1.
I heard a lot of positive news and reviews about Stardew Valley so a friend and I went splitsies and bought it for X1.

It seems to be a very quirky game that I'm not familiar with but it looks almost Pokémon like in it's visual aesthetic.

Anyone else played the game before? What's your thoughts on it?

 2. Figured I'd give this thread a little bump. I'm in June of 2016. About to have PPV before Supreme Challenge next month. Enjoying the save as never played SWF before. Tend not to play C-Verse, usually. At the beginning of the game, I set a lot of the Big player contracts (Lover, Cornell, Bruce, Golden etc.) to random lengths rather than some of the pre-set ones. I moved Welcome To The Jungle to May to keep it like the Royal Rumble;- Winner gets a title shot at Supreme Challenge. After a lengthy 6 month feud with The Crippler, Bruce won the Rumble and will face Remo at SC36 (Bruce isn't in decline yet, even at 43. Result!). Bruce has had Gino Montero, American Warrior (Roger Cage as a Blonde Sting type) and Valiant backing him while Crippler has had Joe Sexy & BSS. Crippler will vs Valiant at SC while Montero & Warrior will vs BSS & Sexy in a loser leaves SWF match Tommy Cornell's contract came up. I've signed him away from 21CW and he'll debut night after SC and challenge Jack Bruce to a Once In A Lifetime match at SC37 (Similar to Cena vs Rock). I've also managed to sign Jay Chord away from TCW. He'll team up with the already established team of Gregory Gauge & Hollywood Starr. The spawn of Sam Keith, Rip Chord & Micky Starr as a stable? Yes, please. An unoriginal idea (Basically Legacy) but still, should be awesome. However, Starr is making it difficult to keep up his push as he's causing incidents every month backstage. Eric Eisen has bumped up to 90 overness across the US. The guy is an absolute stud on the mic in this save. His stable of Emma Chase, Marat Khoklov and, the recently added, Gargantuan are running riot over the SWF. Eisen has been calling out DeBones over the past few months and DeBones has been on the receiving end of several beatdowns. Christian Faith & Bruce The Giant returned to the company as authority figures and personalities. They've received beatdowns too and the challenges have been laid out for SC. Eisen will face off against Christian Faith. Marat will face off against Skull DeBones. Gargantuan will face off against Bruce The Giant. (Gargantuan has been in development for 5 months so this should hopefully won't totally blow but it should be a spectacle). I also recently stole Steve DeColt away from NOTBPW. 42 and not in decline yet? Perfect! He aided Ricky DeColt in capturing the Uprising Title and now he'll be in the mix for the NA belt at SC along with Joey Morgan (Champ), Huntingdon & Brandon James. DeColt is basically under a heel gimmick that's a cross between Mr Perfect & Rick Rude. What's going on in your SWF saves?
 3. I remember seeing and reading occasionally that there used to be a mod for like the 70's or 80's in the C-Verse? Was that released for this TEW or is it in a previous version? Is anybody working on one? I love the 97' C-Verse mod but would love to get more ingrained in C-Verse history by going further back in time.
 4.

Be prepared to throw a lot of money at Piper if you want him to jump ship. With the way the mod is built, Piper ends up being the most popular worker in the world due to his pre-programmed movie-based narratives boosting his overness.

Well, I figured that'll be the case but his relationship with Vince has recently gone from simmering tension to a strong dislike so I'm hoping that'll dissuade him from signing with WWF. If no other companies put in offers, I might just stick him with an exclusive PPA. Softens the blow of a full-blown written contract and still gives me access to him. If I have to bite the bullet and go with a written one, I'll pay out the ass for it because Piper is worth it for me but we'll see.

 5.
87' Golden Age Mod with JCP.

Only 2 months in as I've just finished the Jim Crockett Memorial Cup tournament which was won this year by Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard to continue The Horsemen's reign atop the business.

