The fifth edition of WRESTLING IMPERIUM is upon us and we might see the biggest and best matchcard we've seen so far for a WRESTLING IMPERIUM show. Toyota Stadium is officially a sell out with 50,000 people inside who'll see the first ever interpromotional match between WCG and PGHW, four title matches and even the comeback of the INSPIRE Rules match. „Just walking in and immediatly getting a shot at the most prestigious championship in the world is just not right. What’s up with that, huh? Fukazawa? I won’t discredit the accolades he [Gakusha] had but he didn’t do sh*t in WCG.“, a furious Bunrakuken Torii at the press conference. The former GCG and BHOTWG star is scheduled to fight Torii for the WCG World Heavyweight Championship and the champ is cleary not a fan of the decision. Gakusha was pretty calm during the presser, he stated that Torii is a great champion but he’s simply afraid of him. A 18 months long waiting period will end at WRESTLING IMPERIUM V when Yoshinaka Taku is going to challenge for the WCG Intercontinental Championship. It was in February 2020 when Taku broke his neck in a IC title match against Motoyuki Miyake, the referee stopped the fight and Taku lost his title due to an injury stoppage. „You see, technically I’ve never lost that championship. Miyake did a great job representing the title and so did Gauge right? Nah he didn’t. I’ll take from him what is mine.“, Taku said. Gauge laughed him off and called Taku an idiot for having the „false japanese pride“. „I made this championship. When I came to WCG it was only a National Championship, I took it to international heights and made it the belt it is today. Don’t forget that sweet little Taku-chan.“ It was big hit for Razan Okamoto that he missed this year S-1 Festival due to an injury. „The Dreamcatcher“ is still waiting for a win in the prestigious tournament and the 6-year long dry spell is at least continuing one more year. At least the match with PGHW’s Masaru Ugaki is feeling like a cup final for him: „Yes indeed it’s like a cup final. It’s WCG versus PGHW, so yea this feels like something similar.“ Razan Okamoto just ended a successful run of his faction xDREAM, which was one of the longest lasting factions in the history when Masaru Ugaki and Nobuatsu Tatsuko came to the ring to issue the challenge. Ugaki felt disrespected: „Since the launch of the partnership between our respective companies there was a lack of respect for PGHW. I had the feeling we’re just second class and I want to prove something by stepping in the ring with the best WCG has to offer.“ The issues between Motoyuki Miyake and Hitomaro Suzuki started already months ago but it went a bit hotter when they met each other in several tag matches during the Pro Wrestling Love tour in May. Suzuki’s frustration about the fans, the office and more lead to the creation of REAL BLOOD and the change of his character while being in the ring, Miyake isn’t a fan of the new Suzuki: „He’s not that Genius anymore. He’s a different kind of man, we see it each and every time when he’s stepping into the squared circle. It’s a disgrace to his past.“ The former Intercontinental and RISE Champion had an idea and pitched it to WCG president Fukazawa and he made it official: INSPIRE Rules match! Suzuki was an inaugral member of the former INSPIRE group and thus the match makes all the sense in the world althought the latter isn’t happy about it: „It’s a real shame to be honest. I’m not interested in fighting under those rules but nevertheless I’ll teach that kid a lesson.“ Koshiro Ino’s reign as the RISE Openweight Champion is now seven months long and the champion feels pretty comfortable. „The Kobra“ attended the press conference and announced some sort of an open challenge: „The first one who’s coming through that door will be the next challenger.“ And there came someone in who’s having a string of great losses under his belt: Heihachiro Sakai. The leader of Burning Hazard lost all big matches this year starting at the Anniversary show and lastly against Torii in Fukuoka but Sakai is desperated to win something. „I CHALLENGE YOU INO-SAN.“ was the only words Sakai yelled at Ino before leaving again. 『STRONG ENERGY 2021 IN FUKUOKA』 – June 12th, 2021 Fukuoka Stadium (Fukuoka, Kyushu) [Emperor Choice, WCG Global & Aichi] 30,000 people were inside the Fukuoka Stadium for one of the biggest wrestling shows ever to be on Kyushu soil. You could feel a gently breeze while being in the open air stadium where usually the baseball team Fukuoka Fighting Magpies and the football (soccer for you yanks) team Fukuoka United are playing their matches. Bunrakuken Torii was able to defend his title yet again against an opponent he lost to in the recent months. Torii and Sakaid had a match on equal footing but still „Machine Gun“ went into champion mode and took the fight over the thirty minute mark to finally beat Heihachiro Sakai with a Spinning Forearm Smash, the move came after a sequence of rapid fire chops to the chest and a big lariat which knocked Sakai to the ground. Torii was interupted yet again after the thanked Fukuoka for their emotional cheering and this time it was a music we didn't know before: A man with a mane like a lion came down the aisle, accompanied by a loud roar of the Fukuoka crowd and speaking of lions.. HIROYASU GAKUSHA is here! The former Golden Canvas and Burning Hammer star gated at Torii and at the belt over the latters shoulder and Gakusha made pretty clear what his intensions are. Fukuoka were witnesses of the longest WCG Junior Heavyweight championship match in history! The two rivals fought over thirty minutes for the biggest junior heavyweight crown in professional wrestling and they absolutely smashed it. Glenn and Mítico put on a grappling clinic, two world-class wrestlers amazing at their