ubernoob
Garnett and Kobe or something like that Im assuming.
SHaynes23
Just be glad that Kobe can't demand a trade off of a fantasy team.
masterded
So how is the draft going? (wishes he could be drafting.)
nZane
Well, MJD is apparently getting screwed by the drafting software. Other than that, it's progressing nicely
nZane
Draft's over and rosters are up, for anyone who couldn't access it (Masterded). With the exception of MJD, everything else seems to have gone pretty smoothly.
mjdgoldeneye
As always... Screw Java! I don't even drink coffee... Well, Trading is open for business. I'll trade any of my Guards ('cept Kobe) for a pretty good PF (or C, or other eligible guard, but preferably PF).
masterded
Sees team and dies a little on the inside.
mjdgoldeneye
I actually didn't fare as horribly as I expected. McDyess, my PF, has tons of points in the non-scoring stats and a good FT%... Still, looking for a trade! EDIT: That could be a strategy... Sacrifice the Points stat and go for the technical stuff...!
nZane
Stupid question for you fantasy basketball veterans: I was playing around in Yahoo and it appears that you can set your lineup for individual days, as opposed to setting it for just one week. Is this the traditional way of doing things? Obviously there'd be drawbacks (FG%, FT% could go down, TO's up). Any advice?

It allows you to sit players who aren't playing for the night and bring in people that are. Kind of gives you the illusion of having bench players. SHaynes23
Just went and edited my trading block, you can see it from the main page of the league. I'll be open to offers for those three players, and others if the offer is good enough.
mjdgoldeneye
nZane! Confirm my trade! I want mah playas!
nZane
I'm trying to figure out how to do that. I thought the trade went through unless there was a protest? EDIT: Looking at the commissioner tools, I think there's a two day period for managers to protest the trade, so it won't be finalized until then. Could be wrong, though... SHaynes23
Yeah, it's two days, and if there aren't protests then it goes through. Keeps people from paying somebody in leagues where people who know each other for ridiculous trades.
mjdgoldeneye
You can go to your team (or my team...?) and it should say there is a pending trade. You can click on "details" and let it go through. Obviously, it seems more democratic to allow people to veto it, but you can se that the trade is far from an attempt at throwhing the game balance off... I'm just asking because I may forget to update stuff... SHaynes23
Just wait 48 hours from when the trade was made, that's how it works in every other league I'm in.
SHaynes23
I just looked at the trade and it says it will be reflected on Wednesday's rosters, so maybe it takes until then to have it go through.

The trade should be processed/accepted tomorrow, however, the teams won't officially have the players on their rosters until the following day. bookerman
I've got big men to spare. Looking for assists mainly. Anyone is available in the right deal.
SHaynes23
Well, it starts tonight. Nothing like starting the season with two guys who are questionable in the first game and another who is suspended for the first two.....but anyways, good luck to everyone and let's have a fun season. mjdgoldeneye
My team is sad, apparently... Either way: TRADE OFFER NOTICE I need a SF, so I'm willing to trade a PG or C for one. I want a starter, or at the very minimum, a bench guy who plays (only for another non starter).
