Roadblock Review:

New Day vs Sheasaro - Good match. The finish was creative with Cesaro outsmarting Kofi. New Day finally lost and I'm happy!

Zayn vs Strowman - OK match. Should have been more brutal for the story they were telling. I'm not sure where either guy goes from here.

Jericho vs Rollins - No rating. I fast-forwarded to the finish because I've seen enough of them on Raw the last couple of months.

Kendrick vs TJP vs Swann - Worst match on the card. It didn't have any flow and the crowd was dead. Aries' commentary and Neville's heel turn were the best parts.

Sasha vs Charlotte - Great match. Engrossing from start to finish. A lot of people seem to hate this match for booking Sasha to tap out but the way Charlotte brutalized her (and the blood) really sold me on her struggle. The problem with Charlotte as champion is that they have to make it believable that Bayley can dethrone her at Mania (assuming that's the plan). It would have been easier to piggyback on Sasha and Bayley's NXT feud instead. Charlotte shouldn't be getting pinned after a weak looking Bayley-2-Belly.

Reigns vs Owens - Good match but it should have been Champion vs Champion. Instead they made Reigns the supposed babyface look greedy for wanting 2 belts.

Verdict: Not bad for a throwaway PPV but still mostly skippable. One thing they are getting right with the exclusive PPVs is puting less matches on the card and giving them plenty of time.

The women's title booking is ridiculous by now. All the hopping makes me lose interest, especially when we all already know that they're gunning for that stupid ppv streak. The whole division looks forced. Quite honestly, I have no Idea why this feud had ratings. Maybe it's the best of the worst that Raw has out there, but the way they booked the title hoping and Sasha always losing at PPVs makes me lose interest. The fact that someone calls this garbage the next "Steamboat vs Flair of Our Generation," as I've seen on some forums, makes me laugh.

The only good thing that came out of the draft was some of SD's booking and even so it's also repetitive. They need more people on each brand. And creating more shows, like 205 is just adding to all being repetitive. I mean...how many more times will we have to see Jericho vs. Rollins, for example? And right now, (since Dolph is just gonna be fed to Styles), the only real contender to the WWE World Title is John Cena. A Brand split with a couple of main eventers in each brand won't work.

Ok, is everyone about the fact that we might have a potential new tag team in Rusev and Jinder Mahal?

Not only would it give Jinder Mahal something to do, it would add some depth to the tag team scene.

I can already imagine their team name. Ru-Hal. And their finishing move? The Ru-Mahal!

I just...Just book it already WWE, what are you waiting for? You're wasting a perfectly good opportunity here!

Rusev in the tag division fighting Sheamus and Cesaro would be great. Rusev is still underrated. He made last week's Total Divas 1000x better.

Having said that, l'd rather they make Jinder the much-needed 3rd member of The Club, although it would still be a weak stable because Vince probably isn't going to push them anytime soon.

Hope they fire the idiot. Doesnt belong in a WWE ring.

He's fine as a enhancement/ lower mid card comedy act, and they need those on smackdown for people to murder. If that's what is next for him, I'm fine with it.

Agree 100% that I want him nowhere near the main event again, ever, however. Hoping AJ's absolute destruction of him with his lil' buddy Dean not caring enough to stop it is the FULL STOP to that whole endeavor.

Now that he's a little famous, I assume he'll be jobbing, especially now that he's confident he's actually got a shot.

RAW was ok, but some remarks regardless: I like improvising (a lot), but KO & Y2J didn't really click to me in the kickoff segment, at least not today. They made the same heel jokes mere seconds after the other guy made them. It was average. I guess that's the side effect. The Neville heel turn might work well. He did not disappoint, though the angle is cheesy. Bailey came off as a little awkward in the middle of her match. Some freaky semi-botches (or is it part of the gimmick somehow?). If they are setting up the same thing as Charlotte vs Sasha and replace the latter with Bailey, I'm not really looking forward to it.

In no way was that the story being told.

Why wasn't Dave sent down to development to learn the trade before being thrown on International TV. Isn't things like this is what NXT is for?

Just listened to Cornette burying Saxton, which seems funny to me given he always indicates he rarely watches the current product. His gimmick of "being made fun of" gets tired quickly. We know he's just there because he's black. It makes sense to have a black commentator at all times. It's been their policy for years, but BookerT and even the coach were entertaining (the latter even had chemistry with the Rock). Saxton is not (...yet). Otunga is better but I don't like him. Playing the educated card seems weird when placed in the footsteps of King.

All this repetitive booking doesn't really bother me, especially given the quality of the Flair/Banks matchups, and the surprisingly good Miz/Ziggler runs. But for every good one of those, there's a bad one. But then again: what good can they get out of Reigns? I suppose Owens is the best option they have.
