  1. Update: delay has been (shocker) by me. Life got in the way and then I got sick lol. Bad couple months on that end. Raw will be done sometime this weekend as I’m finally on the mend.
  2. The World Heavyweight Championship to be Defended on Raw! Last week on Raw, new World Heavyweight Champion Finn Balor was cleared by WWE Medical to compete and defend his title if he so desired. WWE COO Triple H then made a huge announcement: Seth "Freakin" Rollins to get his SummerSlam rematch this week on Raw. The World Heavyweight Championship will headline Monday Night Raw. Who will walk away as champion? Tune in and find out! Last week on Raw, DIY surprised everyone when they returned to WWE surprising Unified WWE Tag Team Champions, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn in the process. We have been told that Raw Managing Director, Eric Bischoff has signed DIY to exclusive Raw contracts and they will make their debut this week on Raw. Could the champs have new challengers? And finally, Matt Riddle tried to get his hands on Randy Orton, but failed to do so. Monday on Raw, the King of Bros will be in action and will have to put Orton in the back of his mind. Will the Viper strike on Raw? Don't miss Raw LIVE this Monday on USA.
  3. WWE Raw opens with still photos from last Saturday’s SummerSlam. The photos focus on Becky Lynch winning, Rhea’s successful title defense against Trish (including Trish trying to help Lynch), the IC Title match - especially Randy Orton’s betrayal, the World Title switch and Cody Rhodes defeating Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell. August Week 2, 2023 TARGET CENTER MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA Randy comes into the ring to a chorus of boos and tells everyone that he cannot blame the fans for booing Randy Orton. Randy says that he understands the anger that has come his way for what he did to Matt Riddle. And Orton understands it, because Randy is angry and disappointed as well. He’s just angry at and disappointed in…Matthew Riddle. While Randy has been gone, Matt Riddle had a chance of a lifetime to prove that all of the hard work that Randy has put in to teach Riddle how to compete at the highest of levels was justified. He had a chance to show the world that Matt Riddle was mature enough and talented enough to overcome all of his demons and all of his faults and prove that he could be the BEST. Matt Riddle failed. Which means Randy Orton failed. Seth Rollins was right when he called Riddle out for his personal life last year because Riddle did blow it. And time and time again over this past year, backstage and to WWE management, Matt Riddle has proven himself to be a child. An immature kid who is pushing 40 years old. In the ring, Riddle has been reckless which has led to time away from the ring and when he has been in the ring, he has failed to live up to the standard that Randy Orton was setting for him. And that is why Randy did what he did on Saturday. As much as it hurts to say this and as much as it hurts Riddle to hear this, it needs to be said: Matt Riddle does not deserve a championship as prestigious as the Intercontinental Championship! And so Randy did the hard thing, the loving thing and the compassionate thing and saved Riddle from hi…. Matt Riddle has heard enough and runs down to the ring. Instead of talking, he slides into the ring and immediately attacks Orton. Orton tries to fend off the attack, but Riddle is furious and eventually goes for Randy’s eye. Randy is able to block that attack, but when he fights back, Riddle begins choking Orton out from behind. Randy can’t break through the furious grasp of Riddle, so he does the only thing that he can do…RKO!! Riddle is knocked out instantly and Orton looks down at the Original Bro with disdain while clutching his neck. Like on Saturday, Orton simply walks away. In the back Eric Bischoff is meeting with WWE Medical. When we come back, the new World Heavyweight Champion Finn Balor will be told about his future as champion, live…next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns with Managing Director Eric Bischoff in his office. He brings in the new World Heavyweight Champion Finn Balor. Balor immediately tells Bischoff that he is fine and that his arm is good. Balor says this moment will not be taken from again and he goes on a tangent while Eric Bischoff keeps trying to interrupt. Eventually, someone enters the frame that shuts Balor up: WWE COO Triple H tells Finn to stop his whining and let Bischoff speak. Balor shuts up but is fuming. Bischoff looks at Finn and says that WWE Medical did diagnose him with a Rotator Cuff injury….however, it is a strain and not a tear. Which means, as long as Balor feels like he can defend the World Heavyweight Championship and risk the injury of a tear, WWE Medical will clear Balor for action and not strip him of the title. Finn immediately shouts in relief: “YES, I WILL COMPETE!!!” Triple H looks at the champ and smiles and says “Good. Because your first title defense is next week on Raw…..against Seth “Freakin” Rollins.” Bischoff smirks and says good luck. He and Hunter leave while Balor looks nervous. But the match is made: a huge main event for next week - Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs Finn Balor in a SummerSlam rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship!!!! CANDICE LERAE & INDI HARTWELL VS RONDA ROUSEY & SHAYNA BASZLER © *Match starts out as a squash early but then the champs get overconfident, Shayna Baszler goes for a splash of the corner and Indi moves out of the way causing Shayna to hit her head *Challengers get some hope spots on Shayna before Ronda is able to tag in *Before long, Candice is locked in Rousey’s ArmBar and she quickly taps out RESULT: RONDA ROUSEY & SHAYNA BASZLER WIN BY TAPOUT TO RETAIN THE WOMEN’S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The announcers tell us that for weeks, Jinder Mahal has been promising his return. And now we know who he will be bringing with him. Ladies and Gentlemen feast your eyes on …Indus Sheer. Indus Sheer will arrive to Raw, very soon. And they look to take over the entire WWE Tag Team division. Who will be the champs of that division? We will find out tonight because in our main event: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn will defend the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships against Viking Raiders. That’s still to come, but when Raw returns, Bronson Reed is in action against Ricochet…live, next. COMMERCIAL BREAK WWE Raw returns with still photos showing Carlito’s little hope against Bronson Reed at SummerSlam. We are told that Carlito suffered rib damage and will miss several weeks of television after the beating by the monster Bronson Reed. RICOCHET VS BRONSON REED w/THE MIZ *Early on, Ricochet is able to keep Bronson off balance with his aerial maneuvers *Ricochet eventually is able to do a top rope drop kick to Reed’s knee which takes the big man down and Ricochet hits the 450!!!! 1….2….Reed kicks out and Raw goes to commercial *When Raw returns we see “during the break” where Bronson has Ricochet on the floor and does a Vader Bomb on the floor and that is the end of the offense for Ricochet *After just brutalizing Ricochet with his size advantage, The Miz raises his hand in the air to tell Reed to go up top and when Miz brings his hand down, Reed flies off with the Tsunami….1…2…3 RESULT: BRONSON REED WINS BY PINFALL After the match, The Miz grabs a microphone and says that his monster has dispatched of Carlito and now they set their sights higher. Miz says that they know who the next target will be and that man’s life is about to change. In the back, the Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER and his brethren in Imperium is with Byron Saxton. The Ring General is full of bravado, bringing up that it was him, all alone, with no help from anyone who walked into SummerSlam and owned the moment. At Money in the Bank in July, the champ destroyed Drew McIntyre. And now, your Intercontinental Champion, the greatest of all time, defeated Drew McIntyre…and Matthew Riddle. So who is next? The Intercontinental Champion WILL crush the record set by Honkey Tonk Man, but who will be the next victim? An open invitation is on the table - step up and challenge your God - the Ring General - the Greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time - GUNTHER and be laid to waste. Damian Priest with Dom and Mami are seen walking down the hallway. When we come back, Damian is in action against Kofi Kingston LIVE, next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and Trish Stratus is finishing up a photo shoot for WWE.com when Zoey Stark comes up to her. Stark calls Trish, Judas for bringing Trish to Raw only to backstab her when someone dangled a Women’s Title shot in her face. But, Trish failed and Karma….is just like Trish. A total bitch. Trish gets in Stark’s face and says that at SummerSlam, Zoey lost her PLE debut because Trish was wrong when she saw something in Stark. And yeah, Trish lost against Rhea Ripley, because Zoey had to stick her nose where it didn’t belong. And little girl better recognize, because Trish can take Zoey down *snaps* just like that. Zoey says to bring it tonight. Trish glares at Stark and tells her that she has a deal. Tonight Trish Stratus takes the child to school. And Zoey Stark will be saying “Thank You, Trish” tonight. KOFI KINGSTON VS DAMIAN PRIEST w/DOMINIK MYSTERIO & RHEA RIPLEY *This is a fantastic back and forth match and Kofi Kingston looks better than he has in a long time *Priest stuns Kingston with a series of high impact moves but he is unable to score a pinfall *Kofi recovers and battles back and soon hits the Trouble in Paradise 1….2…., Rhea Ripley grabs at Kofi’s leg and slides him off and that's enough to allow Damian to kick out *Priest and Kofi trade some more near falls, but after another trip on Kofi - this time by Dom, Damnian nails a big boot to the head and then nails The Reckoning for the pinfall RESULT: DAMIAN PRIEST WINS BY PINFALL After the win, Dominik hands Priest a mic and Priest says that he heard GUNTHER’s open invitational for the Intercontinental Championship. Damian Priest accepts! Will we see GUNTHER against Damian Priest soon? In the back, the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes, bandaged and bruised, walks down toward Gorilla. When Raw returns, Cody addresses Raw LIVE. Don’t go anywhere. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns with a graphic reminding us that still to come in our main event - The Viking Raiders challenge Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship Cody looks at the crowd who is chanting for Cody and he is all smiles. Cody asks what does everyone wanna talk about? And then he throws to a highlight video of the match on Saturday. Where we see all of the brutality that was the Hell in a Cell match Cody begins to talk about the match, but as soon as he talks…. Oh my God, The Beast is here! Cody has this look like “oh god, for real?” on his face while the Best, who is bruised, battered and has a big dark eye comes down to the ring. Brock stalks Cody and surrounds the ring before getting in the ring. Cody, takes his jacket off and resigns himself to what’s coming. Brock looks ready to attack and then…. Sticks his hand out! Cody is entirely unsure of what to do and goes to leave, but Brock grabs him by the arm and yells “I’m serious, shake my hand!”. Cody takes a long look right in Brock’s eyes and then does as the Beast asks. Cody Rhodes shakes the hand of Brock Lesnar! Lesnar lifts Cody’s hand in the air in victory and shakes his hand again. Cody looks at Lesnar and grabs a mic and says “I can’t top this. Thank you for the fight that you’ve given me.” Cody points at The Beast and then leaves the ring. Brock Lesnar watches him walk up the ramp and go to the back and then Lesnar looks at the crowd. The Beast Incarnate takes a long look at the crowd, almost with a tear in his eye (though not quite) and then walks up the ramp and to the back. What on earth was that? We’ll be right back. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and we see a replay of Brock and Cody. The announcers cannot believe that The Beast Brock Lesnar came out and shook the hand of The American Nightmare. The Beast has endorsed Cody going forward, but was this a farewell for Brock Lesnar? In the back, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler are heading toward the exit when Katana Chance & Kayden Carter come up to them. The champs don’t seem to know who these two women are and actually say “no autographs”. Katana & Chance tell Rousey & Baszler that they are former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions and they are here because they want the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. And since Rousey & Baszler want competition, how about they defend those belts at Payback? Rousey laughs but Baszler says fine, they can have their match…if one of them can defeat the Baddest Woman on the Planet next week. Rousey is surprised, but agrees and tells both women that they can take the week to decide who will step up. But next week, one of these kids’ arms is gonna get snapped off. ZOEY STARK VS TRISH STRATUS *Zoey attacks Trish from behind as she is taking her robe off and spends a large portion of the early part of the match dominating *Eventually, Trish uses her experience and eventually Stratus has the crowd behind and her and before long, Trish nails the Chick Kick *Piper Niven comes down before Trish can cover Zoey and attack Trish in front of the ref, forcing the disqualification RESULT: TRISH STRATUS WINS BY DISQUALIFICATION DUE TO INTERFERENCE After the match, the announcers tell us that Lita is not here tonight and that Trish Stratus is on her own. Piper Niven and Zoey Stark surround Trish who stands in the middle of the ring waiting for the atta…. The Man Becky Lynch runs down to the ring and makes a bee line right for Zoey Stark. As soon as Lynch slides in the ring, Stark and Niven escape the ring. Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch both try to get Niven and Stark back to fight before realizing what happened. Stratus and Lynch look at each other nervously. Becky Lynch came out and saved Trish Stratus here tonight. Is a reconciliation on the horizon? The World Tag Team Titles are about to be on the line. We are taking our final commercial break, the main event is next on Monday Night Raw. COMMERCIAL BREAK THE VIKING RAIDERS w/VALHALLA VS KEVIN OWENS & SAMI ZAYN *What a wild brawl this is from the moment the match begins. Both teams just lay into each other and go to the floor and brawl into the stands and all over the arena. And the ref (we are told by Corey Graves that it is by order of Eric Bischoff) just lets it go *After brawling in the back, that sees Erik launch Sami into Ivar for a Samoan Drop on the floor (ouch!), Viking Raiders take the champs down to the ring and the beatdown commences *Sami just takes body blow after body blow and shot after shot and every time that the Raiders are close to winning, KO saves his friend. Eventually, Sami rallies and eventually is able to tag in *KO comes in as a house of fire and looks like he's about to end this, until Ivar blasts KO from behind and again, the Viking Raiders look dominant. They score near falls, and soon nail Fallout on KO…. 1…. 2…. Sami flies off the top rope and lands on Erik just before the ref hits 3 which breaks the pin! *Sami and Erik brawl to the floor and Valhalla is knocked down by accident during this, Ivar is distracted which allows KO the chance to recover. He turns Ivar around - STUNNER!!!!! 1…. 2…. 3. RESULT: KEVIN OWENS & SAMI ZAYN WIN BY PINFALL TO RETAIN THE UNIFIED WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP After the match, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn hug and put the titles in the air. They look down at their opponents who have bailed to the floor in sign of respect as they go to the back. The Viking Raiders came to play tonight and damned near pulled the upset off. But this night belongs to the Unified WWE Tag Te…. OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!! DIY IS HERE!!!!!!!!! The crowd comes alive as Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano come out onto the stage. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn’s mouths literally drop down in shock. Gargano & Ciampa look as serious as a heart attack as they look at the champs and then they point directly at Owens & Zayn. DIY has arrived on Monday Night Raw and apparently they want the Unified WWE Tag Team Championships! The tag team scene in WWE just got shaken to its foundation! Good night from Minneapolis!
