BHK1978
I will go with AA, all though I can totally see Rick winning this because I feel that he is due. and I still have to go with Savage only because of the whole owners goals thing. However, my gut is telling me that Ronnie might win via DQ or countout. I should have gone with my gut! Great show, I love the Bundy run in! Moderndaywarrior
Malenkos vs. The Samoans Going with the better talents....besides,I believe the samoans are getting up there in age. King Kong Bundy vs. Big Red Bundy is way more marketable than Red...Bundy killing another big man will make him look all that more dangerous Col. Yanky vs. La Parka vs. Koko B. Ware vs. George Weingeroff Koko was actually pretty good in his "Pre-Bird Man" days,I go with him since I think he's got the best shot of doing a decent match with Pez Arn Anderson & Ratymas vs. Rick Hunter & Lanny Poffo Arn is good but he's settles with the "slightly less good" Ratymas, while the other side has the boss's boy and someone who is over, just old.Chances are Ratymas eats the pin by Lanny,if Lanny manages a win on AA,I'd take it as a sign that the Poffo/Anderson feud will soon be on. BHK1978
This is going to be a tough card to pick! I can see a lot of matches going either way. Arn Anderson vs Magnum TA I would actually pay to see this match in real life! Got to go with AA, even though they are both sort of new Magnum can job for a bit and I do not feel that Arn can or should at this point. Crusher Blomfield vs Lanny Poffo This one is the toughest one for me. Lanny might win because of the owner's son thing but Crusher is part of the newly formed heel stable and he needs to look like a monster. I will go with Crusher. Midnight Express vs Samoans This is the only match that I feel somewhat sure on. The Express have to look good if they are going to be apart of the dominate heel stable. TV Title Pez Whatley © vs Koko B.Ware Pez has not held the title all that long so I will give it to him. That being said I would not be all that shocked if the Birdman won. No. The stable is: Jimmy Hart Arn Anderson Crusher Bloomfield The Midnight Express He would just bring them down anyway.
Moderndaywarrior
Arn Anderson vs. Magnum T.A. I'm torn on this as I like both guys,Arn is little more "overall" over than T.A. due to GCW and he's in a stable with Magnum is still looking for direction, so I'll take AA. Crusher Bloomfield vs. Lanny Poffo Lanny has pretty many wins now and a feud with The Hart Dynasty would serve him better than a feud with Ratamyas,so I'm guessing Crusher takes it and Lanny catches a beatdown to start a program. Midnight Express vs. the Samoans Young talented team that has been getting the push even before their debut against two aging guys who aren't exactly the best in the ring?No contest. Pez Whatley vs. Koko Ware It's for the title,so I'm guessing it's gonna be Whatley via shennanigans to retain and start a program between these two;had it been Non-Title I would have went with Koko all the way though. E (Ratamyas needed a win and some momentum going into ICW Mayhem) Hart Dungeon http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/8019/jimmyhart.jpg w/ http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/6179/arnanderson.jpghttp://img197.imageshack.us/img197/5097/rickhunter.jpg Jimmy Hart, along with his bodyguard Arn Anderson, sarcastically welcomes this weeks guest, Rick Hunter, to the show. After grilling Hunter with some heated questions that lead nowhere, Hart ends the interview by flat out insulting Hunter. D+ (6 mins) (Seemed like a good way to push the storyline along. Neither Arn or Hunter are that great on the stick so using Hart was a good idea.) http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/7792/ronniegarvin.jpg DEF http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/4954/deanmalenko.jpg w/ http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/6545/sunshineuyk.jpg Malenko gained the upperhand intially by attacking Garvin before the bell rang. Garvin soon regained control and looked like he was going to put Malenko away. However Sunshine jumped on the apron and tried to use her sex appeal to distract Garvin. Garvin was intially caught out by this but saw Malenkos sneak attack and finished him off for the easy win. Ronnie Garvin defeated Dean Malenko in 7:52 by pinfall with a Hands of Stone Punch. During the match we also had Sunshine distract Garvin. D+ (need to give Garvin a win.) http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/8384/randysavage.jpghttp://img188.imageshack.us/img188/7792/ronniegarvin.jpg Ronnie Garvin is walking back down the aisle, having just wrestled a tough match. At the same time, Randy Savage is making his entrance for the next match. As they meet in the aisle, both stop in their tracks, staring at each other - neither willing to move for the other. After a tense staredown - which draws the attention of a gang of workers from the backstage, Garvin motions for Savage to move out of the way. As means of reply, Savage smacks Garvin across the face. The insult infuriates Garvin, who lunges to get at his enemy. Both are quickly separated before blows are exchanged, but both grapplers scream their plans of revenge towards the other. C- (7 mins) (Good way to build suspense to there match at ICW Mayhem.) http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/8384/randysavage.jpg DEF http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/8145/magnumta.jpg Magnum was the crowd favourite but was no match for Savage who easily beat him. Randy Savage defeated Magnum T.A. in 9:41 by pinfall with a Flying Elbow Drop. D Final Rating: D TV Rating 0.
