At the start of 2002, the Mittens Blurcat-led GAMMA stands atop the world of mixed martial arts like a colossus. The world top 10 list looks like this:

1. Hassan Fezzik (32-0) (GAMMA Heavyweight champion)

2. Mike Watson (14-0) (GAMMA Light Heavyweight champion)

3. Fiyero Lermontov (16-0) (GAMMA Lightweight champion)

4. Julio Reguiero (18-0-1) (GAMMA Welterweight champion)

5. Neil Napier (20-0) (GAMMA Middleweight champion)

6. Tadamasa Yamada (27-1) (Alpha-1 Light Heavyweight champion)

7. Rav Kapur (16-0)

8. Li-Kong Ho (23-0) (GAMMA Featherweight champion)

9. Terron Cabal (19-0)

10. Lefter Oktay (20-0)

A lot of high level fighters still working on undefeated streaks, and GAMMA owns almost all of them. Notable GAMMA undefeateds include:

Hyun-shik Lim (10-0, #3 LHW)

Ashley Ballard (14-0, #4 MW)

Alex Cole (15-0, #5 MW)

Osmosis Benn (9-0, #6 MW)

Datuk Ong Ka Ting (14-0, #3 WW)

Josh Aldarisio (10-0, #5 WW)

Manuel Silva (8-0, #7 LW)

Nicely done.

And also, so interesting how different games can be.

Ashley Ballard and Osmosis Benn have both lost three straight fights for me, mostly to questionable opponents.

Alex Cole and Josh Aldarisio, however, have both shown signs of brilliance so far.

Ballard, I suspect, is about to take his first loss as he's scheduled to get a title shot against Napier in a few weeks. I've had to pick and choose his opponents fairly carefully in order to preserve his streak. Once he's no longer undefeated I'll probably throw him into the deep end of my middleweight division and see if he sinks or swims.

Silva's also on the verge of facing his toughest test as he'll be fighting the one-loss Sukarno in a month or so in what should be an exciting match.

I figure it's about time to start testing a bunch of these undefeated guys as I've got a whole bunch of young up-and-comers sitting at around 5-0 or 6-0 and wanting to force their way up the card.

What a great game . . .

For being #5, Mickiewicz is virtually unknown. I've had a bad habit of that, signing guys and then never being able to get them over in the states. Poor Kenneth Toadspew was on my roster for like two years with a grand total of two main card fights. Go Kenneth~!

I do that all the time aswell. I have stolen loads of big name guys from GAMMA and SIGMA but I have rarely been able to turn any of them into stars. I guess my biggest problem is my refusal to let them fight each other. My heavyweight division is full of talented guys with only a couple of cans so I have basically just been letting my talented guys take turns beating up the cans until they get more popularity.

I had a problem bringing up Mickiewicz star power, but personally I'm putting it down to him being a bit of a charisma black hole, making it harder to gain popularity. High National is pretty low for the guy ranked the worlds top heavyweight, especially considering he's got a lot of main events under him, and wins against guys like Watson, Soldo, Rivero and a couple over Asanovic under his belt.

As of January 1, 2002, with SIGMA (now a High Level National promotion):

1. Mike Watson (15-0; SIGMA Light Heavyweight Champion) - 100% Rep.

2. Hassan Fezzik (30-0; ALPHA-1 Heavyweight Champion) - 100%

3. Tadamasa Yamada (28-1; ALPHA-1 Light Heavyweight Champion) - 98%

4. Petey Mack (23-2; SIGMA Middleweight Champion) - 96%

5. Julio Regueiro (20-0-1) - 95%

6. James Foster (38-4-1) - 93%

7. Terron Cabal (19-1) - 92%

8. Neil Napier (18-1) - 91%

9. Li-Kong Ho (25-0) - 91%

10. Matthew Dean (36-8) - 91%

Notes: Terron Cabal was #1 P4P for over a year until a stunning loss to LHW Alexei Chekhov (24-4) to drop the SIGMA Heavyweight title. Watson, Mack, Regueiro, Cabal, Napier, Ho, and Dean are SIGMA fighters; Fezzik and Yamada are ALPHA-1 fighters; Foster is a GAMMA fighter.

