  1. JULY WEEK 2, 2023 KEYBANK CENTER BUFFALO, NEW YORK Welcome to Monday Night Raw! There are no recaps as we go live to the backstage area where The Judgment Day is walking to Gorilla while their music begins to play. Rhea Ripley leads the way with Dom Dom by her side, Damien Priest in the middle and Finn Balor on the rear. Balor is expected to kick off things and expla……Balor suddenly collapses to the ground and the camera pans back to see The World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin Rollins” with a chair. He wallops Balor two more times before The Judgment Day even realizes that Finn is hurt. When Damien and Dom charge, Seth nails both of them with the chair. That is when the World Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, steps in front of Finn and Seth looks like he is going to nail Mami, before thinking better of it as officials rush in to break things up. Raw Managing Director runs in and looks at the camera and tells the director to go to a commercial. We’ll be right back. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and we see Eric Bischoff storm into the locker room of Seth Rollins who is sitting there with no remorse on his face. The Managing Director berates the World Champion for attacking someone as the show begins. Bischoff says that he understands that Rollins is pissed, but Seth Rollins will not be allowed to start fights in the damned hallway! Rollins says that if Balor wants a fight, Rollins will fight him. Tonight. Eric says not after what Rollins just did. And he will take into consideration, when these two can battle, but it won’t be tonight. But since Seth Rollins is so hell bent on fighting someone tonight, fine…he can fight Damien Priest. Rollins says to put the title on the line and Bischoff reluctantly agrees. Tonight in our featured match: Damien Priest of The Judgment Day gets a World Title match against a very pissed off Seth “Freakin” Rollins. We go to Vic Joseph and Corey Graves who welcome us to an already chaotic Monday Night Raw. And now the format is thrown up in the air because Seth “Freakin” Rollins attacked Finn Balor. They tell us that a stand-by match is being put together and then put over that later tonight, The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes will be on hand to respond to Brock Lesnar’s challenge. And in just under an hour, at the 9pm hour, Trish Stratus will be here to confront her former “bestie”, WWE Hall of Famer Lita. But the stand-by match is ready, let's go to the ring. CANDICE LERAE VS SONYA DEVILLE *Pretty even match that is largely about proving that Candice can compete at a high level *Sonya uses some heel moves, but and gets a few near falls and shots in, but this ultimately is about highlighting LeRae *The finish sees Candice eventually use the La Quebrada (Springboard Moonsault) for the pinfall RESULT: CANDICE LERAE BY PINFALL Following her victory, Candice is celebrating when Nikki Cross comes onto the Titantron. Nikki says that Candice doesn’t get to use her pretty, pretty looks to demand Women’s Title matches. Nikki wants to join that party and she challenges LeRae to a fight next week with the #1 contender’s spot on the line. Candice says she is not afraid of a fight and she will beat Nikki Cross’ ass next week on Raw. In the back we see The Miz and Bronson Reed walking down the hallway. When Raw returns, Reed is in action live…next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and we are told that it is official….next week on Raw Candice LeRae will face Nikki Cross for the #1 Contender’s spot for the Women’s World Title, but Eric Bischoff is making this match No Disqualification. BRONSON REED w/THE MIZ VS RICOCHET *Competitive match, more competitive than what we’ve seen from Reed’s encounters *Reed is put in jeopardy at one point by the fast paced offense from Ricochet before grabbing Ricochet in mid air and turning it into a Belly to Belly *From there it is all Reed and soon, he nails The Tsunami and Miz is already getting up into the ring as the ref counts three RESULT: BRONSON REED WINS BY PINFALL After the match, The Miz says that his burgeoning Hollywood opportunities means that he needs to protect his body more than ever before. So Miz started thinking about what is next, for the most Must See man in WWE. And then it hit him…Miz’s legacy is secured. The Miz is a first ballot Hall of Fame WWE Superstar. He’s main evented Wrestlemania, won multiple championships, is a world renowned star. He’s done it all. So how to make an iconic career that more must see? Take someone else to the top. And that is why The Miz was with Bronson Reed and it’s why he will be with Reed from here on out. Oh, you’ll still see The Miz in action from time to time, don’t worry….but it will be only when the money is right. For now, Bronson Reed will be unleashed on the stars of Monday Night Raw and that starts with that washed up punk, Carlito. Bronson Reed is coming for Carlito and he will make this “comeback” short lived. And when that happens, it will not only be cool….Carlito’s destruction will be…. A W E S O M E! Drew McIntyre is in the back with Byron Saxton. He says that last week, Matt Riddle was screwed over by Imperium, but Drew McIntyre still has a score to settle with them as well. Riddle has a valid issue with GUNTHER and he does have a match with Giovanni Vinci later tonight, but that doesn’t mean that McIntyre will get in the back of the line. Drew announces that he has asked Raw Managing Director Eric Bischoff for an Intercontinental Title rematch at SummerSlam. And when he gets that match, GUNTHER won’t get lucky again. Honky Tonk Man’s record will stay intact, because GUNTHER won’t make it out of Detroit with that title. Drew then goes through the curtain, Drew McIntyre is in action…next on Raw. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and we see a pissed off Cody Rhodes arriving to the arena. Later tonight, The American Nightmare will address Brock Lesnar’s SummerSlam challenge. DREW MCINTYRE VS MANSOOR *This match is largely a squash as Mansoor really isn’t up to the level of Drew McIntyre *It doesn’t take long before a Claymore Kick ends Mansoor’s run in this match…1….2…3 RESULT: DREW MCINTYRE WINS BY PINFALL We go back to Trish Stratus turning on Becky Lynch in the spring, their encounter in Saudi Arabia, the formation of Trish’s crew who screwed Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank and screwed Lynch and Lita last week. The video then cuts to Trish walking down the aisle flanked by Zoey Stark and Piper Niven. When Raw comes back, Trish Stratus promises to confront Lita…live next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns to a graphic promising Carlito returns to Raw next week. We see a video of “during the break” as Drew McIntyre comes through Gorilla having been victorious. He is met by Matt Riddle who tells him in no uncertain terms that Drew McIntyre had his shot with GUNTHER in London. And he didn’t get the job done. It’s time for Drew to step aside, it’s Riddle’s time and he will prove that tonight. McIntyre doesn’t like that and a shoving match takes place but is quickly broken up. Trish Stratus is in the ring and she goes over the long history with Lita. She brings up their rivalry and the historic nature of being the first Women’s Championship match to main event this show. They went through ups and downs while paving the road that these women today walk down and take for granted. And along that road, a friendship was formed. A best friendship. And then Trish did something that she knows hurt Lita. And to be honest, it hurt Trish too. Trish did not want to attack her friend, she really didn’t. But it was a necessary evil to stop a greater threat to the Women’s division in Becky Lynch. Trish understands that Lita was mad and ok, she messed with Trish’s plans at Money in the Bank, but it’s time to put that behind them. Trish then calls Lita out to the ring. Lita looks like she does not believe a word from Trish as she comes down to the ring and Lita wants to get into Trish’s face, but Piper stands in the way and Lita is forced to back up. Trish says that Becky Lynch is not here tonight which means Lita has no protection if Trish unleashes her WMD on Lita, so everyone calm down. Trish goes hard on the personal side of their friendship, even going so far as to call Lita “Amy”. Trish brings up how close they have been outside the ring, brings up that Lita is the Godmother of Trish’s son and daughter. She says that when Vince McMahon called to put Lita in the Hall of Fame, Trish cried at the thought of her friend going in. And then to be the one to induct her? It was everything to Trish. Trish shows a backstage photo of that night of both women in tears hugging. Lita starts tearing up as Trish goes through moment after moment of what they’ve been through together. The good, the bad, the history. She finally looks at Lita and says “I love you, Amy.” which brings Lita to tears. Trish says she understands why Lita did what she did, but now is the time to repair the damage. Trish offers for Lita and her to be friends again. Lita is overcome but says that she loves Trish Stratus as well….the Trish that she knows. But lately, that’s not who has been on tv every week. Lita says that Trish is blinded by her hate of Becky Lynch and she doesn’t know if she can support this Trish Stratus. Lita says that she would love to be besties again…but Trish has to let this go. Trish looks at Lita and says “this will end when Becky Lynch is gone from this place”. And then tells Lita that she will give her the same chance that Trish gave Becky….one week. One week to think about who they used to be and can be again. One week to remember who Lita’s REAL friends are. Next week, Lita better make the right decision or Trish will have to do something to her that even Trish Stratus will regret. Trish and her crew leave a shocked Lita in the ring. Lita has a decision to make in one week’s time…either choose a 20 year + friendship or become the enemy of Trish Stratus. In the back, Matt Riddle is warming up. When Raw returns, Riddle faces Giovann Vinci…next. COMMERCIAL BREAK MATT RIDDLE VS GIOVANNI VINCI *This is a fast paced match early and Vinci surprisingly looks better than he has recently *Riddle controls early until Ludwig Kaiser comes down and trips Riddle and then Vinci takes over and we go through a commercial break on a near fall *Vinci goes throws Riddle to the ground and starts laying in stiff shots before Riddle is able to kick Vinci in the shin and begin a comeback *Before long, Riddle nails a jumping High Knee and then goes for the Bro-Derek but as soon as he hits it, Kaiser rushes into the ring and attacks followed by GUNTHER RESULT: MATT RIDDLE WINS BY DISQUALIFICATION After the match, GUNTHER makes his way down while Imperium begins attacking Riddle. GUNTHER starts chopping away at Riddle until Drew McIntyre runs out to the ring and he has his sword with him. McIntyre tries to swing at Kaiser’s head but he ducks and Imperium quickly leaves the ring area with the damage done. Drew tries to help Riddle up and when he does, Riddle shoves McIntyre right on his ass in the ring before leaving the ring. Riddle goes up the aisle yelling at Drew “Bro, I don’t need your help” while Drew is incensed. We get a promo video of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler. When Raw returns, they will defend their titles against the upstart group of Katana Chance and Kayden Carter…next on Raw. COMMERCIAL BREAK In the back, The Judgment Day is seen hyping up Damian Priest. But Finn Balor looks less than enthused. Balor tells Priest that he knows what his job is tonight. Damian responds by glaring while Dom and Rhea look uncomfortable. Still to come, the World Heavyweight Title is up after this next match. KATANA CHANCE AND KAYDEN CARTER VS RONDA ROUSEY AND SHAYNA BASZLER © *This match goes for a bit and shows that Chance and Carter can compete and have a future on Raw *At one point, Shayna is hit by a Doomsday Device and a near fall scares the crap out of Ronda *Once Rousey is tagged in, it’s all over. She cleans house and before long, Ronda locks in the armbar on Katana Chance for a submission victory RESULT: RONDA ROUSEY & SHAYNA BASZLER RETAIN BY SUBMISSION After the match, Rousey and Shayna say that since clearly Raw’s women offer no real competition, they won’t be around here for awhile. Maybe its time to check out NXT or SmackDown and that’s Raw’s loss. We see Seth “Freakin” Rollins warming up. The main event is next: Damian Priest vs Seth Rollins for the Heavyweight Championship of the World. Don’t go anywhere. COMMERCIAL BREAK DAMIAN PRIEST VS SETH “FREAKIN” ROLLINS © *The match begins with Damian Priest sending every member of The Judgment Day to the back as he wants to do this on his own *Rollins and Priest have a terrific back and forth match where both men trade near falls and stiff shots early *After Damian kicks out of a Pedigree, he floors the champ with a big boot and then starts laying into Rollins with heavy offense in what is really the best Priest has looked in a long time *Everytime Rollins begins a comeback, Priest is there to block it. Once both men collide mid air with Cross Body Blocks, this opens the door for Finn Balor to come down *Rollins and Priest again