  4. What is the status of the new World Heavyweight Champion? Saturday Night at SummerSlam, Finn Balor avenged the curse of SummerSlam 2016 when he defeated Seth "Freakin" Rollins to capture the World Heavyweight Championship. But perhaps a curse is real as Seth Rollins slipped when trying to do a Buckle Bomb to the guard rail on the floor and Balor injured his left shoulder as a result. WWE COO Triple H confirmed in his post SummerSlam press conference that the new champion is in fact injured...the question is: how bad? Raw Managing Director Eric Bischoff promises to provide an update. Will Finn Balor still be World Heavyweight Champion when Raw ends? Saturday night at SummerSlam, the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn were successful in their title defense against Pretty Deadly. By order of Eric Bischoff, KO & Sami will be on Raw and in our featured match, they will be defending the Tag Titles against...Viking Raiders! Who will walk out of what is sure to be a wild brawl as the Tag Team Champions of the World? Find out Raw. Saturday at SummerSlam, Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley survived a close call against Trish Stratus (although not without controversy). Who will be her next challenger? A fatal fourway match with participants to be announced on Raw will answer this question. And finally, Saturday on Raw Randy Orton shocked the world (and broke our hearts) when he betrayed Matt Riddle and cost the Original Bro the Intercontinental Championship. And the question is, why? The Viper will kick off Raw to give us that answer. What can Randy Orton possibly have to say for himself? Find out this Monday. Don't miss Raw LIVE this Monday on USA.

  6. We're just hearing about it too. Just freaking heartbreaking.
  7. Just hearing about the real life horrific news of the passing of Bray Wyatt. Just devastated to hear this news tonight and sending my thoughts and prayers to his family. 😢
  8. WWE Raw opens with a video hyping all six matches for SummerSlam this Saturday. It focuses on the big three primarily (the World Heavyweight Championship, the Women’s World Title and Brock vs Cody Hell in a Cell), but the other three matches get airtime. Tonight is the last stop for Raw before the biggest party of the summer. Welcome to Monday Night Raw. August Week 1, 2023 TOYOTA CENTER HOUSTON, TEXAS The challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship this Saturday comes down to the ring sans The Judgment Day and grabs a mic. Balor says that this Saturday in Detroit is the moment that Finn gets his life and his career back. A couple of weeks ago, Seth Rollins said some uncomfortable things, but they are things that may be true. The truth is that the injury suffered at SummerSlam in 2016 did derail the trajectory of Finn Balor’s life. It was all so planned out: become the first Universal Champion, lead Raw into the future, main event Wrestlemania and prove to the McMahon family that their doubts were all unfounded. And that one moment ruined it all, all because of one man. SETH ROLLINS RUINED EVERYTHING!!!!!!! But this Saturday is the day of redemption for Finn Balor, because Finn will walk into Ford Field as the underdog, but he will leave World Heavyweight Champion. And then all the wrongs in his life will be fix…. The World Heavyweight Champion says that he is tired of all this whining and bitterness by a once great man. It’s sad. Seth has empathy for the fact that Balor’s career hasn’t gone in the direction that he wanted it to go, but this is just whining and bitterness. Seth looks at Finn and says that it was never Seth “Freakin” Rollins that ruined the career of Finn Balor. It was not the freak injury, which was an accident by the way, and it was not “politics” that derailed a once promising career and made Finn rely on other men…and a woman…to do his dirty work. Finn Balor ruined the career of Finn Balor. It is as simple as that, but Balor is right. This Saturday is an opportunity at redemption. This Saturday Balor can find who he used to be and if he does, maybe..just maybe he will be good enough to defeat the champ and become the man. But if this Finn Balor shows up in Detroit? Then Balor will be a loser yet again only this time it is his last chance. Because if he blows it, again, how will anyone ever think that he can be more than just upper midcard? Seth tells Finn that it’s time to man up or finally shut the hell up for good. Balor looks affected before smiling and tells Seth that he’s right, but he will live to regret saying this. Finn Balor is still that man…and he will show up at SummerSlam and that is the night that the lights go out on Seth “Freakin” Rollins’ title reign. Seth will lose…again at SummerSlam. Seth raises the title and says “then prove it”. Both men stare at each other and then at the title that they both covet. There is nothing left to say….Finn Balor will challenge Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the richest prize in sports this Saturday at SummerSlam! We’ll be right back COMMERCIAL BREAK WWE Raw returns and we see another vignette of the Modern Day Maharajah Jinder Mahal in India. Jinder says that he has found his future and it is in the form of two men that will bring glory back to India. The day draws near when Jinder returns, with his two warriors, to take over Monday Night Raw. CHELSEA GREEN VS INDI HARTWELL w/CANDACE LERAE *This match is about showcasing Hartwell and she shows off some strong offense while her “mother” cheers her on *After some near falls, Indi hits a Springboard Elbow Drop for a pinfall victory RESULT: INDI HARTWELL WINS BY PINFALL Carlito is backstage with Byron Saxton. Carlito talks about how we are only 5 days away from this little experiment of Bronson Reed actually meaning anything. Carlito starts mocking Bronson and saying that he’s not cool, but he is cut off when Carlito is suddenly sent flying through the interview set. Bronson Reed is there with The Miz egging him on ragdolls Carlito around the backstage area. This goes near a metal door and Bronson lifts Carlito up like he is going to do a slam on the floor, but instead rams Calito back first into the metal door. Reed climbs up on some equipment and looks like he is gonna leap off to do a splash with Calito prone on the floor, but Eric Bischoff and officials rush in and stop Reed. As Bronson climbs down, Miz looks down on Carlito with disdain and sarcastically wishes Carlito “luck” on Saturday. Miz and Reed walk off while officials check on Carlito who is clearly hurt. COMMERCIAL BREAK LOS LOTHARIOS VS ALPHA ACADEMY * Los Lotharios get some decent offense in this match and even get a near fall on Otis of all people *But Alpha Academy are too good and too well of a team and before long, Chad Gable does an Olympic Slam and then Otis drops a huge elbow drop for the pinfall RESULT: ALPHA ACADEMY WINS BY PINFALL In the back, The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes is seen walking down to the ring. When Raw returns, Rhodes is in action against The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest just 5 days away from meeting Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Is this a mistake? Find out live…next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and we see a graphic reminding us that still to come is Trish Stratus vs Sonya Deville and in our main event GUNTHER will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Dolph Ziggler. DAMIAN PRIEST w/DOMINIK MYSTERIO VS CODY RHODES *A fantastic bout that really highlights Damian Priest and he pummels Cody for a large portion of this match *Cody does his best babyface in peril while he refuses to be pinned. All the while Dominik continues to be a thorn in Cody’s side *Cody barely kicks out of The Reckoning at the absolute last second. The tide changes when Cody goes for his comeback, but Dom rushes in. Cody sees him coming and sidesteps and shoves Dom into Priest *Cody begins a comeback and after a Disaster Kick and some jabs, before long Cody is able to hit the Cross Rhodes for the 3 count RESULT: CODY RHODES WINS BY PINFALL After the match, as soon as the bell sounds… Brock Lesnar makes his appearance. The Beast is here and he has murder in his eyes. Cody Rhodes gets up and starts getting ready for a fight as Lesnar charges toward the ring and soon the fight is on. Both men trade rights and lefts and brawl all over the ringside area until Brock grabs Cody by the neck and launches Cody’s body into the ring post. From there Brock does a German on the floor and throws Cody into the ring. Cody tries to fight back, but Brock kicks him low and lifts Rhodes up into the F5! Brock grabs Cody by the head and lifts him up into another F5. Lesnar goes to the floor and grabs a chair and nails Cody with one more F5, this time on a chair! As officials start making their way to the ring, Lesnar walks away with a smirk while Cody Rhodes’ lifeless body lays prone in the ring. