Botched the ending but winning via manager vomit distraction was funny. - Thatch Style > Every other style - Dr. Kyle PHD! - I love that both titles have multiple contenders and the storylines are criss-crossing. I want Lee to be Champ Champ. - Kayden vs Dakota was solid. It's about time Kayden and Kacy were on TV regularly. Gimme Io vs Mercedes! - Reed vs Ruff was OK. - Escobar's good English will help him if he ever makes it to Raw or Smackdown. I'd like to see Maverick and Atlas as a tag team after the feud with Escobar is over. - Tegan & Shotzi vs Sasha & Bayley © was MOTN. Shotzi with the modified version of Daniel Bryan's Cattle Mutilation! Holy crap Io wrecked them both! Survivor Series build starting early. Didn't watch all of it, but the artificial crowd noices - at least during the main event - are just stupid. I feel the 'small' crowd feeling fits NXT, for one, and any additions just feel silly. Even before the pandemic and #SpeakingOut movement there were rumors that NXT UK was losing WWE money big time and it doesn't get a ton of views on the Network. Tegan needs to dial back the facial expressions.</p><p> - Thatcher vs Lorcan was a good mat grapplng match. Thatcher is a submission beast.</p><p> - Loved the Killer Kross/Scarlett promo.</p><p> - Rhea vs Aaliyah & Stone was a fun match. I was sports entertained.</p><p> - Strong vs Lumis strap match was good but went a bit long.</p><p> - Nice Escobar promo. I thought Atlas might help Maverick out but I guess Breezango will do.</p><p> - The Boss arriving in style with themed ring gear. Sasha vs Io was MOTN. Bestia Negra Posted July 3, 2020 Share Posted July 3, 2020 The Thatcher vs Lorcan match ... my god, that was by far the best pro wrestling match I've seen in ages I haven't really watched WWE/NXT for quite some years aside of some matches every now and then but how in the world is Dexter Lumis not prominently featured on their main shows? Dude can work, looks like a million bucks and his psycho (?) gimmick matches his look perfectly. Anyway, gotta say I really enjoyed night 1 of the Bash, I guess I have to watch NXT more often. WWE has had at least 30 positive test results of COVID-19 and they're putting out some of the absolute worst content they've ever done. Just shut down for awhile. Recharge physically and creatively. And like Russo WCW, they will probably ignore the result of the match and pretend it never happened, or have a no contest in a match where that's not possible. MVP has just been awesome since he came back (The new US title is gorgeous) And Randy Orton has just been amazing all year. Scott looked strong in defeat.</p><p> - Shotzi running Stone over with her tank was hilarious.</p><p> - Hype video package for Nox vs Io.</p><p> - Legado Del Fantasma vs Breezango & Maverick was solid. Loved Breezango's entrance.</p><p> - Santana vs Mercedes was solid. I'd love to see Mercedes get a crack at Io's title down the track.</p><p> - Lee © vs Cole © was great. Ziggler - McIntyre wasn't too bad and Asuka - Banks was acceptable (there were quite a few botches in that match) but the rest was hot garbo. I don't know why WWE has that new fetish with cinematic matches ... they've all been terrible at best. The swamp ... that's were cinematic matches belong.
