Or Axel can figure out who he is like Curt did with being the son of a legend as well. Axel shouldn't do the perfect plex and if he does I'm ok with it being kicked out of because he's a lower card heel. Axel might be the most bland worker on the roster. Solid worker but very dull.

Yeah I thought that was solid start to finish. There wasn't a really terrible match, but I kind of didn't enjoy the way Cena/Wyatt went, I thought it made Wyatt look really weak.

His strong point is in his capability to influence and the people he surrounds himself with.</p><p> </p><p> Makes a whole lot of sense for a cult leader.</p>

<p>I like the way Wyatt is booked too. He reminds me of villains like Lex Luthor and The Joker, men who aren't stronger than the hero, but are crafty and underhanded enough to make up for it. The only thing I thought was dumb was the kid's voice, my brother and I broke out laughing the second Cena had to sell that as terrifying.</p><p> </p><p>

Harper and Rowan holding hands with the kid was adorable though.</p>

I guess that makes some sort of sense, but I still think he should be booked better than a 3-on-1 handicap match. Especially after what he did to Bryan at the Rumble.

I thought Cena vs Wyatt was the worst match I've seen all year. The rest of the card was alright though, I have no complaints.

<strong>RVD vs Swagger vs Cesaro</strong> - Good match with lots of fun spots. I didn't realise it was Elimination rules just like the announcers. Cesaro was as good as ever. RVD was back on his game. Swagger has improved since being paired with Cesaro.</p><p>

<strong>Rusev vs Truth & Woods</strong> - Putin shout-out from Lana! Just a longer version of his usual squash matches. He needs a better opponent like Ziggler.</p><p>

<strong>BNB vs Big E (IC Championship)</strong> - Solid match. The Bullhammer was weak, though. Barrett deserves the title win.</p><p>

<strong>Evolution vs The Shield</strong> - Awesome MOTY contender! Enough crazy spots to fit the Extreme Rules theme. Even better that The Shield won clean and Batista took the pin.</p><p>

<strong>Cena vs Bray</strong> - Solid match considering the wrestlers involved. Rowan & Harper and the cage door were used smartly to add interesting spots. I loved the ending despite the cheesy demon voice. Bray really needs to beat Cena clean at Payback if they want to keep building him up as a top heel.</p><p>

<strong>Paige vs Tamina (Divas Championship)</strong> - Solid match despite a ref count botch and Tamina tapping too fast. Paige was booked as a smart diva who can take bumps, which is great. It was an above average performance by the inconsistent Tamina.</p><p>

<strong>Bryan vs Kane (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)</strong> - Good match that hid Kane's weaknesses. The match improved when they went backstage. The forklist stunt was pure gold. The ending with the burning table was a decent attempt at doing something cool.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Verdict:</span></strong> Good PPV. Better than it looked on paper. I loved Evolution vs The Shield. Bryan vs Kane and Cena vs Bray were better than I expected. MVP: Seth Rollins.</p><p> </p><p>

Each to their own I guess, we can't all think the same way.</p><p> </p><p> Extreme Rules was a solid PPV in my opinion. Sure it had it's bad spots but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it. They could probably have just had the kid singing normally during Wyatt/Cena match which would have been frightening enough (in a sense that Wyatt is "brainwashing" these kids) but I understand where they were coming from in doing it. Paige vs. Tamina was a hell of a lot better than expected, not from Paige as I've seen her wrestle for the past 5 or 6 years and she's a very good worker, but sometimes with Tamina you don't know what you're getting. Swagger vs. RVD vs. Cesaro done what it was supposed to as did Evolution vs. The Shield (which I thought was match of the night). Roman Reigns is going to be a big star but I think Seth Rollins has been the surprise package for the group - unless you'd seen him wrestle ROH then you know what he's capable of. Rusev handicap match was what it was, which is to say filler really. I'd probably say this was the worst match on the card (and that's not saying it was bad, just that the rest were better). Main event was good too. Some good spots and Kane lost without looking weak. This elevates Daniel in "kayfabe" terms to another level as he has beaten the Demon Kane. Didn't really care too much for the IC title match as I don't like Big E, but glad to see Barrett win it - now maybe a feud with Ziggler to get some prestige back on the belt.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Raw Review:</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Battle Royale (US Championship)</strong> - I like how The Shield are being punished for beating Evolution. The 2nd half was entertaining. I was hoping Swagger would win but Sheamus is a better choice if he's turning heel.</p><p> <strong>RVD vs Cesaro</strong> - Solid match. The DQ ending got Cesaro some non-Heyman-generated heat.</p><p> <strong>Ryback vs Cody</strong> - Solid match.</p><p> <strong>Kofi vs Rusev</strong> - I like Rusev's moveset. He just needs a better finisher than the camel clutch, some sort of extreme backbreaker or slam for guys like Kofi and Ziggler to sell the crap out of.</p><p> <strong>Del Rio vs Bryan</strong> - Good match. Brie's acting was decent until she started with the awful screaming backstage. Unfortunately I think we're stuck with Kane in the main event for another PPV. Has Orton's rematch clause lapsed?</p><p> <strong>Big E vs BNB (IC Championship)</strong> - Solid match. They might have to turn Big E heel to get a reaction from the crowd.</p><p> <strong>Swagger vs Rose</strong> - Zeb's Deportation List! Zeb and Swagger's reactions to Adam Rose's entrance were priceless. The crowd didn't crap on it so it was probably the best way to debut him.</p><p> <strong>The Wyatts vs The Shield</strong> - Good match.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Verdict:</span></strong> Solid follow-up to Extreme Rules. First Antonio Cesaro and Big E Langston became just Cesaro and Big E and now Alexander Rusev is just Rusev.

 

I read before it was for marketing purposes, but that is just dumb. How long before Adam Rose is just Rose or Bo Dallas is just Bo?

He'll have to be impressive in the ring to win a lot of people over, it's not like it's going to grow on people either like Bad News Barrett did. The guy screams d-bag party goer. With that said, it would've been better for him to debut as a heel as I don't see many current WWE fans relating with a party goer gimmick.</p>
