Thats weird on the assigned picture thing, could you provide me a newly started game screen with the ngo pack attached, so I could see the pictures in action? I have Trips at the start as an 84 which is like 1 pop point below Foley and I think 2000 is his breakout year in terms of being in that category of higher star for the WWF as him and Steph dominate TV and he is put into these major programs with Rock, Foley and later Austin. I feel star is a nice spot for him, but I'm still fiddling with things. Davey Boy has been bumped, alot of the popularity of WWF and WCW guys have been fixed. Alot of them were really low and just in test runs not getting the grades and crowd reactions you'd expect Godfather or Venis, etc to get. Also Brawler has been massively upgraded as a road agent, so no worries for that.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Just wanted to pop in and say this project isn't dead and far from it. I appreciate all the feedback in this thread and private messages I've received. This is still of course still going on and will still be dropped at beta at 1000 workers. Right now I'm tweaking all of the workers in the database and adding title lineages and new companies to flesh out the Japanese scene and European/UK scene. Its been steady progress, so I'm looking to see how an end of the month/early December release for this beta will hit and once that does, I can see this project really fast forwarding.</p>
  2. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="The Nickman" data-cite="The Nickman" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="51797" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>72 seems low for the WWF in this time period, doesn't it?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Its incredibly low, I'm messing with starting momentum and product settings to see what creates the best shows in these starting months. Most of the rumble is filled with the midcarders and few guys viewed as stars by the game in the beginning months, So i'm trying to see how I can book the ruble better, plus better balance out both the product and popularity of the roster. The tv shows are doing 82-85 based on the product settings I have thus far without Austin and Taker, so trying to see how I can better balance the PPVs to reach beyond that</p>
  3. Messing around with the 2000 mod im working on and trying to book the WWF without Taker and Austin to see how easy/hard it is for the player and what size better replicates what WWF does. Its going pretty well, tried to stay true to the real life and ran the same venue, relative same matches, etc.
  4. Very, very sorry about that. I assume when I moved some things around my mediafire account, it must have messed with the shared link? I was hoping to be quicker to respond to this, but life intervened, but no matter because I have actually improved upon that data massively. It isn't the actual 1.0 release, as that is a way off and still waiting on making sure the other scenes outside of America are stable and after a few multi-year watchers, it seems to be running pretty nicely, so here is the .9 version data. I also updated the front page with links to the resources this mod uses/pictures needed to show up that I assigned. Note: Some of the luchadors don't have pictures because I have done some cuts for them myself, but still working on them, so they are pictureless so far. Still lots of things to improve on overall and lots of things to complete, but if you wanna play what I have as of this moment and the continuous improvements to it, here you go. If you have an feedback, concerns or wish to help, don't hesitate to put them in this thread or put them in a PM for me. Data http://www.mediafire.com/file/hii72qlq5t5dglk/file
  5. 100% agreed with TCW. Easy product, you are pretty secure from being excluded from signing bigger names if you chose to, the product is friendly to trying to create new stars or continue with your current ones. You are in a great spot to just learn the Cverse from TCW alone. The biggest allure of the Cverse to me is the fantasy aspect of it and the best thing would be to just explore the wrestlers and companies while you play because all of them have a pretty cool and unique story.
  6. This is gonna make my upcoming Dragon Gate save even better. Thank you for all the work on this. the manual touring schedules are a real pain.
