I wouldn't call that clean by no means as he was "shaking cobwebs" out on the outside and was considered a count out victory for Axel. All he was doing was selling the after effects of his match with Lesnar.

 

Yeah it wasn't clean at all. Triple H had him completely beat, then had concussion symptoms as part of a really tasteless angle in 2013 (even in 2013 we knew concussions were pretty bad, and a chronic problem for certain wrestlers), so the match was a no-contest/unofficial countout where the focus was all on the angle. Then Trips tried to have a re-match to beat up Axel to show how tough and cool he was, but Vince had them ring the bell twice, awarding the match to Axel without him doing anything. Pretty much the opposite of "putting someone over."

Did I really just see Natalia plug Subway right in the middle of RAW? And this is one of the many reasons I don't watch the 3 hour version of RAW.....

I have no idea where are they going with this HHH vs Ambrose title match and why even do it? Was this the best way they could find to use Ambrose when Brock is not around? He doesn't really need losses at the moment, he needs to go to his WM match looking strong. God knows he need it, since he will take the beating of a lifetime.

This was pretty much a carbon copy of last weeks Raw, with Dean playing the role of Roman Reigns. </p><p> </p><p>

Undertaker pretty much did absolutly nothing. Egg on my face for expecting more. came out, semi sorta threatened Vince for using him as a tool, and then did exactly what Vince wanted anyway for no real reason given. Thanks for stopping by Taker, good talk. </p><p> </p><p>

Good included Sasha v. Becky, though the finish was telegraphed by Joe v. Sami's match on NXT. Seriously, seems like main roster creative saw that match and was like "Wait, you can do that!?!?"</p><p> </p><p>

Dean was good at what he did, at least Hunter got booed as the heel this week ha.</p><p> </p><p>

Big show - Owens continues to be stupid. </p><p> </p><p>

Steph's monologue was actually very good, to bad the crowd will never let go of the "What!!!" chants when they think they are being clever.</p><p> </p><p>

New Day were just ok. They got zero reaction, which surprised me, until i remembered they were in nashville and the last time here they heeled heavy on how country music sucks haha.</p>

I love them, they have essentially figured out how to make "annoying internet meme you hate" a heel character in real life, and I love it.</p><p> </p><p> What I don't love is now that they are over, it seems that they are being set up to be faces in a potential WM fued vs. the league of nations. The New Day gimmick only works if they are annoying heels you want to see get punched. Not sure they work as a "zany face!!!" act, which seems to be where WWE is headed with them.</p><p> </p><p> I am expecting yet another ruined heel gimmick due to it getting popular and Creative not being able to figure out what to do with the cheers other than "uhhh....make them good guys then the crowd reaction will match, that will fix it"</p>

<p>Look, I get all the Ambrose love and I really enjoy him usually too, but am I the only one who absolutely hates his selling?</p><p> </p><p>

It's really gotten to me lately watching him take the F5's from Lesnar and Pedigree from Triple H. He just lays there not really moving but just leaving his eyes open and wandering around...doesn't really look hurt just bored.</p>

All three members have tons of charisma, are good in ring workers, and the crowds have basically turned them face without them really doing anything to warrant a faceturn.</p>

Big E might be my favorite guy on the entire roster. He's about as complete of a wrestler as you can ask for. His offense looks credible, he's got great size and strength but can still bump and is a good base so he works great with small guys too. Charisma by the boatload, good on the mic, and still improving as well. Though for all the potential he has, he takes some incredible bumps that make me worry for him.

<p>New Day are great but I see can how their juvenile & nerdy material might not be to everyone's liking.</p><p> </p><p>

The majority of New Day's best material is actually in their off-air segments. If you watch all their stuff it's clear that they are constantly evolving their gimmick so they don't regurgitate the exact same promos every week.</p><p> </p><p>

And they're unofficially feuding with Bullet Club/Elite which is awesome even if WWE won't play ball:</p><p> </p><p>

Big E is amazing and I'm glad they've given him a showcase after he was kind of lost in the shuffle pre-New Day. I also like that they do a good job of protecting him a la Edge in Edge & Christian, since he's clearly got more potential at this point. This is also the most entertaining as a character Kofi's ever been.</p>

<p>This is clearly the good role for the lot of them (New Day). Maybe it's Xavier bringing forth the best in them, but it's working.</p><p> </p><p>

Finally watched last week's RAW and I must say I enjoyed the segments again. They did well to bring in Shane to 'save' Mania, and the match does indeed tickle my fancy. Good ball, WWE, but I hope it stays interesting if you still want me as a sub after Mania ('cause it doesn't look like I will).</p>
