Damn, I love Kennedy. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

But yeah, minor injury it was as stated, nothing more.</p>

There is a rumor now that Orton complained to Vince, and he wasn't the first. Apparently a couple other "big names" - as in former world champions - complained to McMahon as well. As Vince was already in a bad mood over the whole Denver Nuggets thing, he took it out on Kennedy...

<p>I feel bad for Kennedy he was truly crused</p><p> </p><p>

all the injuries</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

wrestled Bobby Lashley and Eddie Guerrero in their last T.V matches for WWE (Lashley was hurt because of Kennedy and Guerrero died a couple of weeks later)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

But I thought there were other ways around it, why not let him be the voice of Smackdown, or ECW let him be a personality, I am sure he would refuse but what if he didn't?</p>

I'd say Candace is still there because I don't think SHE has hurt anyone. But she is the one always getting hurt.

Plus she fits what the WWE loves.... Hot girl with giant boobs. ;) While they come a dime a dozen in the WWE... She does have crossover success with the "Go Daddy" commercials. Even if people don't really know who she is outright they will potentially make the connection.

I knew the moment Orton hit the canvas that Kennedy was done for. Kennedy's got no business suplexing anyone above Mysterio's size. Post-juice, he just doesn't have the wherewithal (even with his opponent posting for him) to pull it off on bigger guys. Why would Orton even agree to take a 'plex from this guy though?</p>

It's a trademark issue, not a copyright issue, so I don't see anybody being up in arms over a ten year old line of dialogue.</p><p> </p><p> Plus, it's his actual name, which means they don't even have to be trying to reference the Matrix directly.</p>

<p>Got this from impactwrestling.com:</p><p> </p><p>

- Sources in WWE say that the company would have released Mr. Kennedy a while ago if it weren't for his Behind Enemy Lines movie that came out and the injury that he suffered. A number of wrestlers in WWE didn't like Kennedy and thought he was a "kiss ass." Others felt Kennedy's ring work never improved the way it should have.</p><p> </p><p>

As noted earlier, nobody in the creative team stood up for Kennedy when Vince McMahon made the decision to fire him. To add to that, no wrestlers or other staff stood up and spoke for Kennedy either. One person in WWE says that Vince McMahon could care less if Kennedy ends up in TNA because he "can't stay healthy" and because he hasn't improved his in-ring work.</p><p> </p><p>

Mr. Kennedy has already made enquiries about wrestling in Japan, reports The Sun.</p>

Means he's as good as retired in the sections of the wrestling world I can follow. No more Kennedy = good riddance to bad rubbish in my mind. His shtick was annoying coming from someone so otherwise bland and boring.</p>

<p>I wouldn't doubt it if he was a kiss-ass, he's been labeled as insecure during his time in the WWE, always taking notes from veterans and constantly changing his style to try to improve(finishers, for one). While that's the right mindset to an extent, sometimes it works if you just duke it out and go at it your own way to achieve success.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I still hope the planets get aligned one day and he'll come back.</p>

<p>But if he didn't want to improve or take note of veterans, people would label him as "arrogant" or "full of himself."</p><p> </p><p>

Who knows, maybe he'll move on to have a successful career abroad. Many others have done it before (Bart Gunn, A-Train most recently).</p>

This is something that really annoys me when people cite wrestling new site. you give the credit to impact wrestling, but in the article http://www.impactwrestling.com/Content.aspx?ID=26896 they give the credit to pwinsider.com. which is in fact the actual source of the story since that information was released in an audio update, almost word for word, a day before impact wrestling published it.

Never gave them credit, just saying thats when I found it.

It's moreso a matter of doing it too much, hence insecurity. Obviously it's the right move to get a word in from vets.

Talk about safety and wellness release Kennedy and sign F*N Chris Masters?! And also on a point of safey/injury proneness tha can't be the full reason as Mark Henry is still around and he legitimatly injured a lot of superstars and was injured himself a lot as well.
