A Brother vs. Sister match. In your years in the sport, Sam, have you ever seen a match like this?”</em></p><p><em> </em><em><strong>Sam Strong</strong></em><em> “Can’t say that I have. We haven’t seen Victoria fight in the Frontier Combat Kingdom yet, but take it from me, she’s as much of a Stone as their older brother Jeremy. Their styles are practically identical; she’s a very intelligent fighter who knows how to isolate a body part. She also likes to use her size and power to overwhelm her usually smaller opponents with suplexes... She may have some trouble doing that with Edd.”</em></p><p><em> </em><em><strong>Jerry Eisen</strong></em><em> “Edd has long since been the black sheep of the Stone family, but apparently his recent antics in the Frontier Combat Kingdom, and his newfound partnership with Steve DeColt, have forced Victoria Stone to request this match.”</em></p><p> </p><p> The siblings test each other early. Edd is stronger, faster and more agile, scoring with arm drags, ranas and purely decorative springboards, before celebrating with some DeColt-style flexing, turning his back on his sister. Mistake. Victoria suplexes Edd to the mat and starts twisting and wrenching at his leg. Edd’s Stone-Instinct kicks in, but Victoria’s ground game is too good. Edd’s Party Animal Instinct kicks in. He grabs a handful of Victoria’s boob, and when she releases the hold in shock, he practically decapitates her with the <em>Edd-Reneline Shot (Super Kick)</em>.</p><p> </p><p> Edd freezes, partly because he just felt up his sister, partly because he just kicked her in the face. He doesn’t have long to dwell on it, because the resilient Victoria is back to her feet. Limping only slightly from the damage to his leg, Edd kicks things into high gear, complete with ridiculous springboards, nonsensical flips and ludicrous cartwheels. He seems more focused on showing off than dealing damage. Victoria telegraphs a leapfrog with an atomic drop, takes him down with a dragon screw legwhip, and keeps working over the knee. </p><p> </p><p> The siblings go back and forth. Edd uses his strength and agility to get the upper hand, but Victoria’s intellect and experience keeps taking him down, focusing on her brother’s leg. Edd goes for the <em>Party’s Over (Seated Faceplant)</em> but Victoria sweeps his legs and slingshots him into the turnbuckles. She goes for the <em>Delorean Driver (Northern Light’s Bomb)</em> but Edd blocks it with sheer physicality. Edd grabs a headlock and calls for the DeColt Stampede <em>(Running Bulldog)</em> but Victoria leverages him up for a knee-breaker. She goes for a second, but Edd counters into a hurancanranna. </p><p> </p><p> Utterly exhausted and heavily limping, Edd clambers up top, pauses to dance, and launches into the air with the <em>Shooting Star Legdrop</em>. Victoria was playing possum. She easily rolls aside, allowing Edd to crash to the mat. She quickly locks in the <em>Stone Ankle Stretch (Ankle Lock)</em>, grapevine the leg right in the middle of the ring. In tremendous pain and lacking the energy to get to the ropes, Edd taps.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>YOUR WINNER… VICTORIA STONE (22:42)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong><em>Sam Strong</em></strong><em> “Victoria just fought a smarter fight. Referee Sam Sparrow eventually forces Lead Belly into his corner, allowing Danger to throw a handful of salt into Grease Hogg’s eyes.</p><p> </p><p> Team Deathstrike work over the blinded white boy, Akinori doing the bulk of the work as Danger barks orders and cackles, but Hogg fights back in a drunken frenzy and makes the tag. Lead Belly overpowers his opponents, tossing them across the ring with ease. Akinori tries a shoulder tackle but bounces off of the giant. Eventually, Catherine Quine appears at the top of the ramp, wearing a respectable pant-suit, holding a microphone.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>CATHERINE QUINE</p><p> I have some bad news. Unfortunately, during last night’s training session,</p><p> I fractured my fifth metatarsal, so I won’t be able to compete tonight. I’m</p><p> sure my scheduled opponents will struggle to comprehend this. After all,</p><p> their idea of preparing for a match is to put on make-up and buy a push-up</p><p> bra, but I am a real fighter. I train like a real fighter, and when you train as</p><p> hard as I do, sometimes accidents happen. Unlike any of the painted </p><p> whores in that ring I’m not going to pout or cry or ask for pity from all of</p><p> you male chauvinist pigs in the crowd. I am just going to join Jerry Eisen</p><p> and Sam Strong on commentary with my head held high, because the</p><p> fact that I’m even walking right now is a true testament to how tough I am.