A few of my fighters have big fights coming up: Julio Regueiro will take on #2 WW Jim Carpenter (55-9-2) for the SIGMA Welterweight title soon. The winner of next week's Fiyero Lermontov (15-0; SIGMA Lightweight Champion) and Helio (27-3) fight will almost certainly move into the P4P ranks.

The big fight, though, will be Li-Kong Ho taking on Philip Ziskie (16-0) for the SIGMA Featherweight title. I'm expecting the winner to move into the top 5 P4P.

August 2000

1. Fezzik (30-0)

2. Reguiero (19-0-1)

3. Yamada (25-2)

4. Matthew Dean (33-5)

5. Fiyero Lermotov (13-0)

6. James Foster (36-5-1)

7. Li-Kong Ho (23-0)

8. Raul Hughes (16-2)

9. Mike Watson (12-1)

10. Armen Sarkisian (15-0)

Been fighting Tourneys(8-Man) for all titles, as I started with a new fed and all fighters unemployed, has anyone seen Fezzik beaten.

Now in May 2003:

1. Lubos Plasil (17-0)

2. Hassan Fezzik (36-0)

3. Heji Endo (20-3)

4. Jonathan Huang (10-0)

5. Josh Aldarisio (9-0)

6. Tamasada Yamada (29-3)

7. Buddy Garner (21-2)

8. Kunimichi Kikuchi (38-8)

9. Fiyero lermontov (17-2)

10. Julio Regueiro (23-1-1)

Plasil beat Li Dong-Ho twice, after Li-Dong Ho moved up from Featherweight to defeat Lermontov, Lermontov then moved to Welterweight, defeated Reguiero, but lost to Aldarisio(Split Decision) in his first title Defense.

Huang beat garner for the MW Title, but then got suspended for drugs, Garner now is the Interim Champ, and they likely go for a rermatch soon.

Fezzik has beaten Hughes, Foster, Fuji and Kikuchi, his next Defense will be against Ivanov.

Endo beat Yamada for the LHW title.

Update: One year later, on January 1, 2003, my list looks quite different:

1. Zvonimir Asanovic (20-2; SIGMA Light Heavyweight Champion) - 100% Rep

2. Fiyero Lermontov (17-0; SIGMA Lightweight Champion) - 100%

3. Petey Mack (24-2; SIGMA Middleweight Champion) - 100%

4. Tadamasa Yamada (30-1) - 100%

5. Jonathan Huang (8-0) - 100%

6. Li-Kong Ho (27-0; SIGMA Featherweight Champion) - 100%

7. Terron Cabal (21-1; SIGMA Heavyweight Champion) - 98%

8. Julio Regueiro (23-0-1) - 95%

9. Carlos da Guia (21-1; SIGMA Welterweight Champion) - 95%

10. James Foster (39-4-1; GAMMA Heavyweight Champion) - 93%

Zvonimir came out of nowhere to claim the top spot after back-to-back brutal KO's over last year's #1 P4P, Mike Watson. My LW and FW champions have just destroyed top contenders; Lermontov KO'd ALPHA-1 import Luis Basora and Ho just UD'd Takeuchi (he's 3-0 against him now) after subbing both Bohlin and Ziskie). Mack has finished De Vries, Dean, and Gardner with strikes. He has a fight coming up with #5 P4P Huang, who is subbing everyone and just subbed former champ Neil Napier. Julio and recent WW champ da Guia are also scheduled to fight soon. Asanovic will be fighting Yamada, who is perhaps the best fighter in the game at the moment, in about six months. Cabal recently won back his HW strap and will have to fight Ivanov down the road. The one P4Per who's not in my org is James Foster, and he's GAMMA HW champion with virtually no competition.

For the record, Hassan Fezzik hasn't fought in nearly two years and is now ranked #10 at Heavyweight. I'm going to steal him and put him in a fight with either Ivanov or Cabal (or maybe Yamada at Heavyweight...) when his contract runs out in 3 months. He's no longer invincible like he once was.

