In the space of 2-3 months, Jack went from a 64 with Larry Z to an 82 in their second match. Jack was not wrestling much in between their matches. Before the shows, I've had messages about Flair teaching Cactus Jack. Definitely helps their grades move up faster if they have a mentor in the same company. I doubt Cactus would be capable of the second rating without the help of Flair. In that match, he had the same rating as Larry. He wasn't being carried like the first time.

Does the protege necessarily have to have a match with the mentor?

I don't run the performance feds often, so I am limited in what I can say, but in my experience they tend to be actually easier to book and to get workers over in as you just have to find workers with good skills and put them in good matches. It is entirely possible (although quite unlikely) to get two workers to put on a B+/A level match even when neither has B level overness in a performance fed if they are good enough wrestlers. Its not possible in a WWE type fed where popularity matters too much to allow the fans to give an A rating to such a matchup.

This is quite true. My very first show (in Japan, Puro based) as a Local I had a B- when both workers were looking at somewhere in the F for popularity.

 6.
What sort of Product does a company want if you were simulating a "classic, golden-age" wrestling company? Like, Strangler Lewis or Gorgeous George days?

It's not Traditional, although I like to call it that. I set a company to Traditional and was rather surprised to see it demanded all sorts of gimmicks. (I guess nobody told Bruno Sammartino that.) I tried also setting it to Pure, but it requires a very high match intensity. Traditionally these guys wrestled back to back days and nights. I don't see what category to try next.

 9.
Is there any way to expand the game screen size?

It only uses a portion of my large screen and I would rather it took up the whole screen. 15.
Any suggested guides for setting up a tournament?

I noticed the option for titles when you are creating one and think that would be awesome to play, but I don't want to get all into a game and realise I made many gross errors with a tournament and now face restarting.

 17.
This is a complicated question:

Classically wrestling matches used to have rounds. Often with a one minute break in between. They still pop up in European and UK matches (especially for a title). They were 2/3 Falls with a fall ending a round. DQ ended the match. If you ever get to watch one of these give it a try. It's pretty exciting watching a tight submission hold look inescapable and finally the round ends so it looks like the guy that was going to lose gets a reprieve (thus giving a reason for one to try and hold out as long as possible).

Anyway, how is it best to replicate this in-game?

 18.

The manager push is for workers you want to accompany your wrestlers. For example, in real life, Paul Heyman is Brock Lesnar's manager, Maryse is The Miz's manager etc.

Personality is more of a random push, I guess. I never understood it. It is for people like Renee Young etc.. who don't have to do anything with matches but can do promos and angles etc.. You can also assign them as managers if you want..

Yes, road agents can become managers. But road agents are people behind the scenes who take care of a match.. Current examples would be Micheal Hayes, or Jamie Noble for WWE.

But when a worker is assigned as manager, even if they are "personality" they are in the angles and ringside during matches because they give bonus/penalties just like a manager ...

All I can tell is id they are set to "personality" and you do not have them currently assigned to a wrestler they don't have the annoying message pop up that they have no person.

What I have been doing to not get those messages is setting all managers to personalities and then if their wrestler goes away (contract ended or talent trade used up) they don't knock on your door and annoy you.

But this will effect the game mechanics, right? I should want to not put everyone on personality ... right? (Then again, they all always ask for personality so I guess if I push them into managing they will be unhappy?)

 19.
? What is the difference between "Manager" and "Personality"?

This does not seem obvious.

In-game I can assign either to a worker as a "manager" and even characters hired for the description of "now works as a manager" but they will say they rather have Personality. Sometimes even Road Agents say this. Can a Road Agent be a manager?

Not all renders ever are in there, but it's such a colossal task to keep track that that's normal.

Note: If you are wanting to take a full sized image (600+ x anything) and shrink down to 150 x 150.

First, is to take image to Photoshop (CSC was still free last year and good enough for this purposes). Use Filter>Sharpen (or Sharpen More). Image should now look more defined, possibly has white areas along lines. White lined areas are good sign.

Then Resize to 150 x 150 (maybe trim off edges for this, most image not squares.) This is where white lined works. The smooshing covers it all up.

You can render characters easy in Poser or DAZ. But try ask somebody for 100s of pics of people (the entire cast of WWE, say) from someone using either program. It would be like asking them to borrow their car. Permanently.

 22.
Another Newbie Question; how does one place a worker in charge of a dojo? I assume it needs one <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I created one in-game but did not find the option during it's creation to have one.

 23.
New Player Question: Can you fire a worker?

Been playing for a couple days. Found out that my third-string color commentator is a jackhole in the locker room. Only button I found was "Send Away" but apparently since I do not own any other companies that option is not available.

PPA contract. You'd think I'd just not have to have him show up (like, in rl). But apparently he wanders into my locker room even though at the third string level he doesn't even make an appearance in the show.

Thanks <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

 24.
? Is there a way to delete saved games?

<img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> They are starting to pile up.
