For the past half year, I've been wallowing in self-pity and isolation. Alone, in my tiny Los Angeles studio, I waited for Richard, Jerry or Eric to call my number. They never did. It's every kid's dream to wrestle for Supreme Wrestling Federation, and I was no different. Fast-forward to today. Picking up a few hours here and there teaching martial arts to kids. Ironically, these karate studios have better insurance plans than SWF. Driving Lyft ensures I don't have to live off of ramen. Been going to night school, trying to build enough credits to finish my degree. It's strange. A few of my classmates recognize me. Most are too stoned to acknowledge my existence. ENTER GURU'S PHONE CALL. FOR A WHILE NOW, I'VE BEEN AVOIDING MY DEMONS. I WAS LETTING MYSELF GO, AND I KNEW IT. THIS WAS A CHANCE TO GET ONE STEP CLOSER TO FEELING ME AGAIN. Guru's promotion gave me a dream. It wasn't the same dreams I had from elementary to college, the ones I'd drift off to after a euphoric episode of SupremeTV. They weren't the ones I discussed with my parents when I decided to drop out of school to pursue wrestling full-time. But they were real, they were tangible. For the first time in years, it felts like the best was yet to come...

Im so spastic when Im working on things. I have like 72 different layers and theres probably 7 nearly identical versions of each, with minor tweaks lol. I can PM you and give you my basic settings for layer styles in photoshop and my color #s, but the rest is just kinda eyeballing it and hoping for the best. For resizing, I just duplicate all my layers and merge them, then shrink it down to file size. I work in 800x400 and then reduce the size to 25% for the final product. Detail gets lost, but thats a side effect of working in Photoshop with pixels rather than Illustrator with vectors.<p> </p><p> Poet Justice, I took a stab at the Dragon Pro World title. In my upcoming diary, I run a Lucha-resu/Lucha Underground fed, and here are a few tips I picked up: -Working agreement with SAISHO as soon as you can. Use guys like Takano and Mizayaki to trade for Black Iron Corps. They’re almost guaranteed to sign SUMI and they also tend to pick up Funakoshi and Torii -Keep an eye on Eisuku Konamatsu. PGHW tends to let him walk and he becomes available after half a year of inactivity. He usually has C- pop by then but that’s a skilled aging main eventer with a strong locker room presence. -With how many Japanese companies go out of business, when you hit regional, working agreement cult PGHW and WLW. It will stop them from poaching the guys you get from SAISHO.

<p>How do you guys best create the SWF equivalent to NXT? For me, I see RIPW more as the performance center than NXT; plus you can’t really book RIPW. It’s usually the Uprising brand I use, as it’s a “developmental-ish” name and there are tons of graphics based around the brand already. </p><p> </p><p> I think one thing that makes booking a developmental/tv property hybrid like NXT in 2016 is the really bad ratings. </p><p> </p><p> Anyways, I’m trying to build it up with mostly waves of SWF trained talent, much like the first wave of NXT. As we chug along, I want to bring in more Indy stars, especially major Japanese stars given several top guys tend to drift after 2-3 major companies inevitably close after the earthquake. Maybe even develop Uprising UK.</p>