work. Glenn looked like he was about to pass out when the mexican had him in a rear naked choke, but then while in the hold, he turned it around and grabbed Mítico's ankle and swinged the momentum around. He tuned up the sunshine band later and beat the champ with that move to tie their rivalry 1-1. Greg Gauge has defeated his former friend with a whole bunch of interference on the Rogue Squad side and many other shenanigans. Smith's partner Findlay O'Farraday took control of some members but was also ejected by referee Shunko Nakada. Typical for Rogue Squad antics Gauge won the match when he hit Smith with a low blow when the referee couldn't see it and then put Smith into the Proton Lock for the win. Afterwards Yoshinaka Taku came out to challenge Greg Gauge and to rescue the pride and honour of the WCG Intercontinental title. One of the longest lasting stables in the history of White Canvas Grappling is done. „The Dreamcatcher" Razan Okamoto made his first appereance after his injury when he came out after the third match where his xDREAM mates lost a match to REAL BLOOD. Okamoto not only announced that he'll compete again on the next tour but he also announced that xDREAM is no longer. Okamoto explained to a shocked crowd that the main task of xDREAM is over with Motoyuki Miyake, KATOU and Tanyu Toshusai are being very good wrestlers and the big enemy Black Terror Unit is long gone... ... and then the music of Pride Glory Honor Wrestling went on and Masaru Ugaki came to the ring alongside PGHW president Nobuatsu Tatsuko! After the creation of the Canvas Grappling Union Ugaki felt a bit disrespected by WCG and he's officially challenging Razan Okamoto to a match at WRESTLING IMPERIUM! Results~! 0. WRESTLING INTERNATIONAL NEW GENERATIONS ~ W*ING (1994) We are still alive and we are still doing progress in terms of growing. Our foundation of money and prestige is pretty solid so we won't be going into depth but 1994 was some sort of an up & down year as we lost some centerpieces of our stories... MAIN STORY The new year started with a creation of a new title: The Deathmatch Heavyweight title was introduced to find the most dangerous man in W*ING. A tournament with eight men started, the last two met for the title in January: Mr. Pogo and Mitsuhiro Matsunaga. The two "frenemies" had a brutal Glass & Fire Deathmatch which was won by Matsunaga. The latter became the inaugral champ, a win for the home army against NO RESPECT. Just a month later the home army was victorious again when Matsunaga, Kanemura and Pogo defeated NO RESPECT (Oya, Kabuki & Goto) in a hardcore match, Kabuki challenged Matsunaga to a match in March for the Deathmatch title. And again W*ING had the better ending when Matsunaga smashed the legendary Great Kabuki into a Fire Coffin to retain his title, which lead to Tarzan Goto's brutal beating of Kabuki and his end in NO RESPECT. Unfortunately the latter signed a contract with AJPW before the show, he was replaced by Kendo Nagasaki. Matsunaga was on cloud nine after all those wins but sure it came like everyone expected. Tarzan Goto stopped Matsunaga and gained the Deathmatch title at the Ariake Coliseum to cement his status as NO RESPECT's #1. The following months were not good for the home army as they were on the losing side on multiple occassions. When W*ING held a show at the legendary Ryogoku Kokugikan it was Tarzan Goto who stand tall in the main event after defending the Deathmatch Heavyweight title against Mr. Pogo. In August Goto's reign as the champ continued with a win over Yukihiro Kanemura, he even overcame the legendary "Funkster" Terry Funk in October after provoking him in September at the tour final show of W*ING. It finally came down to Blood X'Mas in December in front of a packed crowd in the Yokohama Arena when Tarzan Goto and Mitsuhiro Matsunaga went toe to toe again for the belt. In a Fluorescent Lighttubes & Glass Board Match Matsunaga regained the title and finished the W*ING year with a happy end. With ending the reign of Tarzan Goto the heel faction NO RESPECT isn't gone, the war isn't over, however a new group rised when Mr. Gannosuke and The Gladiator appeared at the show and layed a FMW flag above the unconscious Mr. Pogo... WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP NO RESPECT held the tag title and Gedo & Jado ruled the division with dirty tactics. They could beat Kanemura & Jason The Terrible in January and defending the title until the big Sumo Hall show in June. The now reunited Gilbert Brothers won the title to the delight of the W*ING fans. The brothers came back together after a Unit Disband match in April when Eddie teamed up with Crash The Terminator and Jason to take on Doug Gilbert, Crypt Keeper and Leatherface. Speaking of the two horror movie guys, just two weeks later the two took the tag titles of the Gilbert's. Crypt Keeper and Leatherface were able to defend the title against Hideki Hosaka & Ryuma Go and The Headhunters before losing the titles in December to Sabu and Terry Funk. WORLD JR. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Sasuke seemed like the perfect junior heavyweight before Sabu entered the ring. The maniac came to Ariake in May and surprisingly dethroned Michinoku Pro's Sasuke in a good match. Sabu went on to beat Solar, El Texano and even Eddie Guerrero before facing Sasuke buddy Super Delfin, who won the W*ING Junior League a month prior, in September. Delfin beat Sabu and even survived his rival Eddie Guerrero at Blood X'Mas to end the year as the champ. WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP The year started with a shocker when Kim Duk took the title off Crash The Terminator in January. The Zainichi korean even defeated former champ Eddie Gilbert, Shinichi Nakano and Doug Gilbert before facing Crash again at the 3rd Anniversary show in August. Crash won the inaugral W*ING Kiken Na Senshi (Dangerous Warrior) tournament which earned him a titlematch again. Crash made the impossible possible by beating the dangerous Kim Duk and regain "his" title before losing it just twenty days later to NO RESPECT's Hiromichi Fuyuki. A big hit for W*ING! Fuyuki would have been the champ going into Blood X'Mas but he broke his neck and was forced to relinquish the title. Shinichi Nakano and Fuyuki's opponent Jason The Terrible went on to fight for the vacant title which was won by Nakano in the end. DEATHMATCH HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Just mentioned above the new title was won by Matsunaga first in an eight man tournament. The participants were Tarzan Goto, Mr. Pogo, Ichiro Yaguchi (who replaced Hideki Hosaka on short notice), Yukihiro Kanemura, Jason The Terrible, Ryo Miyake, Shoji Nakamaki and of course "Mr. Danger" Matsunaga. Tarzan Goto became the second champion before losing the strap to Matsunaga again. WORKER LEAVING Yep that was a pain in the a*se this year. Losing Cactus Jack at the beginning of the year wasn't a surprise for me but losing The Great Kabuki was the first big hit in 1994. He would have been the centerpiece of my NO RESPECT versus W*ING Army feud and the big evil death match champ guy. Speaking of champ guy, I let Crash The Terminator aka Bill DeMott win the title, defending it for a record breaking seven times in a row before losing it. He also won the inaugral Kiken Na Senshi tournament, which will be a format changing format by the way as one year it's a normal tournament and the next year will be for death matches, and then dethroning the dominating Kim Duk...just to receive like two days later that he'll leave W*ING for a way smaller promotion in the US. Crazy. So I put the belt on Fuyuki a bit earlier than I would have done it to cement NO RESPECT as the dominant force. Fuyuki injured himself badly and the plans went into the bin sooner than expected. I also lost Dr. Wagner Jr. to AAA at the end of the year and I pushed him heavily this year. He may lost the Junior League to Super Delfin but he would have been the one to get the title of Delfin in 1995... WORKER SIGNINGS With Kenkichi Hamacho we got another W*ING true born into our ranks. Hamacho is 6'5 and 350lbs heavy. He hails from Saitama and is a ripped heavyweight. Also we had Ron Reis, a NJPW Dojo graduate, this year at W*ING who got sent us by New Japan as some sort of an excursion. Some were already mentioned above like Shinichi Nakano, Sabu, Dick Togo or Kendo Nagasaki but we also got Masao Orihara, Super Crazy, Salman Hashimikov (and some other russian mma dudes), young boy Daikokubo Benkei and Bob "Hardcore" Holly. The latter got a mask gimmick alongside Time Patterson as the Super Uchus. 1995? NO RESPECT isn't dead. Surely they lost the Deathmatch Heavyweight and the tag titles but they're still alive, with or without injured Hiromichi Fuyuki. But more importantly what's about the hatred relationship between Matsunaga and Mr. Pogo? And what are Mr. Gannosuke and The Gladiator from FMW are doing at a W*ING show? 『RISE.31』– June 7th, 2021Shinjuku REX (Tokyo, Kanto) [WCG Global] A few days before the big show in Fukuoka there was a RISE show where Motoyuki Miyake went toe to toe with young boy Ryobe Saji. Miyake stomped him into the ground but was quite happy with Saji's performance and invited him to train with him in the future. With the creation of the Kyanbasu Gurappuringo Gappei, engl. Canvas Grappling Union, the need of having a rookie show like RISE isn't neccessary when a development promotion like DIASPORA is starting. 『Road To STRONG ENERGY - Tour Recap』 The road to STRONG ENERGY can be a bit rocky at times for some protagonists, but the competition in White Canvas Grappling is getting better, bigger and more dangerous. With the lastest additions of guys like Toshitara, Senmatsu or the junior heavyweights Kobe, Hijo Del Relampago and Miyamoto the roster is stacked as never been before. At a road to show in Zeshin Makioka’s hometown of Tsu in the Mie prefecture, the „Mad Dog“ had to defend the prestigious Golden Canvas Grappling World Heavyweight Championship against „Mighty“ Danny Cavanagh. The former US Strongman isn’t as good as Makioka in the ring nor on the mat but Cavanagh is as dangerous due to his raw power. The former PGHW title challenger nearly shocked Tsu when he had Makioka’s shoulders down for 2.9 after a Spinebuster. Makioka came back, put on a strong performance and ripped Cavanagh’s head off with two lariat strikes to protect the title of the golden lions. Just three days later WCG held a show in Hamamatsu with two titles on the line. Ernest Youngman had his hands full with „KILLING MACHINE“ Morimasa Kato, who tried desperately to add yet another title to his trophy case. Kato already won the WCG World, WCG Intercontinental, RISE Openweight (which makes him the only triple crown champion in the history of the company) and RISE Openweight Six Man Tag Champ. Kato’s gameplan was plain and simple: Get Youngman to the ground and choke him out. The reigning tag titleholders couldn’t capture the Six Man Tag belts alongside Tadakuni Toshusai, the champion trio from Burning Hazard defended successfully and announced that they’ll win the tag titles too in Fukuoka. Osaka was the place for Koshiro Ino and Tatsuya Toshitara to settle their differences after their draw on the final block night during the S-1 Festival. „The Kobra“ put his RISE Openweight title on the line in a fight between two former Burning Hammer Of The Wrestling Gods wrestler. After a hard fought battle Ino was able to pin Toshitara after 23 minutes with his Kobra's Bite. Afterwards the two rivals even shook hands but still there was something between them.