  7. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="lazorbeak" data-cite="lazorbeak" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="48001" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I've been playing around with the idea of a 2000 mod so I've got a ton of notes, please don't take them personally.<p> </p><p> Popularity in general is way off: if you look at the default data, 50-60 is where established but non-pushed midcarders like John Green and Robbie Retro live. You have people like Jeff Jarrett, Stephanie McMahon, at that level. In January 2000, Stephanie is one of the top heels in the biggest company in the world and Jeff Jarrett is the U.S. champion and has been in the midcard to upper midcard for the last 5 years. Putting them that low trickles down to the next level, where Raven has a 40 and Sean Waltman has a 45: that means Waltman has the same starting popularity as Harry Allen, former TCW tag team and cruiserweight champ, while Raven is just as popular as the Handsome Stranger, a former SWF midcarder who runs a Puerto Rican promotion.</p><p> </p><p> I made this to help create a baseline using the descriptions from TEW 2016, with added descriptions:</p><p> </p><p> Worker Popularity Level</p><p> Icon: 93-100 -very top level guy </p><p> Huge Star: 85-92 -main eventer in national or bigger company </p><p> Star: 78-84 -lower tier main event guy </p><p> Draw: 71-77 -potential main eventer, top level that will sign with cult </p><p> Well Known: 63-70 -cult level main event guy, upper midcarder in top promotion</p><p> Recognizable: 58-62 -established name, featured TV performer</p><p> Regional Star: 41-57- Main eventer in regional to cult fed, mid-level guy in national fed</p><p> Regional Level: 21-40 -has a recognized name/gimmick, but not a main eventer, even in a regional company</p><p> Unknown: 1-20 virtually unknown anywhere, may not have established gimmick.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Right now, Mr. McMahon, Undertaker, Big Show, Kane, and HBK are "well known" perception, rather than star, despite all five being former WWF champions. Then you don't have multiple time champions and pushed upper midcarders like X-Pac, the Outlaws, Shane & Stephanie at the well known level.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Other stuff:</p><p> Bradshaw and Farooq are listed as heels (henchman), when they were already doing the beer-drinking, card-playing face act.</p><p> British Bulldog is a face, he should be a heel as he had just feuded with Rock and teams with Angle in January/February.</p><p> Debra should a face, she turned on Jarrett and is off TV.</p><p> Gillberg should not be under contract- he makes one appearance in February 2000, and is working indy shows all through 1999 and 2000.</p><p> Hardcore and Crash Holly should be heels who just worked with Rock & Mankind, and Hardcore is feuding with Jericho.</p><p> Ivory is listed as a face.</p><p> Lita has not debuted, debuts in February as a face, should be in developmental.</p><p> Scott Vick debuts in March, should be in developmental.</p><p> Stevie Richards should be a face, doing the sidekick/impersonator gimmick.</p><p> Terri manages the Hardyz for the moment.</p><p> Trish debuts in March, should be in developmental.</p><p> Rikishi and Too Cool are red hot in January 2000, and Scotty and Rikishi should probably both have "Hot New Move" and significantly better starting momentum.</p><p> Droz is not in the game- should either be retired wrestler, or an active wrestler with a spinal injury that will cause him to retire.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> Don't Worry, I don't any criticism as a personal attack. I welcome it and mostly agree with the criticism echoed by yourself and others on here, which helps to reflect the updates to this. </p><p> </p><p> -The Face and Heel starting dispositions should be updated and tweaked.</p><p> -As well as momentum and attributes for everyone has been updated and Terri has been added as a manager, not sure why she wasn't before, must have slipped my mind.</p><p> -The popularity of everyone has been overhauled, if I remember correctly this was the popularity starting points for when the caps on popularity were stricter in previous patches and I was looking to test those caps. That has been completely overhauled and changed for almost everyone in the database. </p><p> -Lita/Trish are on the main roster simply as a basis of MCW being pretty obscure to find information on and even function for the WWF in game as a second developmental. More than likely gone fix this by putting both on starting Hiatus until their irl debut or might stuff them down in OVW Not too sure yet what I will do with the two.</p><p> -Droz and other retired or deceased wrestlers are being added after I get the active people set in stone, so that is something I've set aside for down the line.</p><p> -Gillberg is something thats kinda tricky to replicate, I might just have him on a expiring handshake deal so he can drop the Light Heavyweight title and leave the WWF. There isn't from what I can see any real proper way for me to try and replicate that in game aside from maybe a loan deal with WWF or a handshake deal.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> And for anyone looking for any more progress on this mod. I have gotten every region with at least 1 company, excluding India and Australia, but probably gonna add WWA as a future company for Australia.I have gone through to add attributes and overhaul popularity for everyone in the game right now and I'm at about 850 workers. Got more starting storylines for the big three in America and trudging through WCW shows to find more storylines, since the creative is all over the place at this time. Still waiting on a more fleshed out version of Japan, but I'm in no huge hurry right now as I have a lot of stuff to overhaul. The milestone is 1000 active wrestlers and that is at about 780 right now, but I'd say that I'll probably hit that milestone by the end of the month, then I'm onto title histories, events, etc. for other companies. I got no real ETA for this Version 1 of the beta besides I'm working hard on it still and getting some real nice progress.</p>
