I think it was a joke and everyone took it seriously.

But that's 2017, everyone gets offended.

I agree people get offended too easily these days but it was still in poor taste making a joke about Emma losing her job.

But it wasn't as bad as when Josh from Tough Enough made a crack on Twitter about 3MB being "jobbers" a few years ago. At least Rush kept it kayfabe.

THAT was idiotic. You can't just break kayfabe all willy nilly.

True but the timing was awful. His co-worker was just fired and he turned it into a way to make himself relevant on social media. He's a nobody in WWE terms who shouldn't be tweeting about anything other than his own matches in NXT at this stage of his career. Vince loves his social media buzz so the superstars have to extra careful what they post so they don't make the old man angry.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been sent home from the European Tour after 'going in to business for themselves' during Smackdown Live.

Apparently they were meant to take a beatdown by New Day after the match but Owens rolled in hit Kofi a few times and then they scarpered. Also, apparently a few backstage sources have come out and said they have been a little difficult to work with lately and have seemed out of sorts.

If that is the true reason, then that is pretty stupid by Owens/Zayn. Zayn is the most relevant he has ever been by a mile, and Owens is in probably his biggest storyline and is arguably the main heel on SD.

Why would they let the supposed faces in the situation get in a post match beat down on the heels before a pay per view blow off. In that kind of situation it would blow out the heat in the buildup because the heels have already gotten their comeuppance.

K-Nection, that reasoning only makes sense if the heels the faces get the comeuppance against are the heels they are facing at the PPV.

Maybe they are building to that, but seems pretty clear so far that we're getting The Shield vs The New Day not New Day vs Owens/Zayn.

Also, as SM82 says, regardless they should do what they are told to do. If they have an issue, talk it out with New Day and the bookers, don't agree to it, go out there, and do your own thing.

All this is, of course, subject to what happened being what is reported to have happened.

There's also the "we are men of honor" line that Sami used, presumably in reference to the firing of their old Ring of Honor buddy Jimmy Jacobs. Can't imagine that was approved.

In other news Jinder lost the title to AJ. Which is great, so long as AJ doesn't get squashed by Lesnar at SS. Although rumor has it Brock refused to work with Jinder which is why the title change happened.

Also, while it wasn't much of a match, we had an actual intergender match between Becky and Ellsworth. Triple H said in an interview (last year I think) that he wasn't opposed to the idea but that it wasn't likely to happen any time soon.

To be honest, I've been a little impressed by Vince and Creative during this Survivor Series build. It's been a bit of clusterfork but it's been less predictable than usual.

Oh I absolutely agree that they shouldn't hijack a show but I was just agreeing with their frame of mind. They are two really hot heels and it makes no sense to feed them to The new day if it is not on PPV. Them acting like chicken S#1T heels only builds heat. Its wrestling 101 and faces shouldn't be successfully doing post match beat downs on free tv unless it is on midcard jobber heels ala (Heath Slater 2010-2016).

You absolutely don't go into business for yourself! I just understand the reasoning behind the protest.

Any sources available? Couldn't find these rumors anywhere.

Actually from what I've read they are protecting Jinder by not feeding him to Brock so he can pick up that belt on a New Delhi House show. As much as we all want to see an even contest between Aj vs. Brock its going to be mostly Brock mauling Aj until Brock will be gracious enough to pin him.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated and Wrestling Observer articles via Cageside Seats.

Apparently it's been an idea for many weeks but Vince only gave it the OK the week before. Both Heyman and Lesnar pushed hard for Styles as his opponent. I'm not not surprised as Mahal would be a big step down from Joe/Strowman/Reigns (or even Goldberg who has name value) and Vince obviously wants to keep the Beast happy.

I've heard plenty of theories but Dave Meltzer doesn't know for sure why they took the belt off Jinder and that's where the hearsay should end really. I get tired of there being so many "insiders" with their SCOOPZ, most of whom don't know for sure and admit as much but know their "source" can never be challenged.

I take it all with a pinch of salt but clearly they feel they can still sell the India tour without Jinder as Champion. I doubt he's winning the belt back at New Delhi because AJ Styles isn't booked for the tour and it looks like they're doing Jinder vs. HHH on one of the dates.

For what it's worth, no dirtsheet reported that WWE fired Austin Aries but if you're to believe the man himself that's what actually happened.
