Madden 10

As a quick aside on that, living in South Florida, it gets tiresome when it keeps getting brought up. What is it, almost 40 years ago? Most of the people who bring it up weren't even around back then. One that gets a pass is one of the afternoon drive hosts, since he actually played on that team. But even then, enough. Hahaha.

More on topic, who is the most impressive/gamebreaking rookie/young player in the game? Percy Harvin? Darren McFadden? Heyward Bey (just kidding!)? Ugh...5 more days to wait.

wow... So i've been playing on My SKILL and over the past two games alone... (vs. Seattle and now St. Louis) I've thrown 10 interceptions. 5 in both games.

It feels like whenever I throw.... no matter what route it is... It gets picked off.

SIDE NOTE: I'm Jacksonville.

If I try to open up the offense and actually utilize Holt, or any of my WR for that matter, it's almost always picked off. Even if it looks like they have space....

I'm not the greatest Madden player... But I've just found my fav game.

Bills vs. Saints.

I played them in the reg season, had 12 interceptions against Brees, 5 of them for TDs.

Played them in the Superbowl.. Same thing.

With Minnesota I play on my skill and I have to say I'm not having the problems you guys are having as I am able to both run and pass the ball. I do throw alot of picks, but that is because my QB sucks and can't throw deep so I play to his strengths which are throwing the short ball and then go for YAC which is easy with the Vikings recievers.

Sadly, passing ends up in an INT most times.

Awesome...

Steven Jackson just herniated his disk in my game, so he's done for the regular season. Ironically, my only chance at him playing again would be in the playoffs, which I can probably only reach WITH Steven Jackson.

Next week: Kyle Boller and Antonio Pittman start against the 1-5 Lions. Can you say "Cripple Fight!!!!"?

I thought I was in the same boat as you (as it pertains to your main offense threat being hurt) as I'm 4-3 right now and that's ONLY because of Maurice Jones Drew (and Mercedes Lewis) carrying me the entire way.

Jones was injured in my last game... but luckily.. It wasn't anything to serious and he's back for my next weeks game.

My heart dropped when I saw him hurt though. haha. So I can't imagine how crazy it has to feel to both have your QB and now your RB out.

Update!

The Rams were victorious over the vile Lions, as all the Lions (save Calvin Johnson and his 10 catches for 150+ yards) sucked. Hard.

Hard enough to allow Antonio Pittman to rush for 132 yards and three scores. Most competent teams have forced Steven Jackson under 100 yards.

Final score 41-14
