Moderndaywarrior
Well,it was looking good with a W over Stan"The Win", then you hit a bit of a rough patch. Still,it's no big deal....I mean, it was JYD and Mil Mascaras, and you had Tiger Conway, who I like, but he just isn't on the level of the other team....Mil not selling it to bring the grade down and picking up the win for his team is no shock either. Bull Ramos.....what can I say, he's very tough and very over,no shame on that one as you were only going to beat him either by a miracle or DQ,at least he's big and strong enough to make it believeable. Even Hector,he's fairly popular in the Mid South,so it's not so bad.
D. Boons Ghost
I agree with MDW; there is no shame in a youngster losing to those guys. On the bright side: You did manage to take a fall from the Bull, which is quite an accomplishment. Ramos, after all, was a true monster.
captainlou
All four of the opponents, Stasiak, JYD, Masacras and Ramos are very over and had high energy numbers, which made it very tough to wear down. I was lucky to beat "The Man" and almost upset Ramos. Mike Graham must have something in store for me since he put me in a tag match against the two top over wrestlers in HCW. Mark's respect is up to E, so he's starting to make a name for himself after only 3 months.

Moderndaywarrior
Old Don has you busy again;the losses to Oliver and Madril are such a big deal, both of those guys are really over in PNW,esp. Oliver who is really "in his stride" at this point. Dean Malenko....oh well,at least you put over someone worthwhile....give it a few years and we'll see who is beating who. captainlou
It allows me to get to the brink but ends up with my opponents winning at the end. The losing streak is starting to bug me because I can't get to build the attributes at the rate that I would like. At this rate, it might be longer than expected to get Mark to the point where a cult-sized promotion will at least give me a tryout or a small length verbal contract. I think I had to get around D or C- in about half of the U.S. markets before GCW/WCCW/AWA/MACW would even take my calls. Don't sweat it though, there are stretches where i did the job 2-3 times a week for a month before I really got going.

Moderndaywarrior
Nice work against some fellow youngsters.....looks like Dr.Tom is already starting to show flashes of the talent he'd develop later on in Continental,I'm sure after that loss he'll doing his fair bit of complaining on TV about that loss. Dr.Death, meanwhile, coming along, but a little more slowly......still,he's tough as heck even for veterans, another win over him is a definitely another notch in the old belt. I see, Mad Dog left town for MACW.....I wonder how he'll fare up in The Carolinas, can his success on that huge run with Wildfire translate over? captainlou
Maybe Sawyer will stay there a long while so that I can get my hands on him if I can get Mean Mark into MACW in '89, should I get that far. Buzz was supposed to train Mark but all Sawyer did was show him one move, the collar and elbow tie up, then took his money and ran off.

Yep,sounds like the kind of thing Buzz (or Austin Idol) would do.....gotta say though, Mark/Buzz would probably be a pretty good big/small match.
