  1. Nothing is going on in my game. Every time I load it up, I stare blankly at an empty Smackdown card for about ten minutes and then turn it off. Can't get into it lately. Don't know what's wrong with me...
  2. Same with Kane. Both men deserve credit, but it all seems to get reserved for Undertaker showing up once a year for nearly a decade.
  3. Dave Lagana is head writer of TNA, so he's the one you'd play as if you chose to be their booker. Don't think Gaburick does much that is applicable to the game.
  4. WWF - August 1998 WWF World Heavyweight - Kane WWF Intercontinental - The Rock WWF World Tag Team - New Age Outlaws WWF European - X-Pac WWF Light Heavyweight - Christian WWF Women's - Ivory
  5. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Fleisch" data-cite="Fleisch" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41205" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I really don't like those new belt names. Now you're going to have people in the lineages that held them back in 2002 when they were SmackDowns exclusive titles in the previous split as having held the Raw Tag Team titles in their title histories. That really doesn't sit with me very well but as they have officially changed the names I will change them (begrudgingly). </div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm with you. Why don't WWE just go back to the original brand split formula? </p><p> </p><p> Raw - World Heavyweight Championship</p><p> World Tag Team Championship</p><p> Women's Championship</p><p> </p><p> Smackdown - WWE Championship</p><p> WWE Tag Team Championship</p><p> WWE Cruiserweight Championship</p><p> </p><p> Simple.</p>
  6. I thought the old formula worked fine. Raw had the World Heavyweight, World Tag Team, Intercontinental and Women's. Smackdown had the WWE Championship, WWE Tag Team Championship, United States and Cruiserweight. No need to have a Universal Championship, and naming the belts after their brand just diminishes their importance, in my opinion.
  7. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Owen Rey" data-cite="Owen Rey" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41205" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>It was a work 100%, if you saw the Jericho report you would have seen the second part of it that said Orton told him everything is okay. Can't believe how many people fell for that finish</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Like I said, the finish was probably planned. I highly doubt the extensive bleeding was.</p>
  8. No. A worked stoppage finish doesn't involve a trained UFC fighter hitting his opponent with two very stiff elbows (watch the footage) that instantly knock Orton out and leave him requiring ten staples. A worked stoppage finish also doesn't have Chris Jericho confronting the offending worker. Maybe the match was supposed to end with a "stoppage". It was definitely supposed to end with Shane getting F5'ed. I'm almost certain it wasn't supposed to end with Lesnar hurting a man who had made numerous comments about his drug use in the prior weeks. I've been watching wrestling long enough to know what is worked and what isn't.
  9. <p>Forget Genadi's 'Superfly Effect'. Someone needs to make the 'Lesnar Effect'. That man has become a public relations nightmare, and even though McMahon is insisting that the finish was a planned work, it didn't come across that way onscreen. Either wrestling is going to come under major scrutiny again, or fans are going to tune in because it's presented as unpredictable. Oh, well. At least his actions are good for mods. Looking forward to how all the developments of the past 48 hours are integrated. </p><p> </p><p> Maybe it would be worth giving a lot of the locker room tension with Lesnar because of his seeming immunity from punishment. More and more, he's turning into the 2016 version of the 1996 HBK. Nobody likes him, but the man makes money, although I don't see a complete redemption of character in four years time when it comes to Lesnar. It could make managing the WWE locker room very interesting.</p>
  10. Along with Montreal Aftermath, this was definitely my favourite mod for 13. Great news.
  11. <p>In other news, I like the mod. Had to lower some of Cena and Ambrose's stats, but that's personal opinion. Outside of that, Fleisch has given his time to provide something for everyone else. Criticising that is a little silly and disrespectful. </p><p> </p><p> Anyway, I'm off to book Kevin Owens to win Money in the Bank. Wait... he has low star quality!? GTFO!!</p>

Between USA, Canada, and Japan, his lowest pop is 60.</p><p> </p><p> Fun Fact: After dying in an accident in December 1990, 27 year old El Hijo del Santo was named Wrestler of the Year. That made me happy.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> How do you sim forward so far? I can only do it a year at a time and it takes forever. After about twenty minutes, I'm still in February of 1985.</p>

  15. HBK was a huge star held back by the WWF's terrible product at the time. Whoever thought it was a good idea to give every wrestler a kayfabe career was a fool. On top of that, WCW was airing a gritty, realistic product in competition. In my humble opinion, HBK was the biggest star of the Kliq, but his environment worked to his detriment. He got some serious pops in his day though, and after his return. World Heavyweight Championship win at Survivor Series 2002. I get goosebumps whenever I hear that crowd. Be a shame to limit his star power because he didn't have "the look" when he eventually became a star in spite of it. It's a fine balancing act.
  16. Update: Fixed it. Mistakenly deleted TV when it should have been Networks.
  17. Sorry, mate. Didn't understand that. Just tried again. Extracted the file directly into the TEW 16 picture folder and it isn't even showing up there... Just so it's clear what I originally did, I copied and pasted the nGo pic pack folders into the Risky Business pic pack I'd created. I copied Carriers and TV into Broadcasters and deleted both folders. Nothing.
  18. For some reason, my game can't identify your nGo picture pack. It gives me the option to set the Default or the pic pack from Fleish's mod, but not yours.
  19. Don't know if it's possible to put him in, but Chris DeJoseph, aka Big Dick Johnson, is the head booker for Lucha Underground rather than Chavo. Had a cursory glance at the mod. Tremendous detail as usual. I wish I was wearing a hat so I could tip it to you, sir.
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="MorenoKing24" data-cite="MorenoKing24" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41343" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>It's actually pretty common among all the promotions. When the universe was created there were a lot of guys in their early 20s I assume, who went on to become the stars in their 30s and 40s.<p> </p><p> There is a nice who's who of young workers in the database but they haven't quite reached the level to take over for the older generation.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yeah, I've been doing some scouting, but being so new to this universe, it's more difficult taking a chance on someone than in RW mods. That said, it feels a little like the early 90's, as though the industry needs a youth movement, and it's good implementing and overseeing that in a promotion.</p>
  21. Thought I'd give the C-Verse a try, and TCW was my promotion of choice. I've had one question since starting with them though: why such an aged/aging roster? There are only about five workers under thirty.