trade near falls before Priest is set up for a Curb-Stomp but explodes with a Lariat as Seth charges. Some more near falls and a commercial break follows, but soon it looks like Priest could score the upset *Finish sees Finn Balor run down and get onto the apron and grab Seth while Damian charges. Seth moves and Damian crashes into Finn. Seth and Damian trade blows before Damian nails the Reckoning on Seth and covers. But Finn is up on the apron trying to get in and the ref is distracted *When Damian sees this, he gets angry and asks Finn what is going on and Balor responds by shoving his friend who turns around right into a SUPERKICK. Seth nails the Curbstomp next and covers….1….2….3. RESULT: SETH “FREAKIN” ROLLINS RETAINS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL After the match, Seth Rollins goes up the aisle in celebration while Finn is in the ring and forced to watch. Balor and Seth clearly are not done with each other. Damian Priest gets up and grabs Finn and asks him what the hell was that? Finn plays innocent but Priest is pissed. Eventually Dom and Rhea have to get between the two. Are The Judgment Day coming apart? And will Finn Balor and Seth “Freakin” Rollins collide soon? Cody Rhodes is seen walking down the hallway. Raw closes with The American Nightmare’s answer to Brock Lesnar…live…next. FINAL COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns with another promo for Jinder Mahal. Like last week, we see him in India finding his roots. Jinder promises to bring pain and destruction back to Raw with him, very soon. The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes comes out with the Money in the Bank briefcase to a chorus of cheers as he closes Monday Night Raw. Cody steps into the ring and grabs a mic and addresses the audience: “So what does everybody wanna talk about? Look, I’m not gonna keep anyone in suspense for long, that’s not my style. So Brock Lesnar wants to accept my challenge for SummerSlam, but only if I put this briefcase and the contract inside, on the line? Before I give my answer, I want to tell a very quick story. It was less than two months ago, on the Raw after Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia. Eric Bischoff’s first night as Managing Director. I asked Eric Bischoff for a fight with Brock and yeah, I had a broken arm but so what? And Eric said no. I was dejected, I walked away seemingly a broken man….but then I got home and I slept and I woke up the next day and it hit me. Brock Lesnar likes to call himself “The Beast Incarnate”, how very marketable. If there’s one this that this company does better than anyone, it is marketing it’s wrestlers as larger than life. So The Beast sounds marketable, its just not all that accurate. Brock Lesnar isn’t a beast..he’s just a bitch. A stupid, pathetic excuse for a man who is afraid of anyone that doesn’t fear him. I do not fear Brock Lesnar! And so I formed a plan. And part of that plan was getting cleared, no I was not 100% but I was good enough, to return at Money in the Bank. And all of it to capture this contract. Not only to “finish the story”, but to lure Brock in. I knew that Brock Lesnar would never agree to fight me one last time without a carrot to lure him in. Brock, I knew that the second I won this contract, you wouldn’t be able to run from me anymore. So….yes, Brock. You’ve got your deal at SummerSlam! (As soon as Cody says that a cage starts to lower) But it’s the “Biggest Party of the Summer” isn’t it? It’s “The Final Encounter”, more marketing. What a selling point. So let's up the ante…a match of this magnitude needs to have it all. It needs high stakes, it needs blood and it needs violence. If Brock Lesnar wants this contract and to end my career he damned well better be willing to walk into hell to do it. I CHALLENGE BROCK LESNAR TO HELL IN A CELL (The cage lowers completely while the crowd chants Holy S*it) Brock Lesnar, at SummerSlam you get it all. You get me, you get this contract, you get my damned career. All you have to do is survive inside this demonic structure to do it. And Brock, you better be prepared to kill me….. because at SummerSlam, that’s exactly what I am willing to do to you.” What an announcement! The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes has accepted the challenge of Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam to put the Money in the Bank Contract on the line in the Final Encounter, but he just upped the ante. Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes could very well collide, but they will have to walk straight into the depths of hell to do it. Will we see Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam? Brock Lesnar, it’s your move. Good night from Buffalo.
  2. Last week on Raw the World Heavyweight Championship was on the line in an epic encounter between Matt Riddle and Seth "Freakin" Rollins. In the end, following interference from Imperium, Seth Rollins won the night and the match. But it was a sneak attack by The Judgment Day's Finn Balor that was the lasting image of last week's broadcast. Why did Balor attack the champion? Finn Balor will be on hand this week to address this issue. Last week, Mr. Money in the Bank Cody Rhodes challenged Brock Lesnar to one more fight at SummerSlam. Lesnar responded by coming to the ring after a Judgment Day attack on Rhodes' to accept the match, but only if the Money in the Bank contract was on the line. Will the American Nightmare accept? Also, after screwing over Becky Lynch and Lita in their attempt to become WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Trish Stratus' says that she will call Lita to the ring this week. What will be the next chapter in this issue between two Hall of Famer's? Also scheduled in action will be Matt Riddle against Imperium's Giovanni Vinci. Following Imperium cost him the Heavyweight Championship of the World, can Riddle keep his cool? Don't miss Raw LIVE this Monday on USA.
  3. WWE Raw opens with still photos from Saturday night in London, England for Money in the Bank. The photos focus on Rhea Ripley’s successful title defense, KO & Sami defeating Imperium, GUNTHER’s defeat of Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle’s save from the 3 on 3 brawl, the World Title match and both the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches. The last image we see is Cody Rhodes becoming Mr. Money in the Bank. JULY WEEK 1, 2023 CFG BANK ARENA BALTIMORE, MARYLAND We go into the arena where the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes steps out onto the stage holding the Money in the Bank briefcase. Cody is triumphant and all smiles as he gets into the ring, wincing a little with his injured arm and grabs a mic. Cody asks “what does everyone want to talk about” before explaining how happy he is to have won the Money in the Bank match Saturday night in London because this gives him a chance to finish the story once more. Rhodes says that he knows that it’s trite and played out for the whole Money in the Bank briefcase winner to feign cashing in. That’s not his style. Cody Rhodes knows that tonight there will be a World Heavyweight Championship match between Matt Riddle and Seth “Freakin” Rollins. And Cody wishes both of them luck tonight, but both men can rest assured, the American Nightmare is not coming for them here tonight. That honor belongs to one man….Brock Lesnar. Cody says that before he begins to focus on becoming a champion, he must first settle the score with The Beast Incarnate. So Brock Lesnar, come out here and let's fight…. Instead of Brock Lesnar, Cody gets The Judgment Day who comes out to the entrance area. Damien Rhea & Dominik flank Finn Balor who has the microphone and says that Saturday Night Cody Rhodes did win the briefcase, but he did so by sneaking up behind Finn and pushing Balor off the ladder. Finn Balor should be the one holding that case and should be the one with opportunity and Cody Rhodes stole it from him. He just weasled up that ladder and shoved Balor off like a coward. Cody says that is how the match goes and instead of crying like a little baby, maybe Finn should just accept that he got out maneuvered. Rhea grabs the mic and says then maybe Cody should prove that he’s a man here tonight and face Finn Balor in a match. Cody smiles and says that all they need to do is ask. Cody accepts the challenge - Finn Balor vs Cody Rhodes could very well happen here tonight. But the challenge for a fight with Lesnar remains unanswered. Stick around, Raw is just beginning here on USA. COMMERCIAL BREAK When Raw returns, Vic Joseph & Corey Graves tell us that Eric Bischoff has confirmed the challenge that we just saw. Finn Balor of the Judgment Day will indeed face The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes later on here tonight. They then take us back to last week where Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler issued an open challenge to defend the Women’s Tag Team Titles here tonight. We are told that Eric Bischoff has a “epic team” for this match, the champs are in the ring so let’s find out who the team is… Lita’s music plays as the WWE Hall of Famer comes out and then The Man Becky Lynch’s music plays. The former Women’s Tag Team Champions are reuniting for a shot at their titles right now. BECKY LYNCH AND LITA VS RONDA ROUSEY AND SHAYNA BASZLER Match #1: WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles - Becky Lynch & Lita vs Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler * Wild brawl between four tough women to start the match before Lita is blasted from behind by Ronda right in her injured neck *Lita tries to hot tag Becky, but is denied several times before Becky decks Ronda right in the face while she is on the apron and a brawl breaks out again *Eventually Becky is tagged in and cleans house and scores some near falls before Lita is tagged back in to finish off the champs. Ronda goes to the floor and grabs a chair and hands it to Shayna and the ref is arguing with the champs to get the weapons out of their hands * While this is going on Zoey Stark & Piper Niven run down, drag Becky to the floor and attack her. Lita is distracted by the commotion which allows Ronda Rousey (who has dropped the chair) to spin her around and do a jumping knee right to Lita’s face for the 3 count. RESULT: RONDA ROUSEY & SHAYNA BASZLER WIN BY PINFALL AND RETAIN THE WWE WOMEN’S TAG TEAM TITLES After the match, Trish Stratus comes out to the entrance way and smiles as her women did their job tonight. Rousey & Shayna shrug and leave having defended their crowns. When Lita & Becky glare at the entrance, Trish bows and mouths “Thank You Trish”. Highlights from last Saturday’s Money in the Bank air, specifically focusing on Carlito in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. We then go to Byron Saxton with Carlito at the Gorilla Position. He says that on Saturday, Carlito was so close to becoming Mr. Money in the Bank, but he will not wallow in defeat. Instead, this new run remains an opportunity that he cannot pass up. Carlito will be champion in WWE once more, perhaps sooner than we think. And that…would be cool. Carlito vs Miz, a rematch from several weeks ago, is next after this time out. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns to a hype video showing Jinder Mahal back in India. The modern day Mahjarja walks through the streets of Mumbai, while receiving adulation. Jinder tells us that he will soon return to Raw and when he does, he will be bringing devastating company with him. CARLITO VS THE MIZ *Carlito slaps Miz to start the match and is a house of fire to start, but Miz is able to conceal a low blow just as the show goes to commercial *When the show comes back Miz is in control and spends most of his time cheating whenever Carlito starts a comeback. Eventually, Miz’s feet are caught on the ropes and Carlito’s comeback begins *Miz goes for the SCF, but Carlito reverses it into the Backstabber and gets the pinfall just like their previous encounter RESULT: CARLITO PINS THE MIZ After the match, Bronson Reed rushes in and attacks Carlito while he is celebrating his victory. The Miz, at first seems surprised, but soon is directing traffic. Miz holds Carlito down while Bronson climbs the ropes and nails the Tsunami Splash! Miz raises Reed’s hand in mock victory. Has a union been formed here tonight? What does Bronson Reed want with Carlito? The camera catches Cody Rhodes heading down to the ring. The American Nightmare is in action against Finn Balor, live…next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns with video taken during the break. We see Carlito being taken to the trainers room by WWE Medical while holding his ribs. He goes past The Judgment Day who are headed up the hallway toward Gorilla. They stop when Rhea is approached by…. Candace LeRae who says that Saturday in London, Rhea Ripley knows that she was barely able to get by Indi Hartwell. And had Indi had some more experience, things would’ve been different. But instead, now Rhea must deal with someone who has more….someone like Candace LeRae. Candace challenges Rhea Ripley for a match for the Women’s World Title. Rhea and Dom laugh and Rhea responds by pie-facing Candace to the floor before telling her to go tend to her “daughter”, because she’s not able to hang here on