WCG is heading down south to the island of Kyushu more precisely to Fukuoka, famous for excellent seafood, kind people and Japan’s biggest festival during Golden Week. A big festival is also upon us when STRONG ENERGY will be held at the Fukuoka Stadium in front 30,000 people. WCG fans know that Bunrakuken Torii is a fighting champion, a champion with pride and honour, a man who wants to defend his title against anyone, however he didn’t seem to be that interested in a fight with Burning Hazard leader Heihachiro Sakai. „For me it’s a bit strange that he’s challenging me after his loss in the final of the S-1. Sure, he has beaten me during the tournament, but only at a time when I took a small injury with me. So what’s the point of challenging me now?“, stated Torii. Sakai smirked and called Torii a coward: „You see champ, you‘re only talking about an injury nobody spoke about before. So right now I only hear an excuse from you, complaining and nothing more. 『Grand J-Challenge 2023』 – May 22nd, 2021Kyoto Prefectural Gymnasium (Kyoto, Kansai) [Emperor Choice, WCG Global & Aichi] After ten nights of action in just two weeks, the 3rd edition of the Grand J-Challenge ended with a banger, but first things first. Four blocks with four wrestler each for every block and we've got not big surprise in the group stage whatsoever. Japanese Phoenix injured himself on the first night of block action which resulted that he was forced to withdraw from the competition with zero points. What a shame for the three time WCG Junior Heavyweight Champion. However the four first group leader were Billy Robinson, Magnum Kobe, KC Glenn and Masa Kurata. The latter pinned the current Jr. Champ El Mítico Jr. on the last night of the group stage to advance to the semi final stage. Magnum Kobe and Billy Robinson fought for twenty minutes to reach the final of the tournament and with Magnum Kobe advancing Robinson's dream of being a tournament winner once again got crushed. The other semi final was won by KC Glenn who could defeat the champion killer Masa Kurata. In the heart of Kyoto the final was being held in front of a packed crowd, a crowd which desperately wanted to see KC Glenn win the tournament. Magnum Kobe still was being labelled as an outsider while Glenn, despite his allignment with Burning Hazard, was one of them. To the delight of the WCG fans KC Glenn was able to overcome the brutal strikes of Kobe to win his first ever Grand J-Challenge. Althought the focos of the tour was cleary on the junior heavyweights and the tournament itself, several confrontations happened. Koshiro Ino and Tatsuya Toshitara had their issues over the tour, they had met at the final night of the S-1 Festival and drew each other - Both men got eliminated through that draw. Toshitara issued a challenge for Koshiro Ino's RISE Openweight title. Ernest Youngman and Morimasa Kato for the US Heavyweight title was also announced after today's show for STRONG ENERGY! GCG World Heavyweight Champion Zeshin Makioka may won tonight's match for his team but Danny Cavanagh challenged Makioka for the title, the latter accepted the challenge. Results~! 1. WRESTLING INTERNATIONAL NEW GENERATIONS ~ W*ING (1993) Let's dive into the second year of my save with W*ING. We did pretty well in terms of gaining fans and are clearly the #1 hardcore promotion in the world. Our biggest show of the year Blood X-Mas in december was held in front of over 7,500 people. But let's take a look at some stuff happening throughout the year. MAIN STORY After a grueling year fighting against movie monsters, serial killers and other creeps the W*ING home army split up in two camps. Mr. Pogo attacked Mitsuhiro Matsunaga after a losing effort to Jimmy Snuka and Jason The Terrible in January, that's when Pogo created his own stable, The Pongo Gundan. From there on Pogo and Matsunaga hated each other and the first battle between them was won by Pogo in a Bunkhouse Death Match in February. Just a month later W*ING booked the team enemies yet again as a team to represent the promotion, this time against Cactus Jack and Terry Funk in a hardcore street fight. To the surprise of no one the two didn't get along and lost the match. In May Matsunaga and Pogo met yet again when they had a No Ropes Barbed Wire Match at Korakuen where Matsunaga got the upperhand and won against Pogo in a singles match for the first time in his career. Sure these two crossed paths throughout the year in several multimen bouts but the next important meeting was in a match where they had to team again. It was at Danger Zone In Yokohama in October, just a week prior Matsunaga has beaten Cactus Jack in a singles Falls Count Anywhere Death Match, which lead to gain some attention in the whole of Japan. The legendary Great Kabuki challenged the W*ING wrestlers to a hardcore six man tag team match, on his side were former FMW man Tarzan Goto and Kim Duk. Ibaragi begged Matsunaga and Pogo to settle their differences this time and they agreed. Pogo, Matsunaga and Yukihiro Kanemura took on the invading trio and lost the fight. Afterwards Kabuki and Goto the creation of "NO RESPECT", a new group to fight against W*ING. Pogo and Matsunaga backstage agreed to buried the hatchet for the moment and to take on the new group. The big televised matches were all losing efforts for the W*ING guys: At Blood X-Mas the trio of Kanemura, Ryo Miyake and Pogo lost a six man fight while Matsunaga lost to Tarzan Goto in the main event of the show in a Fluorescent Lighttubes Death Match. While the japanese fought their own war, Eddie Gilbert was on his own path of revenge. Nightmare Freddie cost Gilbert the world title at last year's Blood X-Mas show and both men fought a war over the whole year on many many matches in many different combinations. Most of the matches had Jason involved, because he got ejected by the serial killers last december. More