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns to a replay of the attack of Cody Rhodes by Brock Lesnar. Then the video changes to show “during the break” where we see Lesnar walking down a hallway with a satisfied smile on his face. Raw Managing Director Eric Bischoff runs up to Lesnar asking him what the hell he was thinking? Bischoff berates Lesnar and tells him that Raw and WWE has spent thousands of dollars in promotion for this match. The world wants to see it and Lesnar could not wait 5 more damn days? Bischoff promises Lesnar that if this attack just ruined their match inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam, there will be hell to pay. Lesnar just smiles and says “oh, he’ll show up..he can’t help himself and it will be his funeral”. Lesnar walks away leaving Bischoff concerned. A video package of Becky Lynch’s feud with Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark plays. Included is the introduction of Zoey Stark and then Piper Niven added and Trish’s change of heart. At SummerSlam, The Man will take on Stark in just 5 days. SONYA DEVILLE VS TRISH STRATUS w/LITA *Fast paced match and really an old school Trish Stratus style match *Sonya looks particularly dominant and this match goes through a commercial break *Before long, however, Trish is able to nail a Chick Kick out of nowhere and gain the painfall RESULT: TRISH STRATUS WINS BY PINFALL Trish celebrates her win and Lita puts her friend’s hand in the air. As they are celebrating, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley & Dominik Mysterio come running down the aisle. Dom gets onto the apron distracting both women. Rhea slides into the ring and blasts Trish from behind and then turns her attention on Lita. Lita fights against the champion until Dom comes into the ring and pushes Lita from behind. The Hall of Famer swings at Dom who ducks and then pins her arms behind her back. Rhea readies the Women’s World Championship and prepares to strike Lita in the head with it, but at the last second Trish gets up and pushes both Lita and Dom out of the way. Trish takes the shot in the back of her head which knocks Stratus out cold. Lita crawls to her friend and covers her while a laughing Dominik Mysterio and the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley leave the ring. But will they still be laughing after SummerSlam this Saturday? We then go to the announce desk where Vic Joseph and Corey Graves come onto camera as they run through the final Raw card for WWE SummerSlam from Detroit this Saturday: WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Finn Balor vs World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Trish Stratus w/Lita vs Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley w/Dominik Mysterio HELL IN A CELL MATCH - WINNER IS MR. MONEY IN THE BANK Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FOR THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Drew McIntyre vs Matt Riddle vs either Dolph Ziggler or GUNTHER SINGLES MATCH Becky Lynch vs Zoey Stark w/Piper Niven SINGLES MATCH Carlito vs Bronson Reed w/The Miz WWE SummerSlam will originate LIVE this Saturday at 8pm eastern from the sold out Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan and exclusively on Peacock. In the back, we see Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER and Imperium walking down a hallway. After a few moments, the Ring General stops and tells Imperium that he doesn’t need them tonight. The champ will do it on his own. Vinci & Kaiser look surprised, but do as they’re told. Dolph Ziggler vs GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship closes Raw…LIVE next. COMMERCIAL BREAK DOLPH ZIGGLER VS GUNTHER *GUNTHER dominates early and just beats the bloody hell out of Dolph and goes for a Powerbomb, but when he does, Dolph turns it into a Hurricanrana *Dolph starts a comeback and really shines for the first time in a very long time and even scores a couple of near falls *Everytime the Ring General blocks Dolph, Ziggler is able to gain the advantage back and this frustrates GUNTHER who throws Dolph into the crowd *The two battle through the crowd and over to the stage where Dolph hits the Zig Zag on the floor! But the champ is knocked out and not in the ring *By the time Dolph is able to get the champ into the ring, too much time has passed and GUNTHER ends any hope of a new champion when he nails Dolph with a vicious kick to the head *Some brutal chops soon follow and then the Powerbomb for the pinfall RESULT: GUNTHER WINS BY PINFALL TO RETAIN THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Following the win, as the Intercontinental Champion celebrates, Drew McIntyre hits the ring. The former WWE Champion attacks GUNTHER with vicious haymakers and ducks a chop to beat up on the IC Champ some more. This brings out the members of Imperium who hit the ring, but McIntyre holds his own. Drew dispatches of both men before GUNTHER does a vicious chop to the back of Drew’s neck area. From there it is a 3 on 1 attack which brings out the other man in the triple threat this Saturday…Matt Riddle. The Original Bro comes running down toward the ring and gets up on the apron while all three members of Imperium wait to attack. They all have looks like come on in and get beat up. Matt Riddle looks indecisive….. RANDY ORTON IS BACK!!!!!! The Viper comes out to a massive ovation as he walks down toward the ring and looks at his friend and they high five. Riddle and Orton get up onto the apron and even though it is a 3 on 2 situation, Imperium is concerned. As Randy and Riddle get into the ring, Imperium bails to the floor. Riddle and Randy look at each other and they each hit a corner with both men doing their poses while Imperium and a recovered Drew McIntyre both look up in shock. Matt Riddle has brought himself an equalizer and RK-Bro has reunited here on Raw. Will this mark the end of GUNTHER’s near historic Intercontinental Championship reign? Find out THIS SATURDAY at SummerSlam!!!!! Good night from Houston
  9. Thank you! My tag team partner in this has been so supportive, but yeah this was worse than I expected. Doctor told me to be patient with a neck injury, but I haven't listened well lol
  10. Obviously, I’m not back yet. I’m trying to get to back to normal, but had to go to a doctor yesterday. The new plan is for this weekend. I’m so sorry everyone, this was more debilitating than I thought that it would be.
  11. Update: The medical issue was with me. I am nearly back to full strength and I plan to return to work tomorrow, which means I plan to get us back on track this week. Thanks to PP for being a terrific partner in this and to everyone for understanding. Will get Raw out as soon as possible!
  12. In what is becoming a weekly tradition now, schedule update: Raw won't be tonight. This time due to me recovering from a strained neck. Hope to post the show tomorrow
  13. With just 5 days before SummerSlam, the Intercontinental Championship is on the line. At SummerSlam, Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle will step into the ring in a triple threat match for the Intercontinental Champion, but it could be Dolph Ziggler that they could face. The Show Off has the opportunity when he challenges The Ring General GUNTHER live on Raw. Who will walk into SummerSlam as the Intercontinental Champion? Also, Seth "Freakin" Rollins & Finn Balor will come face to face one more time only 5 days before they collide with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line in Detroit. After how personal this feud has gotten, can both men keep their compuse? After brutally attacking Dominik Mysterio, the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes will face Damian Priest. With just days to go until Cody steps inside Hell in a Cell with The Beast Brock Lesnar, can a rageful Rhodes keep his anger in check? Finally, with days to go before she challenges Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Title at SummerSlam, the WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will go one-on-one Sonya Deville. Rhea Ripley is sure to be on hand, will sparks fly? This is the final stop before SummerSlam this Saturday! Don't miss Raw LIVE this Monday on USA.