Mami Night Raw. The Judgment Day then walks away with Candace looking furious. CODY RHODES VS FINN BALOR *Epic match between two of the best wrestlers in the world. They trade near falls before Balor works on Cody’s arm *This portion of the match sees Finn use old school submission moves on Cody to hurt his arm and Cody plays the role perfectly, really selling the injured arm *When Cody stages his comeback, Damian trips Cody and it allows Finn a chance to score some near falls again with Cody kicking out each time. Eventually, Cody is able to drop Priest and then start his comeback and fight into the match *After more back and forth near falls, the finish sees Balor miss the Coup de Gras because Cody rolled out of the way and Balor is surprised as Cody kips up and nails the Cross-Rhodes. Immediately Dom and Damien rush into the ring and attack Cody and the ref rings the bell RESULT: CODY RHODES WINS BY DISQUALIFICATION After the match, Cody tries to fight off The Judgment Day who are continuing their attack. Eventually, the numbers game is too much and Rhodes is beat down until….. Brock Lesnar is here! The Beast comes down to the ring and glares at The Judgment Day who, smartly, backs away and leaves ringside. Rhea Ripley doesn’t want to go and is being almost pulled back by her crew while Brock locks eyes with her, wondering if Mami will actually attack him. Eventually, Brock circle’s his prey while WWE officials try to rush down toward the ring. Brock grabs Cody’s arm and orders everyone back and the officials step away from the ring. Brock grabs a mic and holds Cody's hair back as he tells Cody “tonight is your lucky night…I am not going to finish you just yet. So you want me one more time? Fine, Cody…let it be at SummerSlam…..but if you want me, you put that briefcase on the line. And you come at your very best, because when I take your ass to Suplex City and hold that contract once again, I want no excuses.” Brock lets go of Cody and leaves the ring having kept his word to not hurt Cody here tonight. Brock has apparently accepted the challenge of Cody Rhodes, but only if Cody puts his Money in the Bank contract on the line at SummerSlam! In the back we see a busted mirror in a locker room and the room has been torn apart. In the wreckage, Nikki Cross is sitting Indian Style with a look of contentment, before a crazed look returns. She gets up and leaves the room, heading towards the ring. Nikki Cross is in action, live…Next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and we see that during the break, Eric Bischoff has come down to try to talk to Cody as he is being helped up. Cody is looking murderous while Bischoff is screaming at Rhodes to calm down. Cody just brushes him and the rest of WWE Medical aside while going up the aisle to the back on his own two feet. NIKKI CROSS VS MAXINE DUPRI W/ALPHA ACADEMY *Poor Maxine, she knows not what she does by trying to compete in this match as Nikki Cross laughs and then attacks wildly *Maxine tries to fight off Cross, but soon she is thrown into a corner where Nikki just strikes and slaps in brutal succession, completely manic *When the ref orders Cross out of the Corner, Maxine tries a clothesline, but that just angers Nikki who grabs her by the hair and then plants Maxine into the mat with a brutal DDT *1…2…3. RESULT: NIKKI CROSS WINS BY PINFALL After the match, Nikki grabs a microphone and in a manic voice, says that she is tired of being overlooked and tired of trying to pretend to be normal. The only way to live in this world is with no rules and only those who are willing to go beyond the line will survive. Candace LeRae wants Rhea Ripley and the Women’s World Title……sounds like fun. Nikki wants to play too………….or Nikki will burn the world down! In the back, Matt Riddle is warming up. His shot at the World Heavyweight Title is almost near. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and a graphic shows that next week, Trish Stratus will call Lita out to the ring to address what happened Saturday night and what happened here tonight. THE VIKING RAIDERS W/VALHALLA VS LOS LOTHARIOS *Standard squash match meant to highlight Viking Raiders as a violent and strong team *During one of the few times that Los Lotharios has a chance, Angel flirts with Valhalla who is utterly repulsed *War Raiders just maul their opponents some more before hitting Fallout for the pinfall RESULT: THE VIKING RAIDERS WIN BY PINFALL The World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins is seen putting on a feather boa jacket. When Raw returns, it’s main event time. The Heavyweight Championship of the world will be on the line…..next on Monday Night Raw. COMMERCIAL BREAK MATT RIDDLE VS SETH “FREAKIN” ROLLINS *This match is a fast paced encounter to start that is truly worthy of a World Title match. Both men do high spots before the champion uses his experience to take over *But Riddle has heart and shows lots of it because no matter what strikes Rollins is able to hit Riddle with, the challenger won’t stay down *Riddle gains the advantage when Rollins goes for a Frog Splash in the ring, but Riddle rolls to the floor and Seth crashes hard into the mat. Riddle then goes back into the ring and drags Rollins out ringside and the two trade blows before a Savate Kick to the side of Rollins’ head drops the champ right onto the announce table *Riddle goes up top and leaps off with a front Somersault through Rollins and through the table. Both men are down and the ref urges both men to get up, officials even come out to help out because the ref refuses to throw a title match out *Riddle is up first and rolls Rollins into the ring, Seth immediately does a Superkick as soon as Riddle comes into the ring and covers…1….2….Riddle kicks out *Seth goes for a Curbstomp, but he is too hurt to charge and Riddle does a Back Elbow right into the Temple of the champ and nails the Bro-Derek! Is this the moment for Matt Riddle?!? *Cover….1……2……Seth Rollins barely kicks out *Riddle goes to try to do his finisher again, but Seth spins Riddle around and tries to lock in a Boston Crab on the Challenger. But the ref is bumped when Rollins is kicked by Riddle into the ref. Seth clutches at his injured side and stands up…. *Right into a running knee from the challenger. Riddle prepares for a second Bro-Derek when Imperium rushes down to the ring and attacks Riddle from behind. Before long GUNTHER is in the ring and Powerbombs Riddle twice before Imperium leaves the ring. Rollins, unaware, wakes up and puts his arm over Riddle’s chest while the ref comes to and counts 1…2…3. RESULT: SETH ‘FREAKIN’ ROLLINS WINS BY PINFALL TO RETAIN THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Seth “Freakin” Rollins retains the championship, but make no mistake Matt Riddle was just screwed by Imperium. Riddle helping out McIntyre, Zayn & Owens on Saturday has backfired in a big way. Rollins sees the replay on the Titantron and now understands what has happened. He offers an apology to Matt Riddle and his hand. Angry, Riddle almost doesn’t shake it before he ultimately does. The Original Bro then leaves the ring and goes searching for Imperium. It may not have been the way that he wanted to win this match, but Seth “Freakin” Rollins remains the Heavyweight Champion of the World!! Seth celebrates by having the crowd serenade him and raises the title high. Rollins turns to go into the center of the ring……SLINGBALADE!!!!!!!!!!!! The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor has come out of nowhere and delivered a Sling Blade onto Seth Rollins. Balor immediately leaps up to the top rope and flies off and delivers a Coup de Gras! With Seth Rollins down, Finn Balor grabs the World Heavyweight Championship in his hands and looks at it longingly before throwing it at Rollins side. Has Finn Balor just declared his intention to be the next World Heavyweight Champion? Good night from Baltimore.
  4. The World Heavyweight Championship is on the line on Monday Night Raw! Last week on Raw, Matt Riddle asked Raw Managing Director Eric Bischoff for a title opportunity this week against whomever the World Heavyweight Champion would be after Saturday's Money in the Bank. We have learned that Eric Bischoff has approved Riddle's request, and following Seth "Freakin" Rollins' defeat of Brock Lesnar, the main event for this week's Raw is set: Matt Riddle will face Seth "Freakin" Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. Who will walk out of Raw champion? Saturday night at Money in the Bank, The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes continued his story as he became Mr. Money in the Bank. Monday on Raw, Cody will kick off Raw with a message about what's next. Last week on Raw, the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler & Ronda Rousey issued an open challenge for this week. Who will step up? The Women's Tag Titles are on the line! Also, do not miss Rhea Ripley in action and "The Man" Becky Lynch addresses failing to win Money in the Bank. Don't miss Raw LIVE this Monday on USA.
  5. WWE Money in the Bank is just 24 hours away from the Sold Out O2 Arena in London, England!!! Here is the official card (for prediction purposes):
  6. WWE Raw opens with a recap montage of the Money in the Bank Qualifiers, seeing how Finn Balor, Carlito, Piper Niven, Zoey Stark & Becky Lynch all qualified for their matches. Tonight, the final men’s qualifying match will take place. Who will be the last man to get a shot at destiny in just 5 days? We’re about to find out. Welcome to Monday Night Raw. JUNE WEEK 4, 2023 EN MARKET ARENA SAVANNAH, GEORGIA Raw Managing Director Eric Bischoff is already in the ring and he is holding the Men’s Money in the Bank Briefcase. Eric says that this Saturday one man, 3 from Raw and 3 from SmackDown, will risk body and career to climb a ladder and grab this briefcase for a chance, just a fleeting moment of a chance, at immortality. As of this moment, five men have punched their ticket to London: Karion Kross, Carlito, Butch, Finn Balor, LA Knight and tonight there will be the 6th and final man. Tonight, in our main event, it will be the final men’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match. And the participants will be……Damien Priest of The Judgment Day, trying to join his partner Finn Balor, versus….. Eric Bischoff is clearly surprised to see The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes make his Raw return after being away for the last few weeks. Cody comes to the ring and apologizes to Eric for interrupting, but several weeks ago Cody Rhodes asked for another fight with Brock Lesnar and Eric turned him down. It was a bitter pill to swallow when Eric said that Cody had to get cleared by WWE Medical before another match with Brock could happen. And Cody knew that tonight Raw would be in Savannah. In Georgia. In the home of the Nightmare Family and getting cleared had to be a priority for Cody to be here tonight. And that is exactly what has happened. Cody says that he will not lie…he’s not 100%. But he can compete and he has been cleared to compete by WWE Medical and Cody Rhodes is here for a fight….TONIGHT….with Brock Lesnar. Eric looks at the paper that Cody gives him and asks Cody if he is sure that he wants to take the risk of competing again when he is not 100%? Cody confirms that he does and then Eric tells him that Cody Rhodes can return to Raw tonight!!!............. But not against Brock Lesnar. Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar is locked in for this Saturday in London. It is one of the biggest championship matches in Sports-Entertainment history and nothing will get in the way of that match from happening. So Cody vs Brock can happen, but it won’t happen tonight. What can happen though is a chance to right the wrong that happened at Wrestlemania Sunday. Cody Rhodes was screwed by The Bloodline out of completing the story and becoming champion. Since Cody Rhodes is cleared, that means he can compete tonight and quite possibly on Saturday and have a chance at redemption. So tonight, our main event will be the final men’s qualifying match for the Money in the Bank and it will now be The Judgment Day’s Damien Priest versus…………The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes!!! What an announcement! Cody Rhodes has returned and a future fight with Brock Lesnar is on the horizon, but tonight Rhodes gets a chance of a lifetime when he faces Damien Priest for the final men’s MITB spot. Don’t go anywhere, when Raw comes back the new #1 Contender for the Women’s World Title Indi Hartwell is in action…live…next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns with the announcers welcoming us to Raw and putting over our huge main event. They then take us back to two weeks ago when Indi Hartwell won a women’s battle royal to become the #1 contender to Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Championship this Saturday at Money in the Bank. INDI HARTWELL VS NATALYA WINNER BY PINFALL: INDI HARTWELL Match #1: Indi Hartwell w/Candace LeRae vs Natayla *Match used to highlight Indi *Natayla keeps it competitive just to show Indi’s skills and heart *Ripley and Dom come onto the stage to watch the finish *Finish sees Indi nail a brutal Spinebuster for a pinfall victory. After the match, Indi calls Rhea and Dominik into the ring and tells Candace to stay on the floor instead of backing Indi up. Indi says that she knows that Rhea Ripley does not take her seriously. And that is going to be the downfall of the era of “Mami”. Rhea Ripley is dangerous, Indi knows this, but Indi Hartwell is dangerous too. Indi Hartwell grew and rose up the ranks in NXT, in the very same division that Rhea once reigned supreme over. So Indi Hartwell can beat Rhea Ripley this Saturday and Indi wanted to say this to Rhea’s face ....this Saturday at Money in the Bank, Indi Hartwell WILL beat Rhea Ripley and become the Women’s World Champion. Dom doubles over laughing and Rhea joins in before Dom says “you? You think you can beat Mami?” Dom then cracks up some more before Rhea tells Indi that it is true that Indi Hartwell won the NXT Women’s Title, but let’s be honest..that place is a joke now. NXT is no longer sending the Auska’s or Charlotte Flair’s or Becky Lynch’s or the Rhea Ripley’s to Raw anymore. The fact is that when Mami left NXT, the talent in the women’s division left with her. So yeah, Indi was the champion of a lesser brand. Here on Raw, we have sharks and the biggest shark of them all is Rhea Ripley. This Saturday at Money in the Bank, Rhea Ripley is going to play with her prey and then chew her up and spit her out because this is Mami Night Raw and this division belongs to Rhea Ripley. Rhea is all arrogance and Indi looks belittled before getting in Ripley’s face. When Rhea smirks, Indi Pie Faces the champ to the match before leaving the ring and backing up the aisle. Rhea clutches her cheek with fury in her eyes. Indi Hartwell has stood up to the champ, but can she shock the world this Saturday in London? In the back, Byron Saxton is getting ready. When Raw returns, Byron will sit down with the World Heavyweight Champion, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, next. COMMERCIAL BREAK In the back, Drew McIntyre is warming up. He will be in action against Erik after this Rollins interview. Seth Rollins is with Byron Saxton in the locker room for a sit-down interview just days before he defends the World Title against Brock Lesnar on Saturday. Byron brings up the mind games of Lesnar last week and the attacks that have been going on. Byron brings up how Brock has broken the arm of Cody Rhodes recently and also the fact that this is not the first time that Seth has clashed with the Beast. With all of that in mind, how is Seth preparing for a fight with Lesnar this Saturday? Seth says that all of what Byron Saxton has said is true: Brock Lesnar is an animal and Seth has had the unfortunate experience of facing Brock Lesnar. In fact he has had that experience on more than one occasion including at the Grandest Stage of them All, Wrestlemania. And you know what? Brock Lesnar *ALWAYS* loses to Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Whether it has been at Wrestlemania or at SummerSlam a year and a half later, the fact remains…Seth Rollins is the Beast Slayer. Seth Rollins knows how strong Brock Lesnar is. And he knows how dangerous Brock Lesnar is. Seth is going to walk into London this Saturday and the truth is, he’s going to get his ass kicked. But that’s ok. To survive a war with the Beast Incarnate, you have to be willing to get beaten up and bruised and that is exactly what Seth “Freakin” Rollins is willing to do this Saturday. It does not matter how many mind games Brock Lesnar tries to play, or how many suplexes Rollins will have to endure, Seth “Freakin” Rollins is walking into Suplex City this Saturday and he is going to burn it down to the damned ground! DREW MCINTYRE VS ERIK *Physical match between two men that can brawl and wrestle. *Erik throws some massive body blows into Drew while Ivar watches. *Drew stages his comeback when Ivar tries to interfere and it backfires sending Erik into his partner. *Eventually Drew nails a Claymore for the 3 count. WINNER BY PINFALL: DREW MCINTYRE As soon as the match ends, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci rush to the ring as does the Intercontinental Champion, GUNTHER. Imperium starts attacking Drew who goads everyone into the ring and then suddenly smiles. From under the ring, the Unified Tag Team Champions appear and they have chairs. They throw a chair at Drew and then surround Imperium. GUNTHER gives the order to attack and KO/Sami/Drew start smashing everyone with chairs. After a few minutes, GUNTHER bails and calls his men out of the ring. Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have owned the ring tonight. Can the Tag Champs beat their challengers and will Drew McIntyre end GUNTHER’s reign as Intercontinental Champion? Find out this Saturday at Money in the Bank! A highlight video of some of the history of the Men’s Money in the Bank plays. Included are some of the great cash in’s in history as well as the insane falls that happen during the match. The video then focuses on how each of the 5 men have qualified. Still to come, the sixth man to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match will be decided when Cody Rhodes faces Damien Priest in the main event of Raw. COMMERCIAL BREAK BRONSON REED VS MACE *Complete squash match meant to put over Reed *The Tsunami Splash makes this academic. WINNER BY PINFALL: BRONSON REED In the back, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler say that they have been ignored too long. Ever since becoming WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, they have not had a title defense on Raw. So next week, that’s going to change. The champs are calling out any two women who are brave enough to step up and get their ass kicked. The Man Becky Lynch is coming to the ring. When Raw comes back, Lynch is in action against Nikki Cross, LIVE next! COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns from commercial break and we see Matt Riddle backstage in Eric Bischoff’s office. Riddle says that last week he hung with the champ and nearly pinned Rollins and Eric said that the Original Bro should have a World Heavyweight Title opportunity. So Riddle is challenging the World Champion, whomever he may be, to put the title on the line next Monday on Raw. Eric says that he will take that under advisement, but let's see who walks out as World Heavyweight Champion first before making matches. Eric tells Matt that he appreciates the determination of Riddle. Perhaps, there is more to Matt Riddle than the surfer boy act afterall. BECKY LYNCH VS NIKKI CROSS *Nikki looks better than she has in a long time as Becky really puts over Nikki Cross *Becky starts the match hot, before Nikki takes over and dominates through a commercial break *Returning from commercial, Becky goes for a Becks-Ploder but Nikki hooks it into a DDT for a two count. Nikki goes for a piledriver, but Becky is able to backdrop Nikki to the floor and Cross hits her shoulder on the apron as she crashes. *Seeing her chance, Becky goes to the floor and rolls Cross in and then locks in the Dis-Arm-Her. Cross is surviving longer than anticipated and then the camera zooms in on her face…..wait…is Nikki Cross laughing? *Nikki cross is laughing from the pain of Becky’s armlock before and will not submit. Instead, Nikki passes out and Becky Lynch is awarded the victory. WINNER BY STOPPAGE: BECKY LYNCH Becky Lynch calls Nikki a “proper nutter” as she grabs the microphone and laughs at the idea that Trish Stratus has a little insurance policy. So Piper Niven and Zoey Stark are going to ensure that The Man does not climb the ladder this Saturday, eh? Trish’s henchwomen are going to try to screw The Man? Becky’s answer: bring it on! The Man has had to deal with adversity after adversity in her life and in this company en route to becoming THE face of Monday Night Raw’s women’s division. And Saturday will be nothing new. It’s more of the same, so Trish can send Zoey, she can send Piper Niven, hell she can send the Queen’s Guards….all that be for nothing because The Man will walk through hell and back to become Mrs. Money in the Bank and once more be World Champion. The day is coming when Trish will have to pay for her games, but this Saturday is all about business for Becky Lynch. Five nights from now, Becky will climb that ladder, she will grab that briefcase and she will become the new Women’s Money in the Bank winner. And there is not a damned thing that Trish Stratus can do to stop her. Vic Joseph and Corey Graves come onto camera as they run through the final Raw card for WWE Money in the Bank from London this Saturday: WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Brock Lesnar vs World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Indi Hartwell vs Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley w/Dominik Mysterio MEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH Raw participants: Finn Balor, Carlito & either Cody Rhodes or Damien Priest WOMEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH Raw participants: Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark & Piper Niven INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Drew McIntyre vs Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER UNIFIED WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser & Giovani Vinnci) vs Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn WWE Money in the Bank will originate LIVE this Saturday at 3pm eastern from the sold out 02 Arena in London, England and exclusively on Peacock. In the back we see Cody Rhodes warming up, a brace on his arm while The Judgment Day is hyping up Damien Priest. Who will be the final man in the Men’s MITB ladder match? Find out…next. COMMERCIAL BREAK QUALIFIER DAMIAN PRIEST VS CODY RHODES *An epic Raw main event where both men are presented as big time stars *Cody gets the upper hand early and is clearly feeding off of the crowd as he has Damian on the ropes until a Dominik Mysterio distraction turns the tide *Damian then starts dominating Cody, but Rhodes does the babyface who will not die routine and keeps kicking out of pinfalls *When Cody starts mounting a come-back, Dom trips Cody and this brings Rhodes to the floor. Dom runs behind Mami who challenges Rhodes to fight her. Rhodes doesn’t and turns around right into a Slingblade on the floor from Finn Balor. The ref does not see it due to Dom’s distraction on the apron *Eventually Damian sets up for a Reverse Outsider’s Edge, but Rhodes is able to drop down and push Damian who falls into the ref *Dom immediately attacks but Cody lifts him up and throws Dom right into the arms of Ripley on the floor, who catches him. Balor slides in and charges, but Cody backdrops Finn over the ropes and he collides into Ripley, sending all of the remaining Judgment Day members to the floor *Damian tries to nail Cody as he turns around, but Rhodes ducks…..CROSS RHODES!!! Cody lifts Damien up again and nails the Cross Rhodes one more time *1…..2…..3 WINNER BY PINFALL AND THE FINAL QUALIFIER FOR THE MEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK : CODY RHODES Cody Rhodes has done it!!!! With practically one arm and fighting off The Judgment Day, the American Nightmare has grabbed the final spot in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match this Saturday in London. The crowd comes alive as Cody Rhodes celebrates in front of family and friends. The story is not yet over! Cody Rhodes will have a chance at redemption this Sa…. Oh My God Lesnar is here!!! Brock Lesnar appears on the stage and has murder in his eyes. It is clear that the Beast is here to ruin Cody’s moment and make sure that he cannot make it to London this Saturday. Damien Priest slides in and nails Cody from behind, leaving Rhodes down and prone. The Judgment Day stand aside and watch as Lesnar slowly makes his way down to the ring, stalking an exhausted Rhodes. Just as Brock gets up onto the apron, the crowd comes alive as the Heavyweight Champion of the World, Seth “Freakin” Rollins runs down to the ring. Quick as lightning, Rollins is in the ring and has his title belt up, poised to strike as a weapon. Lesnar looks like he is going to attack, but thinks better of it. The Beast backs down and goes up the ramp, looking furious at Rollins’ ruining his plans. Vic Joseph: Brock Lesnar has a date with destiny on Saturday, but it is clear that he just tried to take Cody Rhodes out again. This rivalry is still far from over. Seth Rollins just saved Cody Rhodes from being on the shelf again! Corey Graves: But at what cost? Seth “Freakin” Rollins may have just made things worse for himself this Saturday at Money in the Bank. Rollins just ruined Brock’s plan tonight. The Beast Incarnate is furious and he’s going to take it out on the champ. Will Seth Rollins even survive London? Don’t miss this one!
  7. Scheduling change: due to the holiday, Raw will be delayed until Wednesday at the latest.
  8. The women's Money in the Bank Qualifiers were set last week on Raw when The Man Becky Lynch defeated Shayna Baszler. This week, it's the men's turn for the final men's Money in the Bank Qualifying match. Raw Managing Director, Eric Bischoff will kick off Raw to announce who the final two men will be to compete for a chance to become Mr. Money in the Bank next Saturday in London. Who will be the final man to qualify? Find out this week on Raw. Don't miss Raw LIVE this Monday on USA.