importantly were the two singles matches they had against each other. While Freddie won the first match in August in a Bunkhouse Death Match, Eddie attacked Freddie in November where he nearly ripped Freddie's mask off. The King Of Philadelphia challenged the movie monster to a Hair Vs. Mask Death Match at Blood X-Mas. In a brutal match Eddie got the upperhand over Freddie and won the match with a piledriver through a table from the turnbuckle. The crowd was desperated to see the real face of Freddie and the fans were shocked when Eddie revealed his own brother Doug as Nightmare Freddie! With Freddie being unmasked the future of the movie monster group was definitely in jeopardy. In the ring Doug told everyone that he was pissed at Eddie when he was the world champ, Doug got injured and Eddie just cared about his world title. TWO NEW FACTIONS Like mentioned above there were two new factions in W*ING. Mr. Pogo created his Pogo army with Mitsuteru Tokuda as being loyal to him joining, young boy Toyonari Fujita also being loyal to him, TNT (Savio Vega), Shoji Nakamaki and Yusuke Yamaguchi as being Pogo's manager. The Headhunter joined the Pogo Gundan in fall when the injured Headhunter A announced it while Headhunter B took a time off from wrestling and also came back in December alongside his long time partner. NO RESPECT was founded by The Great Kabuki and Tarzan Goto in October and they invited Gedo & Jado to their group, the young boys Hido and Yoshihiro Takayama and finally Hisakatsu Oya and Hiromichi Fuyuki. The group may lost some multi-man fights but the important matches on televised shows were all won by a member of NO RESPECT. WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Although they're fighting on different battlefields, Mitsuhiro Matsunaga and Ryo Miyake went into 1993 as the reigning World Tag Team Champions. The W*ING army team defended the title against various teams such as Jerry Lynn & Dr. Wagner Jr. in January, Los Cowboys (El Texano & Silver King) in February, Crypt Keeper & Boogie Man, Tom Prichard & Dick Murdoch and finally against enemy Mr. Pogo and Shoji Nakamaki in a brutal hardcore fight in May. Just a few weeks later The Pitbulls, Gary Wolfe and Anthony Durante, surprisingly beat the champs and took the titles off them. The americans defended the titles three times in a row but eventually were stopped by Jado & Gedo in September. The mean heel team beat Great Sasuke & Hinsei Shinzaki, Los Cowboys and finally at Blood X'Mas the returning Headhunters to close 1993 as the tag title holders. WORLD JR. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP We start the year with Great Sasuke and we'll end it with Great Sasuke, but first thing first. Michinoku Pro's Great Sasuke seemed unstoppable, beating the likes of Eddie Guerrero, Gedo and Art Barr for example. Sasuke defended the title on five occassions but lost the strap to Eddie Guerrero in summer. Guerrero won the inaugral W*ING Junior League which got him a titlematch against Sasuke again. Guerrero defended the Junior title four times against Poison Sawada, Solar, Silver King and his tag partner Art Barr. Guerrero and Sasuke meet yet again at Blood X'Mas where Sasuke regain the title. WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Miguel Perez Jr. was one of the first stars of W*ING but only until April. The man from Puerto Rico defended the title twice before losing the strap to Crash The Terminator (Bill DeMott) in April. That was Perez' last match at W*ING as he had a fallout with owner Micky Ibaragi. Crash got a rocketpush beating the likes of Crypt Keeper, Mitsuo Momota, Tom Prichard, Nightmare Freddie, Jason The Terrible, Freddie again and Ryuma Go in October with seven defendes to close out the year. He had no title defenses scheduled after the Ryuma Go fight althought he got challenged at Blood X'Mas by the legendary Kim Duk. HAPPENINGS They were some big happenings going on at W*ING such as the fallout with Miguel Perez Jr. in spring and the whole WWC crew from Puerto Rico in September. W*ING announced the end of the deep partnership with WWC because of backstage related stuff. With the end of the agreement some guys like Gypsy Joe, The Invaders, Iceman and even Dick Murdoch (who got in trouble multiple times backstage) were cut. Just a month later W*ING announced a partnership with Michinoku Pro and Eastern Championship Wrestling from Philadelphia. GUEST STARS/SIGNINGS The already mentioned Cactus Jack made two apperances for W*ING before signing with the World Wrestling Federation. After leaving All Japan Pro Wrestling the 23 years veteran Mitsuo Momota joined W*ING permanently to wrestler and train the upcoming generation at the W*ING dojo. Former NJPW and AJPW star Dynamite Kid came to W*ING for his only matches in 1993, a fairly dissapointing singles match against Tom Prichard and a trios match at Blood X-Mas alongside Kim Duk and Jimmy Snuka against Crash The Terminator, Jason The Terrible and Tom Prichard. We already mentioned the W*ING dojo and at the end of the year the first graduate came through the dojo: Ryoichi Tsushima, 24 year old from Yokohama, 6'2 and 285lbs. 1994? With the new year on the horizon what can be expected from the promotion? The Serial Killers seems to be a dead group now with leader Nightmare Freddie being unmasked but what will happen between the Gilbert Brothers from now on? Can Pogo and Matsunaga co existed for a while to fight NO RESPECT? And on top of that Micky Ibaragi announced a new championship for the promotion. The third edition of the Grand J-Challenge will be seperated in four blocks where the top wrestler of each block will qualify for a semi final match to fight for a spot in the ultimate final match which will take place at the Kyoto Prefectural Gymnasium. Let's have a look at the blocks! A-BLOCK With Joffy Laine and Billy Robinson in the block, the