Even as like a 7 year old kid he seemed to me like a bit of a crazy old man. I never got into him really. I guess if I was a bit older I might have appreciated him a bit more. However in a 1991 WWF he is a great hand to have on the roster. He's got good in ring skills and a whole lot popularity to put others over. So starting this diary I've had to put my own feelings of him aside and see his positives!</p>
  2. Seeing as I put the results up for this save on here and Facebook I don’t want to give too much away. But I’ve just signed someone popular outside for the US that think I could work an angle around.

  8. Im playing a 1991 WWF save. At the moment the ic title is doing a good job for the upp at mid card and top end mid card guys. But I'd like to introduce a title for lower mid card guys to go for. Any suggestions?
  9. Thanks for the support! I’m actually finding writing the results up on here is motivating me much more to play so enjoying this. Is started the rumble results now which is a bit of a daunting one compared to most sets of results. But I can’t wait to get it done as got some very exciting stuff coming up after it. One storyline in particular I cannot to get writing the debut promo for!
  10. I'm the same, I read loads on here but don't always keep up to the latest show. So feels a bit weird if you comment about something they wrote weeks ago!
  11. You really are doing a great job with this. I try to only skin read as I don't want to steal ideas for my own 91 diary. But what I have read you are doing a great job.
  12. So I was hoping to get a few people more involved with feedback and predictions. I've been rattling through the results but will have predictions for the Royal Rumble up soon. But the top three predictors up to wrestlemania will get the chance to pick who will be in the titles matches for the next big four ppv. 1 - Will get to choose the challenger for the world title 2 - Will get to choose the challenger for the international title 3 - Will get to choose the challenger for the tag titles Hopefully a few people will get involved and get a chance to see someone they are keen on get a push for a big ppv.
  13. I’ve always thought this is silly. If two guys don’t click I think you should be dinged as that doesn’t change. What I would say perhaps the severity of the penalty should lessen the kore men involved. If for example it’s a 30 man rumble the chances of these two awkward pair meeting is fairly slim.
  14. I've had a major tweak with the layout and style of this now. If anyone is reading this I'd love to know your thoughts and if you prefer it at all? I've tried to go a bit more in depth with the promos.

  16. I've got everything booked now to the Rumble. Although writing up the results for that is a bit harder worked, so hoping to get everything up there soon.
  17. Been reading through this today and thoroughly enjoying it<span class="ipsEmoji">👍</span>

That's my approach when it came to writing matches. Moves are the fluff. Nice for imagery. However if you focus on them too much the write-up gets longer and longer and longer and no one has time for that. So I like brevity. I'm trying to explain tactics and story and 'why' as opposed to 'what'.<p> </p><p> I also embrace the repetition. John Cena's comeback is the same every time, so why wouldn't Jack Decolt's. He goes berserk with right hands and shoulder tackles before mounting (insert villain's name) in the corner and Punching! Him! In! The! Face! It can gives thing a rhythm and allow readers to skim while getting the jist of what's happening. After a few episodes they don't have to parse out the moves, they just recognize it as "Jack's winning now, whatever he did to turn the tide was probably important".</p><p> </p><p> I also rigidly follow the typical match structure. Shine. Heat. Comeback. Finish. It helps that I usually wrote sports entertainment promotions where the matches would be that formulaic and simple.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm currently writing a 91 diary which seems to be unpopular as no one is commenting <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> on it, but I'm enjoying it and does make me more motivated to play. I'm still getting the structure for match writing down. But my plan is TV tapings the match write ups are short and I'm trying to now focus more on the promos as thats building my stories. Then when it comes to PPV's I'm giving more detail to the matches as think thats like the blow off to what has built towards. Still I'm not planning on describing move by move as quite frankly that would take an age. And no one really wants a ten page essay on the Nasty Boys doing a Pit Stop to someone.</p>