  9. JUNE WEEK 3, 2023 INTRUST BANK ARENA WICHITA, KANSAS WWE Raw opens without a recap video and instead goes into the arena where the World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins already in the ring basking in the cheers of the crowd and doing a little dance. He does a promo that is his usual mocking style with lots of “haha’s” at the idea of the so-called “Beast” not being man enough to confront the champ face to face. Seth then laughs at the idea of Brock being able beat Seth because at Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins is going to make the Beast his bitch. Seth then gets serious and says why wait..let's just do the damned thing right now. Seth “Freakin Rollins” is calling Brock Lesnar out!!! Instead of the Beast, we get the Managing Director Eric Bischoff who comes to the stage and into the ring. He tells Seth that he understands that Rollins wants revenge after Lesnar’s attack last week. But Bischoff has ordered Brock to not be here tonight and if he were to show up, Brock will lose his World Heavyweight Title opportunity at Money in the Bank. So…no, that match and that fight will not happen tonight. It will have to wait until London. Seth is pissed, but before he can react….. Matt Riddle comes out to the ring and says that since Brock Lesnar is not here and since Seth Rollins clearly wants to defend his title tonight, why not make his first title defense against the Original Bro? Seth responds saying that he wants a fight and since it’s not going to be Lesnar, if Riddle wants it…Seth accepts. And then Bischoff chimes in and says that actually, that will not be the case. While Eric respects that Seth is a fighting champion and wants to defend the title, the first title defense needs to be big. Eric says that after Money in the Bank, if Seth wants to defend this title every week, should he prevail against Lesnar, that’s fine. And Matt Riddle vs Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the World Title *IS* a big match and it can be a big match one day….just not today. Eric has a responsibility to the fans of Raw, to the WWE Board, to Triple H and to our partners at Peacock and Wembley Arena to deliver the title match that has been signed and advertised. And that match is Seth Rollins’ first title defense…against Brock Lesnar. So, Rollins and Riddle - if you want to fight tonight, you can…but the title will not be on the line. Seth is pissed and says that this is bullshit, but asks Riddle if he still wants to go, Riddle says he's ready for a match. The two sides agree and Eric makes it official. In our main event, Matt Riddle will face Seth “Freakin” Rollins in a non-title match. Stay tuned, Raw will be back right after this. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns with a recap of last week where Dominik Mysterio challenged Shinsuke Nakamura to a match here tonight. DOMINIK MYSTERIO VS SHINSUKE NAKAMURA *Dom does the cowardly heel move of making Shinsuke chase him, but Shin grows wise to it and won’t go to the floor where The Judgment Day is lurking. *Dom is forced to be in this match and he’s quickly outclassed by Shin for most of the match. *Dom gets some hope spots and even drops Nakamura with a Brainbuster similar to Eddie Guerrero. Dom celebrates like he won the title with that move until Priest yells go for the Frog Splash. The delay gives Shin time to leap to the top and catch Dom with a Superplex, taking control once more. *The finish sees Finn distract the ref after a Kinshasa and Mami slide in and does the Riptide onto Shinsuke and then place the unconscious Dom on Shin for the pinfall. WINNER BY PINFALL: DOMINIK MYSTERIO After the match, Rhea says “welcome to Mami Night Raw” and as Dom Dom said a few weeks ago, what Mami wants, Mami gets. Tonight, Mami wanted her man to beat Shinsuke all on his own and he did just that. It was so incredible and so sexy to see. And in less than two weeks, what Mami wants is to retain this Women’s World Champion against Little Indi. And frankly that will be quite easy, and after that match is done and after Finn Balor climbs that ladder of success and becomes Mr. Money in the Bank…The Judgment Day will throw a party unlike anything London has ever seen. Because The Judgment Day runs Monday Night Raw and at Money in the Bank, The Judgment Day will own the entire United Kingdom. Balor and Priest then lift Dom up on their shoulders and Rhea has him lean down and she kisses him with pride. The Judgment Day may just make good on their promise to dominate in London. In the back, Carlito is seen shining up an apple. The personification of Cool, fresh off of qualifying for Money in the Bank, will be in action against Angel Garza live next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and the announcers remind us that still to come is Becky Lynch vs Shayna Baszler for the last qualification match in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. And that next week, just 5 days before Money in the Bank, the final men’s qualification match will take place. Eric Bischoff will announce the participants when he kicks off Raw next week on USA. CARLITO VS ANGEL GARZA *The story of this match is basically about Carlito’s return to WWE and highlighting his skills. *Garza is able to get a couple aerial moves in and some offense, but soon falls victim to the Backstabber. *1..2..3. WINNER BY PINFALL: CARLITO After the match, Byron Saxton enters the ring to interview Carlito and ask him how it feels to be back on Raw on a full time basis and how it will feel to become Mr. Money in the Bank? Carlito says that the easy answer is “cool”. That would be on brand for him. But the truth is that Carlito is the son of the Hall of Famer, Carlos Colon. Carlito grew up with expectations and perhaps too much came to Carlito too fast and far before he was ready. Carlito had it all, money, women, fame, a career that was rising..and then he lost it all. And he lost it because of youth and arrogance and it took a long time for Carlito to get over the bitterness and look in the mirror and see that Carly Colon messed up. Carly was not, in fact, cool. It took years but slowly Carly rebuilt his life and found Carlito again. That night in Puerto Rico a few weeks ago was redemption for Carly back into who he is. And now, Carlito is determined, he is full of passion and he is ready. It doesn’t matter who that last man is next week or who SmackDown sends, this is Carlito’s moment and he will not waste it. This second chance will be maximized, Carlito will become Mr. Money in the Bank and he will become future World Heavyweight Champion. Bank on that…because that’s….cool. In the back we see Becky Lynch warming up. When Raw returns, she will take on Shayna Baszler, live..next. COMMERCIAL BREAK There is a disturbance in the audience as the crowd catches Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark making their way to the ring. They take a front row seat as the final Women’s MITB Qualifying match is about to begin. QUALIFIER BECKY LYNCH VS SHAYNA BASZLER *Becky does the babyface in peril routine for the first portion of the match *Shayna gets overconfident and runs into Becky on the floor and Becks sidesteps her and runs her shoulder into a post *After some arm work, Becky goes for the Dis-Arm-Her, but Shayna reverses it into the Kirifuda Clutch. Becky drags Shayna to the corner before she can be taken down and puts her foot on the turnbuckle and pushes backwards. *Becky is able to roll Shayna up in a package and is glaring at Trish as the pinfall is counted. WINNER BY PINFALL AND THE FINAL RAW QUALIFIER FOR THE WOMEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH: BECKY LYNCH After the match, Trish and Zoey hop the guard rail and Becky is ready for a fight. What she doesn’t see is……. Piper Niven slides in from the other side and attacks Becky from behind. Quickly, Trish and Zoey are in the ring and on the attack wailing away at The Man with punches and kicks. Becky tries to fight off the attack, but Piper splashes Becky in the corner and then Zoey and Trish hold her down while Piper climbs to the 2nd rope and does a Vader Bomb. Trish grabs a mic and says that she warned Becky Lynch that if Becky refused her, Trish would end Becks career *snaps* just like that. Say hello to Trish’s Weapon of Mass Destruction…Piper Niven. And would you look at that? The other two women that have qualified for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match work for Trish. Becky has two choices now. Either drop out of this match and walk away or at Money in the Bank Trish’s weapons will end the career of The Man and then one of them will grab that briefcase and hand it to the next Women’s World Champion…Trish Stratus. You’re welcome. In the back, Drew McIntyre is warming up when GUNTHER and the rest of Imperium walk up. They mock how inspiring it is that Drew decided to return last week, so how about a little match after this commercial break? How about, all of Imperium against Drew McIntyre…if he can find partners in about four minutes that is. That is when out of frame, the WWE Unified World Tag Team Champions, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn step into the frame. Drew looks smug and says “already have them and we accept.” Apparently a match is made…Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn against Imperium….next!!! COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns to a pre tape showing Indi Hartwell winning last week and superimposing her success in NXT, including capturing the NXT Women’s Title. Through it all, Indi talks about how it may seem like she’s come out of nowhere to become the #1 contender to Rhea Ripley, but she hasn’t. Indi has worked her whole life, struggled and fought and is ready for this chance at Money in the Bank. And next week, if Rhea has any guts…Indi Hartwell will prove it to her. IMPERIUM VS DREW MCINTYRE, KEVIN OWENS, AND SAMI ZAYN *Starts out as a regular six man match before devolving into a brawl *After a commercial break, the ref regains order in the match and then the match is Imperium really working on Sami. Old school, getting tons of babyface pop for Sami. *Sami makes the hot tag to Drew who wants GUNTHER but gets Ludwig and Drew shines, really taking over the two Imperium lackeys. This continues until Gunther nails Drew from behind with a chop to the back of the neck. *Finally after some more cheating, the champs attack and it’s a wild brawl again until the ref throws the match out. RESULT: DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION Following the conclusion of the match, all six guys break out into a brawl that takes over the floor around ringside and sends the announcers hopping the guardrail into the stands for their own protection. Eric Bischoff appears on the stage and is directing referees and officials who are rushing to the ring to break up the mele. When that is not enough, Eric orders wrestlers to come running out and soon, the two sides are separated. Eric says enough of this. If these three men want to go to war, they can damn well do it, but it will be at Money in the Bank. So here is what we’re gonna do. Vinci & Kaiser will take on Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens for the Unified World Tag Team Titles and McIntyre…he gets GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Title. Now break this up! What an announcement. We now have an IC title match and the Tag Titles will be on the line all at Money in the Bank. We get a splitscreen of Seth “Freakin” Rollins and Matt Riddle walking down to the Gorilla position. When Raw comes back, our main event will be next…don’t go anywhere. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and we are reminded that next week, Managing Director Eric Bischoff will kick off Raw to announce the final two participants in the Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match which will main event Raw. We are also told that Rhea Ripley has accepted Indi Hartwell’s challenge and will speak to Indi face-to-face next week on Raw. And the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Shayna Baszler & Ronda Rousey will be on Raw. NON-TITLE MATCH MATT RIDDLE VS SETH “FREAKIN” ROLLINS *This match has an equal amount of offense for a large portion of the match. Really back and forth. *Matt Riddle is allowed to shine and has several close near falls. And after some back and forth, Riddle starts to take Seth apart with lightning quick kicks. *An almost-finish where Riddle nails the Bro Derek but Rollins kicks out at the last second happens. *Finish sees Riddle go for a RKO in tribute to Raaaandyyy, but Rollins turns around and does a German Suplex into the Curbstomp for the pinfall. WINNER BY PINFALL: SETH “FREAKIN” ROLLINS After the pinfall, Matt Riddle comes to the champ and shakes his hand. And grabs a mic. The Original Bro wishes Seth luck at Money in the Bank and will be rooting for the champ to retain…and when he does, Riddle wants a shot. Rollins promises him that he will get his shot. Now the moment is all about the World Heavyweight Champion. Seth “Freakin” Rollins must now turn his sights to the biggest challenge of his career at Money in the Bank. Seth soaks in the cro….. BROCK LESNAR IS HERE?!?!?! Seth looks to the entrance and is ready for a fight. When Brock does not come out, Seth then begins to look around the ringside area. No sign of the Beast. Seth scans up into the crowd when suddenly Brock’s music ends. Rollins looks unsettled as Lesnar is clearly playing mind games. Brock Lesnar is not here, but he will be in less than two weeks. Seth “Freakin” Rollins has a date with destiny at Money in the Bank. Who will walk out of London the Heavyweight Champion of the World? Goodnight from Kansas.
  10. The Women's Money in the Bank Qualifiers for Raw will be set this Monday on Raw. Already qualified is Zoe Stark and Piper Niven. The Man Becky Lynch will take on WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Shayna Baszler in the final qualifier. Which superstar will earn her chance at becoming Ms. Money in the Bank? Also, World Heavyweight Champion Seth "Freakin" Rollins put a tweet out this week following the sneak attack last week by Brock Lesnar. The champ is calling The Beast out for Raw. Will Brock answer the call? Last week, Indi Hartwell won a Battle Royal to be crowned the #1 contender for the Women's World Champion. The new #1 Contender will be in action against Nikki Cross on Raw. Finally, Mami's Dom Dom has challeneged rockstar, Shinsuke Nakamura this Monday on Raw. Who will prevail? Don't miss Raw LIVE this Monday on USA.