  14. WWE Raw opens with a video package highlighting the recent issues with Matt Riddle, Drew McIntyre, the Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER & Imperium. The video ends with dual graphics saying in our main event: Drew McIntyre will face Matt Riddle in a match that may decide who will be the #1 contender for the title. Welcome to Monday Night Raw. JULY WEEK 4, 2023 AMALIE CENTER TAMPA, FLORIDA The World Heavyweight Champion, Seth “Freakin” Rollins comes out to open Monday Night Raw. Instead of the usual joking and the pied piper routine with his music, Seth appears to be all business as he gets into the ring. Seth grabs a mic and says that we are 12 days away from SummerSlam but to be honest, the champ isn’t sure if he can wait that long to take Finn Balor apart. Seth says that when this all began, he wasn’t entirely sure exactly why Finn targeted him and just assumed it had to be for the title. But then Seth thought back to 2016. At the very event that Finn Balor will now challenge Seth “Freakin” Rollins, in 2016 those two men met for another title. It was to crown the first ever Universal Champion. And on that night, after an epic back and forth contest, Finn Balor prevailed. Seth says that he is a big enough man to admit that on that night,7 years ago, Finn Balor was the better man. But then something happened, Seth grew as a wrestler and got better…and Finn Balor regressed. He fell back so far that he had to join a group of never weres and surprise, surprise, he isn’t even the most relevant of that group….a woman is. So that is why Finn is doing this. It is the reason for the sneak attacks and the assaults, it’s all about Finn trying to show that he can still be relevant. Finn needs this title to prove that the last 7 years were a fluke, that he hasn’t lost a step..that he’s still a ma…. The Judgment Day as one big group comes out and Seth laughs and says that just proves his point. Dominik welcomes us to Mami Night Raw and then Rhea Ripley starts to rip apart Seth which only makes Seth laugh harder because Finn is, as predicted, hiding behind a woman. Eventually, Seth incenses Finn so much that he tells his family to go to the back and Finn comes down to the ring and meets Seth face to face. Finn tells Seth that the success that Seth has had is not because Seth got better as a wrestler…it’s because Seth got better kissing ass. Opportunity after opportunity was just thrown Seth’s way because Seth sucked up to Triple H first and then to Vince McMahon. And once he became Mr. Becky Lynch, Seth became a made man around this place. Finn tells Seth that it’s ironic that Seth makes fun of Finn for the domination of Rhea Ripley, when Seth Rollins has never actually been in a planned main event at Wrestlemania, he had to interrupt one to have his “wrestlemania moment”. But Seth’s old lady has. In fact, she won her main event…that has to sting. Finn asks Seth how does it feel to be the forgotten one in his own family? “The Man’s Man” is really nothing more than Becky’s Bitc… Seth decks Balor and the two start to brawl. Eventually The Judgment Day come running down and Seth is able to clean house of Dom and Damian, but when Rhea steps into the ring, Seth won’t hit her. Rhea then responds by kicking Rollins low which brings out…. The Man Becky Lynch comes running out and tries to get at Rhea who has rolled to the floor. The Judgment Day back away up the aisle while Becky checks on her husband and we go to commercial. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and we see during the break that Becky and Seth have come to the backstage area and Lynch walks up to Eric Bischoff and demands Rhea Ripley here tonight. Becky says that she knows that Rhea has a date with Trish and that Becky has a date with Zoey at SummerSlam, but tonight The Man has come round and she wants Mami. Eric thinks about it and says that he won’t grant that request, but he will do one better. Later on tonight the World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins & The Man Becky Lynch will be partners and they will face, Finn Balor & the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley in a mixed tag team match!!! RICOCHET VS BRONSON REED W/THE MIZ *Bronson shows surprising speed and early on this looks like a squash, but it becomes a competitive match. After a couple of near falls, Bronson takes over but he can’t put Ricochet down *Ricochet starts a come back and sets up to win the match when Bronson goes for his splash from the top, but Ricochet moved out of the way *Finish sees ref yell at Miz which distracts the ref. Carlito comes from under the ring and sneaks in and does a Backstabber on Reed. Ricochet goes up top and nails the 450 for a pinfall RESULT: RICOCHET WINS BY PINFALL After the match, Carlito and Ricochet go up the aisle with Carlito gloating at having cost Reed a win. Bronson & Miz are seething and this could come back to bite Carlito at SummerSlam. Backstage, Cody Rhodes is putting on his ring jacket. The American Nightmare is in action against Dominik Mysterio, next on Raw. COMMERCIAL BREAK CODY RHODES VS DOMINIK MYSTERIO W/RHEA RIPLEY *A fast paced match and Cody actually shows Dominik some love as Dirty Dom gets some near falls *This goes through two commercials and Dom takes an entire segment in control after Rhea interfered, but then Dom slaps Cody and that sets the American Nightmare off *Cody starts showing a strong vicious streak and when Rhea tries to interfere, Cody actually shoves Dom right into the Women’s World Champ who falls to the floor *Cody then hits the Cross Rhodes for the pinfall RESULT: CODY RHODES WINS BY PINFALL After the match, Cody shows a viciousness as he continues an assault on Dom. Even Rhea looks surprised and concerned as she calls for backup from The Judgment Day. Cody grabs Dom by the neck and drags him to the floor and places his head in a chair and then grabs a microphone. Cody tells TJD that if they come closer, Cody will snap his neck. Cody says that this is a message for Brock Lesnar because he knows that Brock is not here tonight but is watching. In less than twelve days, when Cody and Brock step into Hell, only one man’s career is going to continue. Brock made this beyond personal when he touched Cody’s wife. And The American Nightmare will bring hell upon Brock Lesnar’s soul at SummerSlam. Cody then starts wailing away with a chair on the back of Dominik until he stops and then walks through the crowd toward the back and The Judgment Day checks on Mysterio. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and we see video taken during the break where Managing Director Eric Bischoff rushes up to Cody and asks him what the hell was he doing? Cody just glares at Cody before walking off. Eric turns around and runs right into Damian Priest who says what just happened out there is bullshit. Priest says that he demands a match next week with Cody Rhodes. Eric says that even though Cody will be walking into Hell in a Cell 5 days later, Damian has a point and the match is made. Next week: Cody Rhodes vs Damian Priest on the go home edition of Raw! NIKKI CROSS VS DANA BROOKE *Dana makes her return to Raw and shows some promise against Nikki but this match is about showing that Nikki is increasingly unstable. After some falls, Nikki rams Dana’s head into a turnbuckle with glee. *The finish comes with Nikki doing a choke like move on Dana for a submission. RESULT: NIKKI CROSS WINS BY SUBMISSION After the match, Nikki Cross looks furious and then starts laughing in the ring before leaving the arena while laughing. Nikki seems to be growing more unstable by the day. We get a video package highlighting the Trish Stratus/Lita/Rhea Ripley saga that played out during Raw last week. The announcers remind us that the match has been made for SummerSlam: Trish Stratus w/Lita vs Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship! We go back to earlier where the mixed tag team match between Seth “Freakin” Rollins/Becky Lynch vs Finn Balor & Rhea Ripley is made. The mixed tag match will take place after this time out. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns to a vignette showing Jinder Mahal who tells us that the Modern Day Maharajah has found his calling after searching through India. And soon, very soon, he will return and Raw will never be the same. SETH “FREAKIN” ROLLINS AND BECKY LYNCH VS FINN BALOR AND RHEA RIPLEY *This match is presented like a marquee match that takes up two broadcast quarters. The World Champ & The Man dominate early and then a brawl takes place before the ref restores order *Finn and Rhea then take over and Becky is separated from Seth as Rhea just works her over and Finn grabs Becky by the hair whenever Becky begins her comeback *Eventually Finn is tagged in and goes to hit Lynch, but Rollins jumps over the ropes and nails Balor and then Becky is up attacking Rhea and a brawl happens again *Finish sees Zoey Stark run down when the ref is distracted and assault Becky from behind on the floor. Stark drops Becky face first on the ring steps. Seth is then dropped from behind by Rhea and Finn is able to go up top and nail the Coup de Gras for the pinfall RESULT: FINN BALOR & RHEA RIPLEY WIN BY PINFALL After the match, Zoey Stark continues her assault on Becky Lynch while Seth tries to go save his wife. But then Seth is jumped by both Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley. Finn and Rhea start attacking the champ and, with Zoey attacking Becky, its a 3 on 2 situation until… Trish Stratus & Lita come out to the arena. Trish looks unsure, but with Lita urging her on Trish seems to have found her old form and charges into battle and attacks Rhea Ripley. Soon a brawl takes place and the World Champ, Becky Lynch, Lita &...yes, Trish Stratus, dispatch of Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley & Zoey Stark. Zoey looks like Trish betrayed her and Becky clearly does not trust Trish, but tonight the Trish Stratus we all know and love returned to Raw! We get a video highlighting all of the issues leading to Drew McIntyre vs Matt Riddle. When Raw comes back, our main event is next - McIntyre vs Riddle live on Raw. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns with a graphic announcing that next week on Raw, Lita will return to action against Piper Niven & Cody Rhodes will face Damian Priest on the final Raw before SummerSlam, and a mystery return to Raw is being promised. DREW MCINTYRE VS MATT RIDDLE *This is an even hard hitting match that is a epic main event for Raw *The match goes back and forth with multiple near falls and both men get ample offense and time controlling the match *The finish comes right after McIntyre kicks out of a Bro-Derek and as Mcintyre is counting down for a Claymore. All 3 members of Imperium hits the ring and swamps both men and the ref has no choice but to throw the match out RESULT: MATCH IS THROWN OUT DUE TO INTERFERENCE FROM IMPERIUM After the match, GUNTHER & Imperium continue their assault and systematically take apart both Riddle & McIntyre. Eventually, Eric Bischoff sends officials out to the ring and pulls Imperium off of their victims. Eric grabs a microphone and says that he wants to thank GUNTHER for this assault tonight because it provides clarity for Bischoff. For weeks, Eric has had to decide who gets GUNTHER at SummerSlam for the Intercontinental Title. Both Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle have made compelling cases for the opportunity. But GUNTHER just chose because he attacked them both. So guess what? At SummerSlam the Ring General will defend his Intercontinental Championship against them both. At SummerSlam it will be Matt Riddle vs Drew McIntyre vs GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship……..oh and one more thing….if Imperium interferes in that match in *any* way, GUNTHER will immediately lose the Intercontinental Championship. Imperium is furious and so is the Ring General, but they have no one to blame but themselves. At SummerSlam, GUNTHER will have to find a way to overcome two men that have all the motivation in the world to kick his ass and he can’t have Imperium as backup! Are the days of the Intercontinental Champion numbered? We’ll find out in 12 days at SummerSlam! Good night from Tampa.
  15. Schedule update: obviously Raw hasn't dropped yet due to some rl stuff, it might come out tonight but more likely tomorrow. I apologize for the delay.
  16. For weeks, both Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle have each had issues with Intercontinental Champion, GUNTHER. Both men want a shot at the champ at SummerSlam and their mutual desire for revenge against the Ring General and Imperium has boiled over into physical attacks on each other. Monday on Raw, Riddle and McIntyre's attacks reach a conclusion when they go one-on-one in our featured match. At stake is a shot at GUNTHER in Detroit. Who will prevail? Find out on Raw. Last week on Raw, Brock Lesnar appeared to accept the challenge of The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes for Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam. And then the Beast upped the ante by attempting to deliver a F5 to Cody's wife, Brandi. This week on Raw, Cody will have to put aside his anger when he faces Mami's Dom Dom, Dominik Mysterio. Will Rhodes be able to keep his focus? Speaking of Mami, last week Trish Stratus reuinted with Lita and then became the #1 contender for the Women's World Title. Monday on Raw, Stratus will be in action against Emma. Will Rhea Ripley be on hand? Finally, the World Heavyweight Champion Seth "Freakin" Rollins will kick off Monday Night Raw and he is promising to call out his opponent at SummerSlam, Finn Balor. What will happen when the leader of The Judgment Day comes face to face with the champ? Find out on Raw. Don't miss Raw LIVE this Monday on USA.
