Shawn and Bret were different kinds of jerks; Shawn was a jerk to his co-workers while Bret was a jerk to his wife. No question, though, that Bret was the more personable of the two, pre-conversion.

I like my announcers to call the moves, explain strategy, and get over the guys in the ring. Cole excels at all but three of those things.

I like Booked T on commentary because he makes me laugh.

The other night I was trying to remember some WCW things and it popped in my head. Didn't Stevie Ray do commentary in wcw?

What if Stevie Ray and Booked T were the only commentary.

"awww yeah!" "sweet fruit booty."

I'm not sure anybody but their mother would understand what is happening in the match. It's got to be hell on Sharmell when she goes to Harlem Heat family reunion.

Well, if we're posting stuff from news sites now:

Credit: PWI

Kevin Nash is expected at Raw this Monday and will be a regular character going forward on WWE TV. Nash will be doing a program with CM Punk and for those wondering, yes, the plan is for the two to meet in the ring. The idea behind the program was to give Punk a major name to work with that would put him over. Personally, I don't see how working with Nash would get him over more than the John Cena bouts had been doing, but that's just me.

The backstage reaction to the Punk-Nash back and forth Monday was that Punk got the better of Nash and that Nash's comebacks came off too inside and antiquated in comparison. Nash did not receive a big reaction coming out on Raw and the feeling after the taping was that the company needed to do a stronger job of explaining to the current generation of fans who he was. Initially, that was not a concern due to the big pop he received at the Royal Rumble.

WWE instructed Nash to dye his hair black for his appearances, although it may have already been dyed for his recent role in "Rock of Ages" where he plays a bodyguard to the Tom Cruise character "Stacee Jaxx." TNA had tried numerous times to get Nash to dye his hair during his run there but Nash would often convince officials otherwise, something that was a minor frustration among certain people in that company.

Nash, meanwhile, was able to slip a final shot in on TNA during the Raw back and forth with Punk. When Nash stated that Punk looked like a short order cook in a "Pikeville Waffle House", it was a shot at one of TNA's best house show markets, Pikeville, Kentucky. Nash was very verbal during his TNA run that he hated the company's house shows and was never a happy camper when he was booked on them.

Going back to Cena holding the title for a while. WWE is typically a face based company (Hogan, Cena, Bruno, Backlund, Bret, Austin) while WCW/NWA was mainly heel based (Flair, NWO). Memphis was also face based with Lawler. Mantel talks about on a podcast how bringing in a new heel, they knew he had a run of 8-12 months with the heel working his way up to fighting Lawler and once he was defeated, he would go somewhere else. WWE has done a poor job of building up credible threats to Cena with the start/stop pushing of Swagger and others. They've also not built up the face ranks well with only Kofi and Rey being the ones that haven't flip flopped back and forth. Del Rio was hotter 3-4 months ago than he is now with the belt. Some of that is due to Edge getting hurt. However, I'm not sure he's been built up enough as a Main Event talent that everyone sees him as a legit champ.

Honestly, I'd rather see them give ADR vs Punk a few months of run with Cena trying to work his way back into the title picture (he's 0-2 vs Punk) and settle things with HHH.

I don't know why, but when Triple H mentioned that Nash would be on RAW, it got a pretty nice pop. But when he came to the ring, the pop was gone... <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Well if we're just throwing out theories, I think Nash not only seemed slower more so than usual but he lacked both the energy and his decent mic talk for the first time seem mumbled. It didn't hurt that the whole thing was confusing.

Even I kind of lost it with the whole comeback of Punk stating why Nash has problems with Waffle houses. I thought the feud seemed straight forward at first but Nash out there on the ring alone with body guards protecting him, you have to admit that's not the usual way they build up feuds.

For one, Nash is a big man. Punk is a little guy. Nash had just power bombed Punk and now he's rambling about cellphone texts. Punk came out and now he has no problem with the championship belt. Kind of hard to pop over that. The feud killed the original feud even though this is supposed to be a continuation of it.

You don't know what goes on behind closed doors, you don't know what wasn't made public.

I personally have a hard time imagining anything his wife could have done to make her deserve the treatment he gave her.

My only point is what I said previously. Neutrality (or equality) seems to be something that follows Bret around throughout the perception of the IWC but others have a pass.

It could be someone else other than HBK, everyone gets a free pass except Bret. There can't be a discussion where he is just the consensus good in a situation.

That's just my observation anyway. I've never really been interested in these arguments as I find them to often stray towards an irrelevant point. I just think it should either be ignored or addressed. No need to always lump Bret with the other guys to stop any arguments.

I still don't understand your point at all or why you decided to address me.

Never mind then. I thought it was clear from my last few posts. Why move on while ruining a person that's generally good. Just because there's no resolution doesn't mean the ok thing to do is to consider both parties being talked about as jerks.

There are things.

She could have cheated.

She could have been violent. That may make you laugh, but it's true. There are women who will get physically violent with men, and expect to not be hit. Not saying it's right but it's there.

I'm not saying she did anything, my point is we don't know the details. We don't know what went on in their home.