September 2000:

1. Hassan Fezzik

2. Buddy Garner

3. James Foster

4. Sean Morrison

5. Julio Regueiro

6. Kafu Bunya

7. Tadamasa Yamada

8. Kunimichi Kikuchi

9. Fiyero Lermontov

10. Alex Cole

Buddy Garner was actually #1 for a year, but now he and Fezzik trade depending on who's last match was most recent. Foster, Morrison, Regueiro, Bunya, Lermontov, and Cole have all dominated the opposition- Cole being the big surprise, is now 15-0. Yamada is still in the top ten, even though he lost his title to Sho Kitibitake a while ago; Sho has been steamrolling all challengers, but isn't listed at all.

October 2003

1. Kunimichi Kikuchi (44-6)

2. Sho Kitabatake (20-0)

3. Tadamasa Yamada (35-1)

4. James Foster (44-4-1)

5. Li-Kong Ho (30-0)

6. Fiyero Lermontov (24-0)

10. Spencer Rubenstein (10-0)

January 2001:

1. Sho Kitabatake (6-0)

2. Carlos da Guida (19-0)

3. Hassan Fezzik (30-0)

4. Mike Watson (13-0)

5. James Foster (36-4-1)

6. Julio Regueiro (20-0-1)

7. JJ Reid (29-2)

8. Lefter Oktay (18-0)

9. Tadamasa Yamada (25-2)

10. Kafu Bunya (14-0)

So my #1 is a bit of a surprise name. As it turns out, he fought five times in 2000, beating Jerry Bogdonovich, Edilberto, Jin Katou, Inejiro Chiba and Tadamasa Yamada. All by submission too. Hell of a year for a nobody!

June 2002:

1. Julio Regueiro (23-0-1)

2. Tadamasa Yamada (28-2)

3. Carlos da Guia (21-0)

4. Niko Soldo (8-0)

5. Aleksander Ivanov (11-0)

6. JJ Reid (31-3)

7. James Foster (37-6-1)

8. Kunimichi Kikuchi (40-4)

9. Ken Peters (17-0)

10. Jack Humphreys (31-5)

So my previous #1 dropped three fights in a row and disappeared from the rankings. Hassan Fezzik beat Foster three times, winning the first two but losing in the third and dropping from the rankings, while Foster stays at #7. Ken Peters will likely be the #1 in a year, he's been rolling over guys for a couple of years and I'm quite sure he hasn't even lost a round yet.

March 2005

1 - James Foster (46-4-1)

2 - Jin Katou (29-0-3)

3 - Terron Kabal (23-2)

4 - Zvonimir Asanovic (25-4)

5 - Tadamasa Yamada (34-1)

6 - Stratos Papaioannou (35-10)

7 - Heiji Endo (22-2)

8 - Matthew Dean (39-8)

9 - Darin Blood (23-6)

10 - Kafu Bunya (20-2)

A strange collection of fighters in my p4p top 10 at the moment, with Stratos standing out like a sore thumb in the middle of a few great fighters. Mind you, with victories over Fezzik and Kikuchi in his previous two matches, he deserves to be here. Fezzik's lost four of his previous five and dropped out of the top 10 a while ago. Foster's won all 14 of his matches so far in this game.

My current P4P list as of Feb 2003

My fighters in bold.

1. Hassan Fezzik (32-0)

2. Li Kong-Ho (29-0)

3. Fiyero Lermontov (17-1)

4. Jin Katou (29-0)

5. Kanezane Fujii (9-0-1)

6. Neil Napier (22-1)

7. Jack Humphreys (32-5)

8. Heiji Endo (20-1)

9. Tadamasa Yamada (30-2)

10. Sukarno (12-1)

Li-Kong Ho had been top for most of 2002, but Hassan Fezzik has come back of another victory to regain the top spot. Buddy Garner was in the top 10 (cant remember where) but a recent loss in the superfight with Neil Napier has knocked him out. Li-Kong Ho is unbeatable at the moment just beat Philip Ziskie in their second fight, hoping to sign Sean Morrison for another superfight, may test him more! Kanezane Fujii has been my biggest success, just drew with James Foster, but until then was carving up my heavyweight ranks, and should still! Anyway there is my list. I think we should also post each weight division as that too would be interesting.