  17. WWE Raw opens with a recap of last week where we saw the World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins demand a match with Finn Balor only to end up having to defend against Damian Priest. The recap shows Finn Balor “accidentally” cost Priest the match. We then go to a video shown “earlier today” where The Judgment Day is arriving in the building. Damian Priest is walking ahead of everyone while Balor tries to talk to him. Dom and Rhea look anxious and it is clear that tensions are high with The Judgment Day. Welcome to Monday Night Raw. JULY WEEK 3, 2023 STATE FARM ARENA ATLANTA, GEORGIA Welcome to Monday Night Raw! The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes has come down to the ring and soaks in the crowd as he is home in Atlanta. In the front row is Cody’s family and they all are smiling while Cody is in the ring. Cody says that he is home in HOTlanta and man, it feels good to be home. We are less than two weeks away from SummerSlam and last week, Cody Rhodes got everybody talking when he said he would put the Money in the Bank briefcase on the line against Lesnar but only if the match is inside Hell in a Cell. Well, Lesnar will be here tonight and later on, he is going to give Cody an answer. And you can bet your ass that Brock Lesnar will give that answer to Cody Rhodes’ face, because The American Nightmare will come to this ring and face Lesnar like a man. But for now….how about someone from the back come down to the ring and lets have a match because this is Atlanta, and Cody Rhodes is home and he wants to kick some ass! Baron Corbin, a free agent, comes from the backstage area and says that he accepts. Cody says lets go and to get a ref down to the ring. Stick around, we’re going to try to get this impromptu match signed during this time out. COMMERCIAL BREAK BARON CORBIN VS CODY RHODES *Cody starts as a house of fire and scores some near falls before Corbin does a cheap blow and takes over *Cody does the old school Dusty Rhodes style babyface sell to give Baron some heat and the two have a few false comebacks before Cody eventually begins his comeback *When Baron goes for End of Days, Cody reverses it into a DDT and then the Bionic Elbow, Disaster Kick and eventually the Cross-Rhodes for the pinfall RESULT: CODY RHODES PINS BARON CORBIN After the match, Cody celebrates and then goes to the floor where he hugs his mom and kisses his wife. While Cody is celebrating, Raw Managing Director Eric Bischoff comes out to the stage and he is flanked by security. Eric tells Cody that he heard what Rhodes said a few minutes ago about confronting Lesnar here tonight and that is just not going to happen. Eric says that if he were to allow Cody to come back out here and confront Brock Lesnar, there is a good chance that one or both of them will end up hurt. And Eric cannot allow that to happen. So, Cody had his big moment tonight in front of his hometown, his family and his friends. But now is the time to leave. And these men are going to escort Cody out of the building before Lesnar arrives. The security comes down and surrounds Cody who is angry but Eric says he is trying to do what is best for Cody. Eventually his family go to leave with him, but Cody tells them to enjoy the show and waves to the fans before allowing himself to be led from the arena. In the back, we see Trish Stratus, Zoey Stark & Piper Niven on their way to the ring. Trish will demand Lita respond to her ultimatum…next on Raw. Raw returns and we see video “during the break” where security does indeed escort Cody Rhodes from the building and to an awaiting car that drives off into the night. Trish Stratus comes out with her crew and she says that it is time for Lita to make up her mind. Will Lita honor a 24 year long relationship? Or will she throw it all away for someone who cannot even lace her boots? Lita, come on down…. Lita comes out with no music as she walks down to the ring. When Trish tries to go over their history one more time, Lita holds her hand up and silences Trish. Lita says that she knows what Trish said last week and the truth is that Lita does love Trish like a sister. But if they are to get past this, Trish needs to be the friend that Lita has relied on for decades now. She needs to start competing with honor again and not be the angry person that she’s been these last few months. Trish promises that she will and puts out her arms for a hug…. Becky Lynch comes out and asks Lita if she’s really this gullible? It was Trish Stratus that looked at her “bestie” and attacked her in a parking lot a few months ago. And then came out here and proudly professed it. Trish Stratus is a vile, conniving snake and Lita is going to trust her? Lita is a damned fool. Trish tries to say that Becky doesn’t understand their friendship, but Lita interrupts Trish and tells Becky that she gets why Becky is pissed. She understands why Becky is distrustful, and Lita may be making a mistake. But this is her mistake to make. Lita knows who Trish Stratus is inside her heart, she knows what she can be and she will be the one to support her friend and fight for her to be the best version of herself. Lita then goes and hugs Trish much to the disgust of everyone in the arena. Lita then tells Trish that she got her a present, a gift to remind Trish of who she is…… Earlier tonight, Lita went to Eric Bischoff and asked for a favor. A favor that was granted. Tonight, Trish Stratus will be added to the Women’s World Title #1 contender’s match between Nikki Cross & Candice LeRae. It will now be a triple threat match…the condition? Lita had to choose Trish over Becky…now Trish must choose Lita over Piper Niven & Zoey Stark. What’s it going to be? Trish is unsure at first and looks around the arena for the fans approval and it is clear that they want her to embrace who she used to be. Trish eventually looks at Lita and hugs her friend once again, sealing the deal. Trish and Lita leave the ring, arm-in-arm and it’s official…tonight Nikki Cross vs Candice LeRae vs Trish Stratus. The winner faces Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam for the Women’s World Championship! Stick around, Raw will be right back. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns to footage taken during the break where Zoey Stark and Piper Niven attack Becky Lynch from behind. Becky is able to dispatch of Piper and soon Zoey and Becky brawl up the aisle into Gorilla. Backstage, they are separated and Bischoff runs in and says that if Becky Lynch and Zoey Stark want to fight so damned much…they can do it at SummerSlam! MATT RIDDLE VS GIOVANNI VINCI *In a rematch from last week, this match is mostly about highlighting Matt Riddle, though Vinci gets some high spots and near falls *But soon, Riddle is nailing the Bro-Derek for the pinfall RESULT: MATT RIDDLE WINS BY PINFALL After the match and as Riddle is celebrating, the other members of Imperium attack Riddle who is able to fight them off for a bit before the numbers game catches up. When it looks like Riddle will be taken out, Drew McIntyre again rushes to the ring to help Riddle. Together they clean house and Imperium backs away. Riddle turns around right into a CLAYMORE KICK. Drew looks down at Riddle, grabs a mic and says “that’s your receipt for last week”. Drew McIntyre then looks up at GUNTHER and challenges him for a rematch for the Intercontinental Title at SummerSlam. Will Eric Bischoff make this match official? In the back, we see Carlito walking down to the ring. The man that is always cool will be in action, next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and Matt Riddle storms into the office of Eric Bischoff who looks like he is having the worst night ever. Riddle is angrier than we’ve ever seen and he says that McIntyre gets to attack Riddle and then demand a match at SummerSlam? That’s bullshit! Eric tells him to calm down and says that he has not made up his mind about the challenge. But since Riddle and McIntyre can’t stop fighting, then next week…they’re gonna fight. Next week it will be Matt Riddle against Drew McIntyre. We get a match graphic that says still to come, Finn Balor & Damian Priest vs The Alpha Academy CARLITO VS HUMBERTO *This match is a glorified squash as Carlito is showing a pissed-off side of him after what has been happening with Bronson Reed *Humberto tries to score offense, but Carlito is really toying with him and soon ends things with a Backstabber for the pinfall RESULT: CARLITO WINS BY PINFALL After the match, Carlito grabs a mic and says that since The Miz and Bronson Reed aren’t here tonight and since they are targeting him for some pathetic reason, that’s cool. Let’s fight at SummerSlam. Carlito is challenging Bronson Reed at the biggest party of the Summer. In the back, Brock Lesnar arrives in the building. When Raw returns, Brock Lesnar will address Cody Rhodes’ SummmerSlam challenge…live…next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and we are told that the office of Eric Bischoff has confirmed that at SummerSlam, Finn Balor will challenge Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. Still to come, Balor & Damian Priest will put their anger aside as they team together to face Alpha Academy. The Beast Incarnate comes out and he laughs as he says he got exactly what he wanted. Brock says that everybody has wondered why Brock Lesnar has targeted Cody Rhodes. Why would Brock