1.
El Hijo Del Fantasma vs. Tarantula

Hijo Del Vigilante vs. Samael The Accuser

Noxious vs. Snake King

Honestly these first three matches the other workers in each match just isn't that good. I like Tarantula but he averages a 24 contribution to matches while Fantasma puts out a 34 average. Noxious is lucky to get into the teens and averages a 12 while Snake King averages a 51. And the overness disparity. Samael and Vigilante are a lot closer with Vigilante averaging a 32 while Samael averages a 36 but there is just a much bigger upside to Samael.

El Toro De Oro Jr vs. La Estrella

La Estrella is going to have a big match against some one of the sinners he's going to lose but its not Toro De Oro

Captain Lucha vs. El Orgulloso

Orgulloso is good he's just not in Captain Lucha's league right now and the champ isn't gonna take a loss.

 2. Cyclops vs. El Orgulloso You're gonna wanna build the new guys a bit Hellfire vs. Snake King Hellfire sucks Goblin Prince vs. Scorpion I love the goblin prince but Scorpion is just more over and a better worker by far DeCipher vs. El Ladron DeCipher again more over and a much better worker Death's Head vs. Dolphin Master Two Bonus predictions, one of the 10 luchadores above won't actually make it into the ring for their match, but the match will still go ahead with a replacement: 1. Who won't compete? Dolphin Master 2. Who will they be replaced by? Captain Lucha
 3. I'm not using him either. But I'm thinking of doing a battle of the most vain wrestler between him and La Estrella who I am also not using at the moment.
 4. Good stuff. I'm livestreaming an EMLL run on twitch and except for adding Delirium to the battle between Anarchist and La Bestia Morada and naming our weekly show Tales from the Multiverse (Although I changed all my names to spanish names so Cuentos del Multiverso) you've gone in a much different direction than I have. I really like the seven deadly sins characters. I did that in my last 2016 road to glory challenge in an American fed which would have been perfect for the grindhouse lucha product if it existed back then. Anyway good job I like.
 5. Grind House Lucha all day every day. It is such an amazing product. With Rudos and Tecnicos turned on but not enforced or loosely enforced. EMLL is my C-Verse promotion and I'm seeing so many real world mod players bring back Lucha Underground and it makes my heart happy.
 6. As quite a few people move away from writing out diaries for their games and begin using Twitch to stream and YouTube to publish their games. Is there a space on the board - I may have missed it if I did please point me the way - where people can promote their twitchstreams or post their uploaded content to youtube just like they would a diary. Or should you just post a diary with video links?
 7. Unless I'm missing it. having to click on each skill individually to see a skill increase has happened is a huge pain in the ass. Is there not away to just be able to view all the skills, or a big portion of the skills between different drop downs like in 2016. Obviously not a game breaker for me as I love pretty much everything else I just find this one thing tedious.
 8.
This is why I like over the top products. Lucha Underground. Wrestler A wants an ancient artifact, wrestler B looks to avenge their parents, wrestler C just wants to prove they're the best in the world, wrestler D serves a dark master and looks to make sacrifices in his name. I don't have to just worry about wrestler A said something bad about wrestler B so no they must fight I have a wide range of stories to choose from.

This is why I book EMLL in the C-Verse. A crack in the multiverse, undead monsters, demons, time travellers, superheores, that one normal dude who has no clue what's going on. The minor titles are rings of power everyone wants to possess. So much damn fun and the stories just tell themselves.

 9.

To be fair, if the calculation has gone from high 90s to a final rating of 79 (as OP indicates) they got a pretty big whack from something, so it's reasonable to try to work out what's causing it.

Its probably multiple things. a .5 hit here a 1 hit there. It could also be how his matches are rated. If his matches are rated 60% overness and 40% in ring if the workers overness is only 70 or so then the match is gonna be closer to that. There is so much going on that attributing it to anyone one thing is insane.

 10.

I routinely use slow build in my main events, sometimes in semi-mains, without any problems....but that's as TCW.

Yeah, me too. Any match above 15 minutes gets a Slow Build note, usually my Main Event on TV and my big matches at PPVs, and I've never had any drama either.

I think mostly its because real world mods for the most part are not designed to work with the game. They are almost all broken in some way. Almost all of the "why do I get this penalty" posts are from real world mods. They just are not designed to work correctly with the game.

 11.

Just ran Darby (92) versus Fenix (81). Got a 76 rating with the only penalty being for a lack of psychology, despite both having a 73 psych rating. So I'm getting a 10 point swing on rating, for (actually not that) bad psychology.

Is that really the only penalty you are getting in the dirt sheet? Not every penalty shows up on the main page you have to check the dirt sheet for every little penalty they are getting. Also I don't seem to have these problems with C-Verse I feel like most of these issues turn up in real world mods cause the stats are poorly balanced for the way the game works.

 12.
Same thing with slow build. You don't know when the calculation comes into effect. I don't run real world mods they tend to be broken anyway. But I'm running EMLL in the C-Verse and I have Captain Lucha vs La Estrella as my main event. Lucha's got a psychology of 84 and and Estrella's is 72 and I did not get a penalty for slow building a 16 minute match.

The penalty may not even come just from psychology. It can come from time length too. Its much easier to slow build a 16 minute match than it is a 25 minute match or a 30 minute match. And again what was the rating prior to checking the can he slow build. If it was already really high then you're gonna have a problem. Honestly its much easier to get penalties 0 even if they are small - when you are at a higher level because people expect for from you. This is a constant in real life as well as in the ring. The better you are at something the more you are going to get picked apart for minor failures.

 13.
So here's the thing. A lot of times we don't know when the calculation of a certain thing happens. So you don't know when it checks against the rating or not. Lets take announcers for a moment.