AA & Tully beat Sweet Sensations (Rocky Johnson & Ron Simmons), Sting & Jimmy Garvin, The Rock'n'Roll Express and then the Super Powers (Dusty & Nikita) on their way to winning the tournament and the $100,000.

I've had a few interesting notes on the chemistry front which is keeping things different. I had big plans for Scott Hall & Curt Hennig as a tag team called Big & Perfect. They've had 5 matches together but have awful chemistry together so it's an unfortunate ding to match ratings. Dusty & Nikita have zero chemistry also but their popularity can carry them over to decent ratings.

Luger & Nikita, however, have great chemistry as opponents so this could lead to an interesting feud over the US title currently held by Koloff. Luger will likely win the feud giving the Horsemen the World title (Flair), the TV title (Tully) and the US Title.

Dusty, my UC, has great chemistry fighting Dick Murdoch which could prove an interesting feud. But Dusty was screwed out of the Crockett Cup by Flair (Super Powers beat Flair & Luger in the semi's) via interference so Dusty is, as always, hell-bent on revenge. The Great American Bash 87' will have the main event of Dusty vs Flair for the World Title which I hope goes as well as I expect it should. (Please have awesome chemistry). I'm also intending on re-creating real life and having several Bash events leading up to the big one.

The only other main storyline at the moment is the everlasting feud between The Midnight Express and The Rock'n'Roll Express. Rock'n'Roll Express recently defeated The Midnight Express to win the NWA World Tag Titles. (Vacated after I sent Rude to rehab so he and Manny Fernandez dropped the belts). Ron Garvin & Barry Windham are the current US Tag champs but I may eventually unify the belts to keep things a bit tidier.

I'm pinning a lot of hopes on stealing Roddy Piper away from the WWF when his contract is up as the big plan for Starrcade 87' is Piper vs Flair as the main event! All in all, thoroughly enjoying this and hoping it could be my first long-term save in years.

 6.
We've just witnessed, possibly, the best duelling promo on WWE this decade.

Cena absolutely ruined Reigns, but that segment was incredible! Reigns cut arguably his best promo to date and Cena just cuts it down like it was nothing.

"It took you 5 years to cut a halfway decent promo"

"You should be ashamed that I'm a part-timer"

"I'm still here because you can't do your job"

Burn after burn.

Best way to sum it up I saw was;

'For Reigns, this was a massive promo and event. For Cena, it was just another Monday.'

Loved it!

 7.
SWF Royal Rumble is replacing Welcome To The Jungle and taking place in May. Same as WWE, winner faces the world champion at Supreme Challenge.

Stories are coming along nicely in 2016. Eric Eisen, Marat Khoklov & Emma Chase are killing it in their stable and are the hottest trio in the company. If Eisen had better SQ he'd be 3rd only to Khoklov & Bruce in the National Battle standings.

Eisen's feud with Skull DeBones has seen he & Khoklov almost obliterate DeBones leaving him off TV & PPV's for 2 months. It's gonna turn into a legends feud. Bruce The Giant has returned to the company on TV as an Authority Figure and is the foil for a lot of Eisen's barbs and has been beaten down by Khoklov. Christian Faith will return as a personality and receive a verbal smackdown by Eisen all leading up to Supreme Challenge;

Eisen vs Faith

Marat vs DeBones

Gargantuan vs Bruce The Giant.

As the legends have better odds, Chase unveils her Ace in the hole to stack the odds back in their favour. All the heels will win at the Challenge. DeBones is in decline where-as Marat & Eisen are not. Gargantuan & Marat will then dominate the Tag Division.