</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Sam Strong</strong></em><em> “Fifth metatarsal, huh?”</em></p><p><em> </em><em><strong>Catherine Quine</strong></em><em> “What? Shut up!”</em></p><p><em> </em><em><strong>Jerry Eisen</strong></em><em> “I guess this will be a three-way match, then.”</em></p><p> </p><p> Nightshade slinks out of the ring and Melody and J-Ro go move for move, arm drag for arm drag, rana for rana, in a lightning fast game of anything-you-can-do-I-can-do-better. J-Ro monkey flips her, but Melody lands on her feet and scores a somersault legdrop. Nightshade practically glides up behind Melody and dropkicks her in the small of the back. The Ring Waif stalks her prey with an almost ethereal grace, working her over with a variety of innovative backbreakers before transitioning into smooth ground work, still focussing on Melody’s lower back. </p><p> </p><p> J-Ro bursts into action, keeping Nightshade off-balance with unorthodox lucha-style rolls and flying head-scissors, until she gets caught with a massive Tilt-o-Whirl Backbreaker. Nightshade locks in the Scorpion Deathlock, but before Rodriguez can tap, Melody hits the <em>Melody Maker (Rocker Dropper)</em> on Nightshade to break the hold.</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Catherine Quine</strong></em><em> “You know what, I’m suddenly feeling better.”</em></p><p> </p><p> Showing no signs of injury, Catherine Quine hits the ring, spearing Melody out of her boots and making the cover. 1... 2... Kick Out! The Cat can’t believe it. She covers Nightshade 1...2...Kick Out! She covers Joanne Rodriguez 1... 2... Kick Out!</p><p> </p><p> Panicking, Catherine Quine starts beating down her foes with stomps and palm strikes, but can’t keep all three under control. She helps Nightshade to her feet, offering an alliance. She holds Melody steady for Nightshade’s Roundhouse Kick, but Melody does the splits under it and The Cat gets clobbered instead. Melody clotheslines Nightshade out, back body drops a charging J-Ro over the rope and hits the <em>Melody Maker</em> on Catherine Quine for the win.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>YOUR WINNER... He goes for <em>Gunslinger’s Revenge (Cutter)</em> but DaLay powers him up and throws him across the ring. Tags on both sides. Maverick tries to take the fight to ground, but Gumble wriggles free of his grasp and strikes out with a series of vicious knees. Adrian Garcia climbs onto the apron, distracting Gumble long enough for Maverick to connect with a Shoulder Stunner.</p><p> </p><p> Emotionless, Maverick clinically dissects his arm while DaLay haphazardly throws his weight around. Roaring with laughter, the Giant tries a splash from the second rope, but Gumble rolls aside. He painstakingly crawls towards his corner, but Maverick cuts him off with a hammerlock-assisted body slam... and another... He goes for a third, but Gumble wriggles free, plants him with a Reverse DDT, and makes the tag!</p><p> </p><p> Harry Allen runs wild. Dropkick to DaLay. DDT to Maverick. Enziguri to DaLay. Swinging Neckbreaker to Maverick. He tries the Gunslinger’s Revenge on DaLay, but again the Giant overpowers him and hurls him across the ring. Gumble springboards in and dropkicks the Giant in the face. All Hell breaks loose!</p><p> </p><p> The Young Guns take control with superior teamwork and seasoned double team moves. Panicking, Adrian Garcia climbs onto the apron, but Chitose yanks him down and kicks him in the face. Maverick grabs her by the hair, but Harry wipes him out with a suicide dive. Meanwhile, in the ring, DaLay catches Gumble off of a high cross and sets him up for the <em>DaLay Down (Belly-to-Belly Piledriver)</em> Harry makes the save with an enziguri. He goes for the <em>Stone’s Throw (Exploder Suplex)</em> but as he puts weight on his knee, he falters for just a moment, giving Blood enough of an opening to stomp his way free and take him down with a low dropkick. Blood rips the brace off of Stone’s knee and goes to work on the injured limb, angrily wrenching it in a thousand different ways, but no matter what submission Blood tries, Jeremy won’t quit. Well now, time for an update.