At some point in the calculation it checks the announcers stats against the rating of the match. So lets say first it calculate psychology, and in ring skills (brawling ect) and then it calculates announcers. If the claculation up to that point is 85 and your announcers announcing is 87 then you won't take a hit. If its 85 and your announcers are 95 you may even get a boost. But if its 85 and your announcers are 74 it will take a hit.

So basically if your announcers were 88/89 and you took a hit that means the calculation of the match up to that point was probably in the high 90s. On top of that takes a hit can be almost meaningless. You can lose .1% or even .01% its still a hit and it says so but its not like the hit will be 5% or even 1%. The same goes for everything else it depends on where in the total match calculation it takes place.

People need to stop fearing "penalized for" very often the penalized for penalties are so minuscule as to be completely unimportant.

 14. I play any fictional mod. I play a lot of core C-Verse. Derek B's C-Verse '97 is amazing. I'm super hyped for the return of the 70s C-Verse mod. I also play Thunderverse. But I don't touch real world mods with a 10' pole. I can't play them. I can't read real world diaries. I just have no interest in the real world at all. Which is funny because I am a professional wrestler in the real world.
 15. I'm having a hard time finding it in the manual but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. When booking a show and it says 60/40 matches/angles for TV is it the same as 2016 do I have a 10% leeway can I do 50/50 or 70/30?
 16.
Thanks for sharing folks. So I guess I'll share a bit about me.

I'm a big nerd from NYC. I have published 3rd party content for the pathfinder roleplaying game. I am also a professional wrestler. I've been in the business for about 12 years now trained by The Unpredictable Johnny Rodz. I started late when I was 31 so I'm 43 now and still doing it. I actually had a partial knee replacement last year - childhood injury non-wrestling related - and this year wwas supposed to be my big comeback. New tights, new mask, new t-shirts. But the pandemic has stopped that cold.

I've been on the boards since TEW 2005 and was a lot more active a few years ago. My day job at UPS sucks up a lot of my time and will to do fun things. But TEW2020 has renewed my presence here on the boards.

I actually find it hard to proffer a lot of information about myself. I'm much better at answering questions. I do understand the importance that connections bring to mental health and I've always been a pretty approachable dude so anyone is free to contact me for any reason.

 17. Touring promotion with no broadcasting deal. The tour day #x events don't seem to be getting me any pop gains in the area they are being performed in. Does anyone know if this is the way its supposed to work before I report it as a bug.
 18. I bought TEW 2004 from .400 Studios and I remember the game fondly. Other than that I don't really remember much about them. I do kind of wish there were a way to get TEW 2004 again. If nothing else just to look through the game world. The rosters, the worker. Although Richard Eisen's new bio says he doesn't really make himself an onscreen character. In TEW 2004 he led a group called the supremacists. Which I think included Black Hat Bailey, Runaway Train and a really young Remo.
 19. People use something other than freestyle angles? I mean as soon as freestyle angles were an option I never looked back? Even in 2015 when we could make out own angles - not exactly freestyle but hey - I never used default angles. I have to say I'm honestly shocked people are using anything other than freestyle angles.
 20. I guess this is gonna be a big list. And an early thanks to anyone who helps out. I need some graphics for my road to glory challenge game which I'm streaming. Its an American Touring Promotion that is junior competitor oriented. This is what I need. AWE (Amalgam Wrestling Experience) A Logo and a Banner Titles AWE Inspired Championship AWE Inspired Collective Championships AWE Top Rope All-Star tournament achievement AWE Dynamic Duo tournament achievement Show Logos Inspired Times Tour Tales of Astonishment Tour Feats of Amazement Tour True Marvel Tour Stunning Conflict Tour Show Stoppers Tour Show to the System Tour Top Rope All-Stars Tour Darkness Rising Tour Dynamic Duos Tour All the tours have an ending show of the same name so the logos can be the same. Or if you have time the tour day logos can say (tour name) tour day and the actual big show just have the tour name. The ending show for Darkness Rising however had a different name so I'll need a logo for: Hell O' Ween
 21.

Anyone have any tips for someone who is attempting this for the first time? Like how to start? Best area to possibly begin? How many wrestlers/staff to hire at start? Go with weekly or once a month show?

There are gonna be differences. In 2016 I would go with weekly shows and a monthly big show. You wanted to shoot up your popularity as quickly as possible so you were making money. I don't know how that will work out in 2020. In 2015 you would start by hiring only a handful of workers - maybe 8 - and using them multiple times on a show to start. In 2020 workers cost much much less to use and the minimum rosters seem to be much larger than they were in 2016 so I'm starting with 16. A lot of this is gonna be play it by ear for awhile till people get the hang of the game. So try out some new stuff.

 22.

I've managed to do so as well so far. It's not that hard and actually makes me need to think a bit more about how I want to build my feuds. I always want at least 1 good talker or a brawler in there so the story can advance through angles without having constant repeat matches.

Having said that, I am considering opening it up, maybe with some restrictions, just because the entire company is just so perfectly built for Stable feuds.

I don't even really want to introduce tag belts or trios belts, etc. Just having groups of guys go to war for the rings of Power seems like a good enough reason to me.

On that note, only one of the rings is specifically identified as 'being occasionally defended' outside of the annual event where it is won. For me I'm trying to decide whether the others should be as well, or if the feuds just revolve around someone stealing the rings (but not getting an official 'title reign' with them in the game).

I've managed to create stables without moving away from the 1 v 1 matches and its worked so far. As for the rings, I'm going with the stealing the rings thing. I like that they're only one at a single event.

 23. There is an EMLL thread here and the discussion just goes to show how different people are taking it. I ran it a bunch in the demo and actually managed to keep to the 1 v 1 nature of the company. I thought it would be much harder than it was.