As of April 2001

1. Hassan Fezzik (30-0) defeated James Foster twice.

2. James Foster (36-6-1) moved down to Light Heavyweight division after losing to Fezzik twice.

3. Li-Kong Ho (23-0) noteable wins over Philip Ziskie and Sean Morrison.

4. Neil Napier (18-0) thinking of making a Napier-Ho fight in the welterweight division since both are unbeatable in their divisions.

5. Mike Watson (13-2) is a victim of losing in a the finals(8 man tournament) for the LHW title and losing a couple of months later in a rematch. So he unfortunitely lost two straight, but was a BEAST before losing.

6. Carlos da Guia (19-1) lost to Julio Regueiro, but bounced back to win 4straight. Over Callum Henson, Gabriel Gallego, Ichisake Miyagi, and his biggest paycheck, Manuel Silva in the first GAMMA event in Brazil.

7. Raul Hughes (17-3)

8. Sean Morrison (29-4)

9. Julio Regueiro (16-2-1)

9. Neil Napier (18-0)

On a side note, Li Kong-Ho lost to Tomohiro Takeuchi in his first match and hasn't fought since. >_>

Ho lost 2 fights in 28, winning the other 26, in my game. His only losses were to Sukarno (who he'd beaten before, and lost the rubber match (with it being right at the end of his career) and Lermontov (who he'd beaten before, and later won the rubber match, as it was right at the end of Lermontov's career).

I'm playing as GAMMA and have reached 2004. Looking at the worlds top Pound for Pound fights I have discovered I own them all. World Domination rules.

#1: Neil Napier (22-4) Not sure why he's number 1 actually, he hasn't really done much. He's never really beaten any top fighters, and lost to Julio Reguiero, Buddy Garner, Heiji Endo, and Matthew Dean. He was MW champ, but never managed to successfully defend it. Oh Well.

#2: Sylvester Collins (20-2) He lost to Kurt Mcdonald and Steve Mason 4 years ago. No he's HW champ, and beat Hassan Fessik. Twice.

#3: Jin Katou (28-2-1) Lost to Tamadasa Yamada twice, but beat prety much everyone worth anything in his weight class.

#4: Fiyero Lermontov (23-2) Lost to Sean Morrison and Li-Kong Ho, but is now the only person to ever defeat Ho. Employed by GAMMA, he is the current GAMMA LW champ, and SIGMA LW Champ (up yours SIGMA).

#5: Murilo Santinho: (17-0) The only undefeated guy with a higher than 40% reputation in the universe. Has beaten James Foster, and Rav Kapur. I'm holding off a Collins vs Santinho match for a while.

#6: Josh Alderiso (17-1) Lost to Julio Reguerio.

#7: Hyun-Shik Lim (17-3) Loot to Aleksei Chekhov (even though he's rubbish), Raul Hughes (moved down from HW to LHW) and Jin Katou. Has beaten Tadamasa Yamada twice, and given Sho Kitabatake his only loss. Current 2-time GAMMA LHW Champ, former SIGMA LHW Champ.

#8: Jack Humphreys (34-6) Lost to Carlos de Guia (who has since had 5 straight losses, even to nobodies), Darin Blood, and Julio Reguiero. Has since beaten Reguiero in a rematch, taking his WW title.

#9: Wilson Franklyn (19-3) Built him up as a machine. Even changed his name to "The War Machine". He beat James Foster easily (and he shouldn't have), and has lost to Fessik twice, and to Sylvester Collins.

#10: Philip Ziskie (19-3): Lost to Li-Kong Ho twice, and once to HM Menzel. Former XCC FW champ.

So no Hassan Fessik (34-2), Tadamasa Yamada (30-3), Li-Kong Ho (32-1), or James Foster (44-9-1). Madness.