American Warrior (Roger Cage) Gino Montero & Jack Bruce have been feuding with The Crippler, Big Smack Scott & Joe Sexy. Bruce will depart this feud when he wins the Rumble to face Remo at the Challenge and Valiant will take his place. In 4 months, Warrior is now a main eventer and is basically my Sting. Valiant will face The Crippler and Warrior & Montero will face BSS & Sexy in a loser leaves SWF match, due to Sexy's arrogance. Much to the annoyance of BSS

Steve DeColt recently debuted his 'Dashing DeColt' persona and helped Ricky DeColt defeat Marc DuBois for the All-Action title. DeColt is going to enter a feud with Joey Morgan for the NA title as well as Brandon James, Robbie Retro & Paul Huntingdon.

The All-Action title has all manner of people feuding over it. Ricky DeColt, Marc DuBois, Gregory Gauge (w/Sam Keith), Steven Parker, Spencer Spade, Kirk Jameson, El Mitico Jr., Jimmy Hernandez etc. so that division is stacked.

All in all I'm excited and although progress is slow, we're getting there. 2 months out but my card for The Supreme Challenge XXXVI should look like this, avoiding injury & disaster (Faces listed first, winners underlined.);

Jack Bruce vs Remo© (SWF World Title)

Skull DeBones vs Marat Khoklov

Valiant vs The Crippler

American Warrior & Gino Montero vs Big Smack Scott & Joe Sexy (Loser leaves SWF)

Christian Faith vs Eric Eisen

Bruce The Giant vs Gargantuan

Joey Morgan© vs Robbie Retro vs Steve DeColt vs Paul Huntingdon (North American Title)

Ernest 'Flash' Youngman vs Marc DuBois vs Steven Parker vs Ricky DeColt© vs Spencer Spade vs Kirk Jameson (SWF All-Action Title)

The Bumfholes© vs Poetry In Motion (Lau & Hernandez) vs The Awesomeness vs The Legacy (Gregory Gauge & Hollywood Starr) (SWF Tag Titles)

The MVP's (Ross Henry & Logan Wolfsbaine) vs The Dynamite Express (Primus Allen & Lassana Makutsi)

 8. Will there ever be OR has there ever been an update made to the Cornellverse website? I've only recently discovered it with its detailings of C-Verse history, written articles etc. and I've been utterly engrossed in it. It's truly helped me gain a deeper appreciation for the C-Verse and my saves within it. Would there ever be a willingness to update it? For those curious, the link is here; http://www.greydogsoftware.com/cornellverse/
 9.
SWF save. Just had Awesome Impact 2016 and Eric Eisen continues to raise the bar on being a 'heel' and may well be the biggest heel in the company (with the help of Marat).

He's been killing it on the mic and this feud with Skull DeBones coupled with his Eisen invitational is money. He's gone from 76/B- overness at the start to now around 89/B+'s in the US in less than 3 months.

Roger Cage, competing as American Warrior (Consider it a cross between Hogan's mic skills with Sting's wrestling skills) is handling his big push well. He's jumped up 22 points (to 62/C) since the game start and is currently about to start working alongside Jack Bruce in a storyline.

Gino Montero, with Grace Harper as a valet/manager, is also going to join the story on team Bruce. My Eddie Guerrero wanna-be has jumped from 8/F up to 51 D+ overness. The team of these 3 will enter a story against The Crippler, Big Smack Scott & Joe Sexy in a continuation of Bruce's return storyline.

Sexy is 44 & in decline with his contract running out in 2 months so my plan is to have Warrior or Montero retire him. He'll miss Supreme Challenge, but oh well. He did get a short, accidental reign, with the NA belt off Morgan before bowing out. As for BSS, he's not in decline yet so I've a push in store for him.

Action Division is starting off well with all the young prospects putting on decent matches. My plan is to have Ernest Youngman & Greg Gauge as Bret Hart & HBK types with careers mirroring each other in SWF. Just hoping they'll have decent chemistry. Gauge is current Uprising champion and is about to gain a partner in Hollywood Starr. The 2 will team as Legacy with Sam Keith as manager.

Does anyone know what to do with Ekuma? I've brought him up to the main roster as I was fed up of the bitching but I'm not quite sure what to do with him.