  11. WWE Raw opens with a recap montage of last week on Raw where Eric Bischoff was announced as the new Managing Director, Cody Rhodes wanted Brock Lesnar again before being denied, Trish Stratus gave Becky Lynch an ultimatum and the World Heavyweight Champion’s celebration was interrupted by…Brock Lesnar. JUNE WEEK 2, 2023 XL CENTER HARTFORD CONNECTICUT The Man Becky Lynch comes down to the ring to kick off Raw. She is in the ring and has a microphone and says that the last 9 days have been a real eye opener for The Man. The truth is that Becky went into that match at Night of Champions with Trish expecting a win. And as much as it pains Becky to admit this…Trish Stratus did outsmart The Man in Saudi Arabia. No excuses, Trish won and Becky lost. So, what’s next? Apparently The Man has come around to Hartford and has to make a decision tonight. A decision on whether to choose to side with Trish and Zoey Stark or to continue to walk alone and risk having her career ended. Tough choice to make and Becky admits that she has spent every day of the last week thinking about it and has made up her mind…so Trish…come on out please. Trish Stratus comes out with Zoey Stark in her shadow and walks down to the ring. Becky puts over Trish’s long career and admits that Trish Stratus deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. The truth is that none of the women today in WWE would be here without Trish. And for that… Trish does deserved….to be thanked. And this decision is fairly easy…Thank You Trish! The crowd boos as Becky offers her hand to Trish who is hesitant at first to shake it, but eventually does. Becky Lynch has sided with Trish Stratus!!!! Trish and Zoey pat Becky on the back and Trish plays to the crowd. With her back to Becky, Stratus never sees Becky grab Zoey by the hair and launch her over the ropes. When Trish turns around, Becky is standing there looking at Trish and then flips her off. Realizing that she has been set up, Trish charges Becky…right into a CHICK KICK. Becky locks in the Dis-Arm-Her on Trish who is screaming until Zoey Stark recovers and gets in the ring to attack Becky. Becky rolls out of the ring and up the aisle. The Man has turned Trish down and there will surely be hell to pay. But stick around, when we come back, Zoey Stark makes her Raw debut when she competes in a Money in the Bank Qualifier match after this time out. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns to Corey Graves introducing the new voice of Monday Night Raw, Vic Joseph. Vic says that he is excited to be here with Corey Graves, but this show is not about the announcers…it’s about the competitors and we have a match to get to right now. QUALIFIER NATALYA VS ZOEY STARK Zoey is schooled early by Natayla but Trish is able to distract Hart and soon Zoey Stark dominates. The match is over once Zoey nails Z-360 driving her knee right into Nattie’s face for the 1..2…3. WINNER BY PINFALL AND A QUALIFIER FOR THE WOMEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK:: ZOEY STARK After the match, Trish gets in the ring and her and Zoey start laying out Nattie until Becky Lynch comes running back out and this time the heels bail from the ring. Zoey Stark has qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, but clearly the war between Trish and Becky is anything but over. The camera pans to the back and the World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freaking” Rollins is walking up to the office door of the Managing Director Eric Bischoff. What does the champ have to say to the new boss about Brock Lesnar? COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns in the office of Eric Bischoff. The World Heavyweight Champion walks in and demands to know what the hell was that last week with Brock Lesnar? Seth says that last week Brock comes out and just circles the champ and then doesn’t do anything. What is with that? Eric says that he has no idea. He does not know why Brock Lesnar was there last week, Brock has not told him and Brock is not here tonight. So, Eric does not have answers for Seth tonight. Seth says that is fine, instead Seth “Freaking” Rollins will make the answers for Brock. Seth Rollins is challenging Brock Lesnar to be his first World Heavyweight Championship defense at Money in the Bank! Eric says that Seth wants Brock. Cody Rhodes wants Brock. Who else is going to want Brock next? Gunther? But Eric has to admit..Seth “Freaking” Rollins defending his World Heavyweight Championship against The Beast Incarnate at Money in the Bank in London is a hell of a match. But, Brock Lesnar must accept and until Eric can speak with him, that challenge is just that….a challenge. Seth exits the locker room but before he does, he calls Brock Lesnar a bitch. Either way a challenge has been made from the World Champion for The Beast. Will Lesnar accept? BRONSON REED VS APOLLO CREWS Like last week, this match is largely about showing Bronson Reed as a monster. Apollo gets some hope spots, including neatly Bodyslamming Reed, but Crews’ back crumbles and before long, Reed is squashing him with the Tsunami for the 3 count. WINNER BY PINFALL: BRONSON REED In the back, we see the World Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, giving Dominik Mysterio a piggyback ride as they come down the hall. When Raw comes back, Mami and Dom Dom will be at ringside as a Woman’s Battle Royal will take place to crown the new #1 contender for the Women’s World Title, next on Raw. COMMERCIAL BREAK NUMBER ONE CONTENDER BATTLE ROYAL Pretty typical Battle Royal with 10 of Raw’s women competitors all trying to earn a championship match with Rhea Ripley. Ripley and Dom are eating popcorn at ringside watching all of it going down. The final four are Nikki Cross, Candace LeRae, Valhalla and Indi Hartwell. The finish sees Nikki & Valhalla double teaming Candace until Indi comes over and throws Nikki out. Candace and Indi double team Valhalla and soon send her out and immediately after, Indi dumps Candace to the floor to win the match and earn the title shot at Money in the Bank. WINNER AND NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER: INDI HARTWELL Candice LeRae is stunned that her “daughter” Indi has won this battle royal, but she gets in the ring and hugs the new #1 contender. Rhea gets up from her seat and enters the ring and goes nose to nose with Indi. To her credit, the challenger and former NXT Women’s Champion doesn’t back down which earns a smirk from Mami who decides to leave the ring and head up the aisle with Dom. Indi Hartwell will get the opportunity of a lifetime when she challenges Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at Money in the Bank!! In the back, Managing Director Eric Bischoff is heading to the ring. When we return, The Miz will compete in a Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifying match against someone unknown to him as Eric Bischoff has promised a surprise. Who is this surprise competitor? Find out…next COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns with a promo video for The King of Bros, Matt Riddle who will be on Raw again soon. The Miz is in the ring when Eric Bischoff comes out. Eric says that Eric Bischoff’s Raw is where everyone wants to be and that includes new stars like Indi Hartwell and established brands who are back on Raw for one more run. And that’s….cool. Introducing the latest member of the Raw roster and The Miz’s opponent on this Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifier Match…….. Carlito comes out to a big pop while The Miz is stunned. But he doesn’t have time to sulk, the match is now. QUALIFIER CARLITO VS THE MIZ It takes a few mins for The Miz to get over the shock of being in a match with Carlito, but he recovers eventually and the two have a main event level quality battle that spans two commercial breaks. They fight on the floor a little bit, but the match is basically in the ring. After some near falls, the finish sees Miz try to get the SCF on Carlito, but Carlito reverses it and gets behind Miz for the Backstabber!! Carlito covers…1…2…3. WINNER BY PINFALL AND A QUALIFIER FOR THE MEN'S MONEY IN THE BANK: CARLITO The Miz is stunned as Carlito quickly gets out of the ring and goes up the aisle to celebrate. Carlito has returned to Raw and he now has the chance to become Mr. Money in the Bank!!!! In the back Xavier Woods & Shinsuke Nakamura are warming up. They will team up together against Damien Priest & Money in the Bank competitor Finn Balor, next on Raw. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns to a video highlighting the trials and tribulations of Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar. The video focuses on Cody Rhodes being told that his arm is broken and he cannot fight Brock anytime soon. When will Cody Rhodes return to Monday Night Raw? XAVIER WOODS AND SHINSUKE NAKAMURA VS DAMIEN PRIEST AND FINN BALOR Back and forth tag team action is the name of the game in this match. Xavier and Finn go at it fast early before Damien comes in and starts slowing things down. Priest works on Shinsuke who plays the babyface in peril role to perfection. Eventually when Damien tags in Finn, Shinsuke is able to nail KinShasha but can’t make the cover and instead has to crawl to Xavier for the tag. Xavier comes into the ring and works on Finn until he bounces off the ropes directly into a shot to the back of the head by Priest. This brings Shin back in and we have a brawl and in the chaos, Dominik runs down with the Women’s World Title and hands it to Finn who blasts Xavier in the head with it while the ref never sees it. Finn throws the belt to the floor and covers…1….2….3. WINNERS BY PINFALL: DAMIEN PRIEST AND FINN BALOR After the match, Dominik Mysterio grabs a mic and says that he can beat either of these two losers and challenges Shinsuke to a match next week on Raw. Shinsuke laughs before nodding. The Judgment Day leaves ringside with their hands up in the air. Next week on Raw, Dom Dom is in action against Shinsuke Nakamura!!! Byron Saxton is with the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn at the Gorilla Position. They say that last week, Imperium left the champs beaten and bruised. That will not be their fate tonight. Tonight, Sami Zayn becomes the Intercontinental Champion when he defeats GUNTHER and KO will have his back. The main event is next! COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns with a graphic promising that next week on Raw, it will be Becky Lynch against Shayna Baszler in the final Women’s Qualifier for Money in the Bank. And in two weeks, the final men’s qualifier will happen just a few days from Money in the Bank in London! SAMI ZAYN VS GUNTHER © As expected, GUNTHER destroys Sami for a lot of this match with Sami’s chest being beet red quickly in this encounter. But Sami’s heart is on full display because he simply will not allow himself to be defeated! Kick out after kick out begins to eventually frustrate the champion and that gives Sami his opportunity. Zayn is even able to dump the champ on his head with a Taz-Plex for a near fall. Imperium try to interfere, but Owens is protecting his buddy and holding off GUNTHER’S crew as Sami does kick after kick and quick strike after quick strike and has the crowd going wild in anticipation of the upset. When GUNTHER charges Sami in the corner, Zayn is able to get out of the way, send the champ into another corner and nail the Helluva Kick!! Is Sami gonna do it?!?!? He covers….1….2….GUNTHER KICKS OUT. Sami cannot believe it, KO yells “again” so Sami sets up the champ for the Helluva Kick once more but when he charges, GUNTHER does a brutal chop to Sami’s leg. Zayn instantly drops in pain and while down, the champ does chop after chop to Sami’s body just brutalizing Zayn with his bare hands. Before long, GUNTHER nails The Last Symphony and Zayn, battered and bruised, cannot kick out of the pin. WINNER BY PINFALL AND STILL WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION: GUNTHER After the match, GUNTHER continues his beat down on Sami which draws KO back into the ring and he fights the IC Champ off until Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser attack KO from behind. Like last week, suddenly it is a 3 on 2 beat down until…. DREW MCINTYRE IS HERE!!! The former WWE Champion comes running down the ring and attacks Imperium immediately. McIntyre throws Vinci out of the ring and does a running boot to Kaiser. Before long it is Drew and GUNTHER staring each other down until Owens and Zayn recover and join McIntyre’s side. Imperium takes that cue to leave the ring. Drew McIntyre has returned to Raw and helped even the odds in the ongoing saga between the Tag Team Champions and Imperium. What does this mean going forward? Just as Raw is about to go off the air, we see World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freaking” Rollins leaving the arena. As soon as the champ makes it to the parking lot, out of nowhere he is launched into a car. The camera pans back to reveal Brock Lesnar is in fact here!!! Lesnar pummels Seth on the ground before launching Rollins onto a car hood. Brock climbs the car and lifts the champion up and F5’s him right onto a windshield…cracking it in the process. Eric Bischoff comes running out with a horde of officials to check on the champion, but before they get there, Brock looks down at Seth and says “Your challenge is accepted”. Seth “Freaking” Rollins has been decimated by the Beast Brock Lesnar. And the challenge has been accepted. How the hell can the World Heavyweight Champion stop this monster at Money in the Bank?
  12. The conclusion of last week's Raw saw new World Heavyweight Champion, Seth "Freakin" Rollins, lead a marching band to the ring for an elaborate celebration of his championship crowning. Instead, The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar made an appearance, but strangely did not attack the champion. What does Brock Lesnar want with Seth Rollins? Will the Beast be on Raw? Also, last week the Money in the Bank Qualifiers began and Finn Balor as well as Piper Niven have both qualified. This week, new Managing Director Eric Bischoff has announced that two more qualifiers will take place, one for the men's match and one for the women. Who will join the Money in the Bank matches? Finally, last week on Raw, Imperium laid out the Unified Tag Team Champions. This week on Raw the champs hope to get a measure of revenge when Sami Zayn takes on the Intercontinental Champion, GUNTHER! Don't miss Raw LIVE this Monday on USA.
  13. Thank you! We're both excited about it and that comment is something we both talked about. And its why we went back to what we know and love and that's WWE. It's like returning home.
