Whenever someone from a wrestling family has a baby I like to add that child to the database, with them debuting at 18 years old. Right now the only ones I can remember adding are Tracy Brendon and Joshua Taylor's daughter and Cameron Vessey and Jamie Quinne's daughter. There might be more but I can't remember them right now

This is an incredible idea! Although I'd never play a game long enough for it to come into effect, this is a brilliant idea!

I might start doing that for things like next big thing etc as well.

(I generally make sure that none of the major companies go bankrupt in that time -- providing cash infusions as needed.)

This is a good idea. There’s been quite a few real world mods which have cool wrestlers set to debut in the future that I’ve wanted to play. But never thought of of simming to the point I want to start.

TEW allows for the ultimate way to disconnect from the real world for a while and allow some creative juices to flow, so if it makes sense in my head then it’s fine. It’s like a rule for myself that things have gotta make sense to me and I do also usually book some shows before bed and fall asleep imaging it all playing out. That’s why I love this game. Who says you need 3D graphics when you got an imagination, huh. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I’m the same. Providing my mind it works then I don’t mind. I could book Bray Wyatt to cut a 20 minute promo on The Undertaker carrying out a mock funeral or something. I play it out in my mind then actually booking the show I’ll just have wyatt promo on taker as the description as I don’t need to have all the detail there. The real detail is in my mind!

 5. When I start a game I tend to butcher the roster and fire anyone I don’t like it have no interest in pushing. Then I sign guys on 3 month jobber contract. Essentially they must have decent in ring skills and will pretty much make up my lower card guys and below and exclusively there to lose to people. Three months tends to be the sweet spot that they won’t get really unhappy and ask to leave if they are getting beaten a couple of times a week!

I'd love to see it.

I’ll have a look. I stopped using it as did feel like cheating. And also spent so much time doing it it became a bit of a chore. Adding in each wrestlers rating in a match meant it took ages to run just one show. But I might have some different versions of it. It was quite a delicate sheet as there was so many different formulas and formatting that any changes or bits I added tended to throw it off! Yes I am quite sad and enjoy mucking about in excel a fair amount!!

One thing was I applied for a job that required good excel skills so used it as a chance to brush up on my excel skills. I got the job but the tew spreadsheet was about a billion times more advanced than I ever did in that job!!

Well this got me!! You should really consider renaming this thread after that gem!!

Things I do playing TEW that I think no one else does... Well, I'm pretty sure other people do this, but for me, it's Spreadsheet City!! Especially when I book a diary!! I need to know who my Main Eventers are, and their popularity, and my tag teams. My Champions. Storylines. Everything. It's ALL information that's available within the game, but for some reason, I make a spreadsheet to track it <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Best part of the interviews in my head is I’m massively honest and willing to dish the dirt on everyone. I’d be the best interview ever!

I love spreadsheets as well. I spent about 6 months making one for tew 16 that auto updated with conditional formating, it highlighted workers best category to have angles on etc. I would add in each wrestlers match rating to then get an average and show their most recent five matches to see who was improving. So I could get an idea who’d get the job done in the ring. In the end it took over a bit too much. It was almost like a full in chest sheet so made playing pretty boring!

 8. Just quirky ways you play the game or things you always do you think no one else does. I’ll start I offer contracts with no added perks at all. If someone wants creative control or whatever it’s a no. If they don’t want to work B shows then I’d rather give them more cash to do what ever I want. Also I’m 34 years of age, but when I’m on the toilet I’ll carry out pretend interviews in my head as my user character. Sad I know!

I downloaded a huge storyline mod and went through it but couldn't come up with any starting storylines. Anybody have any ideas on some good ones to check out? Thanks

I’d go with the most basic stuff of arguing over a valet, or maybe just the whole I’m better than you stuff.

 10. I actually like this. I wanted to avoid anything like LOD 2.0. But the idea of a trio like that works well. I especially like the mastodon name! Thanks.
 11. In the 98 art of war mod I’ve just lost Hawk for 9 months to rehab. I’ve found that Animal has excellent chemistry with Vader. Any ideas for a name for them.
 12. Playing the art of war mod set in 1998. I’m trying to clean the wwe locker room up. So abyone getting popped for hard drugs or steroids is getting suspended and sent to rehab. Have the Legion Of Doom and obviously Hawk got done for hard drugs. He’s in rehab for 8 months. In the mean time I’ve discovered Animal and Vader have excellent chemistry as a team. Any ideas for a name?

I'm booking my self made Fed's PPV and I have a question about vacating a title. Heather Vendetta and Heidi Brooks are my reigning womens world tag champs. They've made 6 or 7 defenses before Heather Vendetta gets a spinal column injury and is set to miss 10 months. Vendetta was having a banner year and had won a couple titles and tourneys that I had run - figured she was working up to a World title run.
1. This is my first encounter with this type of injury in my Fed. It sounds pretty serious, do the workers recover well from this or are their sizeable penalties to their stats after this?

2. Since she is going to miss so much time, I wanted to put the title on another team. Does it make a difference if I vacate the title or just have two teams face each other for it, with the winner taking the title?

If the teams can face each other does that mean she can still wrestle despite her injury? You could try and just protect her for the time of the injury.

Also I believe the difference is if you vacate the title the history will show itveaa vacated in the title history rather than one reign to the next. What I’ve done when I had a similar issue is had a “match” as an angle. So basically in the angle it lasted the length of a match wth the injured wrestlers team losing the belts as you can have a title change in an angle.

The popularity gain on B shows is miniscule.

My B show is normally anchored by a couple of veterans who then in turn are pretty much there to help the rookies improve. So I try and keep a low level belt on the show. Veteran has it. Rookie chases. If they rookie is good enough they might win the strap and lose it to a different veteran then be transitioned to the main show. If the rookie doesn’t progress as I hoped then they get moved on and someone else gets a chance. I’ve found it a fairly decent way of building stars. Plus normally keeps someone in their twilight fairly happy as they lick up a fair few victories.

Scythe I look at as a younger Taker in the same vain as a Skull.

I’ve always booked Skull as Taker Sting merger. So the sort of hanging around in the rafters Sting elements. But in the ring more of an old skool Taker being hard to knock off his feet. Not feeling pain etc. Also I’ve alqaya tried to give him story lines that don’t involve the title. So giving him a different reason to feud with someone.

 21. If you are using a real world mod I would guess there aren’t any free random pics in the picture pack to assign to new wrestlers.
 22. Top stuff!! Basically with SWF immediately it’s about pushing Bruce to get the last out of his pop. Then short term it about pushing Valiant to be the next big baby face. Then long term it’s tsking some of these youngsters and making them great. Overall I’m enjoying it thus far!

Literally everything being superficial and based on looks!

 24. Cool. Currently he's a lower mid. But I don't want to give him too much of a push if he's going to be a mega pain in the back side!
 25. So I've got a guy whose rated my NBT, but at 26 years old he's already a very negative influence. Is there anyway I can turn him around, or am I resigned to dealing with his rubbish or booting him?