I could insert him into the Eisen vs DeBones storyline as muscle for DeBones, I suppose. So that gives DeBones & Ekuma vs Eisen & Khoklov potential. Not sure though...

What do you guys do with him?

 10.

I'd say a man with the ego of Thunder, there is no way he starts a company cold, he starts it with all the pomp and circumstance he can...

He starts with the biggest PPV in the wrestling world brother, he's the first guy you see on the screen.

Just my opinion.

This. He goes balls out (not quite literally... although...) on PPV to make an emphatic statement which leads into TV.

 11.
Running an SWF save for the first time and thoroughly enjoying it. I'm only just into March but am slowly making my way through.

Eisen w/Marat & DeBones are feuding. Eisen hosts his open challenges. Eventually, DeBones starts to terrorise him with beatdowns and challenges before Marat returns to beat down DeBones in a vicious manner. This feud will carry on. Scythe may get a call up to back up DeBones.

Jack Bruce vs The Crippler is still powering along, as seems to the case with everybody's SWF save in the beginning.

I've got a bit of title turmoil going on over the NA belt. BSS, Brandon James, Mikey Lau, Joe Sexy, Joey Morgan, Valiant & American Machine are fighting over that.

I accidentally booked Sexy to win the belt over Morgan on SWF TV so there was a surprise switch there and changed booking plans but Morgan got it back at the PPV and plans will move forward from there.

I'm also introducing an Uprising title within an Action division. The division is going to be treated as a WCW Cruiserweight style with guys who can put on solid matches facing off each week. But they'll have more of a purpose and story to it. Guys within this division are;

Austin Smooth, Dolph Savage (Kentucky Bill repackaged), El Mitico Jr., Ernest 'Flash' Youngman, Gino Montero, Gregory Gauge, Hollywood Star, Jimmy Hernandez, Justin Sensitive, Kirk Jameson, Ricky DeColt, Sammy Smoke, Spencer Spade, Steven Parker & Tremor (Frankie Perez repackaged).

It's essentially guys I don't have big plans for at the moment getting something to do and time on TV. I do have big plans for Gino Montero & Gregory Gauge, however.

Montero is to be my Eddie Guerrero. With Grace Harper as his manager, he's destined for big things. Gauge also has his father, Sam Keith, as his manager. He's working with a Street Thug gimmick just now which has a Very Good rating.

I'm occasionally at a loss of what to do and where to go next but I'm muddling through and thoroughly enjoying it.

 12. From what I know, and have tried previously, I believe the titles are attached to the alliance. They'll only become available once the alliance is no longer a thing. Then I think you'll be able to purchase the belts? But until then, if you only want your guys to be champions without the risk of them losing them via a match in an allied company, you'll need to create some titles. Someone may correct me on this and, if it's all wrong I hope they do.
 13. This was a pretty cool thread back in the 2013 forum that I haven't seen brought forward yet. Let's say your company is going to release a "Best of" DVD. Whether it's a look back at a particular superstar's career 'ala WWE documentary style' or just a compilation of your company's best matches? What goes on your DVD release? Which matches do you pick to best showcase your company or a particular guy? What special features accompany the DVD?
 14. In Kayfabe terms, I would argue that one world champion travelling over all 3 brands would make for a more exciting product. 1 world champion for each brand I think would be overkill. 2 World Champs in a company I was fine with, like IRL WWE, but 3 would sour it for me. Treat it like the territory days when the 1 champion faces all comers from all 3 brands and tours like that. Have the occasional surprise title switch when fans least expect it to keep it fresh. That would be my vote
 15.
I haven't actually played TEW in about 4 months due to laptop issues, personal stuff etc.

But for the first time in forever, when I felt the urge to come back I was compelled to play with the C-Verse which almost never happens for me.

So I've taken Steve DeColt as UC from NOTBPW and placed him as Head Booker for CGC. See if we can turn around the fortunes and prove Canada has talent and potential after all.

