  1. Quite right, sir. I completely forgot about Adonis and the Original Midnight Express. Probably because it was quite shortlived. Good catch.
  2. 1987' in Jim Crockett Promotions. Paul E.Dangerously managing a stable of; - 'Hot Stuff' Eddie Gilbert - 'Big' Scott Hall - 'Perfect' Curt Hennig - 'Ravishing' Rick Rude - Missy Hyatt At the moment I'm just edging towards naming them The Dangerous Alliance and bringing that name in early. I've also got Gilbert & Hall with excellent chemistry as tag partners. Rude & Hennig (hopefully) will also end up as tag partners. I've also got a stable of; - Sting - Barry Windham - Rick Steiner - Scott Steiner - Ron Simmons At the moment these guys have no name. Powerhouse USA was an idea but I'm not overly keen on it. Any name suggestions for the combinations and the stable would be appreciated.

  4. Ah shit, here we go again. I'm strapped in and ready, sir.
  5. <p>I'm not completely familiar with the history of the Japanese scene and, more specifically, the history of PGHW. Danger Kumasaka is 62 years old and will retire at some point this year but how do I go about it?</p><p> </p><p> Does anyone with a knowledge of the lore of Japanese scene and PGHW in previous iterations have an idea as to what names he may have fought in the past or how I could go about booking his retirement?</p>

  8. Aye, well I'm using the Elite Series as like a NJ Cup style tournament thus my G1 is custom made for July. But, perhaps a couple of shows celebrating the history of the company with veterans back for one off matches and such. Could be a good call.

