  1. As a YouTuber, I'm sure you will agree that it is much harder to follow let's players who click a little too fast now! So many small font numbers

  3. Yeah I agree with most of you. It's not so much the fact that grades were cut but more so the size of the numbers replacing them. If show scores were 3x the size and match scores were 2x the size, I wouldn't have a problem with the change at all. The game is just so much bigger and the scores are so much smaller...
  4. Absolutely, finally having a game that seems to be flowing naturally and I'm on a laptop that's fullscreening and not even my main machine. By the time I get back to my main machine, it'll feel like a luxury hahaha. For those still getting overwhelmed by the new UI, I recommend starting with a smaller promotion and learning the basics from the beginning again. I have a nice little WLW game going that is running a whole lot less stressfully now that I'm not attempting to multitask like a mad man.

Probably my favourite japanese company to play as I don't follow much strong style in real life and WLW most closely resembles a Northern American independent promotion with it's emphasis on lucha high flying as well it's the traditional puro. I am definitely thinking about taking on WLW in my first game and trying to keep them afloat after the year off with a diary to go with. What are some ideas that you might use to revamp WLW? Any little known prospects in the area that won't get snatched from me in the first few months of play?</p>

Obviously there's still some bad ones like angles and products but from someone who exclusively uses set products and the freestyle writer who also believes those problems will be fixed soon, my irks are all with the graphic and buttons. For a game revolved around a setting as eccentric as the C-Verse, it's looking a little to much like a spreadsheet over a professional wrestling game. I always felt like all the TEW graphics gave it a 'wrestling paordy' feel, complimenting the quirkiness of Adams' alternative wrestling vision. Obviously it needs to be a balance but right now I feel like I'm playing a sports game without the sport.</p><p> </p><p> Even WMMA had the Big Strike! and Knockdown! to add flare to the events. Charm like that is missing a little bit.</p>
  10. Sorry I thought I should reiterate, I don't find this an issue but it's just taking me a while to used used to. There is a difference between the two so I thought I should clarify! I, for whatever reason, just seem to associate colour coded grades with brain dopamine receptors and the numbers just require a little more effort to force the same effect. I also prefer reading horizontally across rather than a vertical list so the removal of the skill page is a bit of a bummer. Easy things to get over though! I also have problems reading numbers like 54 - 67 and 45 - 51 when they are so close together. C - B+ and F+ - E or a bigger font with separated categories like in-ring and gimmick skills having a one-line gap (perhaps resizeable within the stat grid like an excel sheet is?) would help me out a lot. So many double digit numbers squished together is a dyslexic nightmare.. EDIT: I also really miss the big red run show button. Something about running shows now feels super underwhelming haha, even incidents are easier to miss now.

  12. Is there just no monthly skill progression page anymore? I see that there is a progression list but it just isn't the same without the schedule filled with + and - symbols. Ahhhh, I guess I'll get used to it.
  13. Yeah after a few days of thought now that I've stepped away from the game, we are exactly on the same page. I feel like anybody who loves the series would agree. It seems like many of us are going to support nonetheless out loyalty but it's quite depressing that it's come to this. One true failed launch out of the many he's had would be nothing to be ashamed of, this needs a rework badly.
  14. I'm holding out with hope that all this empty space is a placeholder for new boxes in next instalment, the game screen is just too big for the amount of information needing to be displayed. Details that should be side by side are spread across the screen and it's taking me more than twice the amount of time to process the information I need to. The skills column looks unfinished and needs to be broken up into categories badly and this is too many numbers close together in the same font for my brain to accurately remember. I have a very visual memory and colour coded grades (especially with the grades + number skin) was super intuitive for me. I have just booted up the trial on my mums' laptop instead of my gaming computer and I now see what everybody is complaining about with the resolution. It takes up my entire screen and I have to alt+tab to get back to my browser. There is no way I can play like this after the luxury of booting it up on my machine the other day. Sorry for anybody in the same situation, this would suck man.
  15. 100% agree. Some of this is just plain embarrassing. I hadn't even noticed the refinement feature missing. I've accepted the state of the game but I'll admit, I'm still in a bit of shock.
  16. This. I'm hoping these are honest small mistakes by a one man coding team and his small testing pool. Time will tell.

My biggest gripe with the UI design right now is honestly the 'X' button of the 'Contract made' screen being in the right hand corner instead of a continue button bottom centre but I'm sure I'll get used to it with time.. That and the lack of big letter grades. They used to give me a fat dopamine rush when I scored an A+ lol, the grades always popped for me.
  18. I believe the code has been rewritten for the UI and these are unfortunately just mistakes on Adams' end trying to replicate the features that already existed. No complaining is pointless in a beta and things gone unsaid may be oversights! Especially when they are specific like this a bigger closed beta pool would've fixed so many of these issues but I understand why one did not really exist.
  19. Does anybody know what tweaks have been made over patch 5 and 6? Unable to access a working computer this week so just curious is all.
  20. Combining these two features with the notepad in the future would be nice. Maybe with a few more thought out utilities just to cut out the need to use a browser at all. Obviously these are very small suggestions as it's never been a bother lol
  21. Always thought some things like this should be hard-coded. I used to use tournament bracket maker a lot through out my TEW 2016 saves.
  22. 100 percent! Now the game has a modern resolution, I reckon the guts are going to be rebuilt. Until then, this game is still a banger.
