Directly? Yes, that's correct. But a product that makes the High Flying skill less effective, for instance, is more likely going to affect a High Flier or a Cruiserweight than a Brawler or Entertainer.

Assuming there's no language barrier, why not just positive meddle some folks into being friends with him?

So, I've been playing CGC, getting on the cusp at breaking through to National (75 pop across Canada), and NOTBPW swoops in and poaches 2/3 of my main event scene, including Ricky, Christian, Thrill Seeker, and reigning World Champion Gargantuan. Arrgh. Huge flipping contracts, too, well out of my range to compete with.
-
Thanks. Anyway, I've found some luck hiring Eguchi the Amazing (excellent comedy jobber) and Stunner Sayaki.
Stay away from Arthur Dexter Bradley, though. You'll be tempted because he's related to guys on the roster, but in my experience he keeps showing up high as a kite.
Who does everyone bring in to bolster up the tag team division?

The only way I know of is to edit the database before starting a game. As far as I know, you can't change home regions during a game.

-
I think with the predictions about the C-Verse, particularly with TCW, a lot of people are forgetting that loyalty to companies is going to be more prevalent. Someone brought up in the TCW system is, most likely, less inclined to run to a big money offer from USPW.
-
They're so reliant on aging girls though, and their product is so bland compared to QAWs. Unless they unearth some new young talent they could be a company that's surprisingly closed.
Well, new female talent is kind of AAA'S bag. QAW doesn't have a dojo, and 5SSW closed theirs.
-

Yeah, PSW is a bad example. By contrast, you can get to Cult with QAW in roughly two years, if you do weekly shows or more, and then you qualify for Canal Dos as long as you can meet the production requirements.

And that's for American companies. OLLIE and 5SSW can both get on TV right out of the gate, and you can easily take either one to Cult status in less than a year.

-
Quick question- what's the best way to copy a database? Like, I want a second version of the Cornellverse that I can spindle and mutilate while having the main one for less experimental C-Verse sessions.
-

Admittedly, there were already some elements of this. Say you're playing CZCW, and you want to expand into Mexico. The Wild Cats might be over, but most of your guys are probably lacking in pop, so you use the COTT talent trade to bring in Gino, Nicholas Lopez, or Hijo del Mephisto, and you'll probably have a good show in Mexico if you book it right.

Likewise, I'm playing SWF, and I just stole Velocidad from SOTBPW. You want your midcarders to put him over, they're more likely to do so without fuss in Mexico.

-

To use an example, Hiroshi Tanahashi is the "Ace" of NJPW (though a strong case can be made for Okada and others, but for our purposes we'll go with Tanahashi). Now, you want him on every show, because he's THE guy in Japan. However, you just got a TV deal in the U.S., so you bring in someone like Chris Jericho.

Same deal with the NWA. Ric Flair was "The Man". When he went to Memphis, he wrestled Lawler. When he went to Texas, he wrestled a Von Erich or Terry Funk. He'd go up against the top guy of whatever territory he was in.

If you have the right figurehead, the putting them against the top regional guys is only going to make everyone look better.

-
Okay, I've been playing this again (as "Increase Cult to National" is one of the two size related achievements I've yet to... uh... achieve), and while reading the Stable description for Def-Realm, I see a group named "The Red Guild" mentioned, but poking around, I could find nothing else on this group. Anyone know anything?

(I mean, USPW ended up with Trent Shaffer... but that still feels like a weird departure for them.)

USPW? Maybe, maybe not. But SWF? Yeah, they've got quite a few guys on middleweight and under who can fly around either at the top or getting ready to move up there. Angry Gilmore, the Bumfholes, the Awesomeness, Mikey Lau... And then you have guys a little further down or in RIPW who can easily get there as well- Jimmy Hernandez, Steven Parker, Spencer Spade, High Flyin' Hawaiian....

So, what separates someone who is considered Decent from someone who is considered Good at a skill? For instance, I could have 2 workers who have a 64 in Brawling, but only one will be considered a Good Brawler.

Maybe Editing relationships so that your company's own is friends with all the other companies' owners?
-
SWF, aside from their retired titles, has a ton of title renders ready to go.
Jessie usually autopushes as an authority figure.
-
Hey, was Bret Hart vs British Bulldog at Wembley Stadium for the World title? Was AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels vs Samoa Joe at Unbreakable for the World title? No, sir!
-
So, who, if anyone, do you hire as developmental trainers for RIPW?