  10. After taking a couple of months off of TEW, I finally went back and completed my G1 Climax tournament for PGHW in the C-Verse. Results were as follows; BLOCK A Magnum Kobe (7-2) 14 Emerald Angel (6-1-2) 13 Yoshimi Mushashibo (6-3) 12 Raymond Diaz (5-4) 10 Funakoshi (4-5) 8 Seiji Jimbo (4-5) 8 Takayuki 2000 (3-1-5) 7 Bussho Makiguchi (3-6) 6 Matthew Keith (3-6) 6 Ryomo Muruyama (3-6) 6 BLOCK B Kozue Kawashima (7-1-1) 15 PRIDE Koiso (7-2) 14 Eisaku Kunomasu (6-1-2) 13 Masaru Ugaki (6-3) 12 Razan Okamoto (4-5) 8 Buddy Garner (4-5) 8 Chojiro Kotiaji (2-7) 4 William Hayes (2-7) 4 Eien Miyamoto (2-7) 4 Akinori Kwakami (2-7) 4 Magnum Kobe defeated Mushashibo on the final night of Block A to advance while Kawashima (Current PGHW Glory Crown Champ) beat PRIDE Koiso to advance. Kobe vs Kawashima met in the final in a rematch of the Elite Series Final. This time, Kobe won to become the Inaugural G1 Climax winner granting him a title shot in 1 month (at Night of HONOUR) vs Kawashima. The MVP of the tournament, however, was Masaru Ugaki. Primarily having been a tag wrestler for years, he emerged as a brand new star in singles action for the company. The top 10 matches of the tour were as follows... Best G1 Matches: 1) Eisaku Kunomasu def. Masaru Ugaki - Block B, Night 12 (97/A*) 2) Magnum Kobe def. Kozue Kawashima - G1 Finals Night (95/A*) 3) Masaru Ugaki def. Chojiro Kitoaji - Block B. 13. <p>So we're 8 nights into the PGHW G1 Climax, and as we reach the half-way stage of the gruelling competition things are really starting to heat up. A few upsets have already sprung up and the match quality has been truly outstanding. Here are the latest Block standings;</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Block A</strong></p><p> Magnum Kobe (4-0) 8</p><p> Emerald Angel (3-1) 6</p><p> Funakoshi (3-1) 6</p><p> Yoshimi Mushashibo (3-1) 6</p><p> Matthew Keith (2-2) 4</p><p> Seiji Jimbo (2-2) 4</p><p> Bussho Makiguchi (1-3) 2</p><p> Raymond Diaz (1-3) 2</p><p> Takayuki 2000 (1-3) 2</p><p> Ryomo Muruyama (0-4) 0</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Block B:</strong></p><p> Masaru Ugaki (4-0) 8</p><p> PRIDE Koiso (4-0) 8</p><p> Eisaku Kunomasu (3-1) 6</p><p> Kozue Kawashima (3-1) 6</p><p> Razan Okamoto (2-2) 4</p><p> Buddy Garner (1-3) 2</p><p> Chojiro Kotiaji (1-3) 2</p><p> Eien Miyamoto (1-3) 2</p><p> William Hayes (1-3) 2 </p><p> Akinori Kwakami (0-4) 0</p><p> </p><p> Stories of the block so far - </p><p> <strong>Block A</strong></p><p> Funakoshi has been the surprise of the block so far winning 3 of his 4 matches, including a win over Yoshimi Mushashibo in an excellent bout. Emerald Angel has had a good start with his only loss coming as Raymond Diaz's only win.</p><p> Magnum Kobe is plain sailing so far but has a tough stretch with his last 3 matches coming vs Seiji Jimbo, Emerald Angel & Yoshimi Mushashibo.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Block B</strong></p><p> We pointed out in the preview that Ugaki could be the break out star and that's the case so far. An opening night win over the Glory Crown champ, Kawashima, got things off to a great start. 4 for 4 and MOTN almost every night. His ratings so far have been 95, 90, 90, 95. A far cry from his tag partner at the bottom of block A.</p><p> PRIDE is also 4-0 but these 2 meet on night 10 so something has to give. The 45 year old Kunomasu has been stellar so far, his only loss coming vs PRIDE. Kawashima lost on night 2 but has won every fight since and the #1 guy in the company is looking great.</p><p> </p><p> Of course, we're only 8 nights in with 10 more to go, plus finals night, but anything can happen in PGHW.</p>
  14. So, aside from the farce that was the tag league (the young bucks will be in the tag match at WK every year til they retire, anyway), how are we feeling about the WK card. I'm a relatively new fan to the product but have invested some time into it and am hyped. Card looks great. Could do with Minoru Suzuki on it, but still. Also, Ibushi and Ospreay could be a show stealer. 16. <p><em>Hello all and welcome to our preview of the upcoming inaugural PGHW G1 Climax in 2016. The company has put on some excellent shows and bouts in the first half of the year and this should certainly raise the bar even higher. A 4-time Glory Crown and 3-time winner of the Elite Series, Yoshimi has now hit 40 and isn't getting younger. He needs this to assert his place as still being #1 in the company.</em></p><p> </p><p> Magnum Kobe - <em>Has made a hot debut this year and narrowly lost in the final of the Elite Series to Kawashima. The former WLW warrior has swiftly become the hottest property in the company and could top his group if he gets the better of Mushashibo.</em></p><p> </p><p> Kozue Kawashima - <em>Current Glory Crown champion and captured his 2nd Elite Series earlier this year. This looks to be the year of Kawashima. His biggest competition should be his stablemate, PRIDE. A solid, safe bet to top the block.</em></p><p> </p><p> PRIDE Koiso - <em>Regularly still in the MOTN, PRIDE lost in the semi's of the Elite Series to Magnum Kobe. His pride was hurt and he's out for revenge on the world. PRIDE can beat anyone on his night. When he's fired up, he could be unstoppable.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">They've Got A Chance:</span></strong></p><p> Emerald Angel - <em> Defeated Simon Flemmingway for the International Title on his debut, has held the title ever since and looked confident. His aerial prowess could unsettle a lot of the ground-based wrestlers in his block and has a decent chance of doing well.</em></p><p> </p><p> Seiji Jimbo - <em>Has the pedigree to do well. Maybe hasn't hit the heights expected of him but he's still only 27. Should make a good account of himself. This might not be his year, but then again it might be. As Chuck Berry sang, 'It goes to show you never can tell'. This is especially true with a commodity like Jimbo.</em></p><p> </p><p> Eisaku Kunomasu - <em>At 45, he should be slowing down, but he seems to be better than ever before. Just fell short in his International Title match vs Emerald Angel last month, Kunomasu has the experience to win it all. A tough block but you should never count this warrior out.</em></p><p> </p><p> Masaru Ugaki - <em>Toss up between Garner and Ugaki here, the tag team specialist is ahead. Captivating in the ring, he looks like a star waiting to break out and it's only a matter of time before he and Muruyama split after their tag title loss to The Legacy. This could be Ugaki's chance to shine, especially with Muruyama in Block A.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Rest:</span></strong></p><p> With a tournament of the format of this, it's gonna be a long month of action for the stars involved and conditioning and stamina will play a monumental role in it. A niggling injury here, a surprise pin there could upset some of the top contenders and before you know it, an outsider has a real shot. There's some excellent talent in the blocks and, as we know in wrestling, anyone can beat anybody. Matthew Keith has had a good 6 months and should make waves. Raymond Diaz has a lot to prove in showing he can still hang. Buddy Garner has been impressive in his return and should do well. Akinori Kwakami hasn't had the best year but won last year's Elite Series and that wasn't a fluke. Either way, it'll be an exciting and intense 19 nights of action.</p>
  17. <p>Ooh, hot damn! Even with a whole year to go (minimum, likely) this is exciting news. Looking forward to the journal already.</p><p> </p><p> Happy Christmas to us all!</p>

