1. Difficult to call? My personal top 4, like all-time favourites? Jericho, Guerrero, Piper & Dusty... But that's, ironically, not set in stone. Absolute all-time 4 of game changers? Rikidozan, Buddy Rogers, Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold. All of them changed business in different ways but you can't underestimate the impact each had. Top 4 workers? Kobashi, Flair, HBK, Okada... Maybe Okada maybe Tanahashi... Top 4 promos? Flair, Dusty, Savage and Piper. Guys could talk you into an arena. Hogan, Rock and Austin are honourable here. So many variables, so many options.
 2.
So after catching up wholly on Line Of Duty with all 5 seasons, the wife and I are now in need of something new to watch. We've got a shortlist of generally considered to be great shows we haven't watched yet. I'll list and maybe someone can suggest something strongly to go next with:

Sons of Anarchy

Breaking Bad

True Detective

The Sopranos

Boardwalk Empire

Peaky Blinders

The Crown

Russian Doll

In Treatment

Deadwood

The Wire

We've seen some excellent TV shows through the years but 2 kids and no free time have left us lagging behind.

 3. I'll scour the database for hours taking in all the changes to the world. Pick a company that might be easier to manage initially to play with all the new features and settings, possibly 21CW if they're still the only big fish in the European pond. Then I'll play a watcher game and maybe track that into a Dynasty to monitor the game world. Feel that may be of interest to others too. 2 weeks till the demo drops. Woo!
 4. Roger Cage: An absolute must-hire for me in every save I end up doing. Decent in the ring with Charisma and mic-skills off the charts. I'll be checking to see if he made his mark in the big leagues and is the bona-fide superstar he should be. Matthew Keith & Greg Gauge: I'm expecting to see Keith be the Omega of Japan with Gauge a big player in the US. Perhaps that's already happened and they've come together somewhere to cement the Keith's as the greatest wrestling family the business has seen. Of course, I'll check in on the DeColts and Stone's to compare. Gino Montero: My C-Verse version of Eddie Guerrero. Love hiring him through whatever means necessary. The guy is the complete package. Hoping he's made the jump to the US and is a main event star. Maybe in the SWF where he caught fire and helped revitalise them to challenge USPW. Steve DeColt: Has the potential to be Jericho-esque in terms of longevity. Leave NOTBPW, either return to CGC and patch things up with Alex to bring them back to being competitive or land him in USPW with a less impactful style and a light schedule. Dude is a bona-fide contender for GOAT. Would love to see him still going strong in 20'. There are numerous others and my first project will be a watcher dynasty to keep track of the whole world but these are the 4 I'll be checking in on first.
 5. Cena vs Wyatt wasn't so much a wrestling match as more a video essay to 2 men's careers that was nothing short excellent! A truly brilliant promo! Well, as said before I didn't have great expectations heading into Mania and have left thinking the two mini-movies were the best part about it. Still, as a Scotsman, I love that McIntyre is now champ! Let him run with the belt!
 6. Excellent addition that provides a lot of creative scope for people with storylines. I imagine this will also allow for some of our more prominent, creative dynasty writers to really flourish with this. Adam with his finger on the pulse of the business! The anticipation and hype grows!
 7. I had little expectations going into Mania but it's been surprisingly decent actually. Undertaker vs AJ gave Taker his best match since Lesnar at Hell In A Cell and I was thoroughly sports entertained. Highlight of Mania so far.
 8. Recently started a CV97' save with CGC that I'm starting to enjoy and get into that I think I might want to turn into a Dynasty on the boards and finally give it a commitment. But with 20 on the horizon, I don't want to commit too much and feel bad about giving up the save. Plus, hopefully there'll be fresh data coming from Derek-B too. Torn.
 9. Royal Rumble 2000 was the first PPV I ever watched live (thank you channel 4) and one of my favourite all-time matches still is Cactus Jack vs Triple H in the street fight. But the favourite moment has to be the Smackdown promo prior from Mankind evolving into Cactus Jack. Even now, I get goosebumps and a little giddy everytime I watch it. Incredible! (obvious honourable mention to Eddie winning the title at No Way Out)
 10. Well, finished Line Of Duty (the first 4 series on Netflix, at least) and it is an excellent show. Realise the 5th is on iplayer across here in the UK but I realised that after I decided to watch an episode of the Tiger King on Netflix. Only watched the first ep to see what the fuss was about and if I could understand all the meme references. Now it has my curiosity that I have to see it out. Anyone else hopped on that bandwagon? Is it really as bonkers as people have hyped it to be? I'm not familiar with the Joe Exotic story.
 11. Stopped/started with a lot of Cverse based saves in 97: but finally found one I'm enjoying with CGC. I've recently developed a fascination with WCCW and the Von Erichs so the DeColts appealed. Plus I've got a few default data saves, one being CGC. Just to say that the mod is excellent work, as always Derek-B and I look forward to a new release of it with the new game. Just adding to the levels of anticipation for the update.
 12.
The wife and I are currently in the midst of watching Line Of Duty on Netflix.

Can't recommend it highly enough. Incredible storytelling and performances from the cast which had us completely hooked. Halfway through the 3rd series!

