  1. Take everything you know about Wrestlemania X-7 and replace it with a William Regal Vs. Chris Benoit Main Event for the WWF title. The Ai really doesn't like booking their star attractions well in this one. Austin went from 95 popularity to 72, Goldberg went from 88 to 55(Thanks Russo) and Rock is sitting at 70, leaving Mick Foley as the most popular man in wrestling in 2001.
  2. The skin as of now is perfect to me, but I wouldn't mind any alterations you make to amend the skin
  3. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Gockelinho" data-cite="Gockelinho" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49694" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I set up a new save and booked WK like whatever and while it's better it's still far away from these guys getting 99 everytime they work with each other in singles matches, I'll do another one I think and sim through and look what AI New Japan books for WK and New Beginning (especially these US shows I cancelled because even the big stars have trash overness in US which makes no sense to begin with, but is like this in the game and you don't have these US indy guys available they had there in rl). <p> </p><p> Please look at the summary for the match order I don't know how to sort it correctly but it should be like this </p><p> </p><p> Battle Royal</p><p> IC</p><p> Jr. Tag Titles</p><p> LIJ vs. Makabe and FinJuice</p><p> US title</p><p> Suzuki-gun vs. CHAOS</p><p> Jr. Title</p><p> NEVER</p><p> White vs. Jericho</p><p> Tag Titles</p><p> IWGP Title</p><p> </p><p> <a href="https://imgur.com/a/4mQBSXT" rel="external nofollow">https://imgur.com/a/4mQBSXT</a></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That seems pretty reasonable from my POV, irl and even in game expecting to get a MOTY candidate every show is pretty unreasonable, a 92 and such are still great scores and the game builds off improving your own booking/the skills of the workers in the mod overtime. You probaly won't be able to accurately represent NJPW's American tours because of the game, and really I wouldn't call the NJPW guys really crazy over here in America, the shows over here aren't drawing the same crowds they do in Japan, etc.</p><p> </p><p> I would check the mental skills of your road agents, since you do have a note about one of them not being able to put the match together, look at Wataru Inoue's mental stats since he seems to be the weak link Road Agent wise. The juniors probably could have gone longer and your six man tag with Yano and Gedo was longer than what the in game crowd expected, check their pushes and try to limit their time.</p>

  5. As others have said, emulating NJPW exactly on TEW or any real world company will always be a hard task. I would try to fiddle with the product, place the young lions on pre shows or 6 man tags with vets more often, and not use the technical master class aims and such, see how regular does for you and also make sure you check the road agent notes
  6. Short watcher Another quick update, probably the second to last one before the first phase 1 beta release. Doing a short watcher(Plus lining up worker names with the nGo pack/Adding bios/Employment history) and here are the results so far. Everything is going pretty well so far, once the bios/employment histories are done, all that is left is venues/locations which I'm not too bothered about now in these early stages as they require their own set of testing. The worker count is around 360 I believe, with only The United States accessible as a region for now and around 8 companies and 10 upcoming workers in the year 2000. Going to add some more, but I wanted to focus on important players year by year so people like Brock, Randy, Shelton, etc. All in All I would say expect this to be updated with one more update from a newer watcher game going the full year and then after that the actual Phase 1 Beta release, I'd put that timeframe between next week Friday( May 22) and the Friday after that( May 29) which is a broad time frame, but something that my best guest. Thank you all again for the interest and comments, I'll get to powering on the employment and bios.
  7. Im gonna book WWF, WCW, ECW on my 2000 mod to hopefully get everything in order for the first phase of release. Other than that, I'm looking at a TCW save to learn the ins and outs of 2020.