  19. <p>Well the PGHW Elite Series 2016 is in the books and it was a decent month of competition spread out over 9 nights with 32 competitors in the knockout competition. The final was contested between the newcomer to the company and future figurehead, Magnum Kobe, and previous champion Kozue Kawashima which Kawashima won in a great final. Kawashima defeated current PGHW Elite Crown champion Yoshimi Mushashibo in the semi-finals which is a good indicator of things to come when he cashes in his title shot in May at PGHW Night of Glory.</p><p> </p><p> The tournament was a good indicator of what's to come in the upcoming, new, G1 Climax Tournament that'll debut in August.</p><p> </p><p> The top 10 matches from the PGHW Elite Series Tournament were as follows.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>#10</strong> Magnum Kobe def. Interestingly, neither Yoshimi or PRIDE are on time decline (got a lucky roll with that) so I've got a main event for years to come yet. I might play it that he loses to PRIDE here but maybe gets the win back in August when I run the G1 Style tournament. So a PRIDE vs Kozue final. Friends/partners facing off with Kozue denying PRIDE a 4th tournament win. Maybe build tensions with those two coming up towards the PGHW Elite Tag Tournament.</p>
  21. <p>First night of the PGHW Elite Series tour/tournament and in the main event, Yoshimi Mushabisho carried the 62 year old Danger Kumasaka to an 81/B rated match.</p><p> No wonder he's considered the greatest of all-time.</p><p> Still not sure who I'm going to have win the whole thing. Running it as a straight knockout tournament. Semi-finals are going to end up as:</p><p> Yoshimi Mushashibo v Kozue Kawashima</p><p> Magnum Kobe v PRIDE Koiso</p><p> </p><p> Kobe has just signed but I've set him as my figurehead although feel it might be too soon to have him win this tournament straight away after debuting, especially meeting the 3time champ in the semi's. Any thoughts?</p>

Also took out things like loyalty. </p><p> Gives an element of unpredictability about the game world and immediately shakes things up with potential big moves. Normally wouldn't do it but think a changing game world would help me stay invested early on and stick it out.</p><p> </p><p> Heading into March with the PGHW Elite series tournament coming up, I'm gonna treat it as a straight knockout tournament. I've created a G1 Climax that'll run in the summer which will follow the same format as NJPW's version. The draw for the PGHW Elite Series came up as follows.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="6sLglOY.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6sLglOY.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Still not sure who's gonna come out on top in the whole event but should be fun to book. Also, I suck at screenshots so, apologies for the whole WordPad document rather than just the draw.</p>
  23. <p>Started a fresh save with the C-Verse and trying out Japan for the first time and PGHW. My new found love for NJPW might help with some booking ideas and manoeuvring around the Japanese scene. I've created a consortium/trading alliance with TCW & NOTBPW so in the inevitable struggles of the Japanese disaster, we can help each other out with our competitors. Plus, I've gone on a signing spree of new talent from other companies that'll ease with the intensity of the matches and hopefully ease up injuries.</p><p> Stables seem to help a lot with booking many multi-man matches and helping aid in storylines make sense so at this point I've created 4 stables that will soon form through upcoming events. </p><p> The C-Verse Rerender Project has given us some incredible pictures to use for the talent and the guys there have basically taken over my C-Verse with their creations. Here are the stables.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Thy Kingdom Come;</strong></span><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></p><p> <img alt="uF31iKt.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/uF31iKt.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="HFLNfmQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HFLNfmQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="29TVrTe.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/29TVrTe.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="rQCJmQ8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rQCJmQ8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="4tPqvXK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4tPqvXK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="1nuYNsc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1nuYNsc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="MDjNSiF.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/MDjNSiF.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Magnum Kobe</p><p> Emerald Angel</p><p> American Elemental</p><p> Gregory Gauge</p><p> Matthew Keith</p><p> Haranobu Kobayashi</p><p> SUKI</p><p> </p><p> Bent the rules here and put myself into a bidding war with BHOTWG for Kobe and Angel and came out on top. Made up of completely brand new signings (with the exception of Kobayashi), they're staging an invasion of sorts and a takeover.</p><p> Another reason for Kobe & Angel signing is I wanted to bulk out the roster for the upcoming PGHW Elite Series which I'm going to treat as the G1 Climax.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Seigigun;</strong></span><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span>(Blue Justice Army - yes, stole the name of Yuji Nagata's stable)</p><p> <img alt="aNUWJD0.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/aNUWJD0.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="6LDJdKh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6LDJdKh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="y7w5wlE.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/y7w5wlE.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="BFPDaEu.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BFPDaEu.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="gjG9LvE.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gjG9LvE.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="oU61WjS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oU61WjS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Yoshimi Mushashibo</p><p> Ryoma Muruyama</p><p> Masaru Ugaki</p><p> Motoyuki Miyake</p><p> Commander Kawagishi</p><p> Shimpei Hirose</p><p> </p><p> Mushashibo has assembled a group to defend PGHW and help him defend his PGHW Glory Crown title. With Kawagishi and Hirose from EX2010 (PPA deals) as an elite tag team and Muruyama & Ugaki (Arguably, the best tag team in PGHW history), security is strong. 24. <p>Apparently, there was an issue with the upload? Nothing there to download anyway, LoNdOn.</p><p> Any chance of a reupload?</p>