inaugral tournament from 2018 will have a replay when Laine and Robinson on the second night of the block. The other two will be REAL BLOOD's Yuta Isono and newly acquired Hijo Del Relampago, who joined WCG after his Burning Hammer contract expired. B-BLOCK Just like his Rebel X Gun mate Relampago, Jin Miyamoto jumped ship to White Canvas and will be one of the four participants in Block B. He'll face also former BHOTWG wrestler Crimson Ghost on the very first night of block action. With three time WCG Junior Heavyweight Champion Japanese Phoenix and former title challenger Magnum Kobe two big favourites are going to fight for a place on top. C-BLOCK Former Junior Heavyweight Champion KC Glenn seeks to become champion again but for that he needs to get past current Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champ Musashi. The latter will face his EXODUS enemy Tsuneyo Yanagimoto of REAL BLOOD and former Junior Tag Champ Nichiren Amagawa. D-BLOCK The current Junior Heavyweight titleholder El Mítico Jr., and last year's Grand J-Challenge winner, is going to have some nightmares when he'll face two former tag champs in Masa Kurata and Konrad Mäkinen. Both men will try to top the group alongside Hachigoro Maeda.

『Pro Wrestling Love In Chiyoda 2021』 – May 5th, 2021Chiyoda Kokugikan (Tokyo, Kanto) [Emperor Choice, WCG Global & Aichi] The rain began to pour down from the sky a couple of hours prior to the start of the show, the queue before the entrance looked like an army of umbrella's and the start of the show needed to be delayed because of an issue on the hands of the tv stations due to a lightining strike. Nevertheless the crowd came in droves to see the big golden week event of White Canvas Grappling. With the big tournament win under his belt, Fujio Narahashi looked better than ever before. The "Strong Pitbull" threw big bombs at the champion but he wasn't able to get the "Machine Gun"'s shoulders down for straight three seconds. However Bunrakuken Torii seemed to be baffled by Narahashi's fighting spirit and was nearly beaten down after a big hit on the chin. After all Torii picked Narahashi up after hitting a dangerous brainbuster to end the fight with his spinning forearm smash to defend his title for the third time. After the fight Torii wanted to thank the fans for coming in this special weather condition when the music of Heihachiro Sakai hits and the latter challenged Torii to a match at the next possible date. The dispute between American Demolition and the Rogue Squad continued after today's six man tag team match although a much more important moment happened after the match. After celebrating their win the three faces were attacked by the Rogue Squad which got a slightly majority over Morimasa Kato and the two americans. Just in time when Greg Gauge wanted to curb stomp Kato a music hits in Chiyoda, a music we didn't heard for 15 months. YOSHINAKA TAKU returned to WCG after his broken neck indicent in an Intercontinental titlematch against Motoyuki Miyake in February 2020. The roar of the crowd were so loud that you couldn't hear anything in the ring, Taku stared at the Squad and eventually kicked Diaz out of the ring to the delight of the crowd. Welcome back! We had three more championship matches tonight in which two titles even changed hands: RISE Openweight Champ Koshiro Ino successfully defended his title against REAL BLOOD warrior SUKI in a grueling battle while Tadakuni Toshusai lost the GCG World Heavyweight title to Burning Hazard's Zeshin Makioka and Yasunobu Masuno lost the United States Heavyweight title to forme champ Ernest Youngman. WRESTLING INTERNATIONAL NEW GENERATIONS ~ W*ING (1992) What is W*ING you may ask? Huh, sit down kids. Have you ever wanted to see a hardcore wrestling show like FMW or ECW mixed with horror movie villains? W*ING has your back. Not gonna do a full history lesson here but, long story short, W*ING was a hardcore promotion where, like in the already mentioned FMW and ECW, many good wrestlers had their homes over the short span of two years of W*ING's existence. I got inspired by the great saves of @Peria & now @Dalton with the awesome 1992 mod made by @Fleisch. Let's dive into the first year of the danger zone. MAIN STORY Our main story was simple as it gets: The "homegrown" W*INGS babyface army, which includes Mitsuhiro Matsunaga, Mr. Pogo, Ryo Miyake, Yukihiro Kanemura (aka Kintaro Kanemura) and Mitsuteru Tokuda, had their issues with the Serial Killers group. Basically all movie monster mashed together to seriously hurt the babyface hardcore guys. The feud began with the very first tour in February (we've had a standalone event in January before) when Jason The Terrible and Leatherface had beaten Mr. Pogo & Tokuda and Jason began to cut Tokudas forehead after the match. "Mr. Danger" Matsunaga wanted a piece of them but instead he got caught by a hit accidentally and was out for a couple of weeks, so the first big match was delayed until March at Baptism By Fire where Matsunaga beat Leatherface in the first Fire Death Match. In May it was Matsunaga yet again who buried Freddie Krueger in the first ever Casket Match, who dissappeared after that. In July Matsunaga was on the hunt again, this time his personal feud with Leatherface was ended when he defeated him in a Bed Of Nails Death Match. The next big match was held in September when Freddie Krueger came back and teamed up with Jason to beat Matsunaga and Mr. Pogo in a Moonlight Darkness Death Match. Just a month later Freddie and Jason won the then vacant W*ING World Tag titles by beating Yukihiro Kanemura & Ryo Miyake in a Caribbean Barbed Wire Death Match, just a match prior a trio of heels hung up Matsunaga on the balcony of Korakuen Hall, it seemed like a disaster for W*ING. After beating the Serial Killers in a 4 versus 4 Bunkhouse Death Match, Ryo Miyake and Mitsuhiro Matsunaga challenged