Who knew a show trying to discover 'bent coppers' could be so awesome! I'm late to the party aswell.

 13.
Finally found the inspiration and willing to start and commit to a CGC game.

Using Steve as my UC (backstory is that George intervened, fed up seeing his creation floundering and wanting to save the company, and helped negotiate Steve's return without Alex knowing. All 4 DeColt boys now make up a booking committee. I have the power and popularity of Steve at my disposal but I'm gonna hold off til the DWF for his return. 3 long months).

BBS and Findlay O'Farraday are the first signings. Gonna be repacked as Bulldozer Brandon and Steamroller Samson and appropriately named Heavy Machinery. Seems Sports Entertainy enough and hopefully they'll bring some life to the tag divison. I like names of alliteration as you'll see.

Intrepid Ian is gonna be repacked as Antoine DeColt. Start off as a tweener. Baby face moveset and high fives the fans but is odd with his 'cousins' as they don't fully embrace him and as his obsession with the DeColts grows he will eventually turn heel as his mental instability worsens. It'll turn out that Steve DeColt was brainwashing Antoine from afar and convincing him of his non-existent DeColt heritage. The two will form a unit that will grow after the DWF to take out the heroes of CGC with an eventual in ring return for Alex (found out he's not in decline)

David Wayne Newton and Greg Gauge will be debuting as the fabulous heel team of Dashing Dallas Newton and Gorgeous Gregory Gauge. No team name for them yet. Suggestions welcome. Ernest Youngman will enter the fray as a Canadian Hero-esque wrestling machine in the vain of babyface Bret Hart.

Was also considering bringing in Hell's Bouncer, renaming him Beelzebob, and putting him with Gargantuan and Prometheus as a monster stable. Maybe led by Adrian Garcia?

That's all the plans and I've not even booked my first show yet but the ideas and inspiration are there so hopefully it lasts.

Anyone else in a CGC save just now that wants to share their ideas and inspiration?

 14. I'm very much the Paul Heyman method. I know what the big matches at the big shows will be, the rest I book on the fly to try and make it make sense. No spreadsheets required. It's all in my head.
 15. Honestly, I couldn't believe my luck. The guys in the Alliance weren't changing, I would've just kept trying different combinations but so far I've not had to. Doesn't happen often but when it comes together like that, it's awesome!
 16. Formed an early iteration of The Dangerous Alliance in my JCP game in the 87' mod. Paul E. and Missy Hyatt serve as mouthpiece and eye-candy to the unit of Eddie 'Hot Stuff' Gilbert, Big Scott Hall, Curt 'Perfect' Hennig and Rick 'Ravishing' Rude. Hennig and Hall have excellent chemistry together. Gilbert and Rude have excellent chemistry together. *chef's kiss*
 17. This is a spectacular one that would absolutely get use from me but I'm very technically inept, any chance you could put on the C-Verse blue background? Excellent work though, sir. Yes, this is the one I was thinking of. Thank you all for the help and thank you Will for posting it again.
 18. There was a render posted in here months (possibly years) ago for someone who was rendered to resemble something close to broken Matt Hardy but I cannot find the image or remember which C-Verse character it was made for. Anybody any clues? Also as another note of support, the rendering work in here is exceptional and has led to me playing far more C-Verse based games than real world games in this iteration of TEW so thank you all for the work you do.
 19. Scandals like this have definitely occurred in TEW16, so it's not surprising to see it happen here. Still cool to see. Sucks for you, sir. But still cool.
 20.
A few weeks out from the G1 and Takayuki 2000 breaks his leg at another companies show. The same day Kashiro Ino's contract with BHOTWG is up.

We won the bidding war and now he's replacing Takayuki 2000 in the B Block of G1.

Time to start G1, baby!

 23.
The quality of those matches for being 'Dark' matches was excellent. Continues the idea that wins and losses matter. AEW is taking itself seriously which is awesome.

After the disastrous finish to HIAC, I'm even more so excited for Dynamite this week. Crowd should be hot, I expect a cheap jab WWE's way and another excellent show.

 24.
I've spent a lot of time lately watching old school MACW and JCP with the studio wrestling and I thoroughly enjoyed this too.

I'm not overly familiar with the current roster aside Aldis, James Storm and Eli Drake but they've certainly caught my interest. It strikes a beautiful chord between old school nostalgia and current day wrestling. Jim Cornette on commentary was just the icing on the cake. Also, Tim Storm's pre-match promo was very good.

Excellent. Between NWA and AEW, I'm loving the change to the status quo. An exciting time to be a wrestling fan again as for the past few years, only NJPW had felt exciting.

 25.
I've been flitting back and forth between saves but feel I'm going to finally try and commit to a long-term SWF save using Derek-B's 97 DB.

With my default picture base now basically consisting of all the C-Verse re-renders, it's much easier to go long-term as the characters have now been assigned pictures that bring them and their personalities to life.

Up first, try my damndest to get The Hype clean before he dies. Second, team up Vengeance and Dark Angel and have them dominate everyone before splitting up and going at it (ala Kane and Undertaker style).
