF Commissioner Mick Foley to make sure one of them leaves with the Championship tonight, to end the reign of terror of Austin, but it was easier said than done, as Austin made himself scarce for a long period. He sat at ringside and allowed Rocky and 'The Game' to beat lumps out of one another. Much like Chris Jericho earlier in the night, he picked his spot to come into the match, and began taking care of business. But he was caught by a 'Rock Bottom' from The Rock, allowing all three men time to recover. If Rock had somehow fallen into the pin, he would have won it. But the next thing that happened shocked the entire arena: Mr. McMahon returned, having been off our screens for a number of months!! Jim Ross: “Will someone make sure this man does not cause (Steve) Austin to retain his Championship, again!!” Michael Cole: “Yeah someone has to do something here J.R... Mr. McMahon should NOT be getting involved...” Tazz: “He can do whatever he likes, Cole... This is his Sandbox... We're just playin' in it...!! If he wants to screw somebody, he'll damn well do it!!” Mr. McMahon did indeed get involved and try to screw somebody, as he rounded the ring, and grabbed a steel chair. He wrapped the chair over the head of his own Son In Law: Triple H, before cracking it on The Rock's back. But The Rock didn't feel it as badly as 'The Game' did. He turned around, and pointed at McMahon. Austin was back up at this point, and he defended his boss and biggest advocate. But one man didn't like what he was seeing, and decided to do something about it. Car Crash music hit, and WWF Commissioner Mick Foley headed to the ring, he too was pointing at Mr. McMahon. Vince slid out of the ring, but Foley gave chase. He chased Vince through the crowd and away from the ring, leaving the three original competitors inside it, and ready to finish this. With Triple H down from the chair shot, and Rock and Austin brawling, the match was interrupted again, by a surprising arrival: 'The American Badass' The Undertaker, who was saw beat Jake 'The Snake' Roberts earlier tonight, strolled to the ring alone, and without his bike. He climbed in, and grabbed Triple H by his hair and his wrestling trunks, and threw him out through the ropes! Rock and Austin didn't know who's side 'The Dead Man Walking' was on, so they both got ready for a fight. Taker grabbed Austin by the throat, and then doubled up and grabbed Rocky by the throat with the other hand!! The big man squeezed their necks, and they both dropped down to a knee, but then he released 'Stone Cold'!! Austin stumbled backwards and sat in a corner, while 'Taker lifted The Rock high up into the air with one hand, and then slammed him down almost through the mat with an enormous amount of force.