  14. WWE Raw opens up to a shot of the parking lot where WWE Official, Adam Pearce is walking into the arena. He is on his phone when he sees someone waiting for him. Pearce ends the call and the camera pans to see Cody Rhodes meeting Pearce as he arrives. Rhodes' left arm is in a cast and a sling. Cody tells Adam that Saturday at Night of Champions, Cody Rhodes did not tap out. The referee decided to end the match against Brock Lesnar, but Cody Rhodes never surrendered. Cody demands a rematch with Lesnar and he wants it tonight. Pearce tells Cody that he understands, but Adam Pearce is no longer in a position to make that call for Raw. Adam tells Cody that he just left Triple H at a meeting at the hotel where he was informed that Triple H has hired a new Managing Director for Monday Night Raw. That Managing Director will be here within the hour and that person is who Cody should talk to about any future match with Brock Lesnar. Pearce pats Cody on the right shoulder and walks into the arena. Raw has a new boss? What does this mean for the superstars of Monday Night Raw? JUNE WEEK 1, 2023 MVP ARENA ALBANY, NEW YORK Kevin Patrick & Corey Graves welcome us to Monday Night Raw and put over what we just heard. We have a new boss and that person will be arriving here to Raw within the hour! And Cody Rhodes wants Brock Lesnar here tonight, but he is obviously hurt. Will Cody get his wish and his match? Tonight, there will be two Money in the Bank Qualifying matches where Piper Niven will take on Raquel Rodriguez and in our featured match, Finn Balor of The Judgment Day will take on Ricochet. And we have a new World Heavyweight Champion in Seth “Freaking” Rollins, the new champ will be here on Raw later tonight. But let’s kick things off with The Judgment Day vs Alpha Academy. ALPHA ACADEMY VS DAMIEN PRIEST AND DOMINIK MYSTERIO For Alpha Academy, the highlight of this match is Ortis and he really dominates an early portion of the match, but every time that AA gets an advantage over TJD, Rhea Ripley makes herself the equalizer. After running foot directly to Otis’ face that sends the heavyweight to the floor, Chad Gable is left alone. He tries to fight with some heart, but he’s out matched. And before long Damien Priest drops Gable with a powerbomb and then tags in Dom who does the Frog Splash for the pinfall. WINNERS: DAMIEN PRIEST AND DOMINIK MYSTERIO After the match, the Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley enters the ring and blasts Gable with a vicious clothesline. She then throws Otis to the floor, showing Mami’s dominance. Rhea grabs a microphone and says that it does not matter who Triple H has hired as the Managing Director of Raw, The Judgment Day runs this place. And tonight, Finn will defeat Ricochet and go become Mr. Money in the Bank and soon, The Judgment Day will own all the gold. Dominik grabs the mic and says “yeah, because what Mami wants…Mami always gets.” We go to the back and see WWE Tag Team Champion, Kevin Owens walking down the aisle with his partner Sami Zayn. When we come back, KO is in action against Ludwig Kaiser next on Raw. COMMERCIAL BREAK LUDEWIG KAISER VS KEVIN OWENS Owens and Kaiser have a fast paced match that splits between being a brawl and a scientific encounter. It goes through a commercial break and it spans multiple near falls. Giovanni Vinci keeps trying to interfere, but Sami blocks his path. After Kaiser misses with a top rope maneuver, Owens starts fighting to win and gains the advantage. Owens nails the Pop-Up Power bomb and then calls for the Stunner and when he does, Vinci sneaks up on Sami and runs his head into the ring post. Owens doesn’t see Vinci coming as he rushes into the ring and attacks KO for the DQ. WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION: KEVIN OWENS After the match, Giovanni Vinci assaults Owens until Sami gets up and gets into the ring and fights for his friend. A brawl happens and this brings out the Intercontinental Champion, GUNTHER, who stalks to the ring and soon Imperium has laying waste to the Tag Team Champions. Imperium stands tall over Owens and Zayn who are in pain on the mat. In the back we see Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark talking in a hallway. The WWE Hall of Famer will be here on Raw…next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and we see still clips from Saturday in Saudi Arabia at Night of Champions showing how Trish Stratus defeated Becky Lynch thanks to the help of Zoey Stark. Trish Stratus mocks the crowd as she begins her promo because they all wanted sooo badly for their hero to dethrone the bitch, but it just didn’t happen. You see it doesn’t matter whether she calls herself The Man or Big Time, Becky Lynch is just…not…good enough to hang with the GOAT. Oh, Becky had her moments on Saturday, but she lacks the one true skill that turns someone who is merely very good into someone who is great and that’s intelligence. While these idiots may think that Trish Stratus got by with her amazing body and model-like looks, it was her brain that made Trish the greatest women's wrestler ever. And it was her brain that defeated Becky Lynch on Saturday. You see, Trish took a young person, in this case Zoey over here, and she gave her an opportunity. She looked at Zoey and saw potential and clay that can be molded into the future of this business. An opportunity to learn from the greatest, to be at the seat of the master and to become a star! And all Zoey has to do is do what Trish says and Zoey’s career will skyrocket to the top. And Becky can have that. She now knows what happens when you don’t thank Trish and more importantly when you cross Trish Stratus. So Becky, here is opportunity knocking…join Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark. Learn at the feet of greatness and watch as your career goes to heights that your little Irish brain could never have imagined. This is a one-time offer and next week, Becky Lynch better be on Raw to give her answer. She will either say Thank You Trish and join her side or Trish Stratus will end Becky Lynch’s career…*snaps* Just. Like. That. In the back WWE Official Adam Pearce is seen walking up to an arriving limo. He opens the door and says "welcome back, Raw is yours." The limo begins to open as Raw goes to a commercial break. When we come back, Raw's new Managing Director will be revealed after this time out. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns to a live shot of the crowd when suddenly… Eric Bischoff, the very first General Manager of Monday Night Raw, comes out to the ring. He is all smiles and being his trademark Easy E persona pointing at the crowd as he takes the ring. Bischoff tells the audience tonight that he loves them all and it is true that Triple H has appointed Eric Bischoff as the Managing Director of Monday Night Raw. Eric says that when he created Monday Nitro, he nearly ran this company out of business. And when he was the first General Manager in WWE history, Eric Bischoff's Raw cemented Triple H as a main event star, brought back HBK Shawn Michaels to WWE, and made Hall of Famers out of Edge, Lita, Trish Stratus and future Hall of Famers in Randy Orton and Batista. When Eric left WWE, he became a successful Hollywood producer and a successful podcast host, so while he was surprised to receive that job offer from Triple H, he also wasn't surprised. Eric Bischoff knows how to create moments, create stars and take Raw to the next level. That opportunity to make a new generation of talent into future Hall of Famers was too good to pass up. And that is why he said yes. And Eric Bischoff's Raw kicks off tonight with a huge announcement. Starting tonight, Raw is going back to two hours each week and very soon UFC will return to cable TV with a show to follow Raw right here on USA. And the reason that Raw is back to 2 hours is because the first thing that Eric Bischoff did when he was hired was to negotiate a new television rights agreement for Monday Night Raw. And the two sides reached an agreement this evening. Monday Night Raw will remain home on USA for the next 5 years and Eric Bischoff hopes to lead the charge here for that entire time. Welcome to Eric Bischoff's Monday Night Raw!!! Bischoff plays to the crowd while the announcers put over Eric Bischoff returning to Raw as the Managing Director. And Raw will be on USA for 5 more years from 8pm-10pm every week!! What an announcement! Raw is staying on USA for 5 more years and we have a new boss in Eric Bischoff! Still to come, the new World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will be here to address the WWE fans after winning the title last Saturday at Night of Champions. Raw will be back after this time out. COMMERCIAL BREAK QUALIFIER PIPER NIVEN VS RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ This is a hard hitting match that sees both women trade near falls along with stiff shots. Raquel gains the advantage but Piper’s size is too much and after Raquel wrenches her knee, Piper uses the size advantage to squash Rodriguez to the mat. Before long Piper Niven lifts Raquel up and does a Samoan Drop for a pinfall. Piper Niven has qualified for the Women’s Money in the Bank match! WINNER BY PINFALL: PIPER NIVEN Cody Rhodes walks into Eric Bischoff's office where he is thanking Adam Pearce for his time as Raw's official. Adam departs as Eric sees Cody. They shake hands and talk about how good it is to see each other and then Cody says that Eric knows what he wants, he wants Lesnar and he wants Lesnar immediately. Eric looks at Cody with sympathy and says that he wants to give Cody that match, but he can't...at least not yet. Eric says that he has spoken with WWE Medical and Cody has a broken arm and he needs rest. WWE Medical will not clear Cody for any match with Lesnar. Hell, Triple H just last week tried to warn Cody against the match and Cody went ahead and did it and he got hurt worse. Eric says that Cody knows how good of a friend he was of Cody's father, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes. And Eric has known Cody almost his entire life, and he cannot in good conscience grant that match until Cody is cleared. Cody asks what does Eric expect him to do? And Eric looks at him with sympathy and says go home and recover. Eric apologizes and walks out of his office while Cody looks dejected. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and shows us video of during the break where Cody Rhodes takes Eric Bischoff's advice and leaves the arena with his head down. There will come a day where Cody Rhodes will get his rematch with Brock Lesnar, but it is clear that it will not be anytime soon. BRONSON REED VS COLBY CORINO Bronson shows a viciousness as he pummels his poor opponent all over the place. This match is essentially a squash and after some splashes, Bronson hits The Tsunami (his top rope splash) and squashes his hapless victim. The result is obvious. WINNER BY PINFALL: BRONSON REED After the match, Reed decimates his opponent, showing a truly savage streak. He yells at the camera that Reed will not be denied. We see Finn Balor warming up. When Raw returns, our featured match of the night is the first Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifying match. Finn Balor takes on Ricochet next…on Raw. COMMERCIAL BREAK A graphic shows us that next week on Raw, Zoey Stark will make her Raw debut & Xavier Woods will be on Raw. QUALIFIER RICOCHET VS FINN BALOR This is a high flying affair as one would expect and both men go about a mile a minute. Following a distraction by Dominik, Balor is able to nail Ricochet from behind with a drop kick sending him to the floor. Balor distracts the ref and allows the jackals of his gang to beat down Ricochet before rolling him back in. Balor nails Slingblade…1….2….Ricochet kicks out. Raw goes to commercial at that moment and when we return, Balor is in real trouble. Ricochet starts mounting some real offense and scores some near falls, but Dom again distracts the ref after Ricochet hits the 450. This allows Damien Priest to slide in and grab Ricochet in a Outsiders Edge Bomb. Balor sees the opportunity and climbs the ropes…Coup De Gras!!! 1….2…..Ricochet kicks out at the very last second!!!! Balor can’t believe it and then gets an angry look and says this is over and climbs the ropes. Balor nails Coup De Gras one more time and covers emphatically….1…..2….3. WINNER BY PINFALL: FINN BALOR The Judgment Day gets into the ring and helps Finn celebrate. Mami’s words came true tonight. Finn Balor has qualified for the Men’s Money in the Bank match and The Judgment Day could soon truly run Monday Night Raw. We go to Kevin Patrick & Corey Graves at the announce booth. They put over that we now know the first man and woman participants in the Money in the Bank match. We then go back to Saturday in Saudi Arabia where Seth “Freakin” Rollins defeated AJ Styles to be crowned World Heavyweight Champion. When Raw returns, we close with the champ after this time out. COMMERCIAL BREAK New World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins comes down the aisle and he is the marching director of an outlandishly dressed marching band. The band is playing his song and there are balloons in the ring and confetti falling from the top of the arena as Seth is a pied piper in orchestrating the fans in signing his music. After a moment, Seth looks at the crowd and at the World Title that is now on his shoulder and he looks genuinely moved. Seth mouths thank you to the fans who are chanting "You Deserve It" and there is a celebratory mood in the air. Seth grabs a microphone and has to stop talking to soak in more cheers and then opens his mout.... Seth looks surprised as the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar makes his way to the stage and down the aisle. The band members are running away from the Beast who circles the new champion in the ring. Seth is confused but ready for a fight and drops his belt and prepares for the attack....but it doesn't come. Brock jumps off the apron and goes back up the aisle. With Rollins watching, Brock laughs and points at the title before going to the back. Has the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar set his sights on the new World Heavyweight Champion? Good night from Albany.
