  1. It's also perfectly normal to lose interest in something, especially if it, assuming it being Summerslam and a big show, had some endings to feuds. I recently played a 2 and a half year game, one of my longest on a weekly schedule, and just ended a two year long world title reign, and just stopped playing. I don't think it's a coincidence that I lost interest in something that I created a natural end to.
  2. Click Auto Renewals in the main office screen. You can also do it in the Roster screen. But to answer your question about setting it on the negotiations, no.
  3. This isn't a critique on the diary or you as a writer, but a critique on a fake fake wrestling promotion, but there's something seriously screwed up with a promotion saying "Here's an insane main event for you-- could be 12 minutes, could be 30 minutes, could be 3 minutes, bah gawd we hope there's enough time to get a finish"
  4. The license is in both your game files and in an email. Have you checked you email?
  5. Can't wait to see more of this. I did a 2.5 year save with DIASPORA and only stopped playing a few weeks back-- may get back into it.
  6. No there's pretty much no resources for getting into it. Maybe the best thing you could do is going to all the other diary forums and checking out some of the best ones. The only true way of getting into it is by spending the time checking out some of the rosters and top talent bios, and just accepting the fact that you'll be confused and won't know how to handle your roster for a couple months (in game). The blank slate of not knowing who these people are is the main draw of playing it. It's something you're going to have to embrace if you really want to play the Cornellverse. However there is a downside. The biggest barrier of entry in my opinion are the default pictures. If you wanted a resource for looking up people in the Cornellverse, then you should also think about using the Re-Render thread for fixing the look of the game. Like, literally, any time you see a busted picture, just click Search This Thread in the Re-Render thread. Also, not intending to cause decision paralysis here, but I think the Thunderverse does a better job at creating lore. In my opinion, the world is a bit more vibrant and the variety is stronger. But it doesn't have the same following, obviously.
  7. How many people put "[Promotion Acronym]: ..." in the storyline name because Adam uses it in the Cornellverse for organizing starting storylines, even though there's no good reason to in-game?
  8. The match aim requirements make the game more like a puzzle game to me.
  9. Why a touring company? The concept of touring companies are very impractical in the game. It's basically the same as manually booking house shows, or booking two B-shows as your main show. The return on investment is really low. Why not just book TCW and SWF like two companies under your control, as normal?
  10. I thought popularity caps would go over and then go back down to the cap. Is that not the case anymore? There's one worker in my company that has been stuck at 66 (sometimes 65) for, no joke, two years. Edit: Just tested by having him beat the top guy in the company (85 pop) and advancing to the next month, and he's not capped (at now 71 pop). So bizarre he's been the same popularity for so long.
  11. Yes, an industry where oiled up men roll around half naked does favor attractive people.
  12. I really respect the work you put into this. I never knew that PCs were so viable in the game. I barely recognize their existence. However, I think it should be noted before people stan tour shows, you're basically having to book twice as many shows as normal, for very rarely any benefit to your popularity, and that gets very annoying after a while.
  13. What do you mean you can't change the search? Do you mean you're right clicking the Search button to reset the filters? Because the default is showing Active teams, so you would need to click Search and change the team type.
  14. ... Yes. ... They did. ... They literally said what-- ahem-- crownsy said that nobody said. I made a post about it. The point of that post was that speculating that anyone of a marginalized group is hired to "check boxes" is wrong and severely damaging, not only to that specific person but in general. They recognized it was bad and they edited it out.
  15. Hey, clownsy, here's what happened: Jaysin said something. I made a post saying that was wrong. He recognized it, apologized, and edited it out. Stop. Seriously.
  16. You don't understand what was originally said and I'm not going to get into it out of respect for Jaysin.
  17. Pretty sure their "Currently employed by" section in their profile is in order of priority.
  18. Press their yellow name in the Roster screen or "Is considered... by the fans."
  19. Yeah that's totally fair. It's all good, man.