Main storyline going forward is continuing on from the Jack DeColt & Gargantuan base storyline in the game. First TV show of the year, Jack & Gargantuan main event when a masked and cloaked figure appears through the crowd and beats the tar out of Jack. Young Ricky sprints to the rescue before he's cut off by Gargantuan.

The figure uncloaks and unmasks to reveal Steve DeColt. He cuts a scathing promo on brother Alex and how stagnant and dull the promotion has become and that he's back and there's hell to pay.

Essentially it'll be Jack & Ricky vs Steve & Gargantuan going forward with Prometheus acting as extra menace and muscle for Steve DeColt. Eventual plan is to bring Alex out of retirement for a showdown with Steve months down the line.

Other main storyline is Joey Poison playing predator and chasing Hailey Hunter's affections much to the chagrin of Donte Dunn.

Excited for the C-Verse. Just hope I stick with it.

 16.
Really want to delve into a deep T-Verse game so started as HCG. Booked my first 3 shows. Signed Vincent I Parker & Jack America to written deals aswell as Lenny Rhodes and Pierre Lejosne. Time to inject some youth & star power into the company.

It's not been a great first 3 weeks for UPJ, however. Referee Masaru Sugimura passed away after returning 'home' to the company in 2015. Then exactly 7 days later, owner Tatsumi Nagata passed away during his 3rd spell with the company.

Eventful times lie ahead in Japan, it seems.

 17.
Started a new game using the Montreal Aftermath mod from the Mod Squad. WCW want a war? They're going to get one.

I moved all my PPV's to happen on the same date as WCW's PPV's to compete with the buyrate. The first one occured with my december IYH event clashing with Starrcade 97'. IYH did a 0.99 to Starrcade's 0.87 despite their stronger popularity.

On the road to the rumble now, the provisional card for Mania 14 is going to be (Faces first);

Stone Cold vs Shawn Michaels (WWF Title)

The Undertaker vs Kane

Vader vs Mankind

Ricky Steamboat vs The Rock (Intercontinental Title)

Owen Hart vs Triple H (European Title)

LOD vs New Age Outlaw's

ECW (Sabu, Dudley's & Dreamer) vs The Nation (Farooq, Ahmed Johnson, D'Lo & Mark Henry)

Goldust is in rehab so the main guys I'm left without a story for is Ken Shamrock and Jeff Jarrett. May find something for them to do.

Taker, Kane, Mankind & Vader's stories all interlink. Austin & Owen vs DX and McMahon is the story for there. Steamboat is gonna return for a surprise Rumble spot and Rock is gonna go ultra heel on this legend.

That's where I'm at so far as we're 2 weeks from the Rumble!

Also found out as a chemistry note that Taker & Kane have awful chemistry as a tag team. So they may not team up after all...

 18. Looking forward to finally downloading the Thunderverse and giving it a proper spin. Can anyone suggest a skin to go alongside and compliment this mod?
 19.
Just into first month of CV97' mod but feel I'm really going to enjoy getting into this.

Sam Keith, Rory McCallum and Bruce The Giant are the dominant faction in the company right now and recently added a young Tommy Cornell to their ranks. After being impressed with him lately, they aided his win at "When Hell Freezes Over" over the departing Nemesis. Cornell is now North American Champion and with Bruce, Rory & Keith beside him, the now heel starlet is in safe company.

Later in the evening, McCallum faced off vs Christian Faith and after a distraction from young Cornell, pulled out the victory over the Figurehead.

Keith recently defended his SWF Heavyweight Title at the same PPV over the returning Sid Streets. Streets is determined to gain revenge and win the title but has a big climb ahead.