  15. As you can see, we have dropped the title Undisputed from the Universal WWE Title and we have reverted back to the classic Intercontinental Title design. Like the new women's titles, these are immediately factored in and assumed. The first Raw will be the Raw after Night of Champions. I will be the writer and chief of creative for Raw. Piper will be the writer and chief of creative for SmackDown. The first Raw of this new diary will be posted this Monday. And here is a little preview for you: Following Night of Champions, the new World Heavyweight Champion has been crowned. What awaits Seth "Freaking" Rollins as he begins his new reign atop Monday Night Raw? Also, the qualifying matches for Money in the Bank will begin on Raw when The Judgment Day's Finn Balor squares off with Ricochet. And what will the fallout be from Cody Rhodes passing out to Brock Lesnar's dangerous Kimora Lock? Don't miss Raw LIVE this Monday on USA.
  16. Alright guys, We took a chance with this diary as we wanted to try to do something other than WWE. And while we both wish the real AEW well, the fact is that we just weren't connecting with their product or style. As such, we weren't connecting with this project. We respect our readers too much to continue something that we're not feeling, so we're gonna end this. I am sure that we'll be back again in due time because Piper and I have the itch to keep going with diaries (with our goal of that one diary that keeps going for years), but we're not gonna commit to something that we don't feel. Thank you so much for reading this and we hope you read whatever we inevitably do in the future. Take care!
  17. APRIL WEEK 1, 2023 UNIVERSAL STUDIOS ORLANDO, FLORIDA ROH Wrestling opens with photos from Supercard of Honor showing the ROH World Title finish, the TV Title match and the Women’s Title change. The recap ends with the entire roster and crowd chanting for Jay Briscoe. In the cold open, Ian Ricabonni is in the ring and announces that Tony Khan has decided that Ring of Honor must be run separately from AEW and so he has appointed a new Chief Operating Officer to oversee Ring of Honor. That man is one that we all know and that man is here right now….. Nigel McGuinness returns to Ring of Honor to a standing ovation. Nigel says how great it is to be home and says that he is the luckiest man on earth. Nigel had an amazing in-ring career and ever since he has retired, he’s been lucky enough to see how not one but two great bosses create revolutions and shake up the wrestling business. And that is what Ring of Honor will aim to do once again over the coming weeks, months and years. But the reason that Nigel is out here right now are these (holds up the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Titles). Nigel says that Mark Briscoe inspired us all last week at Supercard of Honor and he will continue his career here in ROH as a singles star. We can all hope that Mark Briscoe has some big wins to come, starting tonight when he is in our main event against, Brian Cage. Nigel then announces that in May, a tournament to crown new Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions will take place. And this tournament is open to ANY tag team in the world. Teams should start reaching out to his office immediately as the brackets will be announced in just a few weeks. Stick around, when we come back, you asked for him, he got sent..it’s the Ring of Honor debut of….Hook! COMMERCIAL BREAK ROH Wrestling returns with Serena Deeb holding her brand new ROH Women's World Title saying that Athena can cry all she wants about being cheated out of her title. The truth is that the Professor is just smarter than Athena. Now this title is around a real champion's waist. Serena says that she knows that Athena want's a rematch, and she will get one, but it will be on the champ's terms and on the champ's time. If knowledge is power (pats the title belt), then Serena Deeb has all the power in the world. COLE KARTER VS HOOK Karter tries to launch an aerial attack on Hook, but the son of Taz catches Karter in mid-air and drops him on his neck with a Taz-Plex. From there, Hook takes his time just flipping Karter everywhere before locking in REDRUM for the submission victory. WINNER BY SUBMISSION: HOOK After the match, Tony Neese comes out to the ring mockingly saluting the new member of the ROH roster. Hook looks at him wondering what is up. Don’t go anywhere, when ROH Wrestling returns, the former Women’s World Champion will be in action, next. COMMERCIAL BREAK ROH returns to a highlight video of the ROH Television Champion, Samoa Joe. Next week, Joe defends his TV title against Chuck Taylor. EMI SAKURA VS ATHENA Sakura uses her years of experience on Athena in a competitive match. Emi beats down the former Women’s World Champion and grounds her with painful submission holds. But Sakura makes a mistake when she tries a diving headbutt and ends up eating the mat. Athena starts powering back into the match and after some strikes, some powerful slams and a few near falls, she soon nails Sakura with the O-Face Cutter for the hard fought pinfall. WINNER BY PINFALL: ATHENA After the match and after Sakura adheres to the Code of Honor, Athena grabs a mic and says that while Deeb may claim that she can defend her title whenever she wants, the new COO of ROH, Nigel McGuiness told Athena that Serena Deeb must defend that title within the next 30 days. And her opponent will be...Athena. Tick Tock, …”champ”. A scene plays out of a young, good looking man going to ritzy events in New York City. The Met Gala, attending some party on top of a high rise, diving into an infinity pool. All around him are beautiful women and champagne and clearly the good life. He looks into the camera and smirks before sipping champagne. The caption below him says “Charles Mason, the Prince of New York, coming soon to Ring of Honor.” COMMERCIAL BREAK ROH returns as Ian and Caprice tell us what is coming up next week on ROH Wrestling: Samoa Joe defends his World Television Title against Chuck Taylor, The Kingdom will be in action and Eddie Kingston will return to Ring of Honor after Supercard of Honor. But now it is time for our main event, Mark Briscoe vs Brian Cage! BRIAN CAGE W/PRINCE NANA VS MARK BRISCOE Briscoe comes out to a thunderous ovation and starts the match in full control until Nana trips him just as we go to a commercial. When ROH returns, Cage is throwing Briscoe all over the place and doing considerable damage to Briscoe’s back area. Cage does a Masterlock that sees Briscoe get to the ropes only for Nana to pull the rope back. The ref yells at Nana which allows Mark to back kick Cage low and break the hold. From there, Mark Briscoe makes this a brawl and the two end up in the crowd at one point before back inside the ring. Cage kicks out of a DDT and backdrops Mark when he tries a Piledriver. When Cage goes for a Lariat, Mark Briscoe grabs the arm and sends him into the ropes, delivering a running knee to the head of Cage and then the J-Driller in honor of his brother for the 1…2…3. WINNER BY PINFALL: MARK BRISCOE After the match, Briscoe celebrates his win and says that he's taking aim at the ROH World Champion in Claudi..... Christian Cage blasts Briscoe from behind. What the hell is this? Christian stomps on Mark Briscoe before hitting two Kill Switches on the former ROH World Tag Team Champion. Why in the world has Christian Cage arrived in Ring of Honor? And why is he targeting Mark Briscoe? We’ll see you next week on Ring of Honor Wrestling!
  18. Note: This is the last of the ROH shows that is largely simmed. Going forward, each ROH show will be written by me. I provided some detail for the ppv so that you know where we're going from here. Parker Bordeaux makes his Ring of Honor debut when he defeats Brandon Tate. The match is really meant to highlight the youngster who ends the match with a vicious Powerbomb. Brian Cage def Dalton Castle with the drill claw in a competitive match Hikaru Shida & Willow Nightingale def Marina Shafir & Allysin Kay in a Women of Honor Tag Team Match. The announcers put over that as a result of their win, both Shida and Nightingale will each receive ROH Women's World Title matches in the future. ROH World Television TitleSamoa Joe def Frankie Kazarian who had taken Joe to the limit in this match and nearly won the TV title on several occasions. After tapping out to the Coquina Clutch, Frankie offered to honor the Code of Honor. Joe reluctantly complied but then showed that he respected Kazarian for the tough battle. ROH airs a video package showing that the Cold Blooded - Handsome Killer, Hook has left AEW and come to Ring of Honor. He will be arriving next week on Ring of Honor tv. ROH Women's World ChampionshipSerena Deeb def Athena in a terrific back-and-forth match when Serena locks Athena up in a cradle and then puts her foot on the ropes. The ref does not see it and Deeb is crowned the new Ring of Honor World Women's Champion. Ring of Honor airs a commercial for its next pay-per-view event, Death Before Dishonor which will come on Friday Night Week 3 July, 2023. ROH World TitleClaudio Castagnoli def Scorpio Sky in a match that saw both men trade near falls and battle for nearly 30 minutes before Scorpio went for a Top Rope Dive that was countered into the Ricola Bomb for the 3 count. The announcers take us back to January of this year and the horrific and sad news of the passing of Jay Briscoe. Tonight, in what Mark Briscoe is calling his last Tag Team Match, Mark Briscoe will defend the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Titles against The Kingdom. Who is Briscoe's partner? We're about to find out. ROH World Tag Team Titles: The Kingdom comes out and then out comes the ROH Tag Team Champion Mark Briscoe...Taven, Maria & Bennett all mock Mark when they think that he has no partner. Until.... Eddie Kingston has arrived in Ring of Honor as he comes out to be Mark Briscoe's partner. Eddie says that he and Jay Briscoe were good friends and tonight, in Mark Briscoe's final tag team match, Eddie wants the honor to fight with him. Mark hugs Eddie and the war begins. It is a war that sees both teams brawl all over the arena and sees Eddie Kingston dive onto Matt Taven off of the big screen at the entrance area. Back in the ring, Mark Briscoe beats the crap out of Mike Bennett until Maria low blows him behind the ref and then The Kingdom takes over. Kingdom takes turns brutalizing Briscoe while keeping Kingston from re-entering the match until Taven goes for "Just the Tip" on Briscoe who leans forward and then does a low blow of his own. The ref, clearly knowing the moment, acts like he saw nothing much to the roar of the crowd. Briscoe tags in his partner who starts taking over. Eventually, after trading some blows, Kingston nails the Uraken on Taven while Mark throws Bennett to the floor. With Taven out, Kingston tags in Mark Briscoe who grabs Matt Taven and does his brother's finisher, the J-Driller for the 1....2....3. After the match, Eddie hugs Mark Briscoe who thanks him. Kingdom get into the ring and then they break character and hug their opponents. As does most of the ROH locker room, the announcers leave the booth and come to ringside. Mark Briscoe grabs a mic and says, with tears in his eyes, that this was for Jay. Mark confirms that he will not wrestle as a tag team again and that The Briscoes will forever be Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions. With the crowd chanting "Thank you Jay", Mark places the title belts in the middle of the ring, and Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor fades to black.
  19. Well, we're certainly glad that we surprised you :)
  20. ROH UPDATE!!!!! We have decided that we will be presenting Ring of Honor as a brand within the AEW world rather than simply sim it....but that will take place after the month of March. This is being done because Supercard of Honor takes place in only 3 weeks and it's just not enough time to develop long term stories for that ppv and for tv. So for this month only, the results of the tv show for ROH will be simmed and not largely produced. We will not write the remaining 3 shows before the ppv. Again, that will change in April. This will be the card for Supercard of Honor and it is assumed that it played out on tv: ROH World Title: Claudio Castagnoli (C) vs Scorpio Sky ROH World Tag Team Titles: Mark Briscoe & a partner of his choosing vs The Kingdom ROH Women's World Title: Athena (C) vs Serena Deeb ROH World Television Title: Samoa Joe (C) vs Frankie Kazarian Tag Team Match: Hikaru Shida & Willow Nightingale vs Marina Shafir & Allysin Kay Brian Cage vs Dalton Castle Pre Show (ROH Zero Hour): Parker Boudreaux vs Brandon Tate
  21. This makes me wonder something. We were just going to report ROH results, is that acceptable or do you guys wanna know more indepth?
  22. Greetings! After some much needed time off, Piper's Pit & I are back with a new project and it’s one we’ve never attempted before. AEW. We are beginning our project at Revolution so the real life PPV that happened a few days ago never happened in our world. You’ll be getting our show and our vision. On the AEW side, we’ll be dropping Dynamite and Rampage shows. Dark results will be posted with the weekly news. Dark Elevation is canceled. And then there is ROH. We had debated making it a developmental for AEW but instead we’re going to keep it as an entity and we will book it but the results will be posted in the same way as AEW Dark. We hope you enjoy this new challenge as much as we expect to.
  23. Update: I am here to let you guys know that, unfortunately this diary will not be continuing. Thank you for everyone reading this! PP and I will almost surely return with a fresh idea at some point, but we wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to read this.