for the Tag titles which were defended a match prior. On the last show of the year called Blood X'Mas the W*ING army got their revenge when Matsunaga put Jason to sleep and Miyake and him won the tag titles. Freddie attacked Jason after the match which lead to some cracks in the heel faction and Jason de facto got bumped out of it. Krueger then cost Eddie Gilbert his W*ING World title a match later to start something new. However there was even more to come... I have to mention that the Serial Killers and the babyface group nearly faced off in every of our 68 shows we've booked in 1992, so there was always something happen. I just mentioned the very big stuff above, there were also some WWC Caribbean Heavyweight Titlematches (a title who was shared between W*ING and the Puerto Rican CSP promotion) when Kanemura was the champ. SERIAL KILLERS INFORMATION When you've got a big heelish group full of masked wrestler it's interesting to track who these people are. The first months we've had the original Leatherface (Corporal Kirchner), Jason The Terrible (Rafel Rodriguez), Crypt Keeper (Jose Estrada Jr.) and Freddie Krueger (Tough Tom aka former WWF wrestler Tom Bennett). After the casket match Tough Tom left the Freddie gimmick behind and created the Texas Hangman Strangler gimmick and joined the faction as the Strangler. In July the original Leatherface left W*ING and joined Tenryu's SWS and was replaced with the pretty unknown Sean Royal as the new Leatherface. A month later the Boogie Man was introduced and joined the faction, the gimmick is played by the young Mad Man Pondo at the moment. The legendary Giant Kamala joined the group in June but left in September and turned face. WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP When I started there were no titles yet so I did three tournaments, the first one was in April for the tag straps. In the finals of the tournament The Headhunters met Matsunaga and Kanemura and won the titles to become the inaugral champions. The dangerous dou dominated the tag team division from the scratch, defended the titles five times in a row against the likes of Eddie & Doug Gilbert, The Pitbulls, Gedo & Jado, Dick Murdoch & Crusher Takahashi and The Terminators (Crusher The Terminator aka Bill DeMott & The Terminator aka Marc Laurinatis) before they needed to vacate it due to the bad injury of Headhunter A. He will miss 18 months of action so a new champion team was crowned in October like I mentioned above: Jason & Freddie Krueger. They defend the title once against former stablemate Kamala and Headhunter B before losing the strap to Matsunaga and Miyake in December. WORLD JR. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Just a month after the tag tourney, the Jr. tourney started with eight participants from all over the world. In the finals we saw young Eddie Guerrero lose to El Texano from Mexico who became the inaugral champ. The Cowboy defended the title against young talent, who'll conquer the wrestling world a few years later in real life: Jerry Lynn, Dr. Wagner Jr., Gedo, Solar & Psicosis. He finally lost the title in October, surprisingly against his own tag partner Silver King. The latter made fun of the japanese juniors, who were clearly outnumbered in the company, too young and green and not that good like the mexicans. Super Delfin emerged but also lost to the King but in December it was Great Sasuke who captured the title and rescued the honor of Japan. I need to mention that Silver King won the yearly award as the best young wrestler of 1992! WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP A company without a heavyweight champ is not a company right? In August the W*ING fans witnessed the end of Matsunaga's hope to become the first champ when Leatherface attacked him in his first round match against Jason and cost him the title. Matsunaga went on to get his revenge against the chainsaw maniac (mentioned above) and a "King Of Philly" appeared and beat Jason in the finals to become the inaugral holder of the title. Eddie Gilbert "lost" his brother in that very fight when the Killers put Doug into a bodybag but Eddie was happy to be a champ. He moved on to beat Kamala, the legendary Jimmy Snuka and Tom Prichard but eventually lost the championship in December against Miguel Perez Jr. due to an interference of Freddie Krueger. GUEST STARS Someone said in an interview before "when Terry Funk appears at your wrestling show, lace his boots for your company that means your company will be recognize as a professional wrestling company". Good for us! We've hired the legendary Funkster for the very first show of 1992 called "Cornered By Enemies". Funk teamed up with Mr. Pogo to take on Matsunaga and Tokuda in a hardcore match and they won the match. The Funkster came back to W*ING at Blood X'Mas where he lost a No Ropes Barbed Wire Match in the main event against the aformentioned Mr. Pogo. The man from Amarillo wasn't the only big star who appeared in W*ING. "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka walked out of the WWF and wrestled three times for us. He lost in a Barbed Wire Bat Match against Mr. Pogo in April, came back in September to beat Dick Murdoch but lost the World titlematch against Eddie Gilbert in October. There were some other new "signings" I did but there were no bigger names like those two I mentioned above. 1993? What can we expect of the upcoming year? Jason may be ejected from the Serial Killers group by Freddie Krueger and speaking of Freddie why did he cost Eddie Gilbert his World title? In the "MAIN STORY" part I teased something happening in the last sentence and yes it seemed like that Mr. Pogo wasn't happy with something in the W*ING army. The legend himself didn't teamed with the hardcore babyface group for the last eight weeks and just appeared for the big tv-shows at Korakuen. Let's see what will happen!