  8. <p>Thanks for all the posiitve reponse to this <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Hoping to get this weekend to dive into the full game with this mod and complete employment history, biographies and start tweaking the stats and popularity of workers for a year long watcher/a short play through of the big three companies. </p><p> </p><p> Here are some weekly results from a watcher i started up to see how the AI books and I'm happy with the WCW and somewhat WWF stuff, but ECW does worry me because it seems the AI will run its most popular region one week and decide to do a show for 200 in Hawaii the next, gonna see what I can do about that.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="48001" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><img alt="GFBNfhk.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GFBNfhk.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> <img alt="sVL5mbt.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/sVL5mbt.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="ESRS8yz.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ESRS8yz.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="3JGWb9Q.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3JGWb9Q.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="4Lk6zvT.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4Lk6zvT.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="4Q8Jst0.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4Q8Jst0.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> With a ton of free time coming up, my goal is to get some hours clocked into playing the game, modding and starting some more time into researching things missed out on and such</p>
  9. <p>I would do a few things to provide more info on what you are doing,</p><p> </p><p> 1. Provide the exact name of your real world mode, is it one made from a conversion on over from 2016 or made from scratch for TEW 2020?</p><p> 2. What do you see for the stats of the New Japan guys? You can check this in the in game editor if the exact values arent shown from the skills screen or in the database editor on the main menu.</p><p> 3. How are you booking these matches? Are they open, dominate, slow build, etc.?</p><p> 4. What are the negatives being given in your road agent notes/your show results screen? </p><p> 5. Check your location of where you run, running NJPW shows outside of Japan can ding your ratings since those workers won't be as known. </p><p> </p><p> Tew 2020 has a definite learning curve to it unlike 2016 which I felt was a really smooth transition from 2016 and the mod working process won't be perfected or conversions won't be 100% accurate especially with everyone learning the game.</p>
  10. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Munit" data-cite="Munit" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="48001" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Great to hear! Are you including a lot of future workers in the data that we see today?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yep, that’s the main focus on the next 2-3 days alongside employment history and then looking at things like how booking a show turns out for the first few weeks. Different narratives, etc.</p>
  11. Oh yeah, more than likely I should have the first phase beta out a week or so after release dates. Right now im bumping up workers on the indy scene as well as supplying employment histories, so after the worker count hits around 380-400 for the US region, I will probably drop that beta
  12. Would love to know how the lineage of The Masked Patriot stays a secret. Or even the origin story of the gimmick
  13. Going back and doing some digging through past Nitros/Raws for my own mod, it seems pretty realistic. I mean even in 1999 and such crowds would really only pop for midcarders if they are associated with a hot act( Rock, Foley, etc.) and today's WWE isn't that hot of a product and I think adjusting from TEW 2016 to TEW 2020 as heard here is huge. There is a large spike in difficulty which is welcomed and I'd say pretty up to par with how modern WWE is received. But i enjoy the newest iteration I'd say, TEW 2016 felt really easy at times, in the beginning after a while as well and adjusting to the new spike in difficulty has been both challenging and pretty fun to figure and tweak stuff.
  14. Phase 1 Hype Beta updates Without Further ado, the big three in America so far, I'm pretty much done with the big three companies in America and as of now am working on title, employment history and adding in some free agents to hire up and populate the indy scene.
  15. The wrestling in the blood looks like it did the trick, thanks for all the help everyone
  16. Got some Hogan attributes tweaking to do and mildy settled on this, but it still lists him as a positive influence on the backstage(Him, Nash, Hall, Steiner, etc.) Any advice on what attributes could possibly make him more negative on the backstage culture?
  17. I kinda love it tbh. It’s shifting the American CVerse into more modern wrestling landscape today, it makes playing other companies really fun to fight them off or even expanding their empire by playing them. But that’s just me, I always felt that three big American companies in the CVerse didn’t properly match how wrestling really works and especially how the in game mechanics progress as time goes on
  18. Yeah think I'm gonna have to refocus my booking in PGHW with Kobe since he is so good and deserves that Main event run even with his small stature, that or make Yasuda the main red haired guy around town
  19. Doing some looking around PGHW and it totally escaped me that Matt Blackburn looks amazing. Probably couldn't get him outside of PGHW unless they fold, but he looks like he will run the mantle of top foreign guy in Japanese Cverse for years if he stays over there.
  20. Amazing work. That Pride logo will always be the one logo I always use no matter the version.
  21. But idk what to do with Kobe, all the lightweight and below guys in my Pride games just go to the tag division, can never really see booking them unless I bulk them up.
  22. Nittersweet. Forces me to actually bring up some young talent faster, but man I'm gonna miss Diaz, Yoshimi and PRIDE in ring.Guess I can run Ugaki and Kozue for the next 2 years. Usually KitoGuchi comes along as great singles guys, so I'm hopeful they develop well in 2020.