Jack Bruce recently debuted facing McCallum in a bout on Supreme TV. It was a losing effort but he was saved from a beatdown by Faith. Faith put over Bruce strong and shook his hand, saying "Welcome to the big leagues, kid!". These 2 may continue to cross paths as Bruce makes waves in the company. After a PPV win over No Way Jose, Bruce has gained on average 22 points in his popularity after only 3 weeks in the company so currently sits at about 24-25 across the US.

I'll soon be implementing a Nexus style storyline. Veteran 'Womanizer' Robbie Gordon will make his big return to SWF TV after years away in the company of 4 future stars. He'll be leading his heel stable of Dark Angel, Rich Money, Tom 'Angry' Gilmore & Tim Westybrook in an invasion style angle where these young guns will aim to make a name for themselves and the company.

That's the latest. Some young blood being injected into this company of veterans.

 20.
I haven't seen a thread for it recently so was wondering if anyone had any tips for doing a game with CGC in the current C-Verse?

I've never been a huge player of the C-Verse but determined to get into it and would like a reasonable challenge. I've given myself a big headstart by having Steve DeColt as my UC & owner so there's a family feud return angle waiting. Plus, it hurts NOTBPW.

Any tips for starting out?

 21. Didn't realise it was part of Genadi's mod as I've not downloaded it yet. Thank you, kind sir.
 22. That skin is beautiful! Is it a personal one or is it available here on the forums? Nice rating on the Sting vs Hart, by the way.
 23.
MattShannon's 85' Mod. Playing as JCP.

Heading into April of 85' and we've made some huge progress.

Terry Funk lost A Loser Leaves Town match for the NWA Title at the January Supercard to Flair and so left the company (His contract expired and we were too small to re-sign with. About 1 month later we hit cult). Since then his brother Dory has been looking to avenge that defeat but has lost to Flair at the last 2 Supercard Events. Flair is currently the company's top babyface and figurehead and will stay that way so he'll not be leading The Horsemen.

Harley Race is making his return to JCP and will now be embroiled in another heated feud with Flair for the gold.

Magnum T.A finally dethroned Wahoo McDaniel in February for the US Title and they've battled since. Jerry Lawler is about to debut though and be Magnum's first new challenger. Ricky Steamboat and Billy Graham will move into this feud also.

Steamboat was embroiled in some great matches with Tully Blanchard for the TV Title but could never get the job done. He found allies in Ole Anderson & Ron Garvin but Blanchard had the new found Horsemen at his side so has now been TV Champ for over a year.

Ole Anderson is an egotistical *****. He turned a good portion of the locker room against Heenan in Heenan's first night in the company. So he's getting jobbed out. Apparently he didn't take kindly to that and has handed in his 2 weeks notice. Good.

The Horsemen were formed on WCW TV in March. Ted DiBiase is the leader of the group. Arn Anderson, Larry Zybyszko & Tully Blanchard make up the rest of the group with Bobby Heenan as the mouthpiece. They're currently running rampant over JCP but still only hold the TV Title. AA has improved hugely in 3 months. His in-ring performance started out in the low 30's. He's now quickly hitting 70's in in-ring performances. DiBiase was injured in NJPW and is out for a month. Can use him in angles though.

Dusty Rhodes (My UC) & Manny Fernandez lost the Tag Titles to the Koloff's in the first TV show of the year. Manny has since left the company since he's out for a year. Curt Hennig debuted and has teamed with a repackaged Big Scott Hall, casting his Starship gimmick to the side. These 3 battled The Koloff's and Krusher, the Russian brutes. In the process Dusty, Hennig & Hall became the Six-Man Tag Champs for JCP and added DDP to the ranks.

Next feud here is the Diamond Connection vs The Horsemen. Should provide some classic matches. I'll need to find a way to maybe bring the Tag Titles into this feud. Either way, I'm looking forward to booking this feud and everyone helping each other get over.

The idea of Rhodes, Hall, Hennig & DDP vs DiBiase, Tully, Larry & AA is very appealing.

Also my commentary team now consists of JR, Cornette & Schiavone.