  8. Should be compatible with the ngo picture pack, which you can find at TEWDB here, https://tewdb.com/img572.htm.
  9. I think you might be on the wrong mod thread. If I can gather, this is meant for maybe the 2010 mod? If it is this mod then Sting is unavailable for WCW like some other main eventers for the company to simulate him not being on the show until around April. For Foley, he should be available to be booked right away for this mod.
  10. Going pretty well. The Goal is to have the next full beta release at around 1000-1200(Around 100 Future workers) workers and right now I'm about 600-620 workers. I've gotten Mexico/the UK and Europe active, pushing some more indy companies in both the US and Canada and then adding in Japan which will really push the worker count.. So while no definite time table, I'd say its looking pretty good, not fully fleshed out finished, cause I plan to keep on going with more and more until I'm out of any ideas, but its been progressing quickly.
  11. Doing a Local to Global in the GlobalVerse mod and currently in 2002. -Trying to Build Lamont Banner as the biggest star in MMA -Trying to milk the the popularity of Matthew Dean as I build up Monroe -Asanovic got busted twice for PEDs so that dream of a Light Heavyweight War with Katou got flushed down the toliet. The Biggest disappointment for me has been probably the middleweights, I get Dean is amazing but everyone seems to just fall so far of actually being a threat.
  12. Gonna give the Cverse 1977 database a whirl Probably play as Ed Henson? Goal is to grow CWF into a national promotion/roleplay the booking of the youngish legends of the Cverse up until the 1990s, might hold off until the full full release. I love the Cverse and I really love historical mods, so historical cverse mods are like the ultimate win win.
  13. Year 2 is in the rearview! WHW had a product change going from my loving Respectful Wrestling to Psuedo Sport as Lee Wright sees our future in the British Style. We would Lose Davis Wayne Newton this year to TCW and that would keep us down, but signing up Black Flash and getting Mario De Silva would help save us. This year has been us building our finances and looking to get to 500k if I can then jump to Wrestleworld, I just i wish the stars would stopped getting booked on there, since they get grabbed by USPW who would rise to Titanic. The bottom of this barrel hurts. We introduced a Tag Team title and look to a Midcard title for our redebut to Wrestleworld, which I'll have my user character win in order to build our stars and we signed Lucy Stone-McFly. Save us Lucy. And then something happened! In Australia we got our big break and found out RAW Has no head booker leaving it open for one Mr. Brooks
  14. <p>First Year in the books.</p><p> </p><p> WHW was the hottest indy company around, as we won most improved company, going from Insignificant to Tiny to Small all in one year! This was mostly thanks to one Ernest Youngman, who would jump to SWF, I'll save you from them, someday. This was a good and bad year, we rose pretty well, but we aren't ready for the Wrestleworld jump, too much costs that offset profit, so I'm make 2021 about making the funds to stay afloat and then jump back to WrestleWorld. </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="jBCAZbr.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/jBCAZbr.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="R3TzLH6.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/R3TzLH6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="aBOKvja.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/aBOKvja.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> We got 3 achievements for the year, so here are those rolls:</p><p> 5."Lean On Me" Gain Strong Friendship with random wrestler in your promotion. Any addictions from your character's and your new friend’s attributes are set to Former.</p><p> </p><p> 8. "Where There’s A Will" One of your die hard fans has passed on bequeathing their worldly possessions to your promotion. Do you accept it or donate it to charity? Gain EITHER $56,609 or +5 Prestige</p><p> </p><p> 12. "Like A Chimney" Add "Smoker" to your characters addictions. If you have this already then upgrade to "Heavy Smoker" or "Former Smoker" if previously a Heavy Smoker.</p><p> </p><p> Here are my skills after year 1:</p><p> <img alt="G0f1Wx0.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/G0f1Wx0.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> And our end of the year roll for 2020 was:</p><p> </p><p> 27.“RTGdow” Everyone is in the industry is talking about your recent performances, add “Flavour of the Month” to your attributes</p>
