  1. For me, I'd say TCW is in a better spot than SWF for survival down the line. The underdog label helps and MAW is a big get for a Dev company. I also love seeing Chris Flynn in The Syndicate, always book him in RTG games.
  2. Really iffy on the PGHW changes for 2020, while its great to see a new wave get that rise in the company, I will always miss PRIDE and Yoshimi as in ring wrestlers, it was always going to happen, but I hate to see all the casualties of the wrestling style sine its my favorite to book.
  3. Yes, one of my favorite mods. Love your work on the 2016 mod.
  4. <p>Gonna always recommend it for people who get into the Cverse for maybe the first time in Japan or even tried it before and couldn't lock it down.</p><p> </p><p> PGHW is a fantastic starting point for Cverse Japan and the overhauls to the region should do even more wonders for it, its a small roster, but teeming with talent to carry you into longterm saves, doesn't need to rely too much on angles or storylines, just wrestling and more wrestling. When I first started Tew 2013, it really helped me learn the importance of stats in regards to matches and how to structure a card.</p>
  5. Just wanted to say I appreciate all the comments of support and engagement with the diary. Hopefully all the plans for this come to head.
  6. <p>JD Morgan explains the in-ring excellence</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GaEZpsT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GaEZpsT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> "Alot of people think DAVE and they immediately run to the weapons and blood, but no one sees the fact we had a very solid in-ring basis in the company." JD Morgan shifts in his wooden chair as it lets out a little creak. Its smaller frame in comparison to the man sitting in it, makes it hard to shift in, but Morgan is able to fit well even with the occasional creak here and there. </p><p> </p><p> "We had myself, Eric Tyler, Nemesis, Johnny Martin and Vin Tanner all in that company at once and anyone of those guys could make magic in between ropes. I feel that once Phil started to embrace the workhorse technical wrestling, DAVE as a whole benefited. The fans got used to the style and it became somewhat of an association with us in the late 90s, but most of DAVE is remembered today as the rebel, in your face company that offered blood, sex and violence. The company was a lot more than that."</p>

Looking to make a prisoner gimmick for him.</p>
  9. DAVE rolls back this Friday for an action packed show! Join us as we reinvent your Fridays!
  10. <p>The JD Morgan sitdown</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GaEZpsT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GaEZpsT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> He sits in the wooden chair and glances over to the camera and back at me. I give him the signal that we are rolling and he goes to speak.</p><p> </p><p> "I'm JD Morgan and this is DAVE: Rocky Road."</p><p> </p><p> He continues to smile as I offer him a group of generic questions about everything from how he felt about winning the belt off Martin and the feud.</p><p> </p><p> "Well that feud was money for us. I mean fans across the Tri-State hated me and Phil, which isn't something you get too much these days outside of internet trolls, but 97 was different. You could feel it in the air, but to debut a name like that in our feud."</p><p> </p><p> He lets out a very loud Wooooo Baby for us, which gets a few chuckles in the crowd.</p><p> </p><p> "Phil outdid himself with that, I mean really outdid himself. Nemesis was a huge coup for DAVE in midst of HGC and SWF trying to tie us all down. This was special and everyone in the back knew it and we all had to step our game up for it. "</p>

  12. Will You Be There for DAVE Highway To The Danger Zone? Another retro video plays of an old school DAVE ad across the screen with cheesy local rock music playing in the Background.
  13. DAVE Back In Black, Monday, Week 2, January 1997 DAVE Back In Black Monday, January 1997 Pennsylvania Park
  14. So what was Back in Black's card? "So that was the first ever DAVE show of 1997?" Martin nods as he smiles a bit to the camera giving us a clear indication of his recognition of the nostalgia trip this first memory had taken him on. He looks back to me directly, almost peering into my soul as he gives another answer. "Our first show of 97 and the first show since Phil was officially the owner of DAVE. It was a indication of where we ere gonna take DAVE and the Eat Coast wrestling scene for our time. Even as we packed Pennsylvania Park full, we were turning away 700 to 800 people a night and Phil started to look towards more generic venues. The vibe was special and I think all of us in the back knew it because this story of Me, Morgan and Phil got a little more complicated legally as Back in Black hit." He takes a piece of promotional paper and shows it to me. Its an advertisement of DAVE Back in Black and the officially announced matches for the show. It read the following:

  17. “Is the camera on?” I motioned to the camera crew to place the light more to highlight the backdrops. Obviously the mood was gonna be a little darker, it was a wrestling documentary, nothing positive here. This in contrast with the guy sitting in front of me; his PSW shirt white and bright for this segment and the guy flashed the pearly whites as our crew gave the thumbs up. He looked back to us and positioned his head a little more towards the camera. If I was inside his head, I could guess he was about to start a story that would captivate us for the rest of the night. “My Name is Johnny Martin and this is DAVE: Rocky Road.”
  18. Waylon Walls has to go somewhere bigger, he is always a huge indy star in ever regional or smaller Cverse game I play, had him play in a stable and he was the biggest star after a while and TCW snapped him away
  19. Probably gonna Book Pride in the Cverse and make a journal out of it
  20. Looks like it was Shingo. Pretty psyched for him to really have a post-Dragon Gate career and hyped to see what matches are in store for him in NJPW
  21. <p>--- RATINGS FORM ---</p><p> </p><p> Brawling:</p><p> Mostly old-school NWA/WWE Main Event style. 22. Thank you very much for the Utami cut, Joe. Now I can finish rounding out some of the Stardom stuff for a test game
  23. Hyped for all the attention getting paid to the Joshi scene in this. Might have to run another game through it.

  25. And Isiah Monore loses to a low ranked Middleweight, setting back my plans even more. Take you Monore.
