  1. What is the best broadcaster type for a 'B' Show? ('A' Show and Events being on Commercial and PPV respectively)
  2. I don't know about turning into a positive influence, but I have had a few negative influences turn neutral. It was the locker room leader that did it. The worker that was a negative influence did a 'bad thing' and was brought before their wrestlers' courtroom with the locker room leader as the judge. When that leader fixed it, the negative influence improved enough to be a neutral influence. Not on their character sheet (which still said "usually a bad influence"). But on my backstage page. I guess if that same worker keeps getting brought into the courtroom they could turn positive. But eventually they'll be neutral and stop making messes before that.
  3. I used to put my Storyline matches just before my main event but at some point I started overcooking the crowd. so last few months I've been using either a Calm the Crowd or a Eye-Candy match. (Calm the Crowd sometimes gets an 'A' but usually a B+, eye-candy always a 'B').

Is that pulling down my matches? (I wasn't really confident doing them. This is only like my third save game. First two scratched. )</p>

(Nothing against cole)</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Well ok. </p><p> It's only that he is my only negative dirt sheet note, in a match where both workers gave an A* performance, but the final rating was only B+. </p><p> It's making me think that my announcer is dragging what should be an A* match down to the Bs ranges.</p>
  6. <p>:confused:C-Verse: </p><p> I've got Peter Michaels for my announcer. He has a 'B' for Announcing. But I keep getting dirt sheet notes telling me I need a better Announcer. What gives?</p>
  7. My TV show is coming up soon for re-negotiation. I was wondering what is better for a weekly show? A subscription network, or a commercial network? (I can choose either Netstream or C.A.N.N.)

  9. <p>How 'strict' is 'strict storylines'? </p><p> I usually run about 6-7 and most are B+ to A*. But I have 'strict storylines' set to off and use mainly freestyle angles. I am worried if I turn on strictness then I will have to follow some sort of angle order that I cannot figure out.</p>

I once ran a two-player game by myself with two regional companies (one USA, one Japan) and traded talent all day long. as a regional company on both ends I am quite sure I did not have written contracts.</p>
  11. Does anyone use Custom setting for merch? Any tips? It seems like there is a lot of game material to go through there and honestly I haven't even looked past the "whoa, you can make hats?!" point before I felt overwhelmed. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

This depends on their morale, which in only a month will not likely be high enough. </p><p> </p><p> I find retirements are not set into stone for exact dates usually. So the next game they will be altered within whatever variance is established on their data page.</p><p> </p><p> P.S. Great avatar! Bull Nakano is awesome.</p>

  14. I think their current morale level is a factor. Why would anyone stay on their job if they hate it, right?
  15. I signed one once, but I'm pretty sure they were on excursion. I'll find out in another year game-time.
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Hazemore" data-cite="Hazemore" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>how would you talk to them? Or at least, how would u have talked to them in earlier games?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It's automatic. When someone who you have under contract, any contract as I have had the chance with my trainers in development contracts as well as people under PPAs , announces they are "going" to retire in three months you will get an option in your office to talk to them. I don't know all the details the game uses for this roll but they decide there and then if they will turn in their three month notice or stay longer.</p>
  17. <p>What is a good length for matches?</p><p> </p><p> I just did a 16 minute match (Techincal Masterclass, required for the show). One performance was a B+, with the other an A*. There was only one negative comment on the dirt sheet and that was that the match length was too short. So the overall match rating was a 'B'. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

You can even check other regions to see how other battles are doing.</p>

Maybe people don't care enough about either worker to fuss about it.</p>

A better way to handle it is doing it Custom imo. You'll have to be interested in this part of managing the game however as you have to stay on top of it (like stopping production of past workers yourself).<p> </p><p> With custom I basically set it so I have a lot of product for babyface main eventers, a little less for midcard faces and main event heels, low for midcard heels and then basically none for bottom of the card folks and non-wrestlers.</p><p> </p><p> So it's a little more accurate thanthe Just in-time and more conservative than the Optimistic settings.</p></div></blockquote><p> I've always wanted to customise my merch. But I don't use faces/heels. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

If a wrestler has been out of work for a while you can get them for lower, but at some point they are going to ask for a raise at some point. For non-wrestlers, talent plays something of an effect too, but it's pretty much the same requirements. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I dunno, I made a guy on my first save and he was like A on everything. Microphone, Colour, Referee. All the non-ring skills. I didn't know how hard it would be to find talent for that stuff in Australia (where I wanted to start my first game). Right off the bat he was costing me over 20k a month. <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  23. So as a worker does angles with those who have higher x skills (x = microphone, acting, etc.) their own x skill goes up at a higher rate. Does this include their managers? Like, if I pair a worker with minimal mic skills with a manager who has great mic skills will the first one's go up the more I use him or do I need to still add both the active wrestler and their manager to get that benefit?
  24. Thanks, guys. That is unfortunate about my main event guy. He gets a 'A' on his ring performances, but I can't ever seem to get him to 'A*' level even though his co-worker gets one and that may be why. That's a major bummer about my B-show getting stuck to my monthly event. I was hoping I could send them off like the second unit of a movie production crew. (I've got more than enough locker room leaders to trust a small troupe on their own for a week or so.)