set him up the night after Wrestlemania? Why, why why? Because Cody Rhodes is a quitter. Cody had the opportunity of a lifetime when he backdoored his way into the big time all because of who his old man was and who his brother was. And because he didn’t get to be the main event, because he wasn’t given the big role around here, he bitched and moaned. But he didn’t storm into the back and tell Vince McMahon to kiss his ass, he didn’t be a MAN and DEMAND more opportunities around here. No, instead he quit. He quit and he went out into the small, minor leagues and let himself be a big fish in a small pond. He told you all that it was so that he could start some revolution, Cody Rhodes didn’t start a damned thing. This place is still the big time, it’s still the big leagues, it’s still what everybody knows and so Cody made Vince McMahon fly to his house…right here in Atlanta actually…and beg Cody to come back. Begged. Cody. Rhodes? And in that moment, Brock says he knew that Cody had to be put down when the time was right. And the time became right when Cody Rhodes thought that he could hang with the likes of the Roman Reigns’ of this world…and the likes of the Beast Brock Lesnar. And who put that idea in his head? Why it was the same person that told him to quit in the first place….. Brock leaves the ring and goes right to Brandi Rhodes, the wife of Cody Rhodes and the mother of his daughter. Brock says that person was Brandi Rhodes. Cody Rhodes is weak because he is whipped by his old lady. It was Brandi that talked Cody into quitting. And it was Brandi that talked Cody into thinking that he could hang with the sharks here on Raw. And now it is Brandi that will be his undoing. Brock gets into Brandi’s face and asks her what will it be like in just a few short weeks when her husband can’t walk out of Hell? How will he be a father to Liberty when he’s a vegetable? Because that is what will happen…Brock Lesnar accepts Cody Rhodes’ challenge and he’s going to maim Cody inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam. And when Brock makes Cody a vegetable, it will be Brandi who will have to look at Cody’s mother and tell her it was all her fault. Brock looks at Cody’s mother as he says this and Cody’s mom responds by slapping Brock. Brock laughs and then looks enraged and goes to grab her, but Brandi stands in front of her mother in law. Brock responds by grabbing Brandi by the back of her hair and dragging Brandi over the barricade. Brock lifts Brandi up and rolls her into the ring before getting into the ring and bouncing around stalking Cody’s wife. Brandi looks in absolute fear as Brock finally decides to strike and lifts Brandi up into an F5…… Suddenly, Cody Rhodes is seen sprinting down from the crowd just in the knick of time!! Brock sees this and waits for Cody to get into the ring and then launches Brandi right into Rhodes’ arms before bailing. Cody seethes with fury as Lesnar backs up the aisle, laughing the entire time. While Cody consoles Brandi, Brock says “I’ll see you at SummerSlam, bitch.” COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns and we see what happened “during the break” where Cody Rhodes escorts his family out of the building while Eric Bischoff runs after him apologizing for Lesnar. Cody says that Brock Lesnar is a dead man before getting into the car once again, but with his family it tow. Brock Lesnar threatened Cody Rhodes’ mother and wife and accepted the challenge to walk into Hell to face Rhodes at SummerSlam. But has Lesnar made the biggest mistake of his career this time? Find out at SummerSlam. FINN BALOR AND DAMIAN PRIEST VS ALPHA ACADEMY *This a pretty strong back and forth tag team encounter *Judgment Day work together fairly well, but there clearly appears to be tension and Damian stays in the ring longer than Finn wants *Eventually Alpha Academy are able to stage a comeback and we get a competitive match through a commercial break *The finish sees Finn disperse of Otis while Damian hits the Reckoning on Chad. Finn tags himself in and goes to the top and nails Coup De Gras for the pinfall RESULT: THE JUDGMENT DAY WIN BY PINFALL After the match, The Judgment Day all start attacking Alpha Academy who are trying to fight for their life. Even Maxine Dupri is slammed by Mami and this continues until…. The World Heavyweight Champion comes down with a chair. He gets into the ring just as Dom charges and Seth nails him in the gut with the chair. When Balor fronts up with Rollins, Damian is off to the side and soon Balor is Superkicked by Rollins. Rollins turns around *CRACK*!!! Damian Priest nails Seth Rollins with the title belt and then nails Reckoning!!! Balor gets up and looks at Priest who grabs the belt…..and then smiles and hands it to Finn. The two hug and all four members of The Judgment Day put their hands in the air, apparently united after all. Priest and Finn leave the ring smiling and high fiving while Seth recovers and gives chase. Rhea Ripley & Dom stay in the ring because when Raw comes back, our main event will be next. Who will challenge Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam? Will it be Nikki Cross? Will it be Candice LeRae? Or will it be the WWE Hall of Famer, Trish Stratus? Find out live…next. COMMERCIAL BREAK Raw returns with a graphic saying that just signed for next week will be Damian Priest & Finn Balor vs World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins and a partner of his choice. And Matt Riddle will face Drew McIntyre next week on Raw. We see that Mami, the Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley is sitting on the lap of Dominik Mysterio at ringside as the main event gets under way. #1 CONTENDER’S MATCH TRISH STRATUS VS NIKKI CROSS VS CANDACE LARAE *Out the gate, Trish acts like the babyface of old as her and Candice dispatch of Nikki before squaring up and trading near falls *Nikki gets back into the ring and nails Trish from behind who falls to the floor and then its about showing Nikki Cross as a badass. She grabs Candice by the hair and actually has LeRae’s hair in her mouth before Trish sneaks in and rolls up Nikki for a near fall *Next, a brawl happens between all three women and Candice takes over and scores some near falls on both women, even doing the old Trish Stratus Bulldog on Trish herself. Lita cheers on her friend who kicks out at the last second *After more near falls, Nikki is able to dump Candice to the floor and then DDT Candice right on the ring steps, knocking her out *The rest of the match is Nikki and Trish trying to hit finishers before Trish is able to duck a charging Nikki and then nail the Chick Kick for the 1…2….3. RESULT: TRISH STRATUS WINS BY PINFALL AND IS THE NEW #1 CONTENDER FOR THE WOMEN’S WORLD TITLE AT SUMMERSLAM After the match, Lita gets in the ring and hugs Trish Stratus. Gone are the old mannerisms of the heel Trish as Stratus seems to remember who she really is. Rhea Ripley arrogantly claps and gets in the ring with her title. Lita stands at the side of her friend ready to defend Trish in case this is a set up, but no fighting happens. Trish and Rhea go nose to nose and then Rhea Ripley raises the Women’s World Championship up in the air. The WWE Hall of Famer has a chance at destiny one last time. Trish Stratus will challenge Rhea Ripley in an epic match for the Women’s World Championship? What a night and what a match for SummerSlam!!! Good night from Atlanta!
  18. Huh?!? What on earth makes you think that? That's weird lol I can assure you that we're two entirely different people.
  19. Schedule update: expect Raw tomorrow. Today at work is no bueno
  20. Last week on Raw, The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes closed the show accepting the challenge of Brock Lesnar for SummerSlam, but Rhodes' upped the ante. In an emotional speech, Cody said that he would put the Money in the Bank Contract on the line against The Beast Incarnate at SummerSlam, if Lesnar would agree to fight inside the confines of Hell in a Cell. Raw's Managing Director Eric Bischoff has confirmed that Lesnar will be on hand to answer Rhodes' challenge. Will "the Final Encounter" indeed be signed as a one-way ticket to Hell? Find out Raw. Last week on Raw, Eric Bischoff said that he would decide the future of Seth "Freakin" Rollins and Finn Balor at a later date. We have been told that Monday is that date. Will the Managing Director give Balor a World Heavyweight Championship match? Speaking of The Judgment Day, it was Balor who seemingly inadvertently cost Damien Priest a shot at the title last week on Raw. Is The Judgment Day beginning to collapse? For the Women's World Champion, Rhea Ripley, she will have to worry about her group while also find out who her next challenger will be when Nikki Cross fights Candice LeRae. Who will win the opportunity at gold? Finally, last week on Raw Trish Stratus gave Lita an ultimatium: join her or be put down. Like with Becky Lynch, Stratus gave her friend a week to decide...that time is up. Whose side will Lita end up on? Find out this Monday on Raw. Don't miss Raw LIVE this Monday on USA.
  21. Holy crap, I am beyond honored to even be nominated. Writing diaries has been an outlet for myself on here since the end of the 2000's. To even be considered a nominee for a hall of fame for doing something that I genuinely love and enjoy, is amazing. Thank you so much for this nomination!!!!