『Road To PRO WRESTLING LOVE - Tour Recap』 When White Canvas Grappling is heading towards Chiyoda you can feel the crisp and heat in the air while attending a show prior to the big show next to the Emperor's garden. With three titles on the line before the show at the Sumo Hall, WCG had even more to offer! Nagoya were witnesses of two title matches. The Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship were on the line when The Revengers, Musashi and Japanese Phoenix, took on the team of Silver Tiger and Hachigoro Maeda. Phoenix splashed on Maeda to successfully defend the titles for the third time, poor Tiger he loss yet another titlematch on WCG turf. The RISE Openweight Six Man Tag titles changed hands in the main event when the Burning Hazard trio of Kiyonari Genji, Ieyoshi Shimakage and Taheiji Konoe beat Shogun Watoga, Shiba Mizoguchi and Morimasa Kato after sixteen minutes to become the fifth champion trio. In Kobe the WCG World Tag Team titles were on the line when Team 220kg, Gonkuro Kamioka and S-1 Festival winner Fujio Narahashi, took on the team of WCG World Champ Bunrakuken Torii and Akira Arato. The champions partner of choice seemed a bit odd but Torii explained that Arato has fire in his eyes and boy oh boy did he. Arato bled, sweat and fought like a mad man but it was a step too far for him. Narahashi choked him out and promised that Torii will be next. Brandon Smith wants Greg Gauge as soon as possible. After beating the WCG Intercontinental Champion during the S-1 Festival the "Bulldozer" set another exclamation mark by remaining undefeated in all "Road To.." shows against Gauge. Smith declared himself as the next challenger althought he knows that a Intercontinental titlematch won't happen at Pro Wrestling Love. Traditional the IC title won't be defended at Chiyoda but one months later in Fukuoka at Strong Energy.

A formation of White Canvas Grappling as a patron, with our subsidiaries WCG Of America and the now newly created promotion DIASPORA. We’ll share details about DIASPORA later at the press conference. We can also announce that we acquired the majority of percentages of PGHW, the company will continue as an entity and remain as it exists right now.“, said Fukazawa to the wrestling world. A real shocker! Nonetheless the companies will become an union where WCG founder Junnosuke Fukazawa will be the head of the umbrella between the companies. The biggest question wrestling fans around the world have is, „will there be cross promotional shows?“ Fukazawa replied: „Yes. We have plans to have a yearly supershow with wrestlers from WCG and PGHW competing.“ The next update was about DIASPORA. The famous "Golden Week" is upon us and White Canvas Grappling is on the traditional "S-1 Revenge season". When Japan hits the 5th day of May the whole country is on holiday because of the "Children's Day" (Kodomo no hi) and that's when WCG has always their show Pro Wrestling Love right next to the Imperial Palace of Japan's Emperor. After a winning the S-1 Festival, Fujio Narahashi has earned the chance to challenge WCG World Heavyweight Champion Bunrakuken Torii in the shadow of the emperor. Despite being eligible to challenge the champ made an enquiry to challenge for Narahashi's tag titles before the big clash on May 5th. The latter accepted and replied that Torii can choose a partner of his choice. The match was set for a televisided "Road To" show in Kobe. SUKI grabbed the opportunity after beating RISE Openweight champ Koshiro Ino and challenged him to a match at Chiyoda Kokugikan. The member of REAL BLOOD stated that after beating "The Kobra" once made him aware how susceptible Ino actually is. Also the GCG World Heavyweight title will be on the line when Tadakuni Toshusai defends the championship against Burning Hazard's Zeshin Makioka while Yasunobu Masuno will protect the WCG US Heavyweight title against Rogue Squad's Ernest Youngman.