The Frontier Combat Kingdom is now a 3-time DOTM winner. Or a one-time depending on your opinions on draws. I'm not a fan myself, but since mistaken has bestowed on me the title of "King of Ties" it's feeling a lot more special. Either way, thanks to everyone to voted for me or considered voting for me. I thought I may have lost a good deal of my readership with my constant hiatus' but apparently I've still got enough of you left to keep up my award winning streak.

The breaks are unavoidable. While I enjoy and can handle writing what accounts for about 30 minutes of television every week, it takes a lot of time. At this time of my life, that time is probably best spent trying to get paid, trying to get laid, or trying to make a life for myself... but I REALLY like writing wrestling, so I work to a compromise. In theory I could sacrifice some quality and detail to speed up the process, but personally I reject that philosophy. Hence hiatus.

Hope you're all looking forward to the next Chapter. I'm doing some of the artwork for it now, and I'm getting pretty psyched about it. Until next time, keep on rockin'

OOC: Is it arrogant for me to hold an awards show, expecting readers to chime in to praise my interpretations of these characters? Is it too soon in this project to hold an event like this? In many way, yes, I think it is. However…

1) I’m a 3-time DOTM winner. I’ve earned the right to be a little arrogant. ;)

2) If I do it now, it should roughly coincide with the awesome DOTY Awards

3) If I did the Awards at the end of this project, I’d learn which characters worked and which didn’t, but I wouldn’t be able to do anything about it. Doing it now, I can learn who is popular, who isn’t clicking and I’ll still have time to adapt and rectify any mistakes. If I find a mid-level character is surprisingly popular, I can give them more screen time in the future.

So there you have it folks. This Monday, the Frontier Combat Kingdom returns, counting down to the special PPV event ‘FCK The Awards Show’. I'm currently putting together a nice survey, but I'll wait a couple of weeks before issuing it, so I can fine tune the questions.

Here's the card for the next episode of 'FCK Mondays' courtesy of FCKwrestling.ca

First time I ever made predictions on a Diary, been lurking with diary for a while though

Dan DaLay vs Harry Allen

Allen has been a beast and pure win.

Maverick vs Grease Hogg

Can't see The Silent Threat going over Hogg

Catherine Quine & Delicate Flowers vs Melody Cuthill, Joanne Rodriguez & Blonde Bombshell

This was a head scratcher I see The good side winning though

Tag Tournament Match: Team Deathstrike vs Steve DeColt & Edd Stone

Let's face it it would be dumb to bet against DeColt and Stone, which actually is leading me to a huge upset but that thought was gone right away.

Dan DaLay vs Harry Allen

Allen's cemented in the Main Event now, while DaLay has only ever been a convenient monster.

Maverick vs Grease Hogg

Singles guy over tag guy, possibly by cheating.

Catherine Quine & Delicate Flowers vs Melody Cuthill, Joanne Rodriguez & Blonde Bombshell

Blonde Bombshell pins all five other participants in this match at once in the most eye-candy heavy dogpile FCK has ever seen.

Tag Tournament Match: Team Deathstrike vs Steve DeColt & Edd Stone

JOBBERS!

Every time I take a hiatus I assume the good old fashioned "out of sight, out of mind" thing will take effect and folks would forget about the Frontier Combat Kingdom, but with 9 replies my heart is filled with hope and joy.

During this last hiatus I planned to do a graphical overhaul on a few things here. Most of the male pictures I've done used the old M3 model, and as such have an unrealistic musculature that has slowly but surely began to irritate me. I planned to revamp everything into the far superior M4, but it's a lot of work for little gain, and several things (including the announcement of TEW2010) has made me shelve that idea for the most part. I did however get this done...

I just really, really like doing graphics. I'm not particularly good at it, but I feel it adds another dimension, and I find it rather soothing.

Dan DaLay vs Harry Allen - Allen is 57 shades of awesome.

Maverick vs Grease Hogg - I love Hogg, but no way he beats Maverick singles.

Catherine Quine & Delicate Flowers vs Melody Cuthill, Joanne Rodriguez & Blonde Bombshell - J-Ro rocks!

Tag Tournament Match: Team Deathstrike vs Steve DeColt & Edd Stone - SOMEONE's gotta pick shennanigans, yeah?
