  1. This is a question about venues and simultaneous events/shows. I got a monthly event coming up and it falls on the same day as my television B-show. In the past when this happened they shared the venue (it was a shock seeing five digit ticket sales to my B-show until I realised why everyone was really showing up.) Do the inflated crowd numbers my B-show gets due to sharing a venue with a monthly event translate to increased ticket revenue? (i.e. am I selling 30 thousand tickets to two shows or just one?) Is there any way to split the two shows up? I usually send my B-show overseas as my broadcaster covers Canada/home and U.K./abroad (Channel Six).
  2. Thanks! Can I assume when a worker has the negative match-chemistry is it also relatively minor? (For some reason, one of my top workers hates almost every match I put him in, and I can't figure out why. It's like he hates his job. On the other hand, a female worker who is very conservative just loves to do eye-candy matches. Did NOT see that coming.)
  3. Is there something intrinsic to a worker's personality that determines what matches they have chemistry for? For example, on the dirt sheet I often get the note "(+) So-and-so got a bonus for chemistry (motivation)". Meaning, I'm supposing, that they were personally invested in the match ... What determines that factor?

  5. Not exactly. It uses a lot but some I've seen worked for my child company.

We've had no drop in company pop, our attendances haven't suffered and Austin already has the pop back that he initially lost when the scandal broke. The company is still making money hand over fist, and in March we actually made MORE than February, even though Austin has been toxic since mid-February.<p> </p><p> So in effect, absolutely nothing has happened. I managed to get high pop in Mexico and U.K. (with nice spillover in mid-South, Southwest, and Puerto Rico in the USA). So to get ot international I've been doing one ppv in those areas and one at home in Canada to maintain my National credentials. (NOTBPW is right behind me). Any tips welcomed at this point.</p>

Weekly events will make WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more money than your TV show too. Honestly, you could have 7 weeklies a week and be good. The only thing is having too many PPVs close to each other will lower your buyrates. I run 2 a month but I'm not sure if I'm risking my buyrate or not. Doesn't really say how frequent is too frequent.</div></blockquote><p> I managed to get popularity in other regions. So my second monthly event goes "out of town" to either Mexico or U.K. where I'm only a grade below my home region (Canada). I figure even if two monthly events is too much, spreading out the geography should help.</p>

  12. :(My main conflict came not from sharing the talent pool with AAA, but NOTBW poaching my best workers. Foxxy Larue just recently. And it's not like i can ever get their cast-offs to refill my top tier because USPW signs them as soon as the Canadians are done.

I follow smaller promotions in my area all the time. Some have gotten fancy screens and portray things on it. But the old school snatching the mic from the announcers to tell your side of it hasn't gone away. They'll make challenges, talk trash on their opponents, etc. Great stuff.</p>

Seems to be a certain age this happens to them at. Because auto-push carried them from mid-card to main event eventually anyway.</p>
  16. <p>I notice some of my workers have alternate profile pictures. Those ones often come with a different name. I think hard restrictions on areas a worker can work in are completely unrealistic anyway. If you look at the women's scene as it's developed over the last 15 years, that becomes obvious. SHIMMER is not a National+ sized promotion but they've convinced several "Japan Only" workers to pony up for that work visa to come work their shows. And NOT as headliners either. Sure, there were some all-time greats (Manami Toyota and Mayumi Ozaki appearing for Chikara) but Wesna Busic came to work in the US and no one had ever heard of her, really (outside of some European fans). <p> </p><p> I turn restricted areas off because it does the women a grave disservice otherwise. There are only a few promotions in the C-Verse who even have women's divisions (all but one are in North America) and only three women's only promotions (two of them US based, and they almost never get big enough to sign foreign talent if CPU controlled). The only way Aud typically gets signed is if EWA loses someone (which they typically do since many of my first signings upon hitting Cult include Thea Davis, Laura McKenna, and/or Zofia Jankovic).</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Don't forget Zen, with their "integrated" division. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> When it comes to women workers you really do need to turn the restricted areas off. And since there are so little competition from the AI what I do is leave it on 'semi' until I sign somebody, then turn it back.</p>
  19. Seems to me a QAW owner really needs to jump on Los Deportes Hoy. You won't get money out of it, but it'll spread your popularity to Mexico which will eat up QAW's product and keep asking for more. I signed with Los Deportes as soon as I could and eventually started selling out bigger venues in Mexico than USA (but, USA caught up after awhile especially in areas Deportes covers).
  20. Seems to me it's not what you get, it's what happens to the losers (i.e. popularity loss). It's the only way to "attack" rival companies without risk.

I can live with it though, was just curious as my pop in USA and Mexico are growing fast!</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> Only thing I can think of now to consider is your product and regional appetite. You know where you check regions and find out "mainstream" is highly popular in USA but "traditional" is more popular in Canada? Could have something to do with that swimming upstream feeling. Or why it is rising faster in other areas if they have a bigger appetite for your product type. </p><p> </p><p> I have a lot of shows, too. But one show is specifically for outside my home region (which is Canada) because my TV signal reaches outside it (to British Isles). I hope that keeps me from over saturating my home region.
