Lashley himself however, has said that he's not interested in the UFC until he's got more experience under his belt. Don't be surprised if he turns Dana down until he's had a couple more fights. Capelli King Posted March 6, 2009 Share Posted March 6, 2009 Lashley is taking the wrong path fighting someone like Ken Shamrock.....Shamrock is wayyyyyy past his prime and if Lashley wins he will still be seen as phony people will say "Come on he beat 45 year old Ken Shamrock". Lashley should be put against no one GREAT yet but he shouldn't be put against Ken Shamrock....Lashley Vs Ben Rothwell would prob be a better match-up. I think beating someone like Ken would be great, maybe he should get at least one easy fight before he takes on Ken though, then possibly one more before joining UFC. He said he'll appeal and what not, but he won't be able to go on the 21st most likely and moreover if the appeal fails he will not be fighting Tank this year either. This would have been a good fight for him to showcase his skills that he has gotten since training at ATT...and now the fight is off. Was looking forward to seeing Lashley for more than a minute.
