A fairly even match. Rick Hunter would outwrestle Arn Anderson, but then Arn would cheat to gain the upper hand. Arn inflicted alot of damage but could not put Hunter away. Clearly frustrated Arn picked Hunter up and motioned for Hart to hit him with the megaphone. Hunter however ducked out of the way and Hart instead hit Arn. Hunter then covered for the easy pinfall.

 

Rick Hunter defeated Arn Anderson in 14:47 by pinfall with an Inverted Suplex. During the match we also had Jimmy Hart accidentally hit Anderson.

This was a great match. It was very even with many near falls. At one stage it looked like Garvin was going to win when in came the debuting King Kong Bundy who savagely attacked Garvin causing the DQ.

 

Ronnie Garvin defeated Randy Savage in 14:50 when Randy Savage was disqualified when King Kong Bundy ran in and attacked Ronnie Garvin.

I would actually pay to see this match in real life! Got to go with AA, even though they are both sort of new Magnum can job for a bit and I do not feel that Arn can or should at this point.

 

Crusher Blomfield vs Lanny Poffo

 

This one is the toughest one for me. Lanny might win because of the owner's son thing but Crusher is part of the newly formed heel stable and he needs to look like a monster. I will go with Crusher.

 

Midnight Express vs Samoans

 

This is the only match that I feel somewhat sure on. The Express have to look good if they are going to be apart of the dominate heel stable.

Koko finally managed to beat Pez for the TV title. During the match Pez tried to get himself counted out and disqualifed but the referee was having none of it.

 

Koko B. Ware defeated Pez Whatley in 8:11 by pinfall with a Missile Dropkick. Koko B. Ware wins the ICW Television title.

(I am a big Koko fan and he has alot more upside then Pez does. So a title win for him here seemed right.)

Jimmy Hart, along with his bodyguard Arn Anderson, sarcastically welcomes this weeks guest, Rick Hunter, to the show. After grilling Hunter with some heated questions that lead nowhere, Hart ends the interview by flat out insulting Hunter.

(Seemed like a good way to push the storyline along. Neither Arn or Hunter are that great on the stick so using Hart was a good idea.)

Malenko gained the upperhand intially by attacking Garvin before the bell rang. Garvin soon regained control and looked like he was going to put Malenko away. However Sunshine jumped on the apron and tried to use her sex appeal to distract Garvin. Garvin was intially caught out by this but saw Malenkos sneak attack and finished him off for the easy win.

 

Ronnie Garvin defeated Dean Malenko in 7:52 by pinfall with a Hands of Stone Punch. During the match we also had Sunshine distract Garvin.

Ronnie Garvin is walking back down the aisle, having just wrestled a tough match. At the same time, Randy Savage is making his entrance for the next match. As they meet in the aisle, both stop in their tracks, staring at each other - neither willing to move for the other.

After a tense staredown - which draws the attention of a gang of workers from the backstage, Garvin motions for Savage to move out of the way. As means of reply, Savage smacks Garvin across the face. The insult infuriates Garvin, who lunges to get at his enemy.

Both are quickly separated before blows are exchanged, but both grapplers scream their plans of revenge towards the other.

(Good way to build suspense to there match at ICW Mayhem.)

Magnum was the crowd favourite but was no match for Savage who easily beat him.

 

Randy Savage defeated Magnum T.A. in 9:41 by pinfall with a Flying Elbow Drop.
