  1. You could dress Mick Foley in the Pope's gown, he still wouldn't look a star. You are right about his moment being instrumental, but what that has to do with Star Quality I don't know...
  2. Does it only tell you when you've done it or will it give a warning beforehand?
  3. I'd actually go as low as the E range for Foley, by all accounts he looks like a homeless guy. But the game would cap him far too low (I think?), so maybe D/D+.
  4. Even if they are you'd still need to bump their South East pop to recreate the attendance figures accurately.
  5. Do we not get the penalty for changing a gimmick (and turn) too soon anymore? I swear I can't see any reference of it in the gimmick screen.
  6. Star Quality IS NOT being a star. Star Quality is the look of being a star and nothing else. When you just look at someone on the screen before they do anything or in the street and think, wow! look at them. Scott Hall oozed it. B+/A territory. HBK above average at best. Hell, even Ryback is streets ahead of HBK in Star Quality. Popularity has nothing to do with it. HBK succeeded despite lacking in Star Quality, and to a greater degree Mick Foley.
  7. It's not that difficult. Go into the editor in the AM of show day and make a note of your bank balance and popularity. Then the next day after the show go back in and double the gains.
  8. Don't want to assist in derailing the thread but re: the Hall/Michaels debate. Scott Hall is in my eyes at least A for SQ and Michaels I would rate as low as C+. Shawn succeeded in spite of a lack of star quality. He had the mic skills, charisma and sex appeal to go with an outstanding in-ring, performance and physical skill set. Star Quality was the one thing he 'lacked' - but everything else made up for it in abundance.
  9. Roll 50 "Keeping it in the Family" - do you add this younger sibling to your roster or is he to start unemployed (but free to try to sign up)?
  10. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Andrew2436" data-cite="Andrew2436" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Playing a WWF 94 game and at the start WCW and ECW lost all their TV deals. I'm assuming the way the mod and dates were set up. Any reason why the companies aren't attempting to get tv deals in game?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> If you've just converted the '13 mod without tweaking then that will be why. Broadcasters need a big overhaul after a conversion.</p>
  11. How are people finding finances now? I'm through six months of my second attempt at this and I'm close to turning a monthly profit. Sitting at around -$25k with 12 months of the grace period to go.
  12. There's an option in settings that allows you to export to Access MDB file, which you can then transfer into Excel.
  13. I'd say that's fine. A 99 rated match would need a hot storyline in a company requiring them in my opinion, otherwise you might as well just run a perf>>pop product focused purely on in-ring performance.
  14. I hate to request things but I'm away from home, and therefore TEW, for a few days and I can't keep it off my mind! Can someone upload me a copy of a database export for the C-Verse? Preferably Day 1, but not that fussed. Huge thanks in advance.
  15. Despite the non-existent sponsorship on 1.06, I'm having a blast. Got another year until the banks come calling! Jobbed my guy from Enhancement Talent to Main Eventer in two months
  16. Such a good storyline this one. One of my best and most favourite feuds written on '13 was between two unbeaten guys. They both came up from developmental at the same time and I just rode with it, playing them off each other to see who I could get to main eventer the fastest. After a couple of months the storyline wrote itself and within 8 or 9 months they were co-main event of my season finale. Such a basic storyline of neither being pinned/submitted in their career and it pulled a high 90s storyline heat and match rating. I don't even think they made it past B popularity either at the time.
  17. Now the weekend is here I can sit down with this game and give RTG a good shot. I'm assuming perf>pop product is the way to go early on?
  18. I don't think so, but how have you got that much spare cash at regional?
  19. It's all in context to your popularity. I got a 43 for the Rip Chord Challenge and that was considered an excellent show. You only start with 22 popularity in Mid Atlantic so anything over that is a good show.
  20. Love this. Most people would get upset and jack it in but I for one (you, two) love that long term plans need to be changed.
  21. You know I just re-read it after posting. I was coming back now to apologise for being blind. Thanks.
