Good roster moves.... Koko and Eaton both have skills, plus they have already worked together in a very good(but sadly unremembered) tag team,Sunshine should be good in the valet department, probably for a face.

On to the picks....

Crusher Broomfield vs. Rick Hunter

Crusher is awesome and has Jimmy Hart, Hunter gives him the rub.

Dean & Joe Malenko vs. Lanny Poffo and George Weingeroff

Tough call here....I go with the Malenkos since we know how much potential is there, plus you have Weingeroff to take the fall and thus protect Poffo's momentum.

Arn Anderson vs. Ronnie Garvin

I love ol' Arn, BUT Garvin just took a loss to Savage and is Main Eventing the monthly big show,he needs the win for momentum going in.Hopefully we'll see Ronnie slip into a program with Hart's stable(since his chemistry with Savage apparently sucks).

La Parka vs. Koko B. Ware

You're killing me here:) Both guys are new,I'll take La Parka since he needs a win to start establishing himself in the market, whereas Koko is already known. If there's any justice in the TEW world, this ought to be a nice match.

You are working an era of wrestling that was at its best in my opinion. I wasn't very familiar with the ICW back then since I was out in the Northwest, but am familiar enough with it. I am very interested in how it works for you on this and I am as well planning my first diary using the DOTT as well. Trying to decide which way to go with it, either re-writing texas history with WCCW or trying to save the AWA.

Anyway, long story short here are my pics.

Arn Anderson wins as does Leaping Lanny

As for the TV title battle, I am going to go with Pez Whatley as well since the others don't seem to measure up right now for a title run.

Keep it going and good luck.

Crusher Broomfield vs. Rick Hunter This is just me sticking with the person that I know beating the person that I do not.

Dean & Joe Malenko vs. Lanny Poffo and George Weingeroff This to me is a toss up I think I will go with Lanny and George for no real reason. I just don't want to copy all of Moderndaywarrior's picks even though I have to say all of his points are always valid.

Arn Anderson vs. Ronnie Garvin As much as it pains me to do this I have to go with Ronnie. Because he lost the match to Savage and also because AA is new to the promotion.

La Parka vs. Koko B. Ware Much like the Malenko's match above I could see this going either way but I will stick with the Bird Man

Also, the signing of Bobby Eaton made this promotion even better. Maybe you should pair him up with Arn. That was one great tag team when they where apart of the Dangerous Alliance.

Sorry, somewhere between when I started my post (then took a break without sending it) and finished it, you sent out the card. Looks like I will have to be a little quicker lol.

Anyway onto the picks

Quick Picks:

Crusher Bloomfield w/ Jimmy Hart vs Rick Hunter - Rick Hunter by DQ

United States Tag Team Title Match

Dean & Joe Malenko vs Lanny Poffo & George Weingeroff - Poffo and Weingeroff

Arn Anderson w/ Jimmy Hart vs Ronnie Garvin - AA by outside interference

La Parka vs Koko B.Ware - Not a Koko fan, but I am not sensing a push for the luchadore quite yet, take Koko for the win.

I'll take Crusher Bloomfield

Poffo & Weigeroff as Malenko's just aren't that well known yet, and Poffo is probably #2 man here.

Garvin over Anderson... The rub AA gets from Ronnie Garvin shoud be enough to help out Anderson

Koko B. Ware over La Parka... I have a hard enough time buying La Parka's impact in this era

ICW Superstars Preview:

The final ICW Superstars before ICW Madness is full of action and sees the main event of Randy Savage, Crusher and Arn Anderson taking on Ronnie Garvin, Rick Hunter and Magnum T.A in an elimantion tag match. This will be an explosive match with huge implications for ICW Madness.

Dennis Condrey and Bobby do I smell the Express coming to town? All though I like the Bobby/Stan Lane version better.

Pez Whatley vs Terry Gibbs I can't see Pez not winning this match he just won the belt and a title change would be to soon.

Malenkos vs Jim Gibson/George Weingeroff Usually when I see a non title match that screams out to me challengers win. But I am going against my rather large gut and saying the Malenkos will win this one.

Col Yanky vs Thunderbolt Patterson I have to stick with the wrestler that I know.

Randy Savage & Crusher Bloomfield & Arn Anderson w/ Jimmy Hart

vs

Ronnie Garvin & Magnum T.A & Rick Hunter This one right here is a tough one but Savage is the owners son so I will stick with that.

pretty much agreeing with everyone else on my picks...

Pez Whatleyvs. Terry Gibbs

Whatley is pushable,Gibbs is not.

Malenko Bros. vs. Jim Gibson/George Weingeroff

Gibson being in there seals it,reminds me of old WWF tag squashes.

Col.Yanky vs. Thunderbolt Patterson

T-Bolt may be showing his age,but he still has name value, and he's decent in promo segments.

Randy Savage, Crusher Bloomfield, & Arn Anderson vs. Ron Garvin,Magnum T.A., & Rick Hunter

You have the boss's son and two pushable guys with a great manager on one side, the other side has a guy who has yet to win a match,so I'll go with the "safe" bet.

Big props on brining in TME,just need Cornette and life is good.:)

Savage looks none to pleased as Crusher is then elimanted by Garvin. Crusher refuses to leave the ring and beats down Garvin after being elimanted. This allows Savage to pick the easy win.

Arn Anderson vs Rick Hunter I will go with AA, all though I can totally see Rick winning this because I feel that he is due.

Ratamyas vs Lanny Poffo Because of the whole owners goals I am going with this.

Crusher Bloomfield vs Terry Gibbs The One Man Gang can not be beaten by Terry Gibbs

Thunderbolt Patterson vs ??? Quick question is this a mystery opponent or do you just not know who you want in this match yet?

Randy Savage © vs Ronnie Garvin I still have to go with Savage only because of the whole owners goals thing. However, my gut is telling me that Ronnie might win via DQ or countout.

Arn Anderson vs. Rick Hunter

Again,I think it's a matter of Arn being young and marketable, while Hunter is pushing 50...Arn will get the rub here.Eventually Hunter will get wins to build him back up and keep him from complaining, but I don't think it'll be against someone the caliber of AA.

Ratamyas vs. Lanny Poffo

Lanny is daddy's boy, plus his momentum must be built and preserved for owner's goals...Ratamyas,on the other hand,is kind of ICW's answer to "Iron" Mike Sharpe or S.D.Jones in the WWF....he can beat another jobber but always comes up short against "the big guys"

Crusher Bloomfield vs. Terry Gibbs

The awesomeness that is OMG when he could still work squashes the missing Bee Gee.

Thunderbolt Patterson vs ?????

T-Bolt is alright, but considering recent events backstage,I'll go out on a limb and take the mystery man;hopefully it's Bobby Eaton with a nice debut win.

Randy Savage vs. Ronnie Garvin

Daddy's boy, plus owner goal....though at least for once the boss's kid is some talent worth pushing;probably a cheap win to keep it going until you can find some of Main Event status that Savage can do a better match with.
