That will go down as one of the worst WrestleManias ever. 7 hours and they wrapped almost no feuds up and yet managed to give us nothing compelling to look forward to. That's actually a pretty remarkable feat of terrible booking.

It's incredible that NXT can be so good while the WWE can be so bad.

I called that match at Rumble and for some god awful reason I watched it just to see if I was right....why WWE? You know that ovation that Daniel Bryan got at 30....this is the opposite.....

That women's match was good up until the ending. Loved New Day's intro gear! The right team got the win if it wasn't for the belts because the league would have been dead in the water if they lost that. Why are we burying The Wyatt family? WWE should have took that moment right after the people's elbow to turn John. He could have stuck The Rock with the AA and we could have had Ruthless Aggression John right there. I watch the show and see so many things that should have been. Shane and Taker was the true match of the night in my opinion. Ambrose and Lesnar was almost the worst match surprisingly....That looked like a glorified squash match. Shane got in way more offense on Taker than Ambrose did on Lesnar....that was pretty questionable by the road agents. That battle royal was just plain weird...I'm glad Baron Corbin got the big win because this is the first time this battle royal actually served a purpose.

Vince needs to let go of the book...too far out of touch with his audience.

WRESTLEMANIA...

EVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

SO AMAZING! MUCH BEAUTIFUL! VERY SPECTACLE! NOT TERRIBLE! THIS WAS ALL THAT WRESTLEMANIA IS ABOUT! CONGRATULATIONS TO WWE FOR GIVING ME ONE HELL OF A SURPRISE, I NEEDED A LAUGH! :D

I'll be watching Raw tomorrow for the sheer atmosphere...but oh well, what a show this Mania was. Of course I'm being ironic. This was a three-match show, and none of them was the Main Event. Of WrestleMania. I have been defending Reigns for the whole time, but the payoff was booked horribly...Stephanie being Speared was a brief light to the darkness that was this Main Event. I really thought they could do something good following the greatness that was Lesnar-Reigns last year. But WWE always surprises me the bad way...they were able to make one of the best heels in the game, Triple H, be booked to look like an idiot in a match where he should have masterfully dictated the up tempo against Reigns before it became an equally matched bout en route to the Reigns win. But the best coup was Wyatt's complete and total burial. It's great how they brought John Cena back JUST FOR THIS. I, for one, will never take him or any other member of the Family seriously, at least as much as I did two years ago, ever again. They would rather have a short term nostalgia moment than actually build up someone who could be a huge star for 10 years or so...Ambrose looked horrible in defeat as he did not fight back from a single F-5, Styles was denied a WrestleMania win to establish him, Undertaker won to keep the WWE in status quo, and the League of Nations won just to be shafted immediately after the match, rendering their victory useless.

I'm optimistic, of course, so let's look at the pros that actually made this a 6/10 for me...Kalisto retaining was the right call, Ryder's zebra was unexpected and made for a great WrestleMania moment (Even though I'm just thinking that they will immediately job him out as so many Intercontinental Champions have done before), Charlotte's win will go out as legendary if they play their cards right in what was probably the MOTN, and Corbin's win was also unexpected and probably the best route to go sans Mark Henry or a lower midcarder like Tyler Breeze (who didn't have a chance) winning. The Ladder Match, Styles vs. Jericho IV and the Divas Match were all great matches...the ONLY great matches on the show. Ambrose/Lesnar was going the right way, but they shafted its duration to give The Rock a 20 minute promo and 6 second squash, followed by a 5 minute burial of the Wyatt Family along with his best friend, John Cena. As I said, this is a 6/10 because of the workrate, it won't go down as a bad Mania (the Main Event will probably go down as one of the worst, though), but as a bizarre and horribly booked Mania, it will, that's for sure. WWE had 7 hours. And boy, did they use their 7 hours HORRIBLY. I can't believe that I actually stood still watching the entire show...it's nearly 2 AM here in Brazil and I still have to take a shower to look presentable to the girl later, but I actually did watch this for the whole 7 hours, thinking that SOMETHING, that SOMEONE was going to be the saving grace...I should have called it a day when Corbin won, as it was already being a bumpy ride when he did, but it would have been a pleasant ending to my night. But oh well. I got to go, so later on we can all discuss how amazing this Mania was. Good night to you all.

While I loved Breaking Ground and watching all the Legends roundtables, I'm not exactly chomping at the bit for Holy Foley or Camp WWE.

Jeez, it just felt like the show started tumbling downward after the Jericho-Styles match. Other than the Women's Title match (which wasn't as good as the NXT Women's Title match), the IC Title match, Styles-Jericho and Shane-Taker, there was nothing noteworthy. The New Day vs League of Nations match wasn't anything special, although their entrance and the moment afterwards was cool.

Everything else felt like throwaway fluff. And while the Jericho-Styles match was good, IMO all of the matches they've had before tonight were better. The main event was a disappointment, it seems like Triple H was (to borrow from TEW) off his game tonight. The match seemed slow, and it would've been a meh RAW main event IMO, but it is terrible as a WM main event. It reminded me of Orton-Triple H from WM25, but that match actually had a good feud behind it. Plus, is it just me, or did they seem to somehow quiet the crowd noise whenever Reigns was being booed? Did the mute the crowd mics? Because at first it seemed like he was getting booed, then I didn't really hear much of anything from the crowd at the end.

Anyone calling this the worst WrestleMania of all time didn't suffer through late Hulkamania/New Generation WrestleManias. Woof, those were awful.

I thought the show was decent, not great, and last two segments were particularly poor. I cannot imagine how they salvage the Wyatt Family after tonight, and they did so to put over a 40+ ex-wrestler and the company ace who's over as can be, love or hate him? I thought it was another example of the WWE showing us, as an audience, that the new product and performers are insignificant and weak, which is an ongoing theme in WWE booking, and one that seems like it hurts the product long term for a questionable payoff.

The Reigns victory needed to happen to get it out of the way, but I don't know that I have seen a match so utterly rejected by the audience since crowds chanted for Rocky to die. Either they were muting the audience because they were booing or that crowd was dead for the main event. There was just no heat in that match except for boos for Roman, outside of the Steph spear. I just wonder how long the WWE can actively fight their audience.

I think the problem with the build to this match is that they positioned Roman as the anti-corporate, anti-authority man, but the fans see him *as* the corporate-ordained champion. It lacks sincerity, and as dumb as WWE thinks its audiences are, they are not so dumb as to not be able to tell when someone is insincere. The way they've booked Roman is shameful. He's a much better performer than he gets credit for, even if he should generally stay away from the mic, but the way they've booked him has done him no favors - negative favors!

Still, rest of the card was okay to pretty good, in my opinion. Whether you like work rate or heat as the measure of a show, I think this was a WrestleMania that started strong, stayed at least average through most the show, and dropped off sharply at the end.

Wrestlemania 9 and 11 are the two worst in history. So yeah this show probably isn't even in the worst five of all time. You still had a *** ladder match and a **** women's match. Jericho Styles was around ***. The Shane McMahon match was bad but that stunt was insane. So yeah a bad Wrestlemania and a bottom ten but its not even in the bottom five let alone the worst.