  15. <p><img alt="6iFo0Ym.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6iFo0Ym.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="K47zVyi.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/K47zVyi.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Using this RTG to explore and find out more about the product system, so i went with a knockoff ROH company in the Cverse in the Tri-State area to grow quicker and off the bat, Quentin Queen has carried my roster.</p><p> </p><p> Thankfully I can nab PSW workers no issue, so that solves cheap, good talent off the bat, but I signed Blue Dragon and Dreadnought intent on making both major stars.</p>
  16. No, not at all, this is all very fair and things I'm working on as I get the game world all balanced out. Thank you for the help and I appreciate the kind words. Yeah the stables thing is something I was tweaking, trying to find a way for the AI not to dismantle them as quickly as possible and not having a leader sent many stables to being dismantled, so I added Kish as one, but more than likely he will not be as the stables system seems more balanced now. Thank you for the praise, hoping to get a more polished version going sometime in the future. Just a Small update on things, I'm tweaking pretty much everything for the American data from momentum to physical condition , you name it. Right now Im focusing on the Mexican data, as I look to make the Big Two and also collaborating on Japan. So I'm pretty hopeful to have this gameworld expanded in America/Canada as well as bringing in a fleshed out Japan and Mexico.
  17. Appreciate the kind words I can definitely understand why it isn’t as talked about rn, since I’m still adding to it. I have a whole lot more content and updates to give to it over the next few months, but for anyone who is playing rn current version, let me know any and all of your thoughts

Looks like one less roadblock for me.</p>
  21. The WOW Setup The TCW Setup I have run into a problem with debuting companies in my mod, here are the relevant info screens on everything, but for some odd reason neither company will launch in the year I have set for it, is this something happening with other mods or did I screw something up somewhere?
  22. Here are some things I would love some feedback on for the beta: 1. Company Sizes: Do you feel they are fairly sized for this time period/Do you feel popularity across regions are done correctly? 2. Contracts: I'm trying to simulate things like The Radicalz walking out and budget cuts by WCW, so a few workers have their contracts ending this month/mid 2000 or do you feel The Radicalz could be accomplished better by simply adding starting morale to all 4/to simulate pay issues for Awesome in ECW? 3. Typos in writing for everything: I make a fair few typos and have done some work fixing them up here and there. 4. Looking for more data on the independent companies for workers and such: If you would know anymore info on the birth dates/skills/debuts/history for people in OVW, HWA, WWC etc. Let me know. 5. Workers to add to the free agent pool/Companies to add: I'm looking for legends you think would be great additions to the free agent pool(Mostly since I plan on tying all title histories to people) and companies to add to the NWA that are based in America/Canada would be perfect or stand alone companies would be just as perfect. That just about completes it for me, any other things that are messed up, would also be perfect to add. I'm looking to stamp some stuff out and make sure some things are well rounded as I prepare to add more to the data over time and from other regions.
  23. I'm in the process of making a 2000 mod, but you also have a 1997 mod and a 96 mod coming up. I can't give a certain certain date on my own mod, but Forlan's 1997 mod is in beta and the 1996 mod is coming up.
  24. Id say Russo, around this time he is in creative i'm pretty sure and you can go full Russo!
  25. Of course, I always tend to change it to Championship or let it be blank, title just ruins it